Looks like this is the busiest day at Costco. I wonder why, then I realized it's the 30th day of the month and people would rather shop at Costco for better (wholesale) deals. Great isn't it? We purchased chunks of meat, poultry, dozens of eggs, toilet tissues and paper towels and kitchen supplies from Costco for our monthly supply, sometimes twice a month we have to return again because of other miscellaneous products that we need for the house. So what else is new there? Oh, their snack bar has that cheap long hotdog for just $1.50 with free pop of your choice (Brisk, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, or crush). I was shocked of its price! Big deal!!!!!!! My husband can't believe it either. French fries with gravy is worth $2.49, would you believe that? Juicy, delicious hotdog in a bun is cheaper than french fries?!!!!!! How wonderful! Would it be nice if Costco will also sell asian products such as: springroll wrappers, wonton wrappers, farkay noodles, vermicelli (angel hair noodles), cassava, saba' (the fat cooking banana), tofu, seaweeds for sushi rolls, sticky sushi rice, coconut milk for cooking (not the coco drinks) and vinegar.
The weather is absolutely gorgeous, sunny bright and cold. The mountain ranges have snowy alps and wide array of white clouds touching its peak. Hundreds of beautiful white swans gathered and flocked together on the verdant field of grass along Black Creek. There's no sight of sheep nor cows, just few horses grazing at the farmlands. The rural view of the Black Creek area has smitten my spirit and to compare the urban area with all the skyscrapers and traffic congestion brought on by modern urbanization, one can simply choose the rural life because of its peaceful, laid back atmosphere.
Along the highway, while my husband drives our vehicle, he asked me about the movie (Jack Reacher starring: Tom Cruise and Rosamund Pike) we watched last night. Since I was not able to watch the beginning of the movie I was not able to know what really happened and who was the sniper. So, this is the gist of that movie as I understand it. A sniper killed five innocent victims at random while they were at the park, at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Tom (Jack) was hired by the woman lawyer (Rosamund) who handled the case. Jack was an ex-Army who is an expert in guns and other weapons and martial arts. Bloopers? It's kind of weird that there's a part in the movie when Jack was hit with a metal pipe on his head and still was able to fight back. It is a mystery whether Jack has super power like superman or was he a robot in this movie? The young woman in this movie was hit with a fist (hand blow) on the head by the villain and died right instantly. The funny scene here, the lawyer thought Jack was hitting on her. lol. Then Jack thought the young woman at the bar was a hooker hitting on him but actually she has a decent job. It's the wrong approach that made it unclear for everyone in this puzzling movie. At the end of that movie you'll find out who the real sniper is.
The waves along the beach is a bit higher and continuously waves back and forth faster and faster than the usual normal rhythm. It's windy and the air is fresh not suffocating. Well, it's winter. The smell of awful foul seaweeds, and decaying matter of shellfish, dead ospreys and seagulls sometimes brought foul odor during summer time, not at winter time so it's joyous to say the least at this point in time.
It's nice to get out once in a while and breathe fresh air.
Sizzling hot beef steak, steamed rice, fried potatoes, steamed asparagus with mayo, grilled sauteed mushrooms for dinner! Great! My husband is the masterchef for tonight!!

