I think my silent protest was HEARD. Already thank you! That's how to do it. Protest is done not by only by parading in public with big placards and slogans. You can write through your blogs and hopefully and fortunately if your blogwritings made so much sense then it's being passed and tossed around until you get the result.

I have done this kind of protest way back long, long time AGO. HOW POWERFUL MY WRITINGS ARE? It's as powerful as the calamities on earth. It's as powerful as Mother nature!

If that Tanjay wants to ask how big my head is because the good government wants to ask. You can go to this website: www.generalelectric.com or through the CAT SCAN MRI Nuclear Physics Lab. Why there? That's where they have the copy of my bigggggggggggggggggg HEAD! When i said BIG HEAD it means it has brains on it. It has medulla inside that head and most of all it has the tutankhamun in it. It is my think tank. Do you have one?

I know you just love the cookies in my jar!

I wont tell you exactly why I was subjected to this "scanning technology." It 's a secret! Although seeing this new technology for a "test drive" is somewhat surreal. Keeping it real? Yeah. I have nightmares of Soylent Green and Logan's Run.

Vox Populi, Vox Dei

BUDGET CUT FOR SCHOOL? I don't think so! You had a budget cut already last year. To have another one this year and next year is somewhat the weakest point that the government have in mind. Time to wake up!

Our children is our greatest investment. Therefore increase in school budget is a must! We need well educated teachers or instructors in every classrooms. We don't need parent volunteers occupying the roles of teachers inside the classroom!!!!! Special needs students should have the right amount of increase in budget not deduction. More grants for those who are eligible for the scholarship awards and rewards. Healthy mind in a healthy body motto. The government should think wisely now that the children of today are our future. If you forsaken them with the least resources for their learning you end up having multiple problems in the end. Think now before you screw their own destiny because of your budget cut.

Do you know where the budget cut should be?

Do you really wanna know? Politicians who don't make up the grade or nothing to do in the parliament but just sitting down on their arse doing nothing to help their 'ridings' should be terminated. We need honest, sincere, hardworking politicians to represent the whole majority. Politicians who can help their community, their people and their country. We need solid, concrete words that they can deliver what they promised the people who voted for them. We don't want promises that they cannot afford nor cannot implement. We want them to FULFILL their promises NOW. Or else will have a NEW election.

WHAT ELSE? Don't you think they should know better being in the government for too long?
However without people crying foul or people not protesting their grievances then you get lame answers. That's what it is in politics. You really have to air what you want for your town, city or province. What more if you are a law abiding citizen and you pay your taxes religiously then you always have the right turn as much as deserving of the rights and privileges of the country. All you need is to VOICE OUT YOUR OPINION and HOPE THEY ARE NOT DEAF and BLIND TO A GOOD CAUSE.

On PM Harper's Financial Outlook? I haven't heard though but I hope it's good. If not the best because this is his last chance!

Fun Games Never Die

Chapter and Amazons have it. Maybe the School Bookstore have it. I'm talking about the THE LOST SYMBOL penned by no other than the suspense thriller author DAN BROWN. The famous author of DA VINCI CODE & ANGELS & DEMON. Yeah people, he's back with a vengeance in another provocative unearthing of mysteries again in this latest book. I would like to have a copy of that Lost Symbol whatever that is.

I was engaged to know before hand the plot of the story but only little bit of hints or clues were stated in his website. So I decided to try the "The Lost Symbol Quest Game " instead. The Game is about matching the corresponding symbol to what is being asked or whatever matched on its equivalency. Mind boggling. So TEST yourself now before it's too late!

I'd like to state here how the game is done or what will happen at the end when you found the correct answers but stating or revealing the procedure would be so unfair. I want you to do it the same way I was hooked to the process.

There are at least 18 answers or symbols that I knew. I mean having encountered those symbols in Greek, Chem, and from reading Egyptian books. Oops I should not tell you that right? Whatever. The rest are somewhat ambiguous to me. Anyways I found the game very addicting. I don't think anyone would have a perfect score until you know all the symbols that the creator of that game has placed on it to choose from. Come on CHALLENGE YOURSELF! It's really fun.

Tell me about why did you play the game and what have you encountered after playing it and most esp. did it change your view of life when life itself has too many obstacles?

However, I wont be losing IT 'cuz I still have what IT takes! LMAO.

