National Arbor Day

Friday today and it's National Arbor Day. Did you plant a "tree" today? Students are probably asked to plant seedlings or young trees around their schools or in places where these particular trees have to grow.

We planted a Japanese maple tree in front of the house in Vermont last year. We left that house and moved to another house which at present time has all the trees because it's a forest at the backyard.

I like trees. I'm one of those tree huggers. Go ahead people use your computers and stop using paper ok? lol. Save your trees and breathe...

There are many huge giant trees in Cathedral groves but no picture to show right now.

 

 

 My husband's family "once" owned a logging camp during World War II up to year 1972 and those precious logs were then bought and exported to build houses, so many houses, buildings,  boats, and electrical posts. There are many uses of trees and its resources. Logs, wood, lumber all of these wood products have million of uses and they brought employment to millions of people especially for the pulp, paper and lumber industry. Pulp mills and sawmills were then the industry that brought Canada to be one of the most developed countries in the world because of  its natural resources.Too bad that many of those pulp mills are already closed at present time because you know we can't ax all of those trees all at once. The good thing about here in BC is for every fallen tree, at least 5 young trees are being planted on the ground. Make it 10 young trees or 10 seedlings for every one fallen tree.

 

 I told you before that my father-in-law Robert James Turner was not only a smart businessman but also an expert woodcarver. Shown above is the photo image of his wooden wall clocks. He also made wooden jars and wooden bowls.

 I guessed if you have enough wood and you have proper tools you can better develop your hobby of woodworking and woodcarving.

 

 Fortune plants and palm trees? In this island?? Why not? I think we can plant these tropical trees in Vancouver island provided that the climate change will be approved. Otherwise you can have those trees inside your house.

 I was reading BF Skinner's autobiography and the many theories and all the wonderful things we learned from his experiments. You wont believe that you and probably members of your family were subjected to BF Skinner's BBT ( Black Box Theory), his well endowed thinking which you think is weird and you think, actually some of us thought he was a weirdo sort of but wait till you read his invention of an incubator intended for premature babies. Skinner's idea of utopian society and the many strange things about inventing microwaves. Well, you have microwaves at home right? I first thought it was Einstein who invented microwave but the idea actually came from Skinners. Who knows who is the real inventor, if somebody sold the idea or has stolen the idea. Do we care?

Anyway, I don't know if one of you still has that old Apple Software about "It's Elementary My Dear Apple." You probably had it when you were young. Duh, if you were from a rich family in the 1980's and you had computers then you are aware of this concept. Maybe only Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Matthew Broderick (WAR GAMES), NORAD and NASA had it.

My Elementary years not having a computer but we have minds way back then. We think and we memorized important concepts and theories.

My Dear Aquarius, WATER is the most important natural resources on planet earth. I don't care about anything but WATER is so important. Without Water there's no air. Without Water there's no living things and there's no human around.

Easter Sunday 2017

Yes it is EASTER SUNDAY (April 16, 2017) and tomorrow is EASTER MONDAY (April 17, 2017). Double Easter celebration. What's the point of celebrating the resurrection of Christ? There are so many points and ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus. To fully understand the miracle of birth and life after death is a matter of faith and belief, sometimes its customary according to what you have learned from Bible Study or the faith and religion you were born with, otherwise it wont stick to your mind what and why we have to celebrate it. Others wont do anything nor ignore the special holidays and the significance of such Holy celebration. It's really up to you.

However, it is about miracles and how you are touched and how you are affected in a way that you wont understand but you can feel it that makes us believe. I told you before it's a matter of self-fulfilling prophecy on your part...  in my part. Everyone has a calling of such "miracle that you wont be able to ignore nor even fathom because it is so deep." Ocean deep? Beep-beep! No beef, we'll have turkey.

