One of the most attention-getter advertisement that caught my eyes and I keep reading the print almost everyday. Know why? It's almost too good to be true and here's the hint - it's almost like a PRAYER!
FOR THE GREATER GOOD.
Are you good? Do you know how many times the word "good" is mentioned in the Holy Bible?
Million times.
God is great and God is good.
I think the human being who made the composition of this advertisement is a very religious one.
Just right in time with the nationwide strike (X) held so many times by school teachers asking for solution to their problems. Hike for wage increase. Hike for better solution in having bigger classroom for their students to breathe. Hike for lesser number of students to attend to especially for students with disability, and the problems keep adding up. Is there an answer now?
Summer time. The school days are over. It's summer break.
That's the first solution and it's been answered. Cooler? It feels cooler at this point in time, right?
It's for greater good that we also have to consult what's happening in our brains. What's goin' on in our mind?
Got a micro-chip?
Microchip is no longer that amazing as if you'll hide from civilization because you don't want being chipped electronically.
Dude there's already a liquid microchip that is invisible from the naked eye so that there's no need to hide and no need to think that what you are eating and applying on your skin is that millimeter size microchip that you are so frightened during your early years. Liquid microchip is invisible and it tastes juicier, tastier.
Something that is good is beneficial for you.
Oh darn! It's MIND CONTROL! Advertisement is something that you and I are tuned in and keep you in focus for a while because there is that greater reason to be in control with YOURSELF.

Sharing Knowledge
You probably wondering why it took me quite a while to discuss my opinionated view on the movie THE MONUMENT MEN starring George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman and Cate Blanchett. There are too many important cast of characters in the movie however what is the relevance in this movie that made them "monumental?" Are the treasures worth the lives of those people who gave their lives just for the sake of that "valuable research?" How much are the original paintings supposedly been burnt by Adolph Hitler during the Nazi regime? Why those masterpieces were burned in the first place?
The movie opens with the "missionaries having group consultation about something pertaining to the arts, masterpieces and other grandeur vast of wealth they have to hide or buried whatever is the true nature and purpose the motive of such conference by the religious sect. Famous paintings were shown on big canvas, on huge frames. Just the frames alone you know those masterpieces are worth more than art itself. It was in 1943 Paris, France- The Nazis officer and Dr. Stahl had introspection about the famous artworks, then the Nazi official asked for champagne. Cate Blanchet in her role as the museum curator went to the kitchen and asked the other lady a crystal glass of champagne. But before that, the two ladies spit saliva on the crystal glass before the champagne is poured unknowingly, the officer drunk the champagne.
August of 1943 Milan, Italy- George Clooney in his role as a soldier, a military whose into serving as surveyor-researcher for the famous relics, artifacts, artworks of all kinds with value especially those of valuable arts left behind by the Jews during the Holocaust. To retrieve all those worthy valuable important original pieces of massive wealth he needs his men to do the work for him and he recruited these men who are skilled in their chosen profession. (Hmm, why is it the story line seemed to be the same as my novel?) It's weird right? Anyway, so those men were recruited, trained under military way. 1944, NY - Special Ops.
1944 July Normandy, France You know what happened in Normandy right? Matt Damon's role went as far as France to find one Jewish family, he met Cate Blanchett (curator of the museum). They became friends, he gathered more informations. The woman seemed to have fallen for him but he never give her special attention. More scenes followed, less dialogue for George Clooney, Bill Murray and other actors. Nothing significant. There's not much fighting in a war era. They found the massive wealth inside the cave, a tunnel where the old railway is located (looks like the site of the Walking Dead series). They found all the masterpieces and they counted them into 16,000 artworks. They also found a barrel of gold nuggets. Nuggets smaller than baby's tooth. Would you believe that? They are arts made by Picasso, Rembrandt and other famous painters. When they load wjhat they can load to their vehicles and when they returned to the tunnel, some of the treasures were burned to pieces. Why Hitler and his men burned them down? Next scene Bill Murray had his tooth pulled out. Another scene where Matt Damon is holding up to the piece of wood in the tunnel and can't move because there's hidden bomb sort of booby trap underneath the ground. He looks like a stripper. lol. J/K. I don't know what's happening to that movie. I fall asleep so many times because it was too slow. It's like the traffic jam in Quiapo area on Friday when all the vehicles are stranded with no chance of movement because they all been stranded. Shocking. When I woke up all I can see from the screen are the list of the cast and characters being scrolled down on the screen. Gheez, what happened to that movie? They should have at least the best musical score that can shock your senses you know like a macabre sound, creepy and nostalgic. The movie is a hush-hush, looks like the budget is not enough. The sound system failed in that movie. The delivery of dialogue is not clear, not too many talk and if ever someone talked it's not clear enough and of no importance. The cast of characters are known, popular and famous good actors and actress, but why they made this movie somewhat boring?
Now what? Why Hitler burned down the artworks and masterpieces which probably worth millions of dollars? How old are those works of art? There...that's the question, how old? It could be so many century old? Hitler is asthmatic. He had problem with health. He hated dust and dirt. Why you have to keep works of art older than Jordan river? You don't know what kind of ancient diseases you will have from having those arts on your hands. It was at the time when there's no cure for cholera, leprosy, tuberculosis, polio and other incurable diseases because ANTIBIOTIC and POLIO VACCINE were only discovered after World War II. In this movie, the Nazi officer died. Could it be that the saliva on the crystal glass is toxic? Who knows? The saliva is toxic or the artworks more than hundred century old that are toxic? The gold nuggets are from the dead decaying bodies of those who died from the Holocaust and you want the gold on your mouth and on your teeth?
It made me sleepy to watch this movie however, the whole story tells you of maybe the non-fiction aspect" of the true nature of war of how it happened? Why war happened? Just like thePearl Harbor story of people not knowing the real time and day. Is it the fault of the messenger? Fault on map location and locator? Who owns the ORIGINAL MAP? Who knows the real story from beginning to end of the world?
That's the problem with secrecy. Just as what Forest Gump says, "life is like a box of chocolate, you don't know what you will get." Life is like a crystal glass of champagne you don't know what you will drink with it.

