 GREETINGS EVERYBODY!

It's that time of the month, first day of the eleventh month of November year 2020 and I would like to once again greet everyone who will celebrate their BIRTHDAYS, WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES, FESTIVITY, ENGAGEMENTS, BAPTISM, SHOWER PARTY, GENDER REVEAL PARTY and CELEBRATIONS OF ALL KINDS for people everywhere whether they are HEROES, SAINTS and ZEROES, losers, winners or not wishing them all a HAPPY NOVEMBER MONTH and may the LORD OUR GOD BLESS US and wish that we all survive this 2020 pandemic.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS:

November 1, 2020 - DST- DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME- Ends.  The night is longer and we have to adjust the time on our wrist watch, wall clock, stove/oven clock, microwave oven 's time. The time in your computer and TV automatically adjust to the regular time.  If we don't,  7 am looks and feels like midnight. Too dark. 

ALL SAINTS DAY. It's ALL SOULS DAY for some people. It is set to believe that wandering spirits and souls travel and make their journey fun and marvellous, sometimes creepy to their final destination. May eternal rest grant upon them. REST IN PEACE.

November 3, 2020 - US ELECTION (PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION).  It's the National Election Day for US PRESIDENTS. Candidates for REPUBLICAN PARTY: Donald John Trump for President and Mike Pence for Vice President. Candidates for DEMOCRATIC PARTY: Joe Biden for President and Kamala Harris for Vice President (Is she Vanessa Williams?) 

Looks like we're gonna be looking at Biden-Harris as Phil Hartman and Vanessa Williams for ZOMBIELAND TRIPLE TAP movie in the making eh? darn, look-alikes!

Blogging

 I have the right to change and replace my BLOG SETTING anytime, any day, in whatever mood I have in what ever pleases me. THIS IS MY BLOG! The readers has nothing to do with my blogs nor any blogs in the internet. THE BLOGS AT BLOGGER are owned by its AUTHOR or by the writers known as blogger or blogwriters. THE BLOGGER format is a version of personal diary. Whether the authors decided not to allow readers its not the readers problem. The readers or the non-authors had nothing to do with the format, setting and theme of the blogs...whatsoever!

So, if I changed my blog setting and background theme of my blogs then it is my sole responsibility and the readers got nothing to do with it.

No one should manage, edit or change, label,  distribute and made the blogs available for public or private  viewing of blogs except the AUTHOR OF BLOGS.

I don't think what I have written here is hard to understand. 

If my blog background photo has changed then I changed and replaced it. It's my photographs anyway.

For the past 3 months the photo background is the photograph above. I was  49 years old, taken in year 2012.

At present time this is the photograph background I uploaded for the theme of my blog. My photograph was also 8 years old now. 

 

People grow old. Every human being has to reach maturity, grow old and be responsible for their own doing, for their own action. Blogging is what makes me happy so be it.

Fortune Cookies

 Clowning around is not really my forte! I'm not good at entertaining other people just to make them laugh and have a good time.

Recently my husband went shopping, returned home with groceries. He didn't buy what's on my list of groceries to buy and he also brought home 3 fortune cookies. HTH he's got fortune cookies? Did he dine in at the local Chinese restaurant with somebody else? He said that it was from his male friend. Anyway, don't wanna nag about it further. 

One fortune cookie for my husband and one fortune cookie for my daughter.

I cracked open the fortune cookie given to me and the message: YOUR TALENTS ARE IN FINE SHAPE. UTILIZE THEM TO THE FULLEST.

Bougainvillea

 

At a time when I don't care about how I looked or what I'm wearing because my concern is to show off my pricey amazing bougainvillea that is now "one year old and five months." Would you believe that a tropical plant like this will grow in Canada. So, this is sort of a miracle. Four months of summer, lots of sunshine and the love and care devoted to this special plant make huge difference.

 

My husband would like another bougainvillea with purple flowers instead. He cannot find anywhere, unless if we order or import from other countries. OMG! I will just keep on waiting for Canadian Tire to import such plant, that's where we bought this plant anyway.

 

It's getting cold and right now, today, the weather temperature is only 2 C. That's why to protect our bougainvillea we have to keep it in room temperature, inside our home where it can survive Autumn and Winter.

Amazing Race

 Are we really too slow here in Canada? Because the braggarts said so! I don't know how slow or how fast a person or people in other country can do without resources. As far as I know based on my existence here in Canada for the past 28 years, Canadians are not really slow, idle or braggarts unlike so many other people in other countries. When it comes to education, job skills, talents, and over all abilities they are not far behind. They are not really showy or they are just plain humble and humility are far outstanding than most. It is so true when it comes with the sports they love.

Some people are really, really fast and what they eating right now are dust. That's what happened in the fast lane. Too fast, too furious and some of them are dead.

Slow down when it's time to slow down. Amazing race? Do you have kids? 