Let say it's another day of work. My husband used his spare time this Sunday to help another person meet somebody and I first thought in that given time he will just had lunch with that person but no. He came home at lunch time and had lunch with us. Then he worked on Sunday, cutting grass at the Village so that he wont do it tomorrow and so that minimize his work to work on another apartment. He came home at a time when the turkey in the oven is roasted to perfection. Well this time it was me who prepared the stuffing and placed the dressed, over-stuffed turkey in the oven which he usually prepared by himself. Anyway the turkey end up better than his own turkey. lol. Big dinner for us, just us, my husband, daughter and son. My eldest son is living with his two aunts in the mainland. I hope he is having a good time there and helping with the chores if he's not busy with his studies.

The AIR You Breathe

OXYGEN is the air we breathe unless of course if you fart and pass the different kind of gas where we exist. Obnoxious gas.

What are the type of gases that surround our planet Earth? Let me tell you Earth is cover with:

Air, Helium, Nitrogen, Freon, Carbon dioxide, Water vapor, Hydrogen, Natural gas.

Is there any other form of gas that exist in our planet? Tell me or kindly inform us.

Air we breathe is the natural air or oxygen that the billion of trees exhale and carbon dioxide is the gas that is absorbed by the trees. It's the web of life. Trees and human are co-dependent to exist. It is with these billions of growing trees and vegetation that gravity exist.

Nitrogen is needed in our land for the plants, trees and whatever organisms in order to grow and exist.

Helium is the gas for balloons and inflatables. Do we need it in space? Maybe but just few percentage of it.

Freon? Do you have refrigerators?

Water vapors exist because of pressure and humidity.

Hydrogen exist because of water. Another word for water.

Natural gas is always been contained or controlled through pipeline. Or else...

Why Hitler use gas as chemical warfare? When he used gas for the cure of his asthma! You wont believe that gas was used to eliminate lice (louse) and bugs. Not much water wayback then?

There's another kind of gas out there... it's called EGO!
Double your ego and the result is superego? lol

Believe What You Can Understand

Why the EASTern civilization is always ahead of the day? Just because the SUNshines in the EAST? Could it be that Jesus Christ was born in the Eastern part of the world? That the SUN was originally shines in that area. But the sun has been lowered to star already. How many stars now? 50?

JESUS CHRIST is an Eastern Man and was born in Israel. Jesus Christ is the SON of GOD actually HE is the SUN.

How could that be? The SUN is some kind of LIGHT. Heh, don't want to explain that to you or we might fight and you will slap the Holy Bible to me and tell me about the beginning of time, the land before time as in the beginning and the LIFE that never ends. Science without religion is lame and Religion without science is blind. Okay, Einstein that's Physics. We can't repeat the Vernal Equinox and say dude, there's another Vernal Equinox... here take the satellite with you because it's so dark at your place.

Because the Eastern region is advance in their daytime programming and we the people here in Canada is so late when it comes to "life giving process" whatever that means to you.

It's only Saturday here in Canada and it's only 9:51 AM. It's already night time in Philippines and other parts of the Asian countries. Few more hours and it's already SUNDAY and it's PALM SUNDAY people.

What is PALM SUNDAY and why the Roman Catholic denominations have to celebrate this wonderful holiday? You know what? Palm Sunday is the triumphant celebration of Jesus Christ's entrance to the ARCh of Jerusalem and He was welcomed whole heartedly by the Jews and Palestines. The people waved their palms of green leaves (palms from coconut trees) and some of them laid the palms on the ground where Jesus walked after the long journey. However, in the picture down below he was riding the donkey as an image signifying humility.

Let me greet you people an advance HAPPY PALM SUNDAY! Let us pray and hope that our lives will be filled of peace and happiness and all the unhappiness and unsavory racism, bullying and the many maltreatment of people should STOP these bullies are capable of anything should be given the necessary acts of God.

Be Prepared To Be Attacked By Trolls

Good that the weather is cooler this time. It was hot yesterday and the bugs are coming inside the house. Yuck! I don't mind the big bugs but the noizziums are the obnoxious ones. These noizziums are so tiny creatures and bite so cruel they are bloodsuckers and you don't want to know what illness they will create. Para silang hanip!!!!! I don't know where these noizziums came from. Grabe! These creatures are worst than mosquitoes.

