You Know What I Mean?

Supposedly the temperature today is 15 degrees C. It is but it's not really that cold. I don't know why. It's kind of weird right? So I have my little fan on rotating in front of my desk or else I'll get suntan again from the heat coming from my computer. Then another big fan rotating too around the room. I don't want my computer notebook nor my daughter's notebook get toasted.

It's warm here in our new home it must be that the insulation inside the walls  around the house is thick and the right material for protecting the interior and exterior of the walls. Great for autumn and winter season. Outside is just mild temperature, wet because of monsoon drizzles!

We didn't have a big garden this year unlike the previous years when we gathered so much veggies from the garden at the backyard. I missed fresh zucchinis and fresh kales, string beans and the dragon tongue beans. So many vegetables that my husband planted last year such as: beets, cabbage, lettuce, potatoes, corn, zucchini, kales, cucumber, chilis, beans, peas, etc. There's so much bugs this year such as hornets, yellow jackets and wasp. It's terrible! How many times they chased us. When they bite they surely are suckers! Peste! I don't know if one of them is a tse - tse fly. They don't know what hard work really is.

At least when he's not pre-occupied from work and from gardening my husband can go fishing. Yeah next year let see the vegetable garden then will be back to normal gardening.

Well, I have my group of  herbs growing at the backyard that's good enough and two tomato plants that bear fruits nicely and abundantly. Few more days and I can fry green tomatoes.

While me, I used of my leisure time wisely. Remember I'm still the house keeper and the chef of this house. My sewing project has ended and it's time to stop because not only it's time consuming but it's hard on our budget. Textile is expensive here in Canada, unlike in Philippines when textiles are one of the cheapest commodity. Besides, truth is it's better to buy a new dress or outfit from Walmart. Yung mga damit pangbahay. For party dress? Seldom there's a party here and the party need not to be fashionable like as if you are attending the Academy Awards. Yeah far from that nonsense. Ha! It's not nonsense for those awardees and celebrities I know... it's their most spectacular party ever. We don't have it here. Our drama is our own and there's no script. We owned it.

Our floral garden still blooms with colorful array of dahlias and roses. I was thinking of having crimson red and golden colored chrysanthemums but wait till September or October. I forgot to bring the chrysanthemums or mums from the other house that we stayed for few years  before. Good for the new occupants they will surely like the huge size of the chrysanthemums there on the front yard. Its diameter is bigger than the size of a big tire. What a comparison eh. He he he he! It's round and circular and it's like the huge beach ball and when that plant blooms in October there are about a thousand flowers in it and probably even more because it does continue to bloom after Thanksgiving Day.

Morning has broken in the East. A white morning glory is simply amazing. White not blue bell-shape flowers. I had the blue bell shaped morning glory before but husband doesn't like it. This plant has its trellis at the back yard's fence and when he saw it growing at the front he cut it off. Okay. Next time I will plant a morning glory called kangkong and the bell-shaped flower is purple. Maybe it would make a difference because you can eat kangkong ha. I know it would be irresistible!

Big Rock!

Some people had an awesome summer vacation and I don't have any. My husband had a chance almost getting out twice a month with somebody boating and fishing. I get out once in a while when I have to go shopping that's it. Shopping for groceries. I have lots of vacation in my dreams, mostly nightmares and premonitions of the past and of the present.

I would love to go on vacation in Victoria but had the chance to visit that place so many times. First when I was pregnant with Ty. The second time is when Silver Shadow cruise ship docked at the Victoria harbour view.  Third, fourth, then we just passed it by but never stop to stay and if ever wont be going there this year.

Victoria is the capital of British Columbia. The territory belongs to United States of America. Thus, only if you know how to read and look at the map. Do you know Geography?  Victoria city is within the island of Vancouver Island and to make it legal "as it belongs to Vancouver mainland" it should be legalized as capital of BC. Hong Kong has Victoria too. What Vancouver island looks like in the map is shape like a giant leach. Giant dune and the giant hand. Long time ago it was called the golden hind. What's happening is the shape is no longer that "shape" due to many natural causes. You wont believe it belongs to California. So why the hell it belongs to Canada. Huge earthquake shook the area long time ago. There is that huge tectonic plate shifting of plates underground. Dive deep down the Marianas Trench and you'll find out the truth. Where you think I'm getting the story and history?

From the old ancient people who once lived the area. Or because I know Science?