Hot Summer Days. Hot Summer Nights
What mother nature and its plan? I don't have a clue but islanders are more than happy to see bright new day, clear and without snow. People with arthritis and other kind of ailments will support a tropical climate however people with some other kind of ailment pertaining to allergy, skin ailments (psoriasis, contact dermatitis, rosacea, allergy caused by heat wave, prickly heat, patients with heart ailments, etc) these group of people would rather prefer cooler temperature because when the weather gets so hot their allergy seemed to explode. They become irritated and annoying most of the time. It comes with territory to become obnoxious but climate change can also affect the temper, patience or attitude and behaviour of humans and you wont believe that animals also are obviously affected by climate change. There are humans who are more than happy when the weather is hot because their businesses thrive and grow. It's at winter when these workers do not get any work or transaction.
So okay let us have tropical climate. We can have electric fans and air conditioning unit installed in our house because that's how to think cool and wiser. Or stay at the beach and have a whale of a time.
Whale watching adventure? Why not? That's gonna be the best amazing fun-filled activity this summer.
Yeah baby, in my dreams.

At The Garden
I told my husband to cover his lawn tractor because it might rain and the motor of the machine might get ruined but he said it wont damage its motor nor it will not be affected. The garage is already filled up with his other tools and machines and there is no room for John Deere inside. Even the small tool shop at the backyard is so small for this lawn tractor. By the way it took husband to cut the grass at the yard 4x than ordinary trimming because the grass was 2 ft. tall in that area before we moved in.
So it rained not because I wish for it because the temperature in the island is becoming like Arizona and Nevada. Who would like to suffer heatstroke? Nobody.
This kind of heat wave never happened in this island. Only just few days ago... it did. It was so hot!
Supposedly the temperature here should be cooler than below 20 degrees centigrade. It should be just like the cooler temperature in Baguio City or Hong Kong at least.
Know why?
Have you seen the inside part of your house , the wall and inside the wall is the insulation of whatever fiber, polyfil, plastic, and whatever available insulation the contractor had filled in the gap between the sidings see how thick the wall of your house just to keep the house insulated to protect the inhabitants from the cold season.
All housing facility, houses, apartments, condominiums, all the buildings in British Columbia are protected with thick insulation.
With high temperature over 25 degrees centigrade without any fan or air conditioning unit will turn your house into an instant oven. Just the heat from the sun, just the sunshine will keep you toasted inside the house.
Global warming is evidently felt through out the island of Vancouver and some people are cranky that it's raining furiously in their area. How bad the rainfall in your location to be cranky?
Alaska had experienced earthquake at magnitude 8.0 yesterday.
How far Alaska from the island?
Alaska is located at the upper part north of British Columbia.
Through long driving it could take 4 to 5 days to get there. If you are over-speeding the highways from Cache Creek to Prince George it will take only 3 1/2 days or 4 days long driving without the need to sleep to get to the destination.
Maybe just an hour by plane from Vancouver mainland to Juneau.
Like it's only one hour flight from Vancouver main to Hawaii.
And you wonder why it takes 14 to 15 hours by plane from Vancouver to Philippines?
Curios to touch it and look at this it's almost like the fabric that I bought before. I forgot the name of that fabric. Is it poplin? Embossed artsy texture and it's good to touch. Parang kiping. Then all of a sudden I crave for gabi or taro for a viand. You know the taro plants with heart shaped leaves? Hmm... Taro leaves with coconut cream as in pinangat.
According to wiki, hosta plant is edible. Animals used to eat the leaves and flowers of hosta species. Maybe great for animals but not for humans.
O sinong may gusto ng suso? What a big snail. I was busy taking pictures at the garden when my daughter Tamara joined me in shooting photos for the day. She aimed her 3DS lens at the snail to capture more photographs.
I was afraid to touch the snail. I can only touch it with the snail inside its shell because I know that the creature is a bit slimy. Look at her, my daughter ... she was smiling while she let the snail crawls gently, slowly unto her palm.
Then I laid the snail to rest at the leaves of this wonderful plant. It was a beautiful picture to see and remember. What a wonderful moment of life just right in time.

How To Be Cheesy?
Moving out and moving in to another house to another place is not fun at all. There are things that I don't know where I placed what box or totes or bags those documents (my papers only) and praphernalia went and there is so much to think about. Plus the loading and unloading and carrying of heavy loads is such a pain not to mention how sore my arms and legs are. Up and down the stairs which I told myself would prefer to have a rancher instead. Well, sometimes, I don't deserve such extra pain because I already had before. However I can't be that spoiled brats because there are so many millions of them already, adding up to their group would be double pain for the whole world to bear.
It was sunny yesterday. It was so hot and it feels like the weather is compared to Cache Creek, desert-like but we traveled outside of our comfort zone. It was once again super busy at Costco. When it comes to wholesale they are the store to go to for better affordable prices.
Along the Black Creek area is the long meadows of green plains of myrtle, corn plantation, and green grass where hundreds of healthy cows or rather cattles grazing leisurely under the sun. There is so much sunshine and it's windy so it is perfectly favorable for the herds of cattles out in the open air. How nice to see them contented to their awesome location. Great for you herds. What a beautiful landscape!
We bought the same regular groceries that we used to buy for monthly consumption. Although the beef, the price of beef is way too high this time. Pricey! The pork is quite on regular ordinary price. I can just assure that the livestock, the meat products are fresh. Everything's okay, people are friendly and so as the store clerks.
One that I have to try having for snack which is kind of new, netbag of Babybel. It was on TV ad being commercialized every day. My husband said the taste is kind of strong from what he had already tasted in the past . I think because he's used to eating havarti. So it's my turn to try Babybel. You know what? It tastes Cheddar! It's not that bad at all. Rich cheddar cheese. Compared to havarti? Havarti is stronger and spicy because of the presence of red chili on it. Like the maker of Havarti added pimiento on their cheese. Babybel is great for children, for kids. Plain cheese with no other additives so it's good for school children and maybe it's good for babies too but you have to watch and observe your kids when they chew cheese because you know they might get choke, remind them to unwrap the red waxy cover and plastic wrap, they are not edible okay? Just eat the cheese. Say CHEESE and smile! Ready get set C H E E S E !
Babybel snacks spaghetti dinner.
Spaghetti for dinner. One of my family's favorite meal. Easy to cook and great for family savings. Need to add more? I might add some more important advertisements when the right time comes.
Now you probably find me so annoying eh? Commercial on TV and on the internet? Darn! Even movies are plugged in with ADs. Have you seen the latest TRANSFORMERS the movie? I know my daughter will watch that movie for sure. But I have to watch or rather rent the movie of George Clooney's THE MONUMENT MEN first. I'm curious to know what kind of movie is that before I make any comments.

