SHROOMS TO GO?

Above image of mushrooms were from the backyard of our house. I don't think it's edible. I just want to take a picture of it and have at it for a subject to discuss here.

I LOVE MUSHROOMS! Mushrooms=kabute! Mushrooms are really good. I love mushrooms for a grandiose flavorful angus beef steak. There are so many species of mushrooms that are edible. The first time that I have seen and ate mushrooms can be traced from long time ago. Too many years ago when I was a child. 2 ? Suddenly it rained!! Do I have to be shocked? I'm supposed to be the one to know the corresponding number right?  Let's have ONE. Purina Ciao! CIAo! LOL. I remember my Father planted some of them at our garden beside the banana plants. It was like such a grove of banana trees in a circular formation where my childhood friends used to play with our handmade terra cotta pots, pans and jars. He first spread something of a secret stuff on the ground then  he covered the ground with pieces of banana leaves and from banana trunks (saha) in piles after piles but with room to breathe so that air can pass through the dark area from underneath. There is certain technique for them to grow real fast and I can no longer remember the rest of that scene. Days passed by and we saw some white stuff growing from the ground.  It was such an abundant growth of mushrooms enough for us to sell them but we didn't sell, some were given away for others to cook for their meal. All these mushrooms are edible not poisonous. There are certain mushrooms that are poisonous and one of them is the "amanita verna." It's more like a toadstool mushrooms the ones you frequently seen on cartoon animated show "Smurfs." Smurfs used the amanita mushrooms as their homes. They are beautiful colorful mushrooms red in color and with white polka dots. It is similar to a red umbrella with white polka dots.

Haven't seen one yet?

Here it is. The above image is my drawing of  AMANITA VERNA. Of course it is not a shitake mushroom. Darn! Pikachu  and me dancing in front of the amanita verna. Once in a while I get carried away, me being childish. My idea of fun is naturally breathtaking.

Just like what Jackie Chan's said in his commercial, "Come to Hong Kong! It will take your breath away!

While Tori Vega sings "Maybe I can take one more." "Maybe I can your breath away ))))))

Once again I am feeling young, vibrant and too imaginative for your comfort. Can't help it. I was born this way.

JOAN OF ARC, where are you now?

R E F L E C T I O N

Photography time. Might as well post my latest photograph just to show that it is really me posting blog and pictures here and no one else.
How many times in the past that I was questioned that "it's not really me who is in the picture." Well dude there is so called LIGHT that makes us SEE who we are. There's a mirror where I can see my face. Anyone who face the mirror sees their own reflection. There is that mirror that reflects the true image of yourself.

Most of all we all have eyes. EYES to see what we can perceive and comprehend.

VISION, LENS, LIGHT, MIRROR.

Mirror, mirror on the wall.

Ninety Thousand Worth Feat

Any OPPOSITION whatsoever? There are so many opposing sides and you wont believe that most of the sides that I am hearing from both sides now are against such reason to donation of coins. NOT ENOUGH! Spare coins are not enough especially when you can no longer pick-up coins on the ground, on the road and under the sofa. Ha ha ! Right there that's a funny thought it makes me cringe to chuckle once again. Let me tell you about the scandal that was going on for a such a long time, at the time when the Prime Minister of Canada Mr. Stephen Harper went to Peru. I watched all the news through our television and dunno if those news are fresh or news from the past. Simply we don't know. Do you know if those NEWS are fresh, LIVE or OLD news? Fresh LIVE NEWS are expensive, rather COSTLY! Although our TV provider are paid religiously every month still the news are not current most of the time unless of course they will tell us the right date and time in reading those news at our TV screen. For one thing there is that channel that focus on recorded news meaning it was being aired on the television screen although the news was pre-recorded before.

So what's new with the scandal about the C$90,000 cheque? cash? given by Mr. Nigel Wright to Mr. Duffy? It was being debated, heated arguments flashed back and forth through the representatives at the Parliament trying to stir the truth and for what that C$90,000 is all about. Why ONLY now and what that worth of money given to Mr. Duffy? Consider that amount is worth the amount of discussion. What if the amount is the worth for you > parliamentarians to be there in that "venue" to debate over such amount of money will you still go back to the grounds of Ottawa? Such a small amount to be having arguments in a parliament but that amount is so huge for people who doesn't have work. Poor people, people who are deprived, impoverished, poverty stricken homeless people with no money that C$90,000 is already a huge amount to have a house. A house for a mouse! There is no such house that's worth C$90,000 in British Columbia nor in other parts of Canada. The lowest priced house is worth $250,000 +tax. The price of the lot is not included. To tell you frankly the lowest price for a lot for sale in BC is at least $100,000 + Tax. Lot,  not a house! Would you believe?