Vancouver Island is always been the enchanted island. When the fog is so thick you wont see the island. Then you wont see the next island. That's why the island is surrounded with so many light houses. Light houses from Quadra and light houses to the next islands helped make V.I. visible to the captains of the boats and cruise ships. Or else bigger boat will be one crucial titanic once again.

H is for Happy Hour!

It is when the weather temperature is colder my intake of caffeine is double than at summer time. About five to six cup of coffee per day during winter and 4 cups of coffee/day during spring and summer.

You wont believe how much caffeine other coffeeholic are taking especially those who are working grave yards. I mean there are workers who are having their night shift and don't want being caught sleeping on their work shift at night so they drink coffee more than its regular allowed.

I love drinking hot freshly brewed coffee when I'm having my dessert of pie, cookies or any delicious pastry. For the time being, moist and delicious carrot cake is good. I don't know about you but cake and cakeries are fascinating to my very sweet tooth. I need to always nibble on sweets, anything sweet except licorice, sweet pretzels and dark chocolate. When it comes to chocolate I prefer white chocolate with higher percentage of milk in it like the swiss chocolate milk. I hate peanuts on it. Almonds are better mixed with white choco.

Cravings for chocolate when Halloween is months away. Hmmm... and Halloween costume? Surprise! I don't have any. Stores should sell funny, gorgeous, beautiful and ugly masks. I would appreciate Venetian mask if they have them in my favorite store. Do I really need costumes? Let me think about that twice, thrice and -------------------------------- ::.::.::. Whatever!

It's when the weather is chilly and pleasantly convenient for right thinking I mesmerize on the many arts and crafts that need to be done. How about you? Do you have some crafts to do?

Surprise me with your woodcraft by making dozens of perfect nutcrackers. Nutcrackers with gorgeous costumes and colors. Something that I don't have in my collection. Make a lot of knick knacks that children can appreciate on Christmas day. Create something different. Provide extra ordinary toys that will amaze so many children in this world.

Start planting ponsettias in different variety. Provide beautiful colors appropriate for Christmas. Let there be red, pink, green or lime, yellow, blue, maroon, orange, purple or violet, and white. My out of this world advice for the gardeners.

Before I go on and on with my story telling let me find out what's happening at the back yard. Yeah the process of smoking salmon is a little bit slow. Can't wait how those salmons taste. Surely, smoked salmons are intended for future use especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas sort of for appetizer.

APPY HOUR!

Wishing Upon A Star

Wow! Superbly beautiful those wall murals above (images). I love the view of the Mediterranean view for the living room. All the scenic views on that page from the Sears catalogue is remarkable of course. You can choose which ever suits your taste for your own home décor wall mural. Instead of nicely painted colored wall it's the mural as big as the wall wide open for viewing.

If there'll be something good for my bedroom I would probably choose something out of extra ordinary such as the solar system for my bedroom. I have a mind like Einstein so that's my favorite. Aahahahaha! With all the nine planets and the sun on the wall. Or the cooler scenery of the mountains with snow on top and lush greeneries at the slope and beautiful flowers that add colors to the view.

A fresh scenery of the lake with all the fall colors and the foliage marks majestically on the horizon and the reflection is shown on the lake and pond.

Have the view of an aquarium. An aquarium with the whales and dolphins. Include all your favorite sea creatures including the little mermaid and Sebastian.

A splendid view of the most perfect cone volcano in the world right there at your own bedroom. But don't wish for its major eruption.

Another view would be the Japanese garden that offers the illuminating radiance of all colors of autumn. Crimson tide color of maple trees and leaves,  the sunken Japanese garden and the drum bridge. Fall awesome colors your eyes can enjoy and  have the Japanese cherry blossoms in its stunning color. Autumn and spring combination. What a radiant mix!

Pleasant scenery of cascading water along side where bamboo groves are and few coconut trees and other vegetation including macaws sitting on branches of trees. Have a garden of Eden setting.

Nostalgic, romantic? Imaginative and creative?

This is who I am ... more than what you can think of.

Looking forward for the WISH BOOK. Oh, I remember that's my daughter's favorite book.