Unconsciously Freaky
I was unable to sleep last night because probably of the medication I had for my allergy. Also because of the frightmare I had recently which made me so scared about closing my eyes to sleep. Crazy that I am. I never had a dream in many months then suddenly I had this dream, the story goes: I went up climbing up to this very conservative orthodox kind of university. It was like a huge church but it was actually a university. Instead of going up the stairs I climbed up to the building exterior iron wrought designed like a scroll. So many scrolls on that side of the building and that's where I climbed up. Why not I use the stairs instead? I don't know why. It's in my dreams. Then I saw the almost spiral stairs from down below while I was on top of the building. I got dizzy it feels like having that vertigo condition and I almost fell through the ground. I managed to get down trembling and cold. While on the ground I saw a couple walking together, holding hands. They were high school batchmate in HS. At first cannot recognized the couple, their face looked familiar but can't remember their names, they were walking passed by me and we waved hands. I continued to walk and they walked behind me. I reached the rice field and something happened that shocked me. I was so shocked that I can't even remember the story that happened within in that situation and I tried so hard to wake up however I cannot open my eyes. What was happening? Wake up I told myself but can't open my eyes. I felt like being hypnotized or I'm in a trance or some kind. Is this the first time that happened to me? The answer is no. It happened before when I cannot open my eyes and can't wake up from my dreams or rather nightmare.
The dream continued. This time I screamed and screamed, slapped my face that it's time to wake up. I can hear my daughter's whispering, talking to her computer but how come she cannot hear my scream? It was more than few minutes before I was able to open my eyes. I felt relieved. My God! Is that what you call bangungot? Thank God, thank goodness I was alive. That frightmare gives me the quiver. It's not about the story of the bad dream but the moment of how to wake up from such deep sleep because too many already died from their sleep without notice. What could be the cause? Heart attack? Lack of oxygen? Asbestos and radon in the atmosphere? Carbon monoxide? What could be?
This is not a drama, gimmick or anything to shock you it's just that it happened and it was part of my dream that is not so good.
Oh my, what an unconsciousness meant > something that you don't have any control of whatsoever. Take a bite of my favorite cake with added whipped cream, another pounds added to my weight. You wont believe the next day the puffiness's gone and slim again. I think that's what happened when taking too much intake of carbohydrates which tends to increase weight gain.

WhaEver and Ever After?
MOVING OUT ... MOVING IN. Cleaning the house we moved in and cleaning the house we moved out. Wow! Where can we find a house that we can move in right away because it's already clean? We used to clean houses for our tenants that's for suse. In our part we used to clean the house we have to move in. Maybe for delicadeza. It's my nature, mother nature way to do that. Thank goodness there's no twister here. I consider this place "on location" to New England. Looks like Maine? Next time we'll move to West Virginia instead.
It seems to me that's what define us. We keep moving from one house to another to different location within the island. It reminds me of the "Baton festival the Indian way." If there is something wrong with the way things are, not in alignment with the universe or not the right correct fengshui then we have to move out and find a better or perfect place. Waitcha, isn't that what happened with Queen Nefertiti and with Cleopatra? These two famous ancient goddesses were known to go far beyond your imagination. They would seek places where they can find true happiness. Where to find the right light, the source of light and the source of abundant water. Looking for the best source of natural resources and where they can plant, hunt and go fishing where the source of livelihood is always crucial in any kind of productivity.
In today's world where can you find the source of true happiness? Is it only in the mind? The prsence of material gain, things that you can see will provide the utmost respect and truly the best reward for all things beneficial., healthwise.
I'm very specific with my topic today. It makes me feel like I'm having my feasibilty study when I'm done with anything Collegiate. It's time to take thing seriously without being subjective and talking and writing in general. First and foremost because I don't need to impress anybody anymore. I have to impress myself.
I'm writing to the dictate of my own mind and conscience. I don't need to be greater than anybody else and most of all I don't need to compete with anybody else. That alone can lead me to happiness. But it isn't easy to conquer myself. Ha ha! I heard the stupid dog barks. The word stupid becomes a natural expression simply everyone says that word. I don't need to ask permission to say that. LOL. See, my sense of hearing is rather phenomenal and mind 'ya selective. I can hear the bark of the neighbor's dog and that house was 4 houses from where we live. Wow! I know if it's not a dog then it's a deer who likes to make their presence noticed. Maybe one of these days a wolf will come into our doorstep.
What if I accepted the Veterinary Medicine course being offered to me in UP (University of the Philippines) would you think my life would be better or worse? I am sensitive and just the one mother hen with a "crown-like head" the chicken we used to have when I was in grade school made me cried when it died I don't know how I would react if some other pets will die. Losing our family pets Mutley and Hunter made the whole family cried and depressed. So Veterinary Medicine is not the kind of specialization inetended for me even if it was offered wayback before I enrolled in FEU. A moment back in time when choosing which is best, better and what is GOOD is ... an English term for anything that is good because it's not bad.
Great, better, best are adjectives or superlatives and are they good? Not because they are great doesn't mean they are good. Better or best maybe okay but are they good? They are best, better, great, amazing and awesome yet are they good? Sorry, my philosophy is a lot better being practiced in today's time because my logic is acting up.
Believe that GOOD is not BAD and BAD is not good. You want to be the best wear your vest and go fish. You want to be better because you are not in good health. How about satisfactory? Dude I never receive a satisfactory remark in Elementary School. I only have VERY GOOD or VG and O for Outstanding that's why the bully who used to bully me long time ago said I was a STATUE. If I'm not a statue he is quick to say I'm a robot.