I happened to read a dilemma of some kind from a very concerned mother relating her story about her own daughter with a problem in school. It was upsetting that I found myself being on her goody two shoes although I would prefer Rusty Lopez shoe collections because they are truly appropriate for my dainty little toes.

Did you know that I had a big problem when I was in grade school? At the time that I was enrolled in first grade or grade one (elementary). I could already print, write, draw and able to read high school textbooks at a very early age. But how could be such a problem? In Philippines if you can already read and write and you pass the entrance exam for elementary grades you can join the many smart students in section 1. Section One belongs to the class of the smartest students. I was lucky to be in Section One in Grade One. I still can remember my first teacher, her face, and her name. Although I have regrets. She sent me to another section. For reasons that I don't even know up to now. I don't know what's her real problem. All I can think of she is close to her age wherein her wit doesn't make sense anymore. Plus the fact that students who are classified as "smarts" were sons and daughters of the following people: principal, teachers, supervisor, doctors, accountant and the many parent-volunteers in those period of times. Or those students who were brothers and sisters of the past valedictorians and salutatorians in that school. That's always been the case, anyway. You don't need a rocket scientist to figure that out!

However, here's what I found out. I was taken to another class of 50 students at Section Seven (7). It was degrading isn't it? It is humiliating!! I was shocked!!! I was mad. I was angry. How could this happened to me? Is there something wrong with the educational system? Were they blind?

Knowing what SEVEN is I have my own kind of vendetta. I showed everyone, I showed all the teachers in that school that they cannot degrade me no further. Martial Law came into effect in September 21, 1972 and voila! Eureka!! I'm leading the class and my classmates who happened to be the group of the "smartests." We had it turned upside down. We are sons and daughters of the Armed Forces, Navy and Marines. I called our class the "elite group" with the strategy like no other. Okay that is somewhat an exaggeration. In fairness through all these you cannot deny any child to learn. Everyone has a mental capacity to learn. It's not being on a section or group that labels you are "slow." Let say they are slow. But probably they are "sure and secured." What about say you are fast and so quick but in what way? You are fast and always in a hurry that's why you have an accident? It's okay you have an accident, you fall on the ground but everytime you fall and the fastest that you can get up without being hurt is a form of knowledge. Yeah could be a riddle of sort.

On finding a job sometimes IT's WHOM YOU KNOW. NOT WHAT YOU KNOW. Too lame right? But of course the employers always asked for you to have references. They don't know much about you even if you have comprehensive resume for their perusal.

After graduated from university, armed with xerox copies of diploma, transcript of record, and the bio-data here goes my one of a lifetime counting electrical posts. way too funny. I and my friend woke up that early morning, only to be shocked at the long line up of applicants at the PLDT in Makati Office. Thousands of us in a line up under the scorching heat of the sun, on the concrete sidewalk where the cars, buses and jeepneys had traffic jam on the road. The smoke from those smoke belching vehicles once in awhile kept us hiding from our umbrella. We were there for more than 4 hours (AM) then lunchtime, then back to the line with other applicants who stayed there until 4 pm. We were like martyrs standing up for 8 hours until we reached the gate of that company. I was already dizzy and tired when the security guard announced in his megaphone that "he will give us the cards with numbers and if we're all interested to come back for the next batch tomorrow then be there at the time designated for our group. Shocking! I just couldn't believe it. All of us, thousands of enthusiastic applicants were disappointed.

Know what? My friends and classmates decided since we started the martyrdom it's best for us to go back. Nothing to lose. We need to be employed. We need to have experience stated for our resume. Remember we are newly graduates. So we returned on that time period, although my friends and I were separated on different groups. I and 49 other applicants were called in to the examination room with one examiner and two guards as watchers. They gathered our resume. We are called to sit down and relax a bit then the test papers were passed on to us and the first category is IQ test ( 1 to 10 ) time limit is only five minutes. The first question was simple and fill in the blanks _____
1. If you see a man and a woman ___________. I answered "together"and the rest of the 9 questions were actually easy and had it finished within 3 minutes. Then the test papers were returned to the checker then we're called back. From 50 applicants down to 42. Next test is a 10 minute duration. It was Abstract. Same procedure. From 42 we're down to 30. Next test is about English: grammar, fill in the blanks, correct usage of the verb, nouns and pronouns. Fortunately from 30 I was still included in the next batch for Mathematics. This time I was nervous. I don't consider myself being a genius when it comes to Math. Although I must admit I passed my calculus in college with much ease. It's the simple math that I'm having problems with. Yeah crazy me. Nervous but with a time limit of 15 minutes that helped in the process for that 1 to 10 questionnaires. I myself cannot figure out how lucky I am that day. I was one of the ten applicants who remained in our seats and 10 of us are looking at each other. Perspiring and more nerves, anxiety starting to set in. Then we're called one by one to test the "machine." What kind of machine is that? It's a keyboard for telephone operations! You know for telephone operators connecting switches and the many buttons to switch on and off whenever there is long distances or local calls.