Just A Suggestion and My Opinionated Views

There are millions of people who will go hungry in the Philippines. There are tons of water in liquid form on the lakes, river, and ocean. It will be high tide for the time being on the ocean and there'll be fishes, different kind of fish from those bodies of water. No matter how dirty the water is people will have to go fishing, eat fish and other seafood such as clams, mussels, abalones, oysters, squid, cuttles, crabs, lobsters, octopus and many other sea creatures edible to humans because the supply of beef, pork and many other live stock will be scarce and over priced. The vegetables are probably super costly because of the flood. Rice and other prime grains will be scarce and over priced and hopefully medicine will not go up to its regular priced mark. They should stop or ban any store and pharmacy who will increase the price of prime commodities and most especially medical supply. Make sure the price of drugs, building supply or construction materials be of regular price otherwise ban the hardware stores who increase the normal price or boycott stores whose selling over priced materials.

My God in times like this they should get free medicines or big pharma should provide free clinic to help victims of calamities who are now sick and in need of medical attention. Red Cross should be the front runner to help the victims through the help of big pharma and big corporations who are using the huge pork barrel fund.

One strong voice can make a difference and if you are to adhere the rights of every consumer then you have to unite once and for all.

One strong voice out there the population of a given country should donate one dollar. For example the total population of Canada x $1.00 = your country's total donation for the victims of flood and typhoon in Philippines. $1.00 x total population of America = your country's total donation for the Philippines. For the Philippines need to donate also P5.00 x total population of Filipinos in Philippines = Total donation for the flood victims in Philippines. That's how it should be done.

When it comes to budget CANADA's BUDGET is the total computation of all the natural resources (count the trees one by one) + Total population of Canada= Total Budget for the year. Simple Mathematics. Addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. It doesn't need to be complicated. Even einstein will be happier than thou.

Just a suggestion. It worked before after World War II. It should work in today's generation.

View Finder

I'm reading the weather. Usually it is my indulgence about something supernatural that made me more attach to the weather forecast. Not that I want to become a meteorologist but an environmentalist.

Hey I want to be a mentalist. Ha ha!  Not your favorite television series? You know that from the very start at a very young age I am a very concerned individual who look up in the sky and observe stars and the moon and the sun and the many shooting stars once in a while. All the while those shooting stars are actually satellites.

There are thousands of those satellites up there. Some are no longer of use because their time limit and purpose are already obsolete. Gone are those computers and tech gadgets you used gone obsolete when those satellites exploded from high above the stratosphere. Others fell on the ocean as micro without causing any havoc because it burns right immediately from up there. There are few satellites who had fallen in the past and made so much devastation on the land but mostly on places where there is no vegetation, barren lands, desert area and ice land. Ice land is green land. Iceland is a country. Others cause so little such as causing your computers not to function and television and radios becoming out of order and wont function anymore, including your interact bank cards. Well those are the many reasons why some of your handheld device s and gadgets have problems. Worse of all fear (tears for fears) when your cars, vans and other vehicles wont run because some of them are powered by the chip inside the vehicles. Some of these vehicles are powered through satellites orbiting the earth's atmosphere. I know, been taken for a ride in a Lumina van that when there is a storm or sudden atmospheric disturbances Lumina wont run smoothly as it is then abruptly stop or halt then run smoothly, normally, effortlessly when the sun shines radiantly. Boats and crafts have that same power propelled through solar power engine. That it's best to have dual engine that serves two purposes: automatic and manual.

The above image, one of the pages from the book I am reading right now. I'm not a magician so I settle for the many data and symbols that go with its corresponding equivalence.

Or I could use my magic wand right now. Oh my God!

Symbols for the fronts are amazing. The warm front looks like holes for mice. It looks like an oven for coal. Oh sure it's like the chocolate hills in Bohol. Oh no! That 's funny. Why not lobster trap?

The cold front is similar to the roof. Succeeding roof. Pointy tips upward like in a stock market. Are you happy with those tips? Tip of trees make it a forest. We're going forward. Cooler air is great in Canada. Let us follow the rule of the land and its required climate condition.

The rest of the front are just combination of mountain and hills and forest. Lastly the stationary front is a weighing scale. It acts a bridge. Let's have a Pi ratio.

C'mon I'm not making this up and stop fooling me because I'm not foolish. I am a very smart human being so don't ever try make fun of me.

Beachy Scene With The Lobsters

I love the beach life. I love the beauty of nature. I want to get out and explore...those were the days of getting out is easy and convenient simply because everything is accessible. Now the exploration is through the internet. Just by viewing a website is good enough. If you want to be in another planet, island, and another country just buy a huge mural and paste it on your wall. Then there is that less expensive way to do it by placing your whole persona into that Microsoft software with all the scenic views from different countries in the world.