So what is that $90,000 for? So that there is something to talk about at the Parliament? So that all the Parliamentarians are once again having a reunion, get together? So that it's  another full house where they can mingle with dignitaries? It's attendance roll call? What could be? Paying dues? Collective bargaining agreement? So many questions not so many answers. Not so many valid reasons.

$90,000 worth of a boat or yacht is simply a questionable in its entirety but if its a fishing vessel and the crew are catching so many big fish why not have that boat. Catch all you can then and sell the fish. Hopefully they all are crabs, lobsters, prawns, halibut, tuna and salmons big enough catch so that you can have the bigger profit from all that $90,000 worth.

YOU cannot make up your minds? Pass the BILL! Each one should donate FIVE DOLLARS! Any opposing sides again?

You are in Canada. You hate people who are lazy and doing nothing. However if you are a consumer of goods and services in Canada whether you are rich or poor you are PAYING 14% tax in GOODS and SERVICES that means you are contributing to the ECONOMY of this proud country. Anywhere you turn you have to pay. It's the payment that makes the load easy to bear when times are in turmoil, when times are hard. Who are benefitted from all these payments, from all these taxes? YOU ARE!
I woke up a lot of times at dawn simply because I have to go to the washroom to pee, other than that is to check the time. I can't sleep due to anxiety which is the normal occurrence when I have something to write then finally decided it's best to write them down and go back to sleep. Anxious not to forget what I have in mind and I might forget about it the next day so right there at about 3:45 am have to write them, my ideas. I am not that crazy to write or blogpost everything that I have in my mind. I have reservation for something very important. Very, very valuable and important. Each one of us have those reservations and confidential records because it's a must that we have to have secrets you know especially if you are a "writer."

Then suddenly I heard the garbage truck's noise outside. What? They are collecting the garbage too early? Oh my, it's already past 7 o'clock!! I got up from my bed and washed and cleaned my face right immediately and check the garage if the garbage bin and recycling bin are out. I rushed to open the garage door and was relieved to find out that my husband opened the gate of the garage and the bins were out there and the garbage collector was lifting the bins right on time. Thank goodness. The collector here in this area collects garbage earlier than the previous location we were in. In another area their collectors arrived at past 10 am and sometimes late in the afternoon.

Time to have coffee. I need a hot brewed coffee and while I was at the kitchen the news on TV is on and on and The news kind of a bug-like  repetitious about "liver cancer." Imagine the world news about that mastectomy news about a famous actress and that was enough for all women to get scared about and here's more cancer to scream and worried because sometimes the news keep screaming at our ears like sort of a plague. So much cancer, so much news bad news we have to listen to and be anxious adding so much problems to certain problem we already have. Psychologically you are getting sick by the amount of  bad news you are to hear in a lifetime. Yes dudette, the word is psychologically! Negativity can lower and weaken your immune system. How that happened? Thinking can alleviate negative input to your body's natural defense so it's better to always think positivity. Be optimistic no matter how bad news affect your life. It's your self-defense that makes you alive and productive. We all have defense mechanism to protect ourselves.  Protect yourself with a body shield that keep you away from harm. If the news are all bad and negative shut down your television. You always have the remote control and just pushing the button off can make your surrounding peaceful and quiet. Be a monk for a day or even for a week.  I know it would be lots of calming effect and concentration. Praying in a smooth quiet environment can be of help. Calm your spirit do your dancing and exercising with a good music. If they keep passing the cup for just 25 cents, why not it's just 25 cents. While we all had our turn passing pennies for a cause this time it's twenty five cents. It's heavy on your purse anyway, give your 25 cents. Is that too much to ask? Drop those 25 cents at your school's penny and twenty five cents jar for collection. You know where your SCHOOLs are located right?