There 'ya go. We don't even have telephone at home way back in 1985. we tried to apply for land lines but with millions of applicants to have telephone and millions who already have lines where you think you can connect. I could only laugh at my one of a kind experience. You bet whoever they will have for those "vacancies" are the same people who are already working and have experience in telephone keyboard operations as "operators." So why they advertised? Employers feel there is a need to laid off workers just in case they found insubordination within the workforce and the employers are ever ready to fill up vacancies without resorting to panic.

When I got home from that company my uncle asked me right away what happened. I told him the story and he was a bit apprehensive and in doubt. He told me, " did you not tell her (the manager) that I'm your uncle?" I should eh? You think that would help?

Anyway, sometimes being connected with the "big shots" help boost your morale and helped in landing a "great occupation."

Finally I was able to finish the handy bags that kept me busy for two days. It was actually my first time to have this project of sort. Yes I cannot stop from sewing until the fabric is all made into something pretty. I have a profound attachment or attraction to any kind of fabric or textile especially if the material is smooth, shiny, and soft. I have a list or copy of designs that I made in my notebook which I would set aside for now until I bought some other materials to coordinate with my plan.

It was 16 years ago when my Mother- in- law presented me with a gift. The gift? Tons of fabric in assorted colors, designed prints. Each fabric measures more than 2 meters. OMG! I was grinning from ear to ear. There were more than 50 different variation of linen, cotton, voile, polyester, corduroy, suede, velveteen, satin, jusi and silk in the selections. I couldn't seem to focus my attention. My mind is already thinking of what I'm going to do with those yards and yards of fabric. I wonder where she got all those I asked myself. But knowing she is a good dressmaker and she made her own clothing which is apparently "same style" most of the time. Pant suit and blouse with front zipper. Although of course she had great choice of style and great taste for the kind of textile she usually used for her outfit whether it's a jacket, blazer or gowns. She had the peculiar taste for anything with outstanding color and texture when it comes to fabric. Uhm, I'd like to reveal that we have that same kind of fetish to certain texture. I missed Mom. I wonder where she is right now. I had two dreams of her actually sometime ago. Do I have to have the revelation here? Maybe not. I don't like my husband getting upset about something.

Anyway, I know that she loves red color. While me red is something I don't find striking. I mean red color means STOP. It just happen that my favorite color is violet! I love violet, purple and anything that is lilac or lavender in color. It must have been brought about by the color of clothes I wear when I was very young. My Mother used to sew lots of beautiful dresses. She is one of a kind dressmaker. That's one of her hobbies. She can only sew clothes for me and my sister whenever she was off duty from the hospital where she worked.

The first SINGER sewing machine that my Mother had was a prize from the baby contest that she joined in. I MEAN I WAS THE BABY in that beauty contest! I didn't win the grand prize because I was frowning and crying at the time of the event. However everyone thought I was the WINNER because I was the healthiest and the CUTEST! LMAO! Sige na maniwala na kayo.

Fishy, Fishy, Oh Yeah So Fishy!

Yummy fish! One of this is my viand for lunch today. They were caught by my son in Brown's Bay when they went fishing and boating. Actually one of this rock cod flipped upward as soon as I have them on the sink. It was still alive after more than 2 hours being caught from the ocean. Wow! What a resistance.

It's only me who will eat this fish. They would rather have salmon. Some of the salmon fillet were sealed for winter.

I had too many phone calls today. Two from the school, the others from people who called out of curiousity. Ah well, I don't know whether it's part of the "run." Too many reasons and seasons.