Mysterious Challenger
Daily readings: Our Daily Bread, January 28
Our daily bread is surely a "timely treasure of the past." Today's reading is about "one" of the seven astronauts named Christa McAuliffe, a teacher who perished in 1986, she was chosen to fly the Challenger together with other very talented, intelligent people and astronauts but unfortunately the space shuttle exploded and it happened abruptly in the sky. Today, January 28, 2016 is the 30th anniversary of the greatest mystery and lost of lives in space.
No one knows the reason why the Challenger space shuttle exploded in space.
While I was reading this book: Reference Guide to Grammar and Usage by Muriel Harris and Joan Pilz, one of the pages revealed the probable cause of the Challenger's "lost in space." Click the photo image to find out.
Do you think Richard Feynman correctly identified the cause? What's really the problem with the Challenger? It's impossible to know the truth behind the explosion. Exploration in space is beyond me. You have to be an astronaut, expert in thermodynamics, expertise in space could be a possible way to identify the problem, what's in space during the lift-off. Mental Health Issue was a topic for discussion on TV and in places where BELL Let's talk sponsored the tribute to those who were helpless about such dilemma. For sometime talking about mental issues were sort of taboo for some ethnic group and for people who shy away to the basic problem about mental disorder. However when mental health is an issue it doesn't really has to be confined with suicidal tendency, but also about prevention, cure and how to defeat the group of depressed individuals who would like to influence your extrovert mentality. There's always a way to bring sunshine to each other in the form of providing music, dance, party, hobbies that will bring about change and happiness. Employment!!!!!All those I mentioned above to provide happiness always have to deal with financial aspect of such individual to keep someone happy. Yeah it's different now. You talk for a long chat over the phone and you don't even know that there's a hidden meter to the chat and you must pay. It's the same in the chat group. There's always hidden meter. Locally, you can talk to a person personally, by face to face and you wont pay anything, unless you chat outside inside the cafe or restaurant. You can chat as much as you want with other people whom you thought you know but it ends up the person you are chatting with actually are tele-marketers. They can't be robots or android eh? Hopefully the people you talked are not criminals. It's best to talk to your family, it's better that way, healthy eh? How about putting a smile on your face and let the SUN shines through and have that peek-a-boo in the great wide blue sky? Then you wished how about snow because it's January only, you don't really like summer on winter.
Why? The Earth will be dry like a desert by March if there's snow on planet Earth until February. That's why.
So, JANUARY is not the month for mental health issues only. When the MIND is involve it also allows PERCEPTION. It's about PLANs, it's about THINKING RATIONALLY and THINKING PURPOSELY. Evolution Of The Mind
FREUD is A FRAUD? I don't know ...I don't really know because I was not born at the time of Sigmund Freud although Freud's many scholarly friends of men and women of the Psychology Department of the very famous universities in Paris and Vienna commented that Freud is a genius and one of a kind in opening greater heights of the mental process wherein the subjects are not only remarkably talented but possessed extraordinary gifts of the mind. Freud unraveled the great mysteries of the minds of those people who the society think were feeble minded or slow. Well, those people were slow to act because they knew what will happen if they acted swiftly and maybe there will be no future left behind for us to see.
I was supposed to watch the X FILES of David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) 2 FBI Agents who were devoted in unraveling the msyteries of the alien abductions, UFO, paranormal activity, and the many government confidential records that were kept off the record reason unknown that's the idea of the X FILES producer and writers. Waiting and waiting and suddenly our TV showed something else... yeah even if we don't touch our remote control or channel changer. Another show was replaced. Tsk! tsk! WTH!!!! It was the NCIS that we watched instead in another channel on the 24th and on the 25th, X FILES can't be found either on our TV Channel so we watched THE MAGICIANS instead which is absolutely a double featured two hour series. The premiere presentation of THE MAGICIANs tv series is quite interesting, simply it's not ordinary by today's standard, however there is that presence of the magic behind HARRY POTTER"s theme if you know what I mean. It's like all the young characters of Harry Potter's movie grew up from Elementary to their College Years and what could you expect them to do?
On another channel is the premiere telecast of LUCIFER. Who wants to see Lucifer? Maybe people who wants to decipher who is Lucifer and what he is capable of and what kind of power he possessed? Do you have to be frightened about it? You were not frightened about GOD when he is portrayed by MF. In the Book, Lucifer is the most beautiful star, radiant star, influential and powerful but he disobeyed God. It seems the story is some sort of myth like the Greek mythology but there are so many believers that the story of God and Lucifer thus exist. For me that's only a story of GOOD Vs EVIL. God has a name and it's always Good and Lucifer means Bad, everything that is bad is evil. To prolong the process of good and evil you have to provide stories and children love stories (of all kinds). Then as time progressed, you grew up and educated on higher level of consciousness, your God and the evil persona has changed gradually. There is that evolution of the world and the evolution of the MIND that resonates with your thinking, after all you are no longer living in a cave.

Not that I'm stating the one who reads this booklet is unrighteous, rather it will keep you avoid nuisance or troubles, avoid boastful and annoying beings, hopefully cast away demons and temptations. There's a lot of reason to read this booklet and grant that every page has a moral lesson to be learned.
The booklet "Our Daily Bread" has enough religious verses derived from the Holy Bible and many interesting quotes from famous and non-famous people whose faith has been tested.
OUR DAILY BREAD is such a good read especially on my BIRTHDAY!

Sweet!
The Cloud-Effect
We have a gorgeous weather today! Whew! How could it be? Then we heard and listen to the news on TV that the U.S. is experiencing snowstorm. Americans went panic on that sad alarming news and they had panic buying leaving most of the grocery stores empty of fresh produce, canned goods, and other non-perishable food, bottled water, shovels, winter clothing, etc.
What could be the devastation effect of such snowstorm? It happened before, right? They knew how to survive and they know what to do. Here in Canada, we usually had that kind of snowstorm that's why before the onset of such calamity, QF, Superstore, Save On Foods, Walmart have caselot sale so that the whole community can avail of such discounted products. Lots of savings!
Since we have no snowstorm, the sky up there is open like a clear blue with arrays of white clouds all over the place. The clouds are probably waiting to be discovered today and perceived as: stratus (below 6,000 ft.), altostratus (6,000 ft -20,000 ft), cirrus clouds ( above 18,000 ft) on the other side of the sky farther away from the stratus line of clouds are clouds of mackerel. Funny that it was probably named after the sky where the reflection of school of fish are found. Mackerel, mackerel... wala bang galunggong? Ha ha ha!
No, not really fun. No pun intended. Snowstorm is not something to be laughed at. I don't like accidents and I hate the cold front and the many ill-effects of such storm. It's devastating to know how snowstorm can affect every houses, buildings, roads, and highways. Heavy snow can destroy roofs, shingles, and worse is it can destroy houses, fences, bridges, walls and other properties. I pray for the safety and security of all those who are suffering from that heavy load brought on by this awful snowstorm in the US.