What If Only!

Before sunrise this is what the majestic sky has to offer at a very early morning Tuesday. Greyish cloud above just like a beautiful paint in the sky, how wonderful right? Once in a while I love looking up there and fantasize thinking of what my next plan is. What could be the best thing, right thing to do. What can I learn and what I can write. How to weave the right imagination for a story. Stories that are true yet not too redundant and not repetitious.

Yesterday while I was reading about somebody's interpretation of the newly published book somewhere realizing it's best to have somebody's own experience of how that person was able to narrate the whole story , actually not the whole word for word but just a gist of the whole book in his own summary and I was disappointed. Disappointed that the introduction of the said novel is already been seen in a movie. It has something in particular with the movie "Unknown." Darn! How could that be? The famous novelist wont write something like that, it must be a lie. Maybe the critic who wrote the summary of that "book" hates the author. That is shocking! What a waste then if I will buy that book. Maybe no need.

Now you know why there is so much secrecy in writing stories...in making a novel that if ever the writer should go somewhere else in a secluded area in a far, far away remote location where the population is probably just a hundred or lesser than twenty people in a remote village. Imagine yourself in a Shining location of a famous actor. Yeah just to secure that the novel wont be the same as anyone else. However once published and let say hundreds already read the books you'll find out that movie producers are so swiftly fast as lightning in taking, making and producing a movie with the same touch, plot and story from that book. It's like almost an amazing race trying to get it to the silver screen as fast as they could so that if it wont be a hit in written words then it would be such a hit in the cinema. You wont believe how Fast is FAST in today's age and time on how to produce movies. If Blair Witch project movie was a hit with just the cast and crews using ordinary camera lens and flashlight then what could the veteran movie director and producer can do in a glance. Just wink of an eye. Just with the blink of an eye.

Too many magicians in our time.

Just look at the statistics when it comes to population. According to the source the population of the world or let say population of the earth is 6.974 billion. That was in year 2011. It's probably 8 BILLION now. What the hell! You are having problem counting millions then in billions? Yuck! How can you feed billions of people? Include the population of animals and by the end of the year, just even months and you'll suffocate with the gaseous substance, air that you will breathe. Thank goodness there are plants. There are forest, the trees and other green vegetation helped absorb the carbon dioxide around us or else will be filled with toxins and unwanted poisonous gas in the air and water.
What if the total population is 10 billion people and the total budget is equivalent to its number of people in the world as in $ 10 billion dollars, do you think that's enough?

Maybe yes. Maybe not. If $10 billion is the monthly budget for the whole population  around the world that is more than perfect. But that's not the real case. That $10 billion dollars probably the budget for the year and that's the biggest problem the world is having now and then. It's crazy right? Even if you double and triple that amount in yearly budget wont be enough for life to exist. The normal budget for certain countries with bigger population should be in TRILLION DOLLARS! Lesser than that amount is crucial and doom. Unless of course the statistics office is lying about the true nature and number of the total population of every country around the world. Hopefully the statisticians did not include the dead in its total population count, only the living!

Mapquest

While standing at the dockyard, at the pier observing the many views that need observance, the many beautiful spots that were before me admiring the scenery the beauty of the land and the sea. I went at the back of the ice cream store at the pier and noticed double rainbow at the horizon. Magnifique! I never seen such a double rainbow before so that was awesome. Then I glanced again at the island across the dock. Quadra Island seems such a mystery up to now. Quadra! From the word quadrangle? Instead of triangle it's quadrangle! Square!! However, look at the map. Is the map, the shape of Quadra island square? It is shaped like a bird. Weird right?

How could a quadra is shaped like a bird? Anyway that's for your mind to tackle with. Four sides, four points. Maybe your medulla has something to do with it. Yeah touch your back , the back of your head if its there. Still there? That's good. Congratulations you have what it takes to win it.

What about the Bermuda Triangle? So many stories about Bermuda Triangle. So many interesting stories, so many mysteries and up to now experts cannot explain all those mysteries properly. So let us look at the map again.

The triangle points to the three islands: Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Florida. Stream of currents flow from the Gulf of Mexico to the Caribbean Sea. Maybe somehow the interference with the currents from the Pacific ocean has something to do with the whirlwind. Oh well, look at the hand shape island and you'll know that arm will surely toss somebody's boat there. It's kind of funny when animated cartoons can better explain such islands and their mysteries out there. For me there is no secret in that map configuration. Nothing.