I happened to find that out when I was browsing something and then saw some group of men and women posing in like model -socialites and the background is a gorgeous beach scene in the Bahamas. It turns out the people are real in the photos but the view is fake. I mean it was real photograph of the beach you just have to paste your body, your face on that scenery. Hmm...

How messy is that? Anyway, I travelled only on few countries in the world. Canada is so big, land (geography) wise that every province should be identified as country not a province. Maybe each province was a country before such as: Quebec is France, PEI and Nova Scotia is considered Norway and Finland. Alberta is Montana and Texas and from where the Drumheller, Calgary is part of Nevada and Arizona (USA). British Columbia is combination of the British Territory. Vancouver Island is not considered as a province of Canada. Not yet. Too small. Consider that Vancouver Island was once the old island of Italy. Whatever! making things complicated. Trying to confuse you. Can't convince anybody? Confuse them as what the saying goes.

Got nothing to do? I did a lot of things today. I cleaned my house and garage. I had three loads of laundry, when clothes dry have to sort them out one by one fold them and others hang them inside the closet. I cooked something simple for lunch, hotdogs and buns. Instant chicken noodles for somebody who doesn't like hotdogs.

I'm craving something special today. Just like this awesome fresh lobsters.

Yes they are real fresh lobsters that move and have mighty strong claws that will bite your naughty hands.

But wait, let my daughter plays with the lobster first. Look at her, how happy she is and unafraid of the claws. Her twin brother plays a different kind of game though. You think twins have the same likes and dislikes? No! They are simply unique when it comes to personality, one is introvert and can be extrovert if one decides. All children, even adults vary with their own personal intuitions, mood, and traits. Character plays an important role in most of individuals. We all have character that is unique and personal. However, don't assume that uniqueness and differences are obstruction to growth.

It's nice to be young and active and without problems.  How not to grow old? How to live without inhibitions and without anything to worry about. How to forget anxiety? How not to be anxious and be normal as what young children who seem to be happy most of the time. I know growing old is mandatory. I wish to be forever young.

Silly me. Any chilis for my lobsters?

Something weird

I know we 've been hearing a lot of old stories and old news, revival and replays. RIP. We've been ripped-off!

So let's have something new. I experimented on dyeing my hair with brown tea plus pantene conditioner.

You wont believe the result. My hair is smoother, lovely  and smells so good. Next time I will try the raspberry flavor tea and see what happen ...

Two Heads Are Better Than One

From dusk to dawn
Chasing
Sunrise and sunset
See what happened

WORKING IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER
offers lots of sunshine.
It can burn you.

Steve Jobs and Wozniak had that problem
They received
BURNS
Actually they had burns
third degree, second degree burns?

What's really happening around the world? Are the news fresh or old stories? Too late for news? Are the news real or not? Real or reel? Propaganda? Just controversial issues trying to lure the people to watch TV and tune in to the radio?

What is goin' on? Tell us the truth. Don't make an issue on small things that never make money at all. What's the money-maker? You think pork barrel makes lots of money? If its real pigs yeah.

Or charity makes money but where is it going? The best of all moneymaking business is without any capital. What kind of business is that?

DONATIONs are money making business. The big problem is who handle those business? People who sell the donation in the form of clothes, shoes, bags, clothing accessories, etc. You don't have to pay volunteers selling the stuff too. And that's the problem.

For one thing have you been a victim of buying stuff from things that were actually "donated items?"
It's okay don't get mad. Don't panic and hurl vindictives. It's okay to buy such goods especially if the money they have to gain from those donated stuff will be used for so many important purposes that the organization intends to do. Now what kind of activities, of use for the amount gained from such sale. The question never stop that's why there should be an appropriation of the stocks. It should be itemized, audited and there should be an accounting of such stuff even if they are in the form of donations.

Problem is they should tell the public that the goods are second hand items. Buyers beware! Caveat emptor! Don't cheat the many buyers. Cheating is nasty! Too bad! Any person with good eye sight can see new from old stuff. If you want to sell old stuff or something vintage please have those clothes and shoes on thrift shop. There are a lot of people buying old stuff but to cheat these buyers you are in big trouble. Remember we are in Canada and worse if you are in the United States of America where consumers are protected and justice for all you'll be sued and have your store closed or shut down for good.

Now let us summarize the route of Columbus. If you know Pacific ocean, Marianas trench and the rings of fire ... of course the route of Columbus is not a myth.

It's the same route by merchants, by the marines traveling the same path around the ocean. Every year is the same route.

They can travel to the Discovery Passage time and time again, year round. Captain Vancouver did that. The usual travelogue on and on, on and on.