I did what I need to do based on my plan and so far I'm not behind. I'm still ahead of the game.
THE GAME OF LIFE!

Faith And Reality

Keeping myself busy once again. What to do? I cannot let myself just stay in one corner doing nothing even on Saturday or Sunday. I am still recuperating but the situation has not demeaning my sense of purpose. I have to do something to keep my mind busy. Busy! Busy! Busy!

Back to my sewing room.

I sorted out some fabric from the closet inside the box. I took them out and made some throw pillows from the extra foam and cushions from the room. I covered them with nice outer plain blue fabric. Then I made some throw pillow cases (19" x 19 " L & W) to cover the throw pillows and presto the result is amazing. The color and floral design of the fabric that I've chosen coordinately matched with the color of our velveteen marooned colored sofa. How wonderful!

Yeah I never stop being creative. I have beautiful hands that can make beautiful creative designs and stuff.

On power play? My hands have that so called "magic" that can uplift everyone's spirit. Although I used them only for the good cause and that will benefit my own family and the people who are in the circle within my clan. For others? They really have to kneel down and pray so hard so that their wishes can be granted. Why you may asked me? They have sinned so much and forgiving them is really hard for me to take. And it's really up to God's hands. I'm just human and God is God. You know what I mean?

It's Sunday today. Go and cleanse yourself in the Church and therefore make peace with your God. To the Thomases: Seeing Is Believing! If you see GOD then you must be dead!

Friday, September 18, 2009

After about 4:00 AM this morning thinking that Friday today. Thursday yesterday and of course not to forget that my best friend had a visit once again in my dream last night. I was in front of Mrs. T.'s house ( a neighbor in Philippines) when Cora approached me and was very happy to relate her vacation grande. I was about to ask her where she spent her vacation when suddenly our conversation was interrupted by her sister C. C. was beaming with pride and was full of joy despite her face showed so much sunburn. She was giggling as she approached us. I was about to hug her when her sister kept on pinching my arms reminding me that her sister is already dead. Thinking that I know she was dead but she was alive in my dream. Cora continued the effort to touch my arms. I woke up from that moment.

I really have to let go. I really have to let her go even if she keeps promising that she will show up in my dreams. It was a promise that we both agreed when we were young that whoever died first then will show that there is life after death. She continued to show me the many ways. Every time she end up there with a smile and everything's alright. Lola have the same kind of passing the message to me. There is really LIFE AFTER DEATH! That dying is not really something to be feared about. It is a renewal of body and spirit. Although I never and wont allow any human being subjected to euthanasia and suicide. Suicide, murder and killing any human lives is still consider a mortal sin and against the law.

September seemed to be creepy and spooky don't you think?
Then realizing Cynthia's birth anniversary falls on this month. So ayun nagparamdam na siya. Wherever you are. If you are reading my blog I hope you are at peace with the Lord God.
Pax Cristi!

Note: Just to let you know that this dream is not a result of taking tylenol medication nor I'm having hallucination. It's just a part or episode in my dreams. I am aware that all my dreams are very strange. Normally dreams are actually weird with few exceptions > boring! That's why some people they just have to forget their dreams and move on. While my dreams are always TO BE CONTINUED. I think I'm just one lucky human being on this planet earth.

Life And Death, And Defiance

I was confined in my room for several days now due to stomach cramps. I think I had this awful food poisoning from the pre-cooked lasagna that was bought from the supermarket. I had severe nausea, vomitting and at the same time suffering from dysmenorrhea. It was a very painful ordeal and I first thought it was the end of everything for me.

Then on the second day I was able to do the household chores then later stop from what I'm doing because I felt dizzy. I went back to my room and rest for a while. Took my medicine. The usual pain reliever which is tylenol caplet. It's proven to be the most effective pain medication against all other brands. I know. My husband didn't go to work for the time being I was unable to do anything especially on my weakest point due to health problem. We don't have any house helper here. We don't really have since we have our three children.Baby sitter or yaya are for the rich and most influential family here in this country. Or you can have a sitter just for few hours. As a matter of fact even lawyers here cannot afford such kind of help. Besides walang pasosyal dito maliban na lang yung mga gustong magyabang. Aside from that; vacuuming, laundry, dishwashing are done by machines although you have to start those machines with the touch of your hands of course by pressing the buttons to start and the cycle ends automatically. Although when it comes to cooking you really have to rely on human beings to cook the food.

