Puzzled and Confused?

Bakasyon na!

End of School Year today. Yehey! Now I'm trying to figure out what's the best game I could treat my child with today instead of those PSP and DS Lite.

Puzzles would be just a good idea to start with this morning after breakfast. While me....yes me attending to my own chores. DO I need to elaborate my chores? Maybe not. Same old rote or same old forsaken work a Mother always have in mind.

She's busy connecting the puzzles and I'm into inspecting her "paper works from school. Oh, her teacher has provided an extreme used of words by pointing out stock of words into "High-Frequency ." What are these? To them these words are "Spelling Demons." Great! I hope she wont split it with Inuyasha.

Uhm, I was overjoyed of how her teachers give "emphasis" and stressed and stretched simple words to a more meaningful, exorbitant but generous definition of WORDS. LMAO! I must have like the famous falsetto group of Bee Gees by frequently using and mentioning this common term or noun. I know the sarcastic bruja will notice that and she'll write it in her own blog for her friends to rant all day and night. Non-stop! That's how intriguing her blog. It wont be a surprise no more if she will have my name especially mentioned so that at least their laughing stock will ^ increase. Bwahhahahha! Yup, I have an extra sense perception. It's an "umbrella term, " a mushroom, a psi or a taco habanero fume that will let you quiver and freak out at the edge of your seat.

Who wont be happy and gay with that enormous amount of knowledge. Ngek! Hanep! Sarap manood ng "The Messenger" ah. What's on that wall? It can't be Dolly Madison and her legs about to come out from the wall. Hahhahahhaha!

Scheduled Outage at 3:00 PM. Oh darn! Yeap I've been darning so many times. Some of them I already sold at the Craft Sale. Next time it's gonna be Darna (Darna the fantasy superwoman or Darna - comics).

The Simple Plan

Just across the bridge on the left side of the road is the Campbell River Sportman's Store (2115 Island Highway, Cambell River, B.C.). It's a fish and tackle shop. All the supplies, gears and stuff you need for your favorite sports, camping, fishing, and hunting are in this shop. But of course before you go fishing make sure you have the license. Fishing license is available in this store. Sign up if you may.

Now you may think Anaheim has that fresh fish that you can smack for good. Wait till you see how big the fresh fish in the great outdoor of Campbell.

Loads of laundry from camping that my house is now called Washington DC. All the comforters, blanket, bedsheets and other linens, pillow cases need washing. The bright sunny days ahead keep cooperating with my housekeeping.

After all said and done, time to relax , watch my favorite shows on television and typed entries on my blogs.

What's for dinner? Probably something simple, healthy and nutritious. I am not on a diet. I eat different kinds of food. Being vegetarian is not my fad. I like leafy green vegetables once in a while. But only veggies for a meal is incomplete. I am not an anorexic yet. Besides lack of protein in your diet wont help you in anyways to your think tank.

This week is the last week of school at SG and school children are busy with their "review." How I remember my final exams in High School? I think my friends-classmates and I were exempted at the finals. Those students with below average grades were chosen to take the final exams and few others were there to take the exams because they are not contented with what they've got so as to upgrade their marks.

While here in Canada, it's the end of the School Year. In the Philippines June is the start of the School Year for the Filipino students. So vacation here we come. Thinking of what other tasks to do for the time being.

Sign Of All Signs

Campbell River Bridge

I don't care whether it's freezing cold here. I have to enjoy this while I can

So they both tried...
Whew! Brrrrrrr!! It's really cold here. The water is absolutely cold!

More pictures taken at the lake. I decided to join them swim on the lake's cold water. What the heck anyways. Call it a polar bear swim. Someone asked me if the "sandy beach" is a real sand...yes it is! The shore is made up of sand. The combi of a lake and sea feature on this site is quite impressive.

Entertainment

My daughter provided us with some entertainment. She's now a juggler!

Getting bored! My children decided to splash cold water unto each other. Running here and there. Swimming, and climbing up trees.

Woodpecker's Dream Tree

While we're busy fishing at the shore, we heard a weird noise from a bird. Actually that "bird" swoop close above where I am and flew on this tree (see picture). I rushed back to our tent and grabbed my camera so that I can snap a picture of this very strange colored red-head, black and white feather-bird. Turned out to be a woodpecker . I think the woodpecker saw me that he flew away. Darn!

And They Keep Catching Lots Of Fish

Recreational Camping Site

After the tent is all set up. After all the camping gears and stuff were unloaded and unpacked from the van, the fishing begins

Trying to capture the moon on this picture but the sky is still too bright that's why the moon cannot be seen on this photograph

Chores

My helpful kids took turns axing cedar for firewood.

Camp's Ready

As soon as we arrived, we built our tent right away.My kids took turns helping their Dad axed some firewood and had the bonfire ready.