You wont have this problem if you live in the city but living in the rural area, near the forest or in farmlands or the golf course there where those noizziums are. They attacked humans especially if they smell so good, if you wear perfume or your skin is covered with sweet scented lotion or body talc.

I remember what Shania Twain said on TV Show interview on how she protect her skin from the attack of bugs is to cover your body with mud. Really? Or do not wear any scent. No lotion, no perfume, no baby powder, don't even use shampoo for your hair.

Anyway, that's how to have low profile or what? How about showing your profile on higher level?
Well, how about AMAZING RACE? You have these professionals military men and women, firefighters, cops, and an investment broker contestants? You have seen on how they race to Panama from L.A. and search for the A. R. envelopes to find clues. Were they in Panama? It seemed that they landed in P.E. I. Then the race continued to Sao Paulo, Brazil where contestants where hoisted down from a tall building to clean the windows. Wow! That's scary! Your work is already very risky being in the line of duty and then you have to clean windows hanging from a skyscraper. Okay that's nothing right? You have seen SWAT teams who were in special operations and their job is risky fighting crimes with armalites on hand and you don't know whether they will survive or what but cleaning windows hanging from tight ropes? Weird! MILLION DOLLARS is lots of money! $$$$$$$ to be given away and maybe because life is hard and earning minimum wage is sort of crying game.

I know, employment here in Canada and the US is not a laughing matter when there's not much available employment. Economy is that bad eh?

Watch ABANDONED television series and you'll find out what's really behind all the fuzz with so many people and why so many are desperate and depressed. You have to be there where those LOCATIONS are and why so many are in despair and why those communities were abandoned in the first place and why so many MILLIONS ARE UNEMPLOYED!

Watch THE WALKING DEAD and find out what Georgia looks like. Why Immigration in the US is very strict and why you are not allowed to enter America. GO TO CHINA and find out how RICH THEY ARE! They are the NEW CIVILIZED WORLD after all it's the CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION!

A message flashed before my computer screen " FIND A DOMAIN."

Wow! That's crazy! This is the first time that I saw a message like that in my blogging composition page site. Is my computer being attacked? That's crazy! Virus? Bugs?

This is my blog for so many years!!!!! I had this blog since Blogger (BlogSpot) was founded. I am the author of my blogs and I am being victimized by these hackers whose got nothing to do but tried to infiltrate and victimized us here through the internet. I am not the only victim here, so many blog-writers were victimized already and the Google-Blogger can't do anything. Something wrong with that eh?

Rogue: Rebel With A Cause

When all work at home is done and got nothing to do what else is next? Relax, watch TV and if there's nothing new and it's really boring which is the usual boring day... it's time to watch movie or rent a video.

There is that $1 movie good for 2 days : SUICIDE SQUAD.

But then on another side of the screen is the ROGUE ONE starring Felicity Jones. Well, better watch the Academy award best actress instead. I like her, she is multi-talented. She was so great in her portrayal of a good wife of "Stephen Hawking" (portrayed by Best Actor Eddie Redmayne) in the movie "THEORY OF EVERYTHING." Then her portrayal of a doctor "friend" of Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon in the movie INFERNO. There is always something mysterious about Felicity Jones and you must see it in every movie she's in. She acted on every movie with ease or without effort as if the part or role she is doing is just tailored fit for her.

So, I watched ROGUE ONE: Star Wars Story. My son Ty watched it in its premiere opening months and months before and it's time for me to watch it and how I find the story so simple compared to other Star Wars sequel it's probably because too many sequels already. In this movie, Felicity's role is the daughter of two scientists whose "residency" was somewhere in the planet Saturn. Then the villains came to abduct them and bring them to another planet or galaxy. However, her parents let her escape and then the story starts from there and she met some "Badland's characters" droid and well fighting scenes and explosions here and there. Hate to see those big fishes the size of  giant botete whatever! If you want to see the movie for your own satisfaction then I recommend it to you available to rent on Optik TELUS for $6 only!