I was thinking of going to the emergency room at the hospital but decided not because waiting would take too long as it happened in the past. Then I'll be questioned and then they can offer just the same remedy. I took another caplet of tylenol and waited in my bed until the pain subsides. I told myself this wont be a cause for alarm. I can manage. When I'm sick, very very sick I tend to be quiet. I am not into panicking whatsoever.

Third day, I was standing there in our bathroom looking at the mirror and get the shock of a lifetime. I felt like staring at my own ghost!

I was pale and lifeless! My eyes, my face and lips has no color. It was all white. I was having an anemia once again. Nervous and uneasy holding onto my stomach asked my husband to buy me iron supplement which is and should be part of my daily intake since I was anemic.

I went back to my bed restless and waiting for my death. I had my fervent prayers the kind of religious prayers that my Lola used to pray on her last hours. I had my last farewell letter and went to sleep. I was ready.....

Hours passed by
Silence ----- long silence
The pain I can no longer recognized and a long deep silence ------------------------

Until...
There was a thunderous sound outside, loud noise that I kept on hearing. The sound of heavy materials being drop on my place, the creepy sound of people digging and unearthing .....

Blag! Thug! Blag!!!!!!!!!!!!It was non-stop.
I opened my eyes and realized I was still in my room. I first thought I was in the grave yard. As I helplessly carry myself, got out from my room peeked from the window and saw a truckload full of roof tiles being unloaded on top of our roof. I talked to my husband about it and he knew and was aware that the contractor are changing and replacing the old roof tiles of the house.

Did you find any irony to this?
I guess it's not my time to die yet.
Not in this lifetime!

First Day Of School For My Kids

I must admit that I am a very nosy person when it comes to my kids in school. I'd like to know what's happening inside the classroom, what subjects they were enrolled in, who their teachers are and most of all to be familiarized with the facility whether the school environment is safe and secured.

I think it's me who is more excited for my children being back to school. Every parents should have that excitement. The feeling that they will learn more in a facility that offers the enriching power of the mind. Learning and acquiring knowledge is vital to your own future. You must remember that.

It's my first time to have a visit and "rounds" to that high school facility. It is built like a mega-mall actually. Sorry for the comparison but it is designed like a shopping mall which is quite nice. There is so called right wing and left wing. Oh there not only it is a mall it's also built like a jet. We can have a 6TEEN formula in there. OMG! Am I ridiculous when I said that? Yeah, yeah I'm a shopaholic individual. I love shopping. What a SPIN! SPIN_A_WIN!!

We entered the main entrance and then looked forward to the room where my daughter has to get in. There are many students who are in a line up at the lobby, for the reception area waiting for the receiving clerk to assist them. The hallways are too narrow but then maybe it was narrow because of the people going to the left and to the right side of the building. As you know the facility that we had in our school in the Philippines are not built the same way. Although the facility here is way too clean, neat and tidy. They were well organized. It's good to know. I think it's because of the population of students are not too high. I mean in Philippines there are about more than 5,000 students in a high school while in one college or university there are about 10,000 to 15,000 students at least.

We are on the right track to the area but when I asked one of the teachers for direction she ushered us to the right wing of the building. I think I told her what area or room we're supposed to be. We followed her direction. I think I heard it right. We went to the right wing of the school. We end up in the wing for older male students who probably enrolled in woodworking, welding, machinist, and other engineering skills. We returned to the main lobby and decided to ask the media lady who was confined in the media room. She was holding unto the telephone line so we waited for a while. Thank goodness she is very articulate. Her accent and diction is quite perfect. It should be normally if she will work for the media. She is probably a graduate of B.S. in Mass Communications. She told us the right direction, the room number B224. Only to find out it was actually Room B221. Anyway, we're thankful for minor glitch. I think she is a telephone operator. LMAO. No just kidding. I'm so glad that she helped us. She's nice, really nice.

I remember the time when I was in university and well there are so many numbers to choose from because of the many rooms and storey of the buildings. There are at least 7 tall buildings. The highest building is up to 8th floor which is the building for those taking BS Architecture and Fine Arts and for those students taking Nursing and Medicine beside the hospital. Although I didn't really have problem searching for my classrooms. I should not compare myself to others, my bad! My apology.