Conflict Is Resolved By Cool Heads
It was so hot yesterday as if it gonna burst the patience out of me and asked myself if I'm the only one experiencing such terrible condition of dizziness kind of vertigo when the weather is so hot. Why I'm the only one who complains when the people here are so used to having cold winter weather and they should be bother right? I mean when it's super hot that's terrifying because you are used to what you are used to naturally weather-wise.
Or maybe they don't really feel the cold winter months here in Canada because during winter they spent their holidays and on vacation somewhere in the Mediterranean or Caribbean island, Mexico or perhaps they have summer resort in Philippines and Cuba. That's what rich people do spend lots of money to escape harsh weather condition.
I think I'm already adapted to cold season and when it gets so hot like over 15 to 25 degrees centigrade I tend to panic. Or I have to hug two electric fans. One ceiling fan and one electric fan stnading on the floor rotating to keep me cool. Am I so maarte? When I was in the Philippines it's the same way, I love hugging the electric fan to myself. I was born in the Philippines I should be able to conquer the heat. At a very young age the the climate condition is not really hot but subtlely cool. There's always wind to keep the air cool and clouds in the sky covered most of the sun's radiation. In the province where hundred thousands to millions of coconut trees giving much aeration providing natural fans and shades. It was the same situation when we first moved to the city. There were so many trees around the area and hundreds of big shady acacia trees, there's enough palm trees and vegetation covering the land and you wont feel the heat of the sun. It was rather cool. Then when over population hit the area in the city where we lived the problem became evidently obnoxious. Trees , so many trees were cut down. Old century trees were not spared. Every lot with a house constructed had only one designated family living in it then after 1976 people from other provinces came to reside in the main city, in Manila most especially and you might asked what happen to the vacant land they left because they were millions of them moving to Manila. Over population, traffic jams, less water supply and becomes a "ration." Imagine we used to have a shower and water use is naturally open. There's water 24 hours a day before but after year 1976 the water supply becomes gold in nature. Every house in the community within the city which only have one family becomes a communal of people living in another quarter within the house. Too many borders. The military houses were then shared to close relatives, borders and other houses were then shared with those homeless people. Organized community became disorganized because of the wide structural organization of new people coming with different dialect that sometimes is the cause of the problem because you know "miscommunication." Well, that was long time ago. Years ago. Problems here and there yet were then able to solve. Problems have solution no matter how big the gap is. Conflict must be solved in order to have a better community after all we are civilized and educated people. I'd like to think that way rationally as human beings we have to think higher, swifter and faster otherwise the animals will always tend to prank us, outwit and put us to the lower rank.
You have to be cool like a cucumber to solve conflict otherwise hot heads can only widen the conflict.
Now what's happening on our TV right now? It's all GREEN SCREEN. Weird? Not kidding the screen suddenly turned GREEN!

Sunday Steak
Third day of fishing went sour. It's not a favorable day on the 14th of June or because there are too many boats sailing and too many fishermen gathered around the location where they had the boat? It could be. That could be the reason. Salmons and other big fish have minds of their own. They know when they become endangered species they have to find a better habitat where they can protect themselves and most of all secure their family and their offsprings.
Take not that the ocean is not the only body of water surrounding the island. There are lakes, so many lakes within the area. There are rivers and ponds where fish can be found. Fly-fishing is also a way to catch fish at the rushing stream of water.
About 7 hours of being under the scorching heat of the sun while on the boat on the ocean being tossed gently by the waves simply I can react to the situation they were in. They caught salmons not that big in size compared to the first day they went out near the light house. My son Tyrel said they caught at least 4 dogfish and they are bigger than salmons. I found it ridiculous. Nobody eats the dogfish at home. I told my husband that he can use the dogfish as a bait instead for other big fish or a bait for crabs. What do you think?
We had fish for supper two times in a week already so I prepared beef steak this time and I told them it's an early Father's Day celebration. Saturday instead of Sunday. It's Sunday already just advance your mind. Oh I know you want to follow the calendar. It's good to follow the rules. It's only 6:56 pm, Saturday night and we're finished with an awesome supper. I was not able to lift the pot of young baby potatoes and my husband already sliced the steak and had fresh vegetable salad with cubes of avocado. I know, he didn't have lunch, just simple snack when he went fishing at very early morning.
I continued my cooking. I buttered the hot frying pan then tossed several prawns until its almost red in color, add the fresh wild curly ferns or coiled ferns (fiddleheads), sprinkled with desired spices and salt. Not amused, I added coconut milk for a delicious tasty flavorful viand. Darn the coconut cream is not enough. It's my first time to have those kind of ferns. Crunchy. Husband didn't eat a piece of that fern. It was him who bought it in the first place. Strange! Later he told me he had at least two pieces of those fiddleheads. Great! First thought I'm the only one who will eat those curly tops hahahahha! I was reluctant to eat fiddleheads but reminiscing that a friend of mine who is a doctor used to have it for her viand. She had a garden with those fiddleheads growing like yin-yang. She likes this loopsy fern so much it must be delicious. Other people used to pickle this type of fern using the technique to make pickled cucumber.
Here's what fiddleheads looked like. I have given numerous names for fiddleheads such as: curly tops, loopsies, coiled ferns, 9669, curly wild fern and if you are curious why not try it and have it for your introspection. First make sure you clean the ferns properly, wash them real good with clean water then boil it on a kettle for 15 minutes. Don't over cook it please. Then saute' it with butter add prawns or shrimps. You can use coconut cream and shredded ginger and add escargot or any kind of seafood for delicious treats.
HAPPY FATHER's DAY to my Father! To all The Fathers in the world who are good provider and good role models to their children you all should be happy and thankful that unlike before when it's only MOTHERS' DAY being celebrated around the world. It's a good thing now that another special day is added to make all the PARENTS proud and joyous that they are the most important human beings to their offspring, rather to their children. Enough dramatization. Pray to God almighty that we are all here living and experiencing the knowledge of life and love.