Therapy Blog
You wont believe it but I love blogging more than writing novels, novellette or short stories. Reason for this is common knowledge that blogging is more efficient in sending messages to readers. To write a novel you must have peace and quiet and concentration in an environment more than pleasing and effective to the plot of your story. If you are an avid reader of other books, novels and a viewer of movies you wont be able to concentrate for obvious reason that what you might write will have the consequence of writing the same story line or plot done by other writers from the past.
I had written a few stories I considered short novels and I wont deny that some of the latest movies have "stolen" parts of my novels. Who will my readers believe anyway? The "known authors or the unknown authors?" That's for you to judge and I hope you write your own stories too and find out for yourself how you can be able to manage writing a story that is "yours alone."
Your story is yours when it is based on your life. An autobiography of your life is for a start the best story ever told. No one will steal your own story because it's your life. Well, thus, if there is that un- authorized biography of yours that was told and then written by one of your friends or your closest member of the family. ???
A blog is a blog and it's free of controversial issue unless you add controversy to that issue. Sometimes the blog is effortless when you know the "keywords" and from that point of time and composition of such keywords you manage to expand or broaden the situation.
My knowledge in theme writing started when I was in elementary school. Theme writing is like writing essays and in grade school we are given a thirty-minute time period to compose 5 to 10 paragraphs with the same kind of theme, for example theme on: Christmas Vacation, Birthday Celebration, Baptismal, Future Prediction (ESP Experience), Favorite Subject, Ambition, Favorite Sports, Dreams, Summer Vacation, Weddings, Funeral, Memoirs, Calamity, and other Very Interesting Events, Favorite Teacher or Heroes, etc. Of course there is that annoying rules of perfect grammar, correct punctuation, correct spelling, the pad paper used for writing must have specified indention on both sides and your story must be interesting, can be understood, must be written in English language not Tagalog. In all these essays, we all have to use ballpens with black ink only, pencil is not allowed. Worse? You should have to be perfect that you should not make mistake or erase what you have written. Erasures meant minus on your 100% grade. That's elementary, my dear Aquarius.

Blogwriters can compose their own story and they can edit their stories if what they pleased according to their mood and whatever style they want to write, print or use of font. They can use any medium of arts, photos and what else they could do to impress their readers? Other blog writers would just be happy to be read or viewed without the need to be in a competitive world of blogging. As I stated over and over again, BLOGGING is first and foremost a THERAPY.
Blogs are not newspapers where the journalist's works are edited word per word by their newspaper's editor.

Nobody wants a perfect human being. They would probably accept robots to do the trick.
Humans are known to mess up something so that there's only one perfect being. Why I know that eh? Another blog has that "answer." Reason that you can understand if you know "those people." They always want to link and connect.

Just In Case You Are That Curious
We're waiting for the continuation of the NCIS Marathon then suddenly the next episode, have Ziva (Cote de Pablo), all of a sudden in the picture. Hmm, what happened? Which is which, the older sequel or the new sequel?
Okay, we are at the episode when the terrorists used young kids to do their work for them. MARS, The New Frontier?
This time, the movie MARTIAN has provided a meaningful way of uplifting its economic standard, survival by keeping fit (mentally and physically as much as psychologically) and trying to make use of the knowledge of botany, philosophy and skills to survive in an environment that you think no one will ever survive.
MARTIAN is a movie about Mark Watney, an astronaut and botanist. Mission to Mars was successful and all the crews landed on Mars evidently and they were able to build their Martian laboratory and assembled their Martian truck and solar panels to keep the solar power energy working giving electricity, heating and air conditioning whatever energy power to survive in cold, barren red planet. While the crews are busy gathering some artifacts, collecting anything that is on the Martian soil, suddenly a chaotic dust storm led them hurrying up in panic to their space ship and up they go in space even without one crew who was left behind down on martian land surface. Was that astronaut too slow to run up high the ladder of that space ship and save his life? Well, you have to find out for yourself what happened to that one crew who was left behind and what he did to save his own life without any help from the rest of the crews who were frightened of the dust storm. What happened could be a blessing in disguised and obviously, it turned out that music, optimism, believe and faith in yourself, in your own intuition, guts and natural instinct including knowledge and rigid training for astronaut's life and survival skills can do wonders. Right! Don't confuse intelligence with education. Think of babies or infants of a pregnant woman and how these unborn infants managed to survive inside the womb of a WOMAN.
The story could be science -fiction but it also deals with astronomy, physics (gravity) and mathematical equation. But God knows, maybe we are probably in Jupiter and all the moons of Jupiter are planets.
There's a mundane search for God and where is God? Did somebody mentioned about God in this movie? Religion without science is blind. Men of Science or rather highly superior intelligent are atheists that God maybe existed at the time of Noah to Abraham up to the time of Jesus Christ to the sci-fi belief of Superman and dinosaurs ... but that's only part of the Great Evolution and GOD the unseen, invisible, almighty, SuperduperGreat Being is a Great Spirit that lives within us, it's like a never ending forever carbon, a part of our well-being to exist as in we never die, we are just being atomized when life expires on one dimension, another life exists to another dimension then to the next dimension. We evolved and GOD the Father also evolves in His own powerful and meaningful ways. And that is so deep!