So what's new in here? Discovery Islands been passed through so many by boaters in the past so many times and still is a passage through merchant marines, cruise ships and sail boats sailing and cruising the waters that belong to Canada.

George Vancouver sailed and explored the Discovery Islands back and forth and the mapping, exploration and discovery was passed through to him by Captain James Cook. The route was then established from Alaska up to Tahiti. Why going up and down through that route? It's just like being in a cruise ship the route is simply a travel route for passengers, merchants, marketers, tourists and a lot more of important travel purposes for so many of those aboard the ship. Shipping process for goods and services to the many islands in that area. Finally after a serious talk with the Spanish governor the explorer was able to have a "station post" at the Vancouver Island so that at least there is that so called nesting and resting place for the whole passengers and crew aboard the ship. What else could be the reason? Tell me Mr. Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States of America.

.
Why I keep posting the . there? It could be a lightning point or just a dot to point out any obstacles here at the Blog Post community. I have so many stories to tell but not in the mood to relate them to you. Right now or just a while ago I managed to get busy reading old books. I read the local newspaper too. What a coincidence that my "subject" has something to do with their front page cover. Wow! Monticellobell? lol.

Last night it was time for us to clean the oven. It really need some cleaning and thank God it is a self-clean oven. It takes three hours to have that process finished to a spic and span. This morning have to check it. There are certain spots that are not clean leaving with few dark spots that I have to manually scrub with a damp cloth. I used a gauze-like cloth to clean the oven and wiped the entire oven surface. What are those marks left behind? Powdery stuff as if it's volcanic dust or something. Yuck.

That reminds me of the Mount Pinatubo eruption when the volcano had its major explosion the volcanic dust was carried by wind to different parts of the province, even landed on the roof of our house, on the roads, streets, highways, every where the ashes and dust spread like powder. How many were affected by Pinatubo? Millions of people living in Luzon.

Enough of that volcano. I was just being nostalgic of a tragic incident that is uncontrollable. To tell you frankly I haven't heard of Mount Pinatubo before only after it erupted. Because that area, that location is where Sierra Madre is. I think. Uhm, dunno who is manipulating the world map. Tell me...Who is configuring and manipulating every island, continents and the whole world, and  atlas. For what? That Nootka Sound has been changed to Vancouver Island because it was discovered and explored by George Vancouver. That Nootka is no longer an island that belongs to the Naughty Girl. But one day that Naughty girl whom you called stupid will rise up again from her crystal casket. Of course that girl is not Crystal. Damned you! Yeah sounds like Japanese eh? The world map is now a scattered puzzle that it needs putting back to its original place, location and for those pirates and thrill seekers what could be the best game for them? Trivia? Puzzles, world map, treasure-hunt, amazing race, etc.

For the most part there is only one who knows the origin of the earth. There is only one who knows everything.

While my husband is busy sorting his fishing rods and lures outside the house near the garage I noticed so many flying insects on those chives. The chives on our garden are purple not red. I came closer to find out that those insects are not horse flies, not a house fly, not a che-che fly  but honey bees. Sure they are honeybees sucking the nectar from chives. Those bees didn't mind whether I'm closer to them even if my digital camera is much closer to them nose to nose. Shocks. The taste and smell of the chives are probably special to them. Chives are from species of onions. What's good about onions? Red onions are good for salad and burgers. Yellow onions are for cooking, saute' and soup.

I'm not into transparency here I am just blogging. I am not even into invisibility cloak just because I am honest doesn't mean to be using invisible hands most of the time.

Simple Water Solution

Did you know that it's best to replace your Brita water filter every two months? However if you think the water system in your area is safe and the water is clean and safe enough to drink without the need for Brita filter pitcher you can change you pitcher's filter every six months.

I knew of some people who changed and replaced their Brita filter after a year. Know why? The Brita pitcher with one filter in it as a set is cheaper than the Brita filter replacements. It's true.