From Natural To Man-Made Resources
There is that wise saying that "Action speaks louder than words." Well of course that's true! What I have seen in another advertisement made me laugh because it says, " Action speaks louder than clicks."
I think it depends on what suit your taste. What can make you happy and which one offers you sense of happiness, peace of mind and which offers a lot of financial ability and capability , most of all YOU the one who knows yourself where the action is and through these actions you can provide lots of words and clicks. Right! Combined all those things that make things and your work worthwhile.
The most happy and contented people in the world are successful because they only have to compete with their own selves. They do not compete with other people.
There is something funny situation that happened today. I was about to post a Canadian flag at my Facebook page when I realized wait... It's Flag Day USA! Halt! Presence of mind and I pulled off the flag and from embarrassing myself and know what? What's the fuzz anyway? When I first arrived here in Canada, USA and Canada are just ONE. They shared the same "continent." It's a 3D!!!!! It's a 3 Dimensional country. One TV host once said that Saskatchewan is a Russian province. How that happened? Well look at Alaska it was a Russian province and because Americans bought it from Russia, it became an American state. The Russians have to travel through the long roads of British Columbia to get through Seattle to California. During the 90's there's really no VISA nor passport to get through the land divide. Too many Canadian-Americans. Too many million American-Canadians. Century ago, Texas wants to be on its own never to join the Confederation nor they want to be a part of the United States of America. However, just like Hawaii they decided to be united.
Texas and Hawaii? It's Philippines! They were islands belonging to Philippines. True or False? Testing your History and World Map Atlas.
California? Belongs to Philippines. True or False?
At the time of Jesus Christ there were only few countries known to men namely: Israel, China, Egypt.
That's right only 3 Countries! From these 3 Countries so ancient that the oldest cradle of civilization originated. From evolution, to revolution to non-stop migration because of over population.
From billions of people's garbage a mountain so high were created. These garbage were then piled up so high and through many volcanic eruptions that helped change the face of the earth and the land mass were then turned into a new island. Those islands were then developed, vegetation was placed and restored voila another country is created. That's how simple one country to another is made and created and this time they are all man-made.
By the way, Congratulations L.A. KINGS for winning the Stanley Cup 2014!

Bake it and Broil It. It's Your Choice
Did I tell you that my husband Lorne went back fishing again? He caught two salmons and my sister's husband Romy had two salmons too. They are less than 25 lbs. but good enough for the special meals that I'm planning to cook when I'm no longer busy with something else.
For the meantime let's have those fillets for supper. Somebody asked me how I cooked salmons. There are too many species of salmons from sockeye, chinook, steelhead, spring salmons to coho salmon. Veteran fishermen would prefer to catch the sockeyes because of its beautiful scale color and because sockeye specie is the best of all the best...it is the most delicious salmon that's why it's expensive. Hard to catch too if you know what I mean.
For simple meal and you want to taste and savor a juicy, tasty fresh salmon all you need for ingredients are:
2 tbsp. of salt (just the right amount for my taste)
dash of ground pepper
sprinkle 1 tbsp. of ground oregano
1 tbsp of mixed lemon, herbs, spices Clubhouse brand
squeeze sriracha spicy sauce on one piece of salmon fillet (optional : sriracha is too spicy for those who are not used to spicy sauce it can be overwhelming).
Place the fillet of salmons on a bakeware or pyrex before you sprinkle those ingredients above.
Additional ingredients: put tbsp. of butter and slices of ginger on top of the salmons. (you can shred the ginger into desired amount and size if you want)
Cover the bakeware or pyrex with aluminum foil. Place it on the oven at 400 degrees centigrade and bake it for 20 minutes.
If the salmon fillet is so thick it will take more minutes to cook it. Try to broil it this time for another 10 to 15 minutes until the surface of the salmon is golden brown.
Here's the result of the best salmon ever. It's yummy-yummy good.
For those who are afraid of salty foods please try vege-salt next time. It's a combination of vegetable seasoning (ground) with natural sea salt. Vegetarians love the taste of this very special salt. It is costly than the white grain salt but it's a healthy choice and surely you'll love something different. You can avail of Vege-Sal in a specialty store only.

I'm Really Sick Today But I Can Survive
My husband gave me a day off today. No moving out of our appliances and more stuff, mostly kitchen wares going in at the other house because this morning my sinus is really bad. Runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing every now and then. Yuck! I hate being sick. I have problem breathing. I can't do anything and I hate being idle anyway so better blog.
Yesterday I was able to set up the two cabinets or bookshelves at the living room. I don't know where to place my nutcracker collection because the table stand has no space available unless of course if I will push the love seat closer to the center table and closer to the two bookshelves which will automatically cover the view of the fireplace.
The fireplace? Something weird about it. It automatically turns on by itself. I asked my husband if its solar paneled start on or powered by solar energy. It was so hot outside so I first thought the fireplace clicked open with flames because of the heat of the sun outside. He said it was powered by gas. Wow! It frightened me somehow and I want to sing "Scooby-Scooby doo where are you? ))))) We've got lots of things to do now... Am I making myself funny and ridiculous here? But this is a true account and no lying here whatsoever.
It seems to me that the one who lived there before didn't do the cleaning properly and I have to clean the place according to my standard of cleanliness. The yard was unkempt and the tall grass is over two feet high. Before we moved, the grass was hacked down leaving them on the ground. They just left the grass scattered on the lawn. My husband who is such a very kind man started to cut the grass instead over there. He bought a new John Deere rider lawn tractor to cut the grass faster.
It should be faster this time because of its sharp blade, new engine, new motor, and it's because the machine is NEW therefore it will provide better, credible function for grass cutting. He can't say no to the big offer discounted price so he bought it right away at Home Depot. Big discount offer for Father's Day. Right! It's FATHER's DAY on the 15th of June, on Sunday.
Advance HAPPY, HAPPY FATHER's DAY to my husband who works so hard, provides so much and the greatest breadwinner in our family. Thank you for being the kind, wonderful, thoughtful, loving and caring husband and father to my three teens. You're the best!
What ????????????????you want me to post the new house? I would rather not post the house because every time I posted the photographs of the house we used to stay somebody somewhere wants to buy it. I remember a time when we had a garage sale many years ago and there are buyers who want to buy something I owned even if its not for sale because according to that old man, his wife wants anything I owned or anything I have touched. Strange???!!!!
No it's not your typical Friday the 13th. This blog entry supposedly for yesterday. I had this on "draft" but when I blogpost this today it's the today's date that was posted, so unlike before with the classic Blogger blog format. Whatever! Who cares eh?