Sunday fever
Oh what horrible days here at the lovely enchanted island with four seasons to choose from within the period of 365 days. At present time the backyard and neighbor's backyard is suffering its soggy, wet and muddy site that is even hard to look at it. Stupid rain, snow, frost led to that kind of nasty surface and you wish spring time is here. I hate to tell you that when it's springtime which is short season at this island and long hot summer months are longer better to have this kind of weather... wet and soggy. Summer time in this part of the world is super hot with super heatwave and there'll be forest fires again just like last year. No way! I hate wildfire. A country with vast reserves of gas and oil resources should not have wildfires. You must control the weather and or climate as much possible at all cause. Well this matter has been in the world news on and on and that's always a cause for concern every year. Yup, every year!!!! As if you don't know and as if you are in denial.
Because of this non-stop annoying bout with never-ending unpredictable weather, up and down control of temperature which cause headache, stubborn cough and colds, worse is flu and what else? For the most vulnerable, the handicapped and people with heart ailment and cancer-stricken patients the onset of sudden change of temperature can cause the inevitable comatose or death.
Right now I'm suffering from severe headache due to that kind of heating. Adjusting to heat and that HACE syndrome? Have that know-how challenge of the concept of reinforcement. Maybe watch beautiful movies or funny comedy shows, perhaps go shopping, purchase goods that will keep me happy including sweet Swiss chocolate? Inhale, exhale. Breathe... yeah to breathe freely.
Maybe watch Bruce Willis' death defying stunts "Live Free or Die Hard" movie, later. That's how we are entertained in the island aside from those variety of sports games that are on and off on different TV Channels. Now you know why Mr. Trump has better chance of winning the Presidential election it's because of his personal way of providing ENTERTAINMENT. Sure he is not boring! He doesn't have that PR side of cutting annoying side of his personality unlike other leaders who are hiding their bad side or dark personality. Who would have known that at one time in History when a president smokes too much like he is likened to an open chimney when he smokes but nobody knows that because dark sides of country's leader is always been omitted or hidden to the public. At one time in History that once there is that president who keeps cursing and all that came out from his mouth is fowl language but nobody knows that because as usual dark side was hidden for public scrutiny. Oh well, a president should be open about his true personality, true identity and attitude whether he is Darth Vader or Lucas Skywalker. We all know that a President is the man who leads a country to entertainment. He is the coach, the gamer, the banker, the pitcher, always the LEADER in everything making lots of money (finance) in creating business and employment for the country. He leads the exportation and importation. He must be all around, cook and manager. He doesn't need to ask his staff what to do and what's next because all the tasks are concentrated on his goal, aim and purpose. PEOPLE like to be ENTERTAINED. Did the former US Pres. George Bush, Jr. entertained us? You bet he is a total entertainer! The focus of entertainment in the world is U.S. only. He put America on top of the Global World. It was the Stealth era of the Bush era, considering Stealth fighter planes are of extra-terrestial origin.

FOOD & Budget
This time I cooked Malaysian chicken wings. Let's pretend we are in holiday in Malaysia and having that delicious Malaysian chicken wings.
For us to have lunch or dinner outside will cost $50.00 at Wendy's or A&W's while it we have dinner at Moxie's it will cost us $140.00 if we dine in at Chinese Restaurant for (Smorgasbord) $ 17 or $ 19/plate multiply it to 5 (members of the family) = $95 + Beverages = $120
Let say you dine in at the Chinese restaurant for 7 days, ordered from smorgasbord dinner for family of 5. $120 x 7= $840. Wow for 7 days? Only dinner?
Staying at home and cook food according to what's available from the fridge or freezer is the best to conserve and be thrifty? How long a $1,000 worth of groceries will last? Maybe one week or Maybe two weeks of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Great for big family. For two people, a couple will probably have lots of savings when they dine outside. It wont be costly for them to eat outside. Your choice? My choice! The food on the table is the choice of the Cook.