Anyway, once you took the used filter from your Brita pitcher did you noticed something unusual? The used filter is heavier that you can ever imagined. Then weigh in your new Brita filter. Noticed that the new filter is very light in weight compared to the used one. It is not because it still has water content in it but it has sediments and other tiny, very tiny metals in it. Metals and minerals trapped through that filter. What kind of minerals? That you have to ask the experts.

You wonder why so many had surgery and operation in your area, so many had gallstones, stones in their bladder. So to make sure that you have safe and clean drinking water everyday have Brita filter.

Water, water so precious than gold!

You think this is sort of an advertisement? Honestly it is sort of an informative and  educational message from me.

Now let's have breakfast.
Porky and eggy fried rice for breakfast is good plus hot brewed coffee is the best.
Drinking water from your Brita is fabulous.
Keep you safe from harm.

Birthday, More Birthdays To Celebrate

It's the breadwinner's birthday although his favorite viand is anything about chicken that's what he is missing on that special day. No, not really mean here. He had a roast chicken with stuffing the other day so not to spoil him and my kids with too much chicken menu.

Special chow mein or pancit is the most common food when there's a birthday celebrant in my family. Pancit is for long life, happiness and strength or vigor. I love pancit, vermicelli noodles combined with farkay noodles, that's really yummy food. We seldom have prawns as big as a saucer measuring up to eight inches head to tail not including its whiskers. So I might as well post them here. Veggie salad as always but this time it's the Greek one with parmesan cheese and chopped red onions. I preferred mussels soup with lots of ginger, good for the throat. Keep colds away. It has lots of iodine in it. That's what they said.

Yummy, tasty salted prawns. Squeeze the lemons please.

Baked sockeye salmon. Simple ingredients, simple cooking keep the taste deliciously perfect.

Not according to your taste? Why not try to cook the sockeye salmon on hot peppered coconut milk with fresh mushrooms. Add red jalapeno chili on top. Let them scream hot, hot, hot!!!!!! Yup hotter than wasabi.

Prawns cooked with coconut milk plus green beans, spices, and voila it's the best tasting viand ever.

So toast, skohl, and cheers to the birthday celebrant for the wonderful fabulous birthday filled with great food. May your birthday's joyous, unforgettable and meaningful. God bless you today and always that you may receive so much blessings and share them with your family.

H A P P Y   B I R T H D A Y  with LOVE!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Despite what we are all hearing, listening and watching on round-up news around the globe, news that were worthy and unworthy, devastating news of calamities and uncontrolled disaster we can all just be vigilant, pray that it wont happen in our own community, in our own city. Let us pray for the lost souls and those who were affected by Mother Nature's fury such as earthquakes, flood, hurricanes, twister or tornadoes.

For the living, life goes on whether we like it or not.

There is so much to do, so many little things to do.

It was the celebration of Queen Victoria yesterday for Canada and the natives want it changed to "People's Day." Why? Oh, I know they love Queen Victoria but they don't want it known as Victoria Justice of Victorious most popular teen show on TV nor Victoria Beckham (who's husband David Beckham just  recently retired from the sports of soccer, his main source of income). People, people just leave Queen Victoria alone and her birthday. If you want another day to celebrate First Nations please celebrate it on another day after her birthday. Thus, making a two day holidays. Wow! So much fun that way, okay?

Now, who will sign that for a holiday? The Queen of England may sign or reject it. She has the power to have People's Day or Peoples' Day whatever or you may call it First Nations Day. People to people. Once it is signed what will happen?  You'll change it because you don't want it same name with the People's Power of Edsa. You don't like it with the same brand name with People's magazine and People's Jewelry shop. WTH!!!!!

So please make up your mind. Find a suitable name for a good holiday that you can enjoy as a "people." You must remember "people" might resonates with "People's Republic of China." Do you like communism?

People, people who needs people.

In the end it needs actually  FEEpole.

Ya sure pay the feepole so that they can do something worthwhile and they can be happier in this world for we all know money makes the people happy, healthy, and wise!

Truth Be Told

So what's really NEW with Google +? Let me see. Is it faster or just too slow? Then the pop - up pink ribbon above the composition table suddenly appeared.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
An error occurred while trying to save or publish your post. Please try again. Ignore warning.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
That kind of warning is the bugger's warning. Pinky? Who knows eh? Strange and bizarre!