You Want A Total Drama Island Version?
Because I was busy moving our stuff, furniture, work tools and machines and other household appliances to the newfound home I was away most of the time from my workstation. I told myself no more computer for a week because of this busyness.
Moving in to another place and into another neighborhood is stressful. Not only the heavy loads of carrying, hauling big boxes, or big totes can make somebody pulled their groin but carrying boxes from one place to another is simply irritating, lots of work and heavy on gas too for the vehicle when it's done back and forth, back and forth from the old house to the new house. Actually the house we're to lease based on its agreement is not a newly-built house rather it's probably a ten year old or fifteen year old house adjacent to the many amenities in that location. It is a fairly nice area where nicely landscaped yard and colonial style houses are evidently seen. It's more like a scenery in America rather than Canada. New England style ala Washington era. Great! I love the area. I love the scenery and most of all I can hear noise from people walking and talking then noise from vehicles coming and going from our street to the next street.
The owner's agent hand over the two keys to my husband and I get to choose one from my husband's hand. I have chosen the circular white label tag leaving the white and red color key holder for my husband. The next day we started the moving in of our stuff, totes, boxes mostly carpentry tools and paint tools, pressure washer, saw cutter, workbench, heavy to light stuff, garden tools, including lawnmowers and John Deere lawn tractor. He doesn't know where he can park his boat because there is that big RV parked at the side of the fence and occupies the space supposedly for the boat. The realtor said she will move it. Ah, don't know what really transpired to their conversation and agreement.
I concentrated on cleaning the cupboards, the fridge, the kitchen counter, cleaning the laminated floor, and the glass door (French doors style). My daughter helped clean the glass windows with windex. She gest so tired so easily so she said she wants to go back home. I changed the dark brown curtain into blue suede fabric and white lace interlay curtain (drapery) at the middle, on the glass doors at the dining room.
Wow! It was so classy! It was stylish and feminine I think. The lace curtain (swag) at the kitchen window is really beautiful. The lace curtains are so dainty and nice that it offers a Victorian style touch to the house. Country-Victorian style. Hmm, what to do with the country-style dining set that we have? It has blue color trimmings that best coordinate with the curtain. However the kitchen and dining room space is really small. There is no space for another dining set unlike in our home before. The living room is somewhat smaller than what we had.
Sure, we are not happy. Our house has ceramic floor tiles at the kitchen and bathrooms. The granite counter tops and glass, ceramic style tiles on the kitchen walls a plus and the real solid wood floor is genuine not laminated. However, there is no other available 3 bedroom house that 's available in the realty market and the house is closer to what we need for the time being. Although I can give them applause on fairly new microwave, new dishwasher, new water tank yehey, vaulted ceiling with huge electric fan at the living room. What a bonus eh? Two bath tubs at the 2 bathrooms looked new and clean. The 4 tall or higher than normal windows are a little over the edge. The four glass windows have long light brown curtains (drapes). Sosyal ang dating eh! At least the curtains are included in the house furnishing. Some other houses offer free blinds and window screens.
Anyway, even if my son Tyrel and husband seem uneasy and disapproved of the setting because they never thought at first that the house looks smaller when all our furniture are brought in. My house here (that was sold was actually bigger in size and spacious). The kitchen is bigger in size because it can fit in two dining sets, a pantry, china cabinet, and a 5 ft. work desk. Our living room is bigger, has wider space and separate from the kitchen. No wonder our house was bought right away within a month's advertisement through the internet. It's my husband's house!!!!!!!!!
It's too late now. The house is sold. Darn! We can get by with that new 3 bedroom house with vaulted ceiling, up and down built like a split-level and enclosed fence yard at the back. Right, at least it has privacy for our patio entertaining project or barbecue party. Ha ha! Okay that's fun already. I am thinking way ahead of time and there'll be no roaming deer around the yard and no more racoons and other rodents pestering the neighborhood. Most of all there is no dry leaves falling during autumn because the trees around the yard are mostly cedar and some perennials which wont shade any bark like the birch or leaves from maples and oak trees.
To tell you frankly, I'm not in my best mood nor do I feel in the best of times. I had colds it seems like flu actually if I don't watch out. I've been sneezing so much, having runny nose, my head hurts. Yes I have a headache. It started when those cottonwood seeds were all over the air floating and flying everywhere plus moving in to another house probably caused it to get worse. The kitchen and bathroom spray cleaner that I inhaled when cleaning not purposely but because I should have used mask to cover my nose and mouth. Airborne? I used gloves though when cleaning surfaces because the cleaning supply that I used are somewhat very powerful. There, so powerful that I feel so sick right now. I will continue to blog next time when everything is alright. Good day to my friends and readers who continuously support me and my family in this dramatic blogworld. THANK YOU!

Our Very Own Fisherman Caught Big Fish!
How fortunate my husband to have caught salmons today. It was amazing! It was at a very early morning, at dawn actually that he got ready, prepared what he needs, to go boating and fishing together with brother-in-law. The weather is perfect and favorable today and just like the weather temperature that is very cooperative for fishing off they go to the place where they think there are lots of fish.
There are many boaters, hopeful that today, Saturday is the right time to go fishing and might as well enjoy the awesome good weather right along the blue waters of the ocean.
Look at that perfect horizon. The spectacular view, just close to the Quadra's famous fabulous light house where the boat nestled to catch those fresh fish.
My husband called me after an hour that I'd better talk to my son Ty to inform him that they caught three salmons already: Spring salmons and Chinook.
After an hour I called back and asked what's happening and it seems to me that the reception or the signal is clear enough for me to hear his voice.
From the island to that area where they are fishing the signal is really clear.
Good news! They caught a 25 lbs salmon! Meaning one of the salmons weighs 25 lbs. The fourth one.
Wow!
Right away, Lorne and Romy arrived home with their precious catch which I think when those 4 salmons are sold to market, probably worth $500 at least.
How I cooked those fresh salmons? First Lorne cleaned the fish and cut them and sliced them one by one . Fillet them properly. Some chunks are placed in Ziploc bags and stored in the freezer for future use. A bag of fillet fish was given to our friendly neighbor Andre'.
The other halves were cut into big chunk and I cut it into two fillets for viand.
One fillet of fish inside the fridge was used for grilled fish steak with mango chili marinade.
Two pieces of the fillet were then sprinkled with dash of salt, ground pepper and ground oregano. Put two tablespoon of butter so that when it melts on hot baking pan the flavor will spread on all sides of the fish. Of course the result is yummy, tasty and delicious salmon. Simple taste not doctored flavor is the best of all the best.
Or maybe because the fish is so fresh you can smack it real good.
Now what? The husband is planning another fishing escapade and maybe this time he can catch halibut, rock cod or my favorite blue fin tuna.
Who knows? Tuna and halibut in our ocean along the Passage? Hmmmm... I wish there are tuna and halibut along the waters in our ocean. I wish. I wish. I wish.
Whatever! My daughter is not thrilled at all. She was unhappy that our 39" TV burnt out and was acting crazy, blinking, pulsating lights and there's darkness on the picture screen. What could be the real problem? Overheat? Tsk! tsk! It was only less than one year. We can't find the warranty or guarantee certification so... Her Dad doesn't like seeing her daughter so sad and almost about to cry that he bought a new TV for her. It's only 32" TV this time but it's okay and it was on sale. We might as well buy it and he bought it before the department store raise the price of their televisions at the electronics department..
We're watching the movie "The Day After Tomorrow." It was sci-fi movie about permafrost when suddenly the whole America was frozen below negative zero instantly without a warning. Slow, gradual change of weather with a warning can be understood and you can prepare but in this movie the ultimate extreme instant rapid change of global coldest temperature is fatal to humanity. Suspense, drama and emotional trauma movie on how to survive in extreme global disaster.
But of course watch the very first scene of this movie. While the scientists are out there at the middle of the iceberg in Antarctica drilling "fossils" buried beneath those ice then suddenly one scientist noticed that the ice shelf cracks, it rattles and shakes and the long break line cracked open and separated the iceberg into two land mass of ice. What could be the reason? Global warming? Darn! You're drilling the solid ice mass at the middle and those holes? How many holes they drilled?
Get a puncher and punch holes along a straight line on bond paper and look what happened. On paper the desired holes will stay the same as holes but if you punch holes on solid ice and the sun is so hot up in the sky, it's not snowing so no ice to fill up the holes, there's no river or lake on that iceberg. It was solid mass of ice but the heat of the sun can melt the iceberg easily because of the effect of punctured holes. Also because what lies beneath underneath the solid iceberg is not solid mass of land but water. Ice berg floats on water, most of them though. It's not about science. It's about common sense.