What's the point for this travel non-stop?
It's a patrol
We want to catch some trolls!

M A S K A R A

Oh, let me post my beautiful dolls. Both have porcelain face and hands. Aren't they so cute? I bought these lovable cutepies sometime year 2000 I think. My friend EDJ and I decided to shop out of the city to the next city of Courtenay, BC. I spotted these cute dolls inside a box with chocolates in it. My God! They should make some of these dolls again. They are sort of collectibles.

I bought two. I want to buy some more but they don't have other colors and design of clothes for the dolls so 2 would be okay. I didn't realize that I could sew new clothes for them and headdress. Darn! Why I didn't think about it before?

Inspired by Natalie Portman's Star Wars costume or these dolls are actually ahead of Star Wars because let's have to explain it fairly that the dolls were actually made originally from Venice. In Italy where clowns and goblins have those funny, outrageous, outlandish, gorgeous masks during their carnival and festivals to celebrate within the city of lights. Why they have to wear masks?

Well did you know that even heroes wear masks? Jim Carrey's mask serves a unique different purpose.

What's the purpose of wearing mask? Disguised first and foremost. If it calls for the "party theme" or sort of haloween, or on operation, opera drama theme (Phantom of the Opera), or you just don't want others to recognize your face. Sometimes it's a decoy. Yeah wearing masks nowadays is simply a cover.

What kind of cover you have? Why the need to cover your face? Are you ugly? Or you are super gorgeous? Are you a member of the secret society or a cult?

Photo courtesy from Google. Salvador Dali's work of art. Salvador Dali's masterpiece. "The Bust at the Slave Market." An epic obra maestra that distinguished life in different stages. An existentialist's view of life in many forms. Reminiscing, dreaming at the upper chamber and lower chamber of the house. How knowledge of life is passed through time and place. Shh...it's the SECRET.

Photo courtesy from the photo dictionary. A wonderful beautiful mask
designed for the most pretty woman in Venice.

How lovely this blue colored mask

The chocolate factory should make dolls with this blue mask.

Well I don't wear a mask. The secret to this photograph is not photoshop but my shawl and scarf. It didn't make me invisible so that I can give you my invisible hands. Ha ha ha! ( I changed the way I laughed because my copy cat keeps copying the way I laughed). Don't know why she's gaya-gaya. Maybe she likes puto with dinuguan. Know what? I wont copy her cuz she had her nose fixed and she doesn't look like her own mother.  If its photoshopped (my picture) they should have my nose pointy and my lips a little thinner instead. But you know what? I love the background of sunset. I LOVE SUNSET!

Keeping Ahead Of The Game

What's worth blogging today is the miraculous sunshine after four days of showers and thunder. Dust devil even had a quick visit at McIvor Lake which amazed so many spectators. It was seen through the internet (via You Tube and Facebook) and was featured in the local newspaper Campbell River Mirror.

What could be the reason why there's a sudden dust devil? It could be that the area > parking space along the lake is so dry. Humidity plays a role also and simply it can be explained scientifically that maybe, maybe the ISS robotic arm is doing its  space vacuuming sort of. Cleaning the air. Who knows? Can you explain the reason why there's a sudden dust devil that appears in a dry area?

An alien space craft taking the water and air from the surface of the earth? Ha ha ha! Yeah that's funny alright!

Dust devil sometimes appear in flat low lands where acres of dry wheat, barley, oats and other grains are located. It can appear in the desert, actually most of the time.

Just a warning when water is less and scarce on the surface of earth and magnetic force is strong enough to attract energy sure to have some kind of magnetic effect called friction.

A month without rain showers in a certain location will surely create drought. You will notice the low tide is evident and look at the grass at your yard almost dry and dead. However it's already mid-August and the weather is changing its cooler state. Right now it's windy without rain and it's really cool. It's super nice. Tomorrow's forecast by meteorologist is not sunny but rainy. Not a good time to go fishing and boating.

Today's sunshine brought so much fun and happiness because the temperature is cooler and something we can all appreciate, because it is only 18 degrees Celsius.

That's the good thing about watching weather network so that you can be informed of daily weather and weekly weather schedule. Whether it will rain or not on the day you have an appointment on what to wear or simply just helpful informative news that keep you tune in to your environment. Weather information helps you being ahead of the schedule, when to plant, when to go for a vacation and when to go or travel any part of the country or any part of the world. Time  to go fishing ... when is the right time to go hunting. It keeps you ahead of the game whatever games you are playing!