There above is the warning but you can ignore it anyway. So, as usual the Google + inventor is not that smart really. How many times in the past that there are smart ass trying to make that "upstart" moves to make themselves great to the higher ups but its always been to the point of destroying the company's values and overall performance. It's true. That's why Blogger was sold to Google. Hopefully Google wont lost its billion dollar value because so many are trying to destroy it by adding variety of apps that are unnecessary. Apps from other "fly by night" companies. I don't think Brin and other Google managers knew what's happening around the blogworld and what's goin' on within their own company. It's such a huge internetworld out there so it's best to trust your own instinct and I value Google's philosophy. Don't be evil. Bloggers we'll continue to blog no matter what. No matter how many monkeys here in the world wide web. No matter how many spice, spies, bugs and spiders. Cheers to the blog world!

At The Famous C. R. Pier

Inspired by the Old Yeller and the Quakers I have this drawing of a ambiguous representation of a woman in an 18th century costume. So while in the mood painting this woman with the background that is awesomely amazing there is that one track mind that reminds me of Munch. You know Munch right? Munch the painter who was famous for his "Scream" painting. The SCREAM painting that was stolen so many times in the past.  I wont name this drawing of mine for Scream of Munch nor Scream, the popular teen thriller suspense movie for I have this image entitled "YELL." I know kind of funny though.

The Pier should have an image of that woman or provide a statue where the visitors to that area will place or pop their face to the slot for picture-taking. Most common photo fun filled amusement for adults and kids.

Discover the billboards with educational information about the names of fish in different species. Go fish!

Oh yes, you can go fishing there too while you enjoy your ice-cream, have a picnic of burgers, hotdogs and fries.

Sight-seeing? Bring your digital camera, tech gadgets and admire the endless possibilities. Something good to see and mesmerize. Have your telescope or binoculars on your hand, lens on your eyes while you view the boats, sail boats and cruise ships passing by. You can focus your lens to Discovery Passage and the beauty of Quadra Island will surely entice your senses.

Never-ending things to do while you visit the island with your family or friends.

Only
Only if the weather
good weather permits.

What Makes The World Go Round

ARTS and ENTERTAINMENT in short A & E. That's what happening all around the world. Need we add more to this kind of lavish spectacle?

WE ALL should work properly. No one should be idle in times when there are so many work available. Many work that 's why volunteers are much needed. But why volunteer when they should pay you for working. You exerted energy, you cannot waste your time and energy. You cannot run you car or vehicle without paying for gas, oil and its maintenance without money. You cannot eat without money to pay for your food. You don't have money you can't pay your bills, housing, mortgages and all the necessities in life. MONEY, money, money and price tags.

You wont be happy without money. Let's all be practical after all the sign of intelligence is having financial rewards, with money on hand, pocket, wallet and bank account. That's what high IQ means not what you know but the amount of financial stability. So stop all the nonsense don't have to repeat this time and time again. Don't copy Einstein who was poor until his last breath.

Space Oddity

After a day's house cleaning, re-arranging things and stuff including knick -knacks then planned for family's dinner. It's hard to plan. You know that it's simple and easy? Sometimes I get lazy too when everything becomes redundant. Eating the same kind of food. Eating the same kind of veggies because there are nothing available in the supermarket.  The supermarket here in Canada do not have the same complete variety of vegetables that are present in the normal wet market and supermarket in Philippines. There are no complete variety of fish being sold here. You can only choose from salmon to frozen mackerel, frozen carp, frozen herring but they are used as baits, few trouts, canned tuna, ling cod and red snapper is you have to go fishing for that. There's no galunggong, sapsap, biya, dilis, tawilis, etc.
When it comes to veggies? You can only buy at least the same kind of variety: bokchoy, pumpkin's, eggplant, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, corn, broccoli, spinach, chayote, cabbage, zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, celery. That's it. Nothing else. In Philippines you can choose from hundreds of vegetables at the market. Veggies that white people do not eat, that's why those vegetables such as: malunggay, camoteng talbos, cassava leaves, breadfruit, jackfruit, banana heart, young bamboo shoots, taro leaves, pumpkin's flower, fern, upo, patola, young chili leaves, and many edible veggies from the province are not available here.