It's Whom You Know!
Why every time we move there is that TAG that wont go away?
God knows we are going to move out of this house we are living in because it was already SOLD! In just a month that it was in the internet website of the realtor the house was sold right immediately. There were bunch of realtors and their associates who looked, stared and view whatever they did inside the house that's their own motive and purpose to snoop, check, etc. Have you seen SNOOPY? Then the inspection happened twice and somebody wants to buy it. Days later that person came back to check on something at the detached shop together with the broker and later on the realtor phoned and said the house is sold and she placed the sign SOLD on her posted advertisement sign outside the yard. She also took the ad, pulled it off from the internet. Good!
Who bought our house? I don't know who bought our house because the realtor never told us. It's just that it was SOLD! Really? Owners of the house should know right most of all right to know. The owner should have the RIGHTS as much as the realtor. It's like you are giving the realtor that the house is not yours and it belongs to the realtor. I believe in the power of the mind and logic. But because the man here is sick and a SENIOR with an ailment that you can take advantage of him being an old man? I am being taken advantage too at the age of 51. What can become of me when I reached age 60 or at when I reach age 65? and with alzheimers? Senility is an ailment and younger people tend to take advantage of old people. They should be ashamed of themselves. Then when I tried to make sense they are against me. "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" They are screaming at the top of their lungs just to keep me quiet.
The old man cannot even explain what's happening and can't even know who I am>his wife. He talked nasty to me when I'm his wife and he's talking sweet to the realtor whom he think is his wife. Goodness holy shh---! It makes me cringe that maybe, maybe they are promoting a movie. Those two are really so sweet! I want to cook boneless pork just to highlight their sweetness. What the hell! Is there something wrong with their English language conversation? What kind of communication they have? How stupid is that? He should just talk to his sisters and maybe the TALK, person to person will help all of them not being taken advantage by PIRATES! Ok look, whatever their conversation is might pass as a SCRIPT.
My God my rants can't be stopped simply it's my common sense and logic acting up. You want fallacy? Please study PHILOSOPHY. I felt like I am a victim of extortion and so as my husband trying to be an ACTOR!
I don't need this BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked once again the husband about something because the new owner will move on the 20th of this month so before that day we have to move somewhere else. My borther -in-law asked where are we moving? The house is sold and you haven't find a house yet. So I said to him, " We're going to move at their house." He was stunned for a while and replied, "sige lang." That was a week ago.
So what else is new? Not much. I can't tell you everything what happened everyday, every second and every minute of my earthling life.
THE SEARCH:
We found three houses that seemed decent and costly. We don't need to rent in this house we are living and residing at this time but the husband pays the yearly property tax. The house that we are about to move in we have to pay rent monthly and security deposit but do not have to pay property tax yearly. Is that good? For our age it must be good. We are the GOOD TENANTS as always and forever will be. The husband is a handy man and has knowledge about carpentry. As tenants, we cleaned the house and put everything in order, cut the grass at the yard, managed and maintained landscaping, do the plumbing and fixing of cabinets, for sometime the husband also pressure washed the whole buildings and painted walls and post. Who would have known that tenants are supposed to do such work when the owner can just hire somebody to do it. But with us occupying the rented house? The owners are SAVING a lot of money. Right now there are so many machines at the yard, it's just that the garage and shop are too small to have those machineries inside. No wonder the houses being built here in Canada have bigger garage, more bigger space than living room.
STILL SEARCHING:
I looked at through the internet, classified ads and found a townhouse unit that's for sale and the mortgage is only $ 216.22/monthly. Cheap eh? Decent place, modern appliances, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, ceramic floors, wood floor, carpet on three bedrooms, newly renovated. utilities are not included. Including the utilities probably it will come up to at least $1,500/monthly (heating, electricity, hydro, phone, garbage disposal, strata fee). Why not that townhouse unit at Laurel estate I think it's right for us. Why rent when we can own a house? A decent, clean, not so costly place to live in that's what a good family needs.
Problems. The husband is a carpenter with two garage full of carpentry tools and machine, with lawn tractor, and a boat. Need I explain that those TOOLS are essential source to his employment? Without those tools how he can work properly? I could only just say the hell with the boat.
BUT, he would rather kick me out and my kids out of his life rather than sold the boat.
Okay my logic sense told me that we live here in the island and almost every family here at the island owns a boat, small boats, big boats it's because it offers sense of safety and security. Plus, a man can't live by working 24 hours a day he needs to relax once in a while and fishing is a must to alleviate the stress and tension at work.