Having children is a matter of having a race. Seriously, it is what RACE is all about.

However, there is that race being played by many contestants in order to win huge sum of money. One of them of course is the popular television show AMAZING RACE. Once again, Amazing Race show will soon air and broadcasted and be seen on our TV. It's the race against time in different destinations around the world. Phil Keoughan's hosting this globally known Amazing Race in the U.S. While Jon Montgomery is the Amazing Race host for Canada. AMAZING RACE contest started last week and shown on TV, race from California USA to Trinidad & Tobago. The race to be continued this week and will be shown on TV of course! Have you seen NEXT series, a suspense, mystery drama?

Everyone has a race and this race is about SURVIVAL from the pandemic brought by coronavirus and covid-19. I don't know when it will end. It's just happened that 2020 is  year of the rat and 20 20 is an even number and double meaning, double numbers and for the superstitious earthlings those numbers are sort of  troublesome and witchy witchy spellbounding evil. Tell them to FO or ask the priests to use their exorcism ritual and end the purge of pandemic. However, the long waiting for TWD (ended its season finale) and FEAR TWD has began and to be continued once again on AMC. There's no stopping the zombies and the survivalists to exist. There is always something new of a series to watch on your favorite channels but do you really watch? 

Listening and watching to the news of kids being given free tablets and computers for their own self-study at home seems banal and useful, very generous but without internet connection will they able to use those high tech gadgets? That's another burden to low income families. Maybe they have internet connection  which they have to pay by bundle of  at least $200/month or depends on bandwidth. Do they have electricity? OMG! I should not give in to this mess. I am not a politician so better not to deal with this problem.

It's hard to believe that lobster industry is in chaos in Nova Scotia. You know that lobsters are the most difficult to catch because they burrow through the ocean undergrounds, they caved in. Lobsters are very expensive crustacean, more costly than crabs. However it's the choice of most people who can afford them for special occasion for the Holidays. Settle for crabs and prawns! lol. j/k

Seafood Lovers!

 

I love seafood!! You probably have noticed that most of the viands I cooked have shrimps on them simply because I love all kinds of shellfish, all the seafoods that my husband can catch from the ocean or shellfish he can buy. From the special pancit to wonton soup they have shrimps for ingredients.

Then this halibut for fish and chips. Husband bought 3 pkgs. of fresh fillet of halibut (30 lbs.) from the native fisherman. I'm now becoming an expert cook in deep frying them. The good thing about halibut is...it's not a stinky fish. It has no smell and halibut tastes so amazingly delicious.

Bokchoy saute' with ground pork with chopped shrimps in oysters sauce. Yummy good.

Crabs are somewhat my favourite of all crustaceans. It's hard to take the crabmeat from its hard shells however it is great for cooking them with coconut cream, eggplants and squash include some spices.

My husband would rather have fresh boiled crabs in salt and add vegetable salad to go with it. He doesn't like crabs being doctored. lol. 

Thank you God for all these foods we are about to have for our meals and had enjoyed so much.

PURGE: The New Version?

 Thank God it's already OCTOBER 2020. It is the merry month of October, the 10th month of the Calendar Year.

Cooler days ahead! When it gets cold this time of the year after  the long summer months, definitely the weather temperature drastically changes from time to time. When that happened automatically your body mechanism and metabolism changed with the weather, with the changes of environment and changes in economic downturns. On and on. Again and again. As if you don't know that every year. It's not a rocket science dude! I think everyone should study Psychology and Advance Science in High Schools so that we can better inform those kids. Let them study integers (+ -) and Calculus too. Let x=y

Common colds, sneezing and coughing is most common than normal. We are humans and we experienced all these changes.

However, due to the pandemic sudden sneezing and coughing and chills became scary for some people because I don't really know where those people came from. Are they robots or machines? Wear face masks if you want to keep covered or concealed what you are hiding. It's okay we can play with your PURGE GAMES of GAMES. How to play the PURGE? It's being played since February 2020. Are you not gonna stop?

Suddenly you cough out  from your orders of hot and spicy food from restaurants and suddenly the tracker purge team broadcasted on social networks about COVID infection in such restaurants. Then businesses closure and bankruptcy arise here there & everywhere. Dudes you should stay away from such hatred of purge. This year might be the year of the bravery of doctors and nurses but next year could be the year of case by case of LAWSUITS. It would be the year of lawyers, investigators and what could ever come out from all the investigative reports in the year 2021?  Only God knows. I wonder who are playing God in our time??

Le me wish all the birthday celebrants HAPPY BIRTHDAY, those people celebrating their anniversaries, baptism, nuptials, the saints and heroes including those who are sick and struggling in this time of the pandemic, a speedy recovery and hope that we can all pass these tests and have the safe passage to Thanksgiving, to Christmas  and into the bright New Year.