It was supposedly Mother's Day yesterday but because it's also falls for Pirate Day...I greeted my Mother earlier in advance. He he he. I should have watch the parade and the search for treasure chest but nobody wants to get out of the house.

It should have been fun right? Anyway we all enjoyed our time just being at home. Do computer work, watch TV, keep busy, make everyone feel happy . Make the home less stressful and  harmonious by being quiet. Try being independent, relax and attend to the work station if needed. Yeah, my home feels like the Space Station in 2013: Space Oddity.

What my good husband gave me for Mother's Day? A brand new Notebook! Wow! I love my husband! Thank you! I love singing M & M's chocolate's theme song. Haha! My husband thought my computer Notebook has been plagued with virus and no longer capable of its work so he bought a new one. Nice, beautiful Notebook featuring Windows 8.

Everybody loves roast chicken with stuffing except one member of the family don't eat chicken so we have pork sinigang for soup. SOUP? Why not? Sour broth is good. Prawns sautéed in shredded garlic on hot melting butter is aromatic and delicious. Greek salad is fantastic at heart's contentment. Steamed broccoli for veggies, steamed rice as always. Steamed potatoes with hot gravy on top, what else can you ask for? We saved at least $200 worth of savings just by being at home on Mother's Day. Being at the restaurant on that special day is probably good and fabulous but we don't like to sound bitter after wards.
I could have fresh flowers but I have a garden with flowers blooming in May. More flowers to bloom comes June and July.

The Old Man And The See Version

I don't know what it is but whenever I go at the downtown area there are old people who approached me and asked about things that made me think twice and get confused for a while and then later when I get home and looked at what I blogged recently made me aware that the olds are probably reading my blog entries or blog posts. Dude they know how to read.

First there were some comments that were rude in the past. Others were just ridiculous and few are sort of pleasantries that can make me smile but unable to reply right away because I'm not sure if I was the one they are talking to because the comment is not straight to the point and it's just "pahaging or indirectly focus on me." They can't be talking alone while they were in front of me eh? I mean they should talk straight and directly that they saw my blog post and they have to say what they meant of such word or statement.

I was in Dollar Store  weeks ago and the old man asked me where the soup is. Why is he asking me soup when he is at the Dollar Store? So I told him to go to the aisle with shelves where canned soup is located if there's any over there. Later on I realized that maybe the "Lighthouse  painting of Aunt Helen" meant for them as the sign that offers "Free Soup kitchen." OMG! There is that free soup kitchen somewhere in Salvation Army I think. They also are in need of commercial cooler for their kitchen. There is that free soup at Walmart where they offered small portion of soup for tasting advertisement.

Schools (Elementary and High School) should offer free soup for the young students. Only if there is a donation of canned or non-perishable food. Or donation of vegetables from gardeners or if the schools have their own vegetable gardens where there are abundance of veggies that they can cook and share to the students. In other schools they used this soup kitchen for collecting fund for the school. Soup are not free but you are to donate in "any amount" which the school treasurer has to keep and deposited in the bank for "school fund." The fund is meant to pay for school's extra curricular activities or field trip. Sounds to be a good idea when there is that so called school budget cut eh?

I don't have soup kitchen here for free. What I have is a BLOG. I blog post whatever is inside my mind. It 's not meant to be creative most of the time but because I love to write and make sure also that whatever I heard will be heard by other people, also and be given attention. So, if those people are looking for soup they have to visit Salvation Army  Soup Kitchen. Also ---->They are in need of $3,000 - $4,000 worth of commercial cooler. Who will donate such amount to buy a cooler? How you can buy such cooler is to ask payment for soup. Dollar for a bowl of soup. That's how. There is no such thing as free anymore because you are paying your electric bills for cooking and dishwashing. For the cooling system? You have to pay for such hydro or electric bills too.  Simple as that. In the Philippines where there are so many people suffering from poverty there is no such thing as FREE FOOD unless there are calamities: flood, earthquake, drought, war,  and if there is an occasion such as parties. Think. Canada is not a poverty stricken country. It's not what those politicians are campaigning as such. The housing is costly here I know that but having to see so many of these people having nice cars , trucks and vans that are worth more than $30,000 to $50,000 they can live in heir vehicles. J/K. Have you seen those beautiful houses, condos and townhouses equipped with nice appliances? Who are starving in Canada? The high standard of living is costly. EXPENSIVE! It's all for the house, for the hydro bills. What's for the food?