There's no reflection on the water anymore. The mountains didn't provide us with "bottles" (imagery) because the surface of the lake is not that smooth and calm. The images I was seeing is just a ballpen on the left getting ink from a container at the right side of the lake. The noise of the waves keeps coming back and forth like sound waves raging like a hurricane. Anyways there's no hurricane it's just windy and cold. I should have to mention this that I felt a little tremor last night. I didn't tell anybody. That's probably a mild quake. Nothing to worry. It wont even make or appear on the richter scale. Why I'm the only one who felt it? Or they felt it too but hey we don't want to spoil this vacation. I know when there is an earthquake tectonic or seismic. Volcanic? Uhm, is there a hot spring here? Nah. So there's really nothing to worry.

There's no canoe, nor boat at the horizon. Unlike the first time we had our camping in this same site. I'd like to think it's because Friday the 13th. You know SuperNatural BC! O come on, just joking realizing my son is wearing his X-Waves sweat shirt that's why we are greeted with strange waves on this lake.

On our first camping we had two surprise visitors: A man and a woman in uniform. Both asked us if we had fishing license. They asked us about the quantity of fish we caught on this lake. "Do you have firearms?'" the Conservation Officer asked us.

"Firearms?." I asked him back while I was waving my turner on them because I was busy flipping burgers. "So, you are cooking, hmm...the officer looking at me. I snapped back, "Why?" "Are we not allowed to cook?" I think the officers felt embarrassed and just moved on when they cannot find any violations.

On our second camping holiday 3 visitors ( 2 men and a woman) came to visit us and they enjoyed catching trouts. Unfortunately they only caught small fish because they never extend their fishing rods at the middle of the lake. We shared some BBQs (pork, beef, chicken) and beer to our visitors.

Smile !

It was windy and wavy at the shore. It was part sunny and cloudy. Cooler breeze. Looking at the "sea-like feature" of this lake made me sketch the smiling sun at the sandy shore. How childish I am. But hey it does help bring out sunshine. Make my day a little brighter.

Plants At The Woody Area

Salal - the ornamental leaves commonly adorn fresh flowers at the flower shop to keep their boquet of flowers more zest, fresh, and alive. I have seen salal pickers from the woodland before and they sell these bunch of fresh salal to the flower shop owners for a generous amount of money. Hah! Good business eh?

Red berries or probably the checker berry. It can't be the Goose berries! Hahaha!

Along This Nature Trails

Along this "path" are the many rocks, mostly granites. And you know how expensive granites are once they are polished. They are shiny and sparkles because of its crystal and quartz content. Granites are hard rock and their specifically used as building materials. They are great for building post, counter tops, floor tiles and walls .

The big leaves of this skunk cabbage reminds me of the "kiping" (crispy crackers used for adornment during the fiesta or feast in Philippines esp. in Quezon province. The flowers of this plant are the first meal eaten by bears once they get out in the woods from hibernation. Skunk cabbage plants grow on watery swamp. I was thinking where "Master Yoda" is. Interesting!

Beside this giant old tree are the many ferns, grass and flowers native to that forest along Rock Bay Area.

I found this cave-like feature of an old tree trunk fascinating. I think that old tree is close to 500 years old. The area where I took this picture reminds me of one of the scenes in Jurassic Park, the movie about dinosaurs.

As The Day Goes By

Yeah, yeah, busy drawing some dinosaurs. That's my girl into her favorite hobby.

I have similar interest. I keep on doing the same thing all the time. I found my daily chores automated or routinary. Sometimes its boring. But when I have some new ideas, I never broadcast it right away. I have to hoard the data and informations until it gets in the airwaves.

Timing, coincidence or just extra perception. ESP? Or just chance?

Hilarious, funny or pure coincidental. But what's happening now is sort of repetition. Maybe it's because reincarnation and extra terrestials are really real. LOL!

Thinking Of What Could Have Been

I love JOE's Fresh Style outfit and accessories. Mind 'ya their clothes are affordable compared to some brand name clothing. Joe's clothing designs are also simple but impressive. Stylish and what more can I say their clothes are quite economically good for the budget. Besides their style is the IN thing. I'd rather have a collection. What'd you think?

Not too sunny today. Cooler breeze if you'll ask me.

Still, can't get over the Penguins - didn't make it to the Stanley Championship. I guess what I've been seeing was just a mirage. Better luck next time. Hmm...I wonder who won the Wednesday's 649?

How To Keep Busy

My daughter and I would probably be busy doing lots of handicrafts. That's if she is interested in sewing and beads making instead of swimming, puzzles, and playstation games.

How to keep the children busy? Let them cook their own breakfast in the morning. We'll try to do that comes summertime when school closed for vacation. No ifs not buts!