The New Me

STICKY NOTES for Microsoft is really very helpful but one thing they forget to ensure and update is its capacity to store what's been written in the notes. They should have a folder case within this feature. Awesome tool however it is incomplete. For the meantime this is what I'm using to post for my blogs. Blogger-Google has that feature that when you post something or write through it you have to be very fast or else you get carried away by flood of onlookers and other blogger or blog writers who would like to post also at the very same time that you are posting. So to minimize the hassle this is my only resort. A solution I tried before.

One thing, if they want to update the STICKY NOTES they should offer some TOOLS for posting symbols or STAMP LIKE signature for the writer. Or similar to the PAINT tools for Microsoft. Isn't that awesome?

What is amazing is I will write this stuff and then copy and paste what I have written here and transfer it to another format with the special STAMP I personally made for myself, my written works, and my artworks, maybe including my collection of photography (photographs). Okay let's keep the ball rolling now and find out if that will solve what I want to see.

Oopsi it doesn't work. That's what I'm saying. It has a different feature from Paint. It wont be compatible with other stuff. Anyway, here's the sign-symbol I worked on another feature. Looks like a STAMP, right? With extra-ordinary added features to make it look perfect!

Then I realized it's better to have the "copyright" to this effect  ^  above. What can you say? That's better right? WISDOM. The wisdom to know the truth and discern what is false.

Weather Guessing Game

Wildfire in Featherville, Idaho. Flood in Kansas and snowy cold in Colorado and almost autumn here in Canada. Sooner than later it's gonna be super cold as predicted every year. I'm not surprise anymore but it would probably be colder in Saskatchewan, Calgary and Ontario because those provinces are upper part of Canada and closer to the North Pole. So...think that British Columbians are still lucky to have mild considerate climate the whole year round. Thanks that we are living closer to the Pacific ocean. We are fortunate to experience four climate season. Although I could almost hate summer time when the heat wave turned up to over 25 degrees celsius wherein it's is very traumatic. Over 25 degrees even with the presence of airconditioning unit and electric fans are no match to that heat and hot weather of summer. As you probably have heard of so many wild fires raging BC forest. California had tumultous heatwave sensation too burning so much of their forest and real estates, housing facilities and other vegetation and that seems to be normal because looks like every year they experience such devastation. Why that same problem over and over again?

There's no desert here in British Columbia similar to California but if the climate changed abruptly somewhere in Cache Creek and the dry mountainous and valleys in that rigid edges of Fraser Valley sure thing another desert will soon arise because of drought if rainfall wont come sooner than later.

Anyway let us all thank the Lord God that since Tuesday morning the weather temperature subsides from 22 to 20 then lower again the next day and today, the 15th it's only 18 degrees celsius. The highs and lows of climate change. A global warming like no other. Que sera, sera. Wow! For the time being that we have cooler weather let us "Praise the Lord!"

Now, I'm happy and more than willing to blog.

Let's have a slice of watermelon. It's the sweetest watermelon we bought from Walmart. Fresh, delicious and sweet. Their fresh avocados are also a delight to have for cold icy milk shakes or simply sliced them into cubes and add for fresh veggie salad with kraft dressing. Good enough!

Who Were Left Behind?

Profound attachment to leaves is my nature. I don't know why. Maybe because leaves have their own unique colors, texture, shape and size and maybe because they are great for art works.

Sure they are one of the best object for photography who will contradict me with such
elaborate distinction that a certain particular leaf has been chosen as a national flag.

Other countries will choose the sun, the stars and half moon or stripes and trees but a "leaf" to be chosen as a flag is somewhat bizarre.

It could be a trademark of what they are selling or trading or its because the majority of the population like that "leaf."

Wouldn't it be nice if the flag is symbolized with "wheat" instead and it sounds like  wit? Or have poinsettia instead for the sake of the spirit of Christmas. They could have the leaves of oak or other worthy leaves of pine and douglas fir or juniper but really maple is their leaf of choice.

Nine pointed tips within a whole leaf. There must be a true meaning behind such leaf.

Oh well, ask the birds and all the nature's creature within the secrecy. Hopefully the leaves are not bio-genetic or created through laboratory.

That those leaves are created because they are naturally made from the seeds and the growth of a tree, shrubs, bushes, and other perennial.
Having to watch the latest news of so many plants and animals made artificially through a laboratory makes me wanna shout and yell
"Soylent green are people!"