I met my daughter's teacher. He seemed a bit strict and formal. Maybe that would help. You learned from teachers who are moderately strict. I know. I was a product of schools were strict discipline is administered and followed like in a military style schooling. Well nobody here like that idea. They are not used to that kind of discipline and conduct.

I took one last glimpse to see who my kid will be associated with for the whole school year and can only sigh and think...hoping that my kid is in good hands.
I'm not worried about my two sons they can protect themselves. If there are bullies or bullying I should be the first to know or I might have a secret agent there. I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray GOD SPEED & GOOD LUCK everyone.

Another So Bizarre Story

Do you want another story about BEEP? LOL. One time me and another friend of mine went to this big box store and bought jewelries. After paying for it we decided to get out right away because we have plan to have other shopping spree at the other mall in the next block. At the exit door, there was a sudden loud beep. WTH! We paid everything! All eyes we're on us. The shoppers and the store clerks were eyeing on us . Goodness what a shame! We went back to the jewelry shop. The clerk opened my friend's shopping bag and took the box of jewelry. You know what's in it? A "bug." The clerk forgot to take it off when she scanned the item. The item was PAID. I told my friend maybe they want a sequel to the old movie "Enemy Of The State" by Will Smith. Not really funny.

Anyway, next time choose whom you want to pull your pranks with. Too many can die instantly with your foolish pranks. Or you might be fired from your place of work. The worst thing that can happen? You'll not only lose the source of your employment, the big box store can lose its patrons and shut down for good. Now you wonder why some shopping stores closed down for no apparent reasons. They been sued!

Remember my Gucci wrist watch? I had asked the jewelry store clerk to find out how much it will cost for them to repair it. The lady said $120.00 + shipping expenses because they don't have anybody to repair it for them in this town. They shipped the wrist watch to Vancouver City. It took more than a month to have it repaired and back. My God! I was thinking my wrist watch is worth more than a gold eh? Ako naman uto-uto nagbayad talaga ako sa halagang $120 +tax, shipping and handling of that said item. Know what? I can't forget the face of that store clerk. Masiba!

Next? How many pranks can a person pulled through until that person has been a victim of his own foolishness?

Here's the tip: People with good intentions don't hide only criminals do. But there are countries in this world when they let out their criminals in the open and have their names changed to protect their identities. What kind of government do you have ?

Something Totally Weird!

Carrot muffins for breakfast. Unusually the breakfast for that day but it's okay. Packed cans of softdrinks, eggr0lls, and gelatine made from pure mango. I told myself and my companions we don't need to buy from the fastfood when we get there because our budget for clothing and school supplies are limited. Last year we spent close to $450.00 just for the school supply because we followed the "details of list" in the department store where we used to shop. Actually most of the supply in the list is not really necessary. Then we spent about $500.00 + tax of course for my kid's clothing, shoes, and bags. The designer bags they didn't use because they don't like being called "nerds." I just couldn't believe it.

Now we reduced our budget to only $200.00 for school supply. Then seeing our lady love being sad about something then her father told her she can choose any game at the arcade of PSP, PSP 2, DVD, Wii, XBOX, and the many gaming discs available all in one shop. There are multitudes to choose from. Then later she had chosen the "Transformers : Revenge Of The Fallen." for PSP2. That's the only game she doesn't have. She's got almost all the games in the glass window show case in her collection so be it. The price of that game is worth $39.00 +5% GST & 7%PST.
We asked the sales clerk to assist us but he told us that there's a guy who is the next in line. I looked at the man with a beard and I told to myself isn't he that guy in another blog in the internet. Well, I didn't ask. I'm not that nosy enough to bother. Alam mo na maraming magkakamukha sa mundong ito.

I bought what I need to buy such as accessories for my sewing project. I had finished too many blouses, skirt, and square pants. All it needs > zipper and elastic. I was thinking of buying a bag of assorted buttons in different shape and sizes for just $ 5.99 but probably that can wait. We didn't buy lots of clothes. I noticed that the kind of fabric the manufacturer used for some blouses are of cheap material. I'm sorry to say that. Maybe that's why the price is not that costly because the material is cheap. That's what it is. I should shop in Divisoria instead. Divisoria is the site for thousand of rolls and tons of textile that you would have trouble breathing because of the many variety of textiles that were piled up one on top of another.