Unhappiness towards the low price of gas and oil in Canada? But you never think about how much you have to pay for your electric bill. BC Hydro bill is super high (rate) here in BC. No matter how much you save and do the helpful tips on energy consumption. I don't know why, maybe it's really cold here in Canada and heating the house costs so much during winter season.
Lucky for those who won the Powerball ticket in the US. I wonder if the winners are Americans or Canadians. Who could be the next millionaires?
Today, the 14th of January is the feast of the Black Nazarene. It would be the worst traffic congestion again and how many will do the penance or penitence and how many will suffer? The feast in Quiapo is known the world over for its absolute no gap condensed group of thousands to probably hundred thousands of people, maybe the devotees will exceed to millions queueing to touch the hands, body, face and head of the patron saint of Quiapo, the Black Nazarene whom the Roman Catholic devotees are willing to be a part of their pilgrims no matter how they would be injured in reaching out for their extreme religious practices.
There are too many ways on how you could be a penitent: Paying obligations such as paying taxes (GST & PST) for every goods and services when other people in other countries do not pay their tax only when their income probably reach P100,000/month and if they have 5 to 10 children then they don't pay any tax. Buying lottery tickets everyday in Canada that's penitence. (from Government owned Lottery Corporation). We are penitents here in Canada because we struggle when the climate is super HOT and super COLD. We don't queue for long Catholic procession and we don't light up candles and hold it with your hand for the long duration of the procession for 4 hours. We don't wreck our shoes, sandals on the long procession and we dodn't complain about bunions and swollen feet and legs for the long walk that exceeds 3-4 hours depends on the catholic priest where the procession will proceed. Penitence here in Canada is about PAYING TAX every time you shop. You can smell the gas or your fart if you want if that's your kind of being a penitent. In other countries, radon is more terrifying than any kind of gas, so one of my neighbors named his dog Radon.
Being here in front of the computer is also a kind of penitence because we can always feel the radiation but you just wont like to admit it. You keep denying it for the past ten years. Imagine you are in denial for ten years that you are living and breathing RADIATION!!!!!!! Wow! How about FALLOUT?
I'm still alive so LIFE's probably GOOD...sometimes.

Avantages & Disadvantages of Devaluation Of Money and Commodity
Who do you think benefit from the LOW PRICE OF OIL and GAS? Everyone of us benefit from the low price of oil and gas especially if you owned vehicles: cars and trucks. Do you have a yacht? Boats and seadoos? Do you travel everyday from your house to your workplace? Do you ride trains, ferries, barge, motorboats and planes? Do you travel everyday? Good for you! If the price of gasoline and oil is low then the airfare will be lowered or at least more affordable for the travellers.
At winter time, gas is much needed if you have fireplace. Gas stove and oven... I know so many Canadians used gas stove and oven. Restaurants used gas instead of electric stove/ovens. Their homes are powered by gas(more than electricity). Generators are powered by gas. Over populated countries can't manage to provide 100% source of power that GAS for their GENERATORS must be supplied frequently. If the gas price is low then it's great for those who benefit from gas. You must be happy not sad or depressed. Although for the exporters, it's not a profitable way to export gas when the price is that low as in $20/barrel? That's almost giving-away your profit. That's charity!!!!! Horrendous!
Now if your kind of oil is the Oilers and you think hockey is the only game that makes money then what the hell you are deceiving people from your nonsense news?

For the Filipinos who want to travel to Philippines? The value of the C$ is not a good time to travel anywhere because of the low value of C$. It would be better for tourists or immigrants from other countries to avail of the low value of C$. So what's this brouhaha going on? There'll be another Olympic Games for this year 2016 and it will be held in Brazil. Just so, you know that this kind of situation already happened in the past that the "devaluation and inflation " is more prevalent for the time being and it wont stay forever!

Fragrance Sure To Stay Longer Forever
The bottles of perfumes above are mostly gifts from my husband and from my sister and nieces.
The only bottle of perfume that I bought for myself is Versace and Cacharel
"Anais anais"
My choice of perfumery is not about the price. You can have the most expensive perfume and yet gave you the most painful experience of contact dermatitis then you must as well throw them away. The most important is the sweet scents and most likely no allergic reaction that will compromise my health.
Then last Christmas, I received another bottle of fragrance, this time it's Purple Lilac, LILAS mauve - eau de toilette by Yves Rocher. So far, this perfume doesn't bother my skin. There's no allergic reaction so it's okay. I love it. The fragrant smell of lilac is very evident and long-lasting, fresh and captivating.