The Next Day After

At age twenty don't expect birthday celebrants to be at home celebrating their birthdays with family and friends from schools and friends from the neighbourhood. At twenty years of age when teenagers are no longer teens but becoming young adults their attitude, behaviour and opinions differ entirely from they were years ago. I, myself when I was 20 years old had to spent that day with my close friends (all girls) . We had so much fun eating out, watched movies first then have to stop at the fastfood. When I returned home, my parents prepared and cooked my favorite food. Of course special pancit bihon is always the maincourse meal for that day. Then my Mother cooked shrimps and crabs enriched with coconut milk, guinataang gabi or the "bicol express." Yun lang ang handa pero happy na ako. At least they always remember my birthday. How not to forget my birthday when it's the date GOLD was found and discovered in the state of California. I don't know how big that gold is that the gold rush was incredibly the start of 'civilization' they never know it will come sooner than later.

Anyway forget about my birthday. It's my son's birthday and he just turned 20. Big 2 0 !!!!!! Wow! Not a teenager anymore. At least he can drive his own car. Being responsible enough and has matured more than his Mom is...Whatever his endeavor, his wishes and goals only him who knows and his Daddy and Mommy are just here at home when he needs our suggestion and advice. He needs to enroll in College as much as possible in University. He's looking forward to enrol in BCIT where his Dad graduated many years ago. BCIT was memorable to my husband because he was elected as Class President for his Batch. Would it be nice in Fraser University together with my son's classmates and friends or University closer to the island? What could be? Where is the best place? Where's the best university in the world that offers like a second home or where the comforts of home, where the students and school staff are most likely we can trust.

As a Mother I always want the best for my children. I want the people around my children to guide and support them and let no harm ever affect them. I think I have this anxiety that never go away especially when my kids are out of my home. I have this panic attack when I cannot see them or when they are not around. Something that I have to keep on praying and warn myself that everything's gonna be okay. God will take care of everything. That's right have to be very optimistic time and again. That I have to remind myself that there are more GOOD PEOPLE for greater good than bad people.

My husband went fishing early morning at dawn. My daughter and I had breakfast of blueberry bagels and fresh hot brewed coffee, milk for Tamara. Cade had his own way of what's best for himself if need be he cooked his own food. Waited for Ty to wake up and when he woke up greeted him HAPPY BIRTHDAY and gave my birthday gift to him. I don't know if he likes the gift or not. He already went shopping yesterday and gifted himself with brand new computer. The hard drive is bigger than normal. Incredible! Looks like a robotic megaforce exterior.

Prepare all the ingredients for the special birthday meal for lunch then my daughter and I watched an episode of Power Rangers: Megaforce. After lunch, which I think everyone enjoyed their meals, I was planning of preparing stuffings for the chicken when husband arrived home from fishing and he thought roast beef is better than roast chicken. He wants to cook this time which allowed me to do what I need to finish today. I asked if he catch any fish because I didn't see anything. He told me he gave all the fish to Romy.

The beef steak with onion rings, roast chicken are out of the meals for tonight. Instead it's roast beef with gravy and yorkshire pudding, vegetable salad, spaghetti and pancit canton with different flavor adding oyster sauce with it, steamed potato and caulliflower. The deep fried prawns with spicy sriracha sauce has long gone I first thought I'll have them for supper. It's okay at least somebody likes it too! I heard my daughter complaining that she had enough food on her stomach. Me too! Now it's time for tea!

I Believe In God and the Power of Prayers!

It's impossible to find the best gift and the right present for such a very extra-ordinary young man whose taste and choice is almost out of this world, that's why we're giving you this "space ship" to help you explore space, the solar system and the galaxies far and beyond.

Oopsi...Mommy's just kidding. I have this awesome amazing sense of humor that is above planet Earth. Excuse me, por favor! I have to find another planet.

Twenty years ago, at age thirty Mommy had that very delicate and complicated labor of love. The pregnancy was already complicated from the very start although have to choose what I believe in that PRO LIFE is the best choice.

My husband and I got married on October 5, 1991 ( the same wedding date for my In-Laws: My husband's parents). Marriage, wedding and family planning is a great  priority. My first pregnancy is a real story of moving forward. Heart-wrenching dramatic episode although it is a real life story. Nothing's fake here! It's all real! It's not a movie. I wish it's a movie. I like movies.