The $200 budget is gone. My kids need new pair of shoes. They outsized the shoes they had last school year and you know the price of shoes are maddening. It's crazy. You really have to buy durable shoes that will last until it fits their toes right? So off we go to the Shoe Warehouse. The salesclerks are helpful and they assisted us nicely. They are friendly and accommodating. That's what is normally should be when you're selling something so that you'll have lots of customers. I tried to fit in some cute -looking semi -leather shoes with pumps on it. The sales clerk said it's nice but it's big for me. I replied that I have different shoe size. Sometimes it's 5, 5 1/2, 6 or 7 it depends in whatever country I am. The clerk walked away and heard her say she needs a break.

After my husband paid the 2 pair of Nike shoes off we go. He was carrying the 2 boxes of shoes and asked if he needs a bag for those boxes. When we're about to exit the door, there was a loud beep. We walked back and asked what's wrong. The clerk said, "No there's nothing wrong with you." Then I asked if there is something that she forgot. She answered back with a smile and said," Maybe one of you has something in it." Uhm what is she talking about I asked myself and I blurted out, " You know what? I am armed and dangerous! I don't carry a crap about anybody." Then I laughed while I get out from that wacky store. Then I yelled back, " Yes! I have a lethal weapon." (( I have a lethal weapon by Mel Gibson's)) j/k.

Back at home, while I was busy planning for our supper and at the same time sorting out the school supply for my kids and another duty I have been busy about. Yes I am a multi-tasker doing 3 kind of work in just a matter of hour. Our daughter started her game. At first she was smiling, laughing at the intense battle of robots. One time she was scowling and unable to show facial expression being frustrated about a new game on hand. Too many controls: robot, vehicle, flight, gameplay tips and strategy. It was one heck of loud noise, quirks and quarks of lasers. After five hours the game is finished! WTH the brother was screaming. That's all? What a total waste of money.

FIVE HOURS! She finished the whole game in 5 hours (that will take 2-3 days) but because she was able to solve the problem of mystery and suspense.

Last nite in the middle of the night, I can't help laughed at what happened. I cannot go back to sleep that I turned on the television to know what transpired. I was shocked when a saw this funny show a woman talking face to face to the ex-convict wearing orange-colored outfit holding on the telephone behind the thick window glass inside the prison. The man? He happened to be the guy's look alike in the store where we bought the PSP game.

You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. What to see? What to hear?

SCHOOL OPENS ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 in CANADA. Are your kids ready for school year 2009-2010? That's the billion dollar question. How many students are expected to enroll or already enrolled or on the list of expectations? How many families moved out from the city and moved to another town or province? The final countdown _ _ ...

Since the shut down or closure of the major source of income: pulp mill and saw mill the economy of this once affluent city is very gloomy and in a bleak of disaster. I mean economically as in literally. The good thing is we never experience Mother Nature's fury in the form of earthquake, hurricane, flash flood and tornado. Once in a while we experienced such mild calamity in the form of stormy weather when gusty strong winds enough to topple down wood fences and houses built with poor construction materials.

How safe are our houses and the many buildings including the schools and hospital in this city? Only the architects, the planner, the designer, the builders or carpenters knew. There are the people who knew if the constructions are built strong or sturdy enough to stand the test of time and calamities. The quality of the structure, the raw materials laid out for the foundation of those building will lead you to believe how safe the finished product or structure. If it wiggles and shakes and bends then it's a poor construction. Look at the Tower of Pisa in Italy it was hit by earthquake but still stands too grand for tourists to admire and for quite a long period of time you know right there there is "steel." The Eiffel tower is also made of steel. One remarkable tower that can withstand the test of time. There are too many tower of power to be reconsidered but the power of God remains absolute. We really need the so called God genes in our system or else our minds will be polluted one way or another because there are more stupid in this world than you could ever imagine. I'm not even joking.

Life is uncertain. We can all have dessert first then have the main course later. What to hope for anyways? Just as what a certain journalist said, "death is a lucrative business." She's quite candid when she divulged such statement. Bravo! You're absolutely correct. Too many are following the trend. It's trendy! It's a menacing fact of a fad in the new Millennium.