Truth Be Told
Waking up so early at a time when members of my family are still sleeping is not my ritual. I want to go to bed and sleep again but I decided it's best to just watch TV and see for myself the latest news and weather forecast.
I had a nightmare that's why. I couldn't go back to sleep and then have the continuation of the nightmare. No way! And you said, "that's baloney!!!!"
Unbelievable but it's true. It happened most of the time when I had unconscious dreams or nightmares, well duh, all dreams and nightmares are unconscious.
I attended an early morning mass on TV. It's a Catholic mass! Just so you know I am a baptized Roman Catholic. I was very religious, once until I read the whole complete Holy Bible... Let me tell you > It is when you are very religious, devoted to the scriptures and you keep on praying that's the time when demons and devils prey on you. It's true! You can ask the many priests, servants of God, the vicar of Christ and Jesus Christ... they knew, they've been victims of the devils and demons.

CHANGE and ChAIN of COMMAND
Today's one of those very interesting day to stay at home because of so many free movies to watch on TV. No wonder TELEVISIONS are very indispensable tool for entertainment. It would be catastrophic not to have TV in the living room or in the bedrooms and other parts of the house. TV viewing is not only entertaining but it's a tool for news, information, and offer a wide and large knowledge that seldom you can read from books and magazines. Well, just like what your computer is known for to do what you want to know, TV was in the first place the machine that first gave you what you need to know in so many amazing ways. Its value is so important.
It would be nice to watch the movies in the big cinema with wide screen but you can have bigger sized TV (wide screen size maybe 70") and feel the convenience, relax while you watch at your own home.
So what's really the big deal anyway? When it gets so boring in the internet world, watch TV and relax and you'll never know what you can learn from the TV shows or Movies available on your TV screen channels. ONLY if you are not working. WORKING to earn wages is of course first priority.
For the time being, I was able to watch the old movie "Olympus Has Fallen." I watched it again at 12 noon because I was unable to see the very beginning why the President's wife died and why the Presidential guard was demoted and disgraced from his job in the Secret Service. Really, to better understand a situation you have to be there from the very beginning to know the details. You have to be alert and attentive. Always pay attention to whoever is talking or having conversation. Listen for crucial dialogue so that you wont miss the most important cause, problems and why it happened that way. Why certain stories do not make sense or what these group of people are fighting for whether it's justified or sort of a terrorist threat and terrorist attack is not valid. This movie is so intense and politically motivated and should be admitted as a movie intended for all students of Political Science, students who would like to study Law and Diplomacy and what could be at stake. To better understand the freedom and rights of every individual whether you worked for Higher Office or just plain Jane Doe, the movie tackles heroism and bravery, loyalty and compromises. Before the end of the movie, they were all hailed as HEROES!
If that's the White House, one thing for sure the White House needs an overhaul. It needs to be rebuilt with the best of touch that a palace needs. My God! Hotels are better and in good shape than the house of the President? The house of Hollywood movie stars look more expensive and sophisticated than the White House. Their furniture are in bad shape, old and ruggedly in bad shape. It's more like a dog house. No pun intended. It's a movie!!!!!! The WHITE HOUSE should be a Queenly or Kingly a house of grandeur and style. Underneath the House was an old stairs from the time of Abraham Lincoln? Hmm, that's scary! Okay, okay...it's a movie! FGS! Why I'm so sensitive about such situation. I think the movie deals with finding the truth on who's who has the secret passwords to the secrets and the President looks like an "alien." LOL. J/K
No pun? The Koreans proved the Americans that there's nothing on top of the ceiling or sky. The secret is down there. Underground. Everybody knows that. What's up there is the sky, the air, the clouds, and the chemistry of all the + and - particles, charges whether there'll be lightning, ice, snow, flurries, water and water vapor. That what could hit the front windshield of the vehicle driven by the guard is a sharp frozen icicle from the arc of the bridge. Or it could be one of those satellites' debris from the sky. Who knows? Only the author of OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN knew his own book and its story. They could have just drive slowly and safely on the bridge because it's slippery and icy on that part of the bridge. Paying attention to the road's signals and info could have help too. But that's what the story is all about. It was written to bring about change.