It was a very long movie if ever. lol

It was not my due date yet but I was rushed to the hospital by my best friend  Iris because I was already bleeding. I was scared and teary eyed. I was frightened because my placenta is bigger than normal. According to the gynecologist I had placenta previa and he cannot administer anaesthesia during the labor process. I felt all the pain although I kept myself calm and the labor seems effortless. That's what they think. I was calm and keep on praying silently. I have my loved ones beside me. My husband came rushing all the way from another part of B.C. I have frequent doctors and nurses visiting my room to check on this very long process. Sweat, tears, vomiting, pain and so much pain I cannot understand that kind of pain. It's my first pregnancy. My first labor. I feel like dying. I felt dizzy and sleepy but I keep my eyes wide open. I have to see my baby.

Finally at about 11:20 pm on the third of August 1993, the final push, mighty push my baby has arrived 1 1/2 months earlier into our beautiful world and have seen the light. My doctor had shown me my baby, my very cute baby, weighing 4 lbs. and 11 oz.

Due to exhaustion and a lot of pain I passed out. I woke up on the hospital bed, my husband Lorne carrying our baby on his arms and the two nurses attending to me.

It was an unforgettable memories in the creation of life.

Life is indeed a joyful mystery. I have all the details in my Diary and reading them makes me nostalgic, dreamy and happy.

There is so much to thank God for,  gratitude to the Lord our God who created Heaven and Earth, who created us. We thank you for all the blessings of good food and drinks, the bundles of gifts and happiness to share. Happiness is the only wealth we can share to others so that they can also share the same kind of wealth to anybody who wishes about LIFE. The life-giving process is more than enough, it's a gift and more than a blessing. I'm proud to be a Mother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SON!

Third Rock From The Sun

Thank God the hot  temperature subsides from showers at early dawn today. Only to be sunnier and hotter in the afternoon. Once again the mercury rise up to uncontrollable hissy fit. Go ahead let the fire and  flames engulfed all the dry timber and dry grass. For the farmers such fire and burning is the process called kaingin system. Changing original crop to another crop. The burning seems to help them for the process of replacing coal to charcoal. But is there something that we can do to prevent forest fire? There are so many ways you can control such fire such as: prohibit camp fires, open pit fire when its windy, open burning and cooking on stove outside the house or covered shelter. Stop smoking when you are in the forest just to make sure you don't drop lighted cigars. Don't leave or bring flammable objects or any kind of item that can give instant combustion. Don't even fart.

Oh well, those are helpful remedy for being obedient and for protecting our evergreen forest.

When the weather is hotter and unbearable just take a shower, cold shower is great. Swimming is advisable at the nearest city pool, lake and river or beach but make sure you know how to swim. For young children or the toddlers you can buy a small kiddy pool and have it at your yard where you can fill it up with water. Once the sun's up the water will surely turned lukewarm and children will love splashing warm water and make sure you look after them while they are swimming. Have dry towels handy because sometimes when its windy the cool air can be very unruly and cruel and they might get cold or catch cold whatever prevention, control  and discipline is a must.

For those who would rather stay at home should have to fan themselves with handy fan, electric fan to keep them cool. Good for those with air conditioning unit. Drink plenty of fluids: juice, healthy beverage or pop whatever is good to quench your thirst. Water is still a safe drinking alternative. Make sure you boil your water in places where "known" as "hot spot" for virus and bacteria. Places ravaged by typhoon, storm, tornado and flood.

With all these hassles due to hot weather don't you wish it's autumn already? Wishing for those autumn foliage, healthy colors of flowering pretty joyful  mums. Leaves turning bright orange, crimson red striking awesome colors of a bright new day for a bright new month.

Or let the clock strikes counter clockwise and have spring instead. This is what happened to our weather and our point of destination the island is closer to Alaska when its winter time. The island is closer to California and Philippines at summer time. At spring time, the island is passing through Hawaii and Japan. Frightened? The island is beside a huge continent and it follows its strict axis rotation. Once the snowfalls and the North Pole gets heavier the island is tilted on its axis and the island moves its direction to the north. It's the same every year. The movement is simply like a Pi ratio. Why Einstein studied all these "happenings?" Right, why he's so curious about it? George Vancouver and so many explorers have studied the "movements" too they call these "explorations as PHYSICS.

An island moving to the direction of the bigger continent is something hard to understand? Oh c'mon you wont feel it anyway. You've been here in the island for more than ten years or 20 years and you can't feel anything. You wont. You are used to it already. Hold your head up high and you wont get annoyed nor you wont get paranoid. The island is bigger than your head so whatever movements I told you  wont feel it.