There is that "special mystery" in this story which the father of Jin was unable to say because her father died. Too bad eh? Yeah,  better listen to the dialogue!!!!! Right, I have to use ear phones now too or hearing aid. It happened most of the time when there's too much blasting and explosions. Selective hearing is the norms nowadays.

 

Wishing you can see Felicity Jone's beauty in the most amazing princess-like gowns and outfit just like

Princess Lea and Padme but her character is that of rebellious ready for fighting

to avenge or a revenge sort of what happened to her parents in the story.

Sunday Yesterday. Today Is Monday

 It was sunny gorgeous yesterday just look at the evidence up there. You wish it's always like that everyday... you wished! However at the island which is the "actual total drama island" situation and weather here varied differently almost everyday.

It's always adjustment to weather condition. It was sunny in the morning you are wearing summer light dress or tops and pair of short, short pants then suddenly batch of clouds covered the island and then from hot to warm then sudden flash of cold breezy air envelopes the atmosphere. So back to wearing sweater and pair of long pants.

 

 While my digital camera lens focus on what I could see outside of the fence towards the forest, a sudden commotion was heard and there the culprit, a black and white cat (mostly black fur) about to escape. Hello cat what are you doing down there? No berries yet there. The fence is once covered with berry vines  of all kinds, no fruit yet. Look at the fence, and the printed signs what's that? EVANS ? Evan Almighty? LOL. Wait at summer time and the fence will be full of trails, thorny vines and lushy leaves from these crawling berry plants probably blackberries and raspberries. Uhm,  what a coincidence that in previous two houses we had resided in  Greystone and Vermont there were black cats in the neighborhood who frequently visit our yard. This is the third time. Well, hope that this is a different black cat. Don't assume that the black cat keeps following us eh? Ha ha ha! That's totally strange isn't it? I'm not superstitious so black cat doesn't really bother me nor black cat scares me.

 

 Munggo for lunch. I first thought my husband would like that viand because I seldom cook it besides this kind of food is very nutritious.  I cooked munggo (Filipino viand) once in  6 months. Sometimes once in a year depends if I have a stock of mungbeans in our pantry. Easy to cook just saute' the following ingredients on your wok or stainless deep dish pan: cooking oil, 4 cloves minced garlic, half sliced onions, sliced 100 gms sliced pork, 2 cups of shrimps, add vegetables of your choice, add the boiled mungbeans, simmered on hot 2 cups of water.  Whatever! I hate giving directions on how to cook viands. WIN BY LOSING. Is that a code? Hmm, how you can put yourself to the test and many people already tried that in the past and  at present time. Right! My strategy works for so many people. So keep on reading. My strategies worked in workplaces, schools and universities. It might work too in other countries.

 

 And because the weather is in between hot and cold better spoil myself and my daughter with strawberry milkshakes. It's easy to make milkshakes just have all the necessary ingredients: fresh fruits (strawberry), fresh milk, ice cream, vanilla extract, ice cubes, and blender (Osterizer).

Then And Now

 Wow! Such a beautiful icy pond during winter of February 2017. It was like winter wonderland in that area at the backyard, outside the fence at the forest.

You can have snow white and seven dwarfs right there to frolic on such snowy pond.

However, when the snow melted... this is what it looks like down below on the photo image.

 

Yucky!!!! Oh my God! What the hell is that pond? What happened? The pond is now a swampy filthy pond with rotten logs and fallen branches of trees probably lots of moss and lichens. What could be in there? It could be a "pool" of creepy critters, mostly bugs, tadpoles, frogs, and mosquitoes. That wont pass as rice paddies. No way!

I would like to go there close to that site and smell the air. If its rotten egg-smell or odor then its radon infested. It could be leaking gas? Who knows?

 It's already April 2017 so it's officially Springtime and march to Summer?