Saint Bernadette, Martyr & Saint
She was called stupid, slow and timid. She had asthma, sickly and modest. People in her community bullied her to no end because she is that shy girl who simply can't fight back. Who's that girl?
MARIE BERNADETTE SOUBIROS, was born in France on January 7, 1844 and according to those who heard her cry at her baptismal, she could be a naughty girl. Was she? Bernadette's parents were poor, she was unschooled and her own way of entertaining herself and the people around her is telling stories about the mysterious lady that she saw at the cave or grotto. Her visions made her the talk of the town, and stories had reached the Church up to the Vatican in Rome. Her faith has reached so many faithfuls trying to be devoted, hopelessly devoted by following the standard of her faith. Many believed her religious devotion and stories of the Lady in White and Blue that they thought what she saw was the Virgin Mary and they thought her message has something to do with the "mysteries of the Holy Rosary." The long waiting lead them to purchase Bernadette's photographs which sold for a penny/photo. The little girl whom they bullied made the Lourdes, France rich and famous, for how many billions of candles, rosaries and catechist's prayer books, and paraphernalias they sold to the devotees? That's billion dollars investment! How many queue to see the grotto and prayed, knelt on the ground, pray and offer their blessings knowing they will also be blessed in return. Miracles, so many miraculous healing, prayers were answered and what else could be the healing power bestowed upon Bernadette or the healing power from the grotto that everyone, folks from different parts of the world will travel far and wide and visit the mysterious grotto in Lourdes, France so that they can be cured. And why the lonely devoted Bernadette succumbed to death when she suffered and afflicted with tuberculosis? Isn't that supposed to be forever when you believed in God, you never perish but will have eternal life? Why of all that she is, faithful and honorable have to endure death just like anybody else, just like any mortal human being? On April 16, 1879, Bernadette died. However, too many million believers thought she is a Saint and to find that out, her body was exhumed and they discovered that her body has no sign of decay. A beautiful living dead inside a crystal coffin. On December 8, 1933 she was raised to Sainthood.

Joan of Arc's Day
It's no secret that today is Joan of Arc's birthday. Joan is the first female military in France. Joan is a saint. But first she was hailed as "heroine" for saving million of lives in the longest battle with their enemies. Joan was born in France on January 6, 1412 although she is a warrior and a saint still she was not able to stop the execution of her death ( May 30, 1431). Joan was a visionary with E.S.P. but her special gift was extraordinary and unknown that time in her generation that the skeptics regarded her as "witch" instead of being a saint or gifted. And you know what the French and the ancient people do with the witch and sorcerers in her time? They tied them on the pole and surrounded the victims with piles of firewood and set the suspected witch or witches on fire... and that's what happened to Joan. Tragic death lead to many miraculous occurrence and circumstances that Joan of Arc was actually a Saint devoted to one and only God and her religious visions are attributed to her devotion and honorable faith.
Do we have Joans in our time? There are probably many witches and sorcerers in our time but who cares? We can only see them on Halloween wearing costumes. It's a fun-filled celebrations of a different tradition of the Golden Harvest. It's a childrens' festival other than that it's nothing sort of fairy tales but you know some ghouls and goblins bad and notorious making lives miserable for the good and righteous causing so much troubles for mankind.
I don't care if you are a witch for as long as your magic is good not bad who are we to stop magic from its mysterious sleight of hand passing the cup to the righteous?
Medicine can be attributed to the power of witches and sorcerers long time ago. It is their creative thinking, hardworking hands and concoction that lead to the creation of wines, gin, alcoholic beverages, ethyl alcohol, sulfur ointment, antibiotic, and many pharmaceutical drugs, cough syrup and medicines. In our time, these "witches" are known as pharmacists. Hard to believe? To see is to believe.

Sub-conscious State?
Dude, it didn't snow outside. I was waiting for the snowfall but alas! No snow at all. Blah! Number 5 arrived, sorry Number 4. You could sing Mambo Number 5 if you want and there will be no snowfall at our place.
I could be located where the " large carrier wants me to carry on." The carrier so large similar to the movie "2012."
Being disappointed of their weather prediction, I cooked ham and egg-mushroom omelette or you can call it fritatta for breakfast. I wish not to have breakfast but my kids need not to diet.
Coffee (Tim Horton's brand) again for the second time around.
Yeah, people! We can't stop the Rio de Jan. You wont be able to stop Joan of Arc either. Then the proverbial saintly Saint Bernadette and you will keep on praying the rosary. LOL OMG! Tell me the secret... do you have a secret? Secret! Secret!!

YO' Number 4. It's the 4th of January 2016
January 4, 2016 - Monday. My husband went to work early today without having breakfast, just hot brewed coffee. Early morning breakfast is not his thing anymore. I have to remind myself that I will only have cup of coffee and just a small piece of pineapple-carrot cake without icing for breakfast. I will start my diet. I will try, I know that I wont succeed in this dieting ritual but just so you know that I will try and there's no harm in trying.
It's time to keep the Christmas tree ornaments and Christmas lights back to the boxes and to the storage. It's time to get rid of the tree to be collected for wood chips. Oh my, the word chips made me feel like "I've got to have chips!" You know that crunchy chips with sour dill dressing or sour onion dip." Hmmm...
You know the good thing about this winter season is that we didn't use much of the fireplace so that means our gas consumption is low. We didn't adorn Christmas lights around the house so that also less bill and energy bill is less. Wise energy conservation which means less bills to pay.
Do I have to start with my Spring cleaning because it looks like Spring time already! In January??? What's going on? I know it's so strange in this part of the island. I'm not convince that I viewed the Weather Channel and their weather forecast is "Sunny tomorrow and it will snow." Really? We'll have to find that out for tomorrow, Tuesday January 5, 2016.