SAD. Go ahead Will Pharrell wear your Indian headress it's the best thing to do.
In a country where Indians owned the land and the government runs by foreigners who we are anyway in the eyes of God. Is there humanity or mankind in this planet earth? It's the same kind of unfortunate events that happened every time, every year, every century... No wonder there is no perfect life, no perfect families and most of all no perfect government. ALL DYSFUNCTIONAL. NO PERFECT EARTH and that's why GOD will be GOD and he thinks that people will overpopulate his ZOO then he should eliminate the people first. What do you think? Is that the true story of the Bible under Noah?
To make my life better and full of excitement I want to post this digital painting and hope those players are better. LOL. Commercial dude.

Radio Gaga?
OMG! Our television is weird today. Something is wrong with the picture tube I think. Or maybe because there is something wrong with the satellite up there in the sky. Black screen television with only sound system functioning? There is that old image of television that is doing such havoc on a new age flat screen television ... it keeps me wondering somehow. How could a less than a year television will act haywire again? We just bought this sometime last year after the first television was leaking with radiation.
Okay I'll let that TV works or function like a RADIO instead. It doesn't matter for now.
It was just last night when I heard about a TV host questioning one of the game contestants which one he can't live without. He said he cannot live without TV. Right! Some people can't live without TV.
With the internet boom in this generation of high technology some people take for granted the value of television and most of all radio. During the war era it was radio the most modern technology that the war survivors have to have for their survival. It's the medium of communication to find out where the safest place on earth. The radio announcer and commentator tells everyone where to hide and where to go away from the collaborators and from the colonizers. With too many radio hosts, television networks, and many reporters and paparazzi who is the most honest, trustworthy, and credible. Because in times of commercialization and controversial issues of rating who's the best amongst the best popularity wise you wont believe that it's the RATING that matters whether the news is newsworthy or not and whether the news is for real or just a phony. Whatever!
For once, a movie was made to represent and reflect how news are made. It was through collaboration. It was highly syndicated for entertainment purposes.
So, what now? Believe it or not?
Believe that flat screen television is simply a television that wont last a lifetime. I wonder where I place the warranty and guarantee, hmm...
It was not my computer got toasted from the heat but it's the television. The plasma flat screen television. At least it's not the people here at home. Thank God that it's not us who were affected by the heat wave but the television.
Years ago when the very first TV given to us by my father-in law was hit by some kind of laser through the window when I was watching the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. I can't forget such event. At least it's not event horizon. The second time when the second flat screen leaked radiation made me sick. Now the third time that television in our room which was newly bought is acting up today without picture on it because it's black screen has BLACK color on it that blinks moving picture (in motion) then totally black screen like a smudge then nothing at all just plain black screen but with sound only. Pulsating lights, blinks black and then lights that is totally irritating and annoying. The sound is perfectly okay though. It's more of a joke I think that our TV is now a radio.

Prayers Are Heard Maybe It's The Right Way
Well, well. well ... breezy airy morning! I felt like on vacation in the land down under. It's cooler this time. What a miracle eh?
It's a happy day for everyone. I told you we should keep the temperature here at the island less than 25 degrees centigrade or else... experience the consequences.

Some Like It Hot. Some Like It Cold!
I don't know what it is but because it's super hot and not cold that I tend to eat hot and spicy food. I cooked sliced beef (stir fry and another batch of beef saute' style plain without the spicy stuff and without mushrooms because my daughter is so picky and choosy with her food.
I also used a different kind of sauce this time. It was made from the Philippines. There are 3 kinds of sauce to choose from. I first tried the tamarind sauce just to find out if its good.
It was absolutely marvellous. Delicious tamarind sauce is incredible and the tangy taste stays on the tongue for an hour. Strong! Wow! I will try the two kinds of sauce next time.
I told you it's gonna be hot, so hot this time of the year. We all should go to Australia so that we can feel their autumn.
Make my children happy by creating smoothies and milkshake from scratch. Why not? Instead of us going to 7- Eleven when I can make a homemade special beverage at home. I can also make cold slurpee sweet delicious while we watch "Chitty Bang Bang." You wont believe I keep singing ((( Truly Sweetstuff )))
It's always quiet here at home. Peace and quiet. You wont hear anybody talk until there's a telephone call or when the TV is on. Screaming at the top of my lungs is just a "thought." A product of your imagination. I seldom scream or yell. What so noisy in our house is the television with lots of people talking. More news, more cartoon shows and teen shows such as Victorious, iCarly, Big Time Rush (there's more screaming from BTR) , Mr. Young, Power Rangers, Johnny Test, Timmy Turner, and waitcha... there is screaming whenever we watch that scary "Walking Dead series." Thank goodness it's gone for the season's airing replaced by TURN starring Jaime Bell.
Whatever! I love sweets.
Superbly delicious smoothies and milkshakes with fresh raspberries surely to make my day better and full of hope. Great my daughter loves the smoothies. My sons? Their taste is somewhat out of this world.

Choose What Tomorrow May Bring? Bright, Sunny, Or Dark?
Spring is over and summertime is here. Well it's not that early. It comes with a price. We are using all the electric fans we have in our house. Hot and sunny almost everyday now. Two electric fans got haywire and burnt out. Thank God it's not my computer that got toasted. And thank God that Google didn't have that power outage. When I first start blogging at Blogger they always have that power outage. Maybe they have generator since then ... after.
Anyway life goes on in this side of the world. We have water and water consumption is really more evident. Have to shower twice everyday instead of every other day. Drinking fluids: soft drinks, coffee, juice and smoothies will be part of the daily ritual to prevent hydration.
Daily cooking is steady unless if somebody give us a treat or if there's a party somewhere but too many stingy out there. Ha ha! I can understand life's too hard in this country when people panic hunting just for a one hundred dollar bill you know that there is something that's missing and the economy is not that bright and smooth. Cry me a river.
How to make everyone happy in this drying and trying times? We can't ask Linda again if the lake is dry. We can't ask Harper and Row what's next they can deliver on the table. What book or novel will hit at the bestseller's standard?
No one knows!
Time to smell the flowers. At least I have time to smell the fresh scent of real flowers.