The Holidays are over, thank God! We didn't receive much snow on the ground and that's unusual for us. I feel terrified. lol. It's surprising eh? What's going on? Then we had our New Year's dinner at my sister's house and I was bit surprise that they have snow on their front yard. Bizarre! Global warming and El Ninio is very evident in this part of the world. We live few blocks away from them and how could they have snow?
Well, it snowed just a little bit but on just one spot, half part of the backyard. How ridiculous the weather eh? I can see the snowflakes or flurries falling only the left side of the yard and nothing on the right side. Is there a huge tent or giant balloon up in the sky? Or the clouds on the right side has no snow what could be the mystery.
Mt. Washington is probably covered with snow and they should have snow until now until February so that they can make lots of money from their holiday resort. Keep the seasonal workers earned wages until spring time. As you probably know by now that employment here at the island is sort of seasonal, alternate job-shifting for winter then summer jobs. Six months employment for winter and six months employment for summer time. At least that's a lot of help for hardworkers.
Every morning since two weeks ago, my husband noticed so many birds flying around at the vacant lot at the backyard and few times seen these group of birds resting on the fence. When I mentioned "so many" and in flocks of these birds, you have to imagine the birds from the movie of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds."
Those flocks of strange birds rested on one particular part of the fence and days later, look at the fence...
Other group of birds flew away and that's flock of what is left from hundreds of birds on the ground.
Yes dude, they are birds not drones. Sometimes they acted like they are drones for whatever reason.
Terrible! The birds or the very strange mystifying wind did that awful works of evil.

Old people tend to be more religious and charismatic when they reached the prime age of old age simply because of the vast knowledge and experienced they gained through their life time.
Suddenly I realized that I was more than religious, charismatic and seriously involved in the Church when I was very young because my parents are religious, my grandmother was truly devoted about religion when she was still alive. Deep rooted religious rites and customary traditional religious pageantry and rituals. Then meeting people with different spiritual denominations whose faith are more uplifting to higher consciousness made me think that who we really are worshipping in the first place? Hm, we all should have ONE religion only and maybe our world would be in peace and harmony. Maybe there'll be no war and rumors of war. It could be a wonderful Utopia, enchanting and organized perfectly. We can all just dream dreams. That everything's just a movie, you breathe to know your ALIVE. )))))

WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR! 2016! OMG! Let us hope for the best. Wishing my family with a whole lot of love, much happiness and good health. Good health equals great wealth.
Let us prosper, go progressive. Year 2016 will be a new year of hope, good luck and wise decision. Learn from the mistakes of the past and use them to strengthen your goal and sense of purpose in life. Forget about the past because it wont help you in the future. Forget about people who hurt you and caused you harm and injury. As much as possible better sue them.
Throw away the nonsense, non-essential garbage that made you an outcast and learn to clean up. Follow the guidelines in the Kyoto protocol instead of the latest protocol done in other countries which lead to the great flood which depressed so many last Christmas. Let year 2016 brings the latest of the news not news from the past recycling these old rotten news as new. Be creative. Be respectful of the works of others. Be a workaholic. It's the skills that matter. You have lots of skills you wont be out of work. Work with pay and volunteers should be determined by credential schools. For the lobbies? I should be one of them... but how can I? I worked without pay! I'm not a superhero, I'm just a conscientious human being. I love my country. I love where I am right now. I love my family.

Let us prosper, go progressive. Year 2016 will be a new year of hope, good luck and wise decision. Learn from the mistakes of the past and use them to strengthen your goal and sense of purpose in life. Forget about the past because it wont help you in the future. Forget about people who hurt you and caused you harm and injury. As much as possible better sue them.
Throw away the nonsense, non-essential garbage that made you an outcast and learn to clean up. Follow the guidelines in the Kyoto protocol instead of the latest protocol done in other countries which lead to the great flood which depressed so many last Christmas. Let year 2016 brings the latest of the news not news from the past recycling these old rotten news as new. Be creative. Be respectful of the works of others. Be a workaholic. It's the skills that matter. You have lots of skills you wont be out of work. Work with pay and volunteers should be determined by credential schools. For the lobbies? I should be one of them... but how can I? I worked without pay! I'm not a superhero, I'm just a conscientious human being. I love my country. I love where I am right now. I love my family.