Did you hear news about those military men who are in Afghanistan? Their budget has been cut too. According to the news their $500/monthly allowance will be cut off too. Bad news alright!

There are so many refugees many of them that need assistance but why let the seniors of Canada suffer, why the soldiers and the Veterans  suffer with small amount of monthly pension and let those refugees get half of Canada's pensioners money? Think of the pensioners first because they worked so hard and they are legal citizen of this country. Refugees  with no legal papers and they don't even know who they are and you and the government don't know if they are criminals in their land that's why they fled from there. I'm not getting bitchy here I'm just saying I can't see poor people unless if those old people get to the point and tell the government about their disappointment. Their frustration is not heard much by those government representatives.  So maybe, maybe through me you'll know what's happening. You'll know the situation only if they have a voice.

I don't know if I have to post this publicly because those refugees might get back at me. It's really up to the government to work on what pleases or what's good for those people. Who they have to protect and serve? You have to give them the scale to weigh - in and tape measure to measure to be sure.

To label this blog post entry is crucial. It could fall under "Wit and Humor" although God knows what's really good for all of us.

HOME Is Where The Food Is

The rewards program is always FOOD. In the form of food. Why always food when there are so many prizes to choose from? Like for instance in the form of cash, cheque, gifts like clothes, shoes, fashion accessories, house, car or any automobiles.

In Pavlov's theory of experimentation with a dog salivating over food while being tied to a post food is the ultimate reward.

Watch the Survivor television series and you'll find out how much the contestants crave for food after skills of arms, mind and mind-boggling wrestling with trivial pursuits. But at the end of the series or the end of the show it's the US$ 1,000,000 at stake. Wow! In Amazing Race TV show offers million dollar prize too.

So many of these death-defying television series offering such money grabbing contest but only if you win that contest which I heard is more like a gag or prank. Is it? Well widen your eyes. Open your mind if the contest is really what is supposed to be. Will you jump from the airplane down to the land through parachuting and sky diving? Will you swim and dive through the depths of the sea? Will you cross- ski, surf through high tidal waves? Will you fly up high in a super-sonic jet and made the loop around the sky? Will you ride the plane every time you cross one country to another? Will you eat something that you haven't try eating in your life? Will you swim on dark waters whether that water is toxic? Will you jump and sommersault, do the gymnastic approach even if it will break your legs and limbs? Will you swim on shark infested water and crocodiles swimming along with you?  Will you risk your life for one million dollars?

So many people would like to TRY such stunts so extreme and death defying because you have all those training in becoming a military, navy or army yet these soldiers are not paid million of dollars.

What can be the magnet behind MILLION of DOLLARS? It's MILLIONS dude! Nobody have $100 dollars in their wallet or pocket in Canada or the US. Million dollars is such a lot of money and you can bet those millionaires don't even have such amount to play with. Because Banks don't really have cash account nowadays. They were all loaned to people who cannot pay.
I could be wrong. Maybe there are some few people out there with cash money. Maybe debit and credit is just a part of the Utopias or Utopian economy. The Just Utopian Economy where profit and wealth is shared by the whole country, by the whole population  HOWEVER, it depends on who govern the country. That's what it is...it depends who are your leaders. A corrupt greedy leader wont share a wealth that belongs to the whole country.

A democratic country will always be democratic. The Bureaucratic will always be bureaucratic. Then the Republican will always be serving the RepubliCAN. Joint-forces. Self-serving for what is good for the good of society, the country and the whole world.

Food is shared for those people who shared their food. Food is shared when everyone works. Food is shared because a family is a unit that believes in sharing. Sharing food for the party called potluck is shared not everyday but occasionally. You cannot share your food to anybody everyday. You are not that rich and people who are rich don't share their own food, most of the time they will share food given by other people and they will just see to it that it is being distributed to other people. The reason why some wealthy people become rich it's because they don't spend on impulse and they use their brain. Practically people who are rich today are stingy, thrifty and they don't care about what they eat, what they wear, and honestly they don't waste their money just to be popular.

For the most educated, socialism is not the ultimate way to live harmoniously. For they know that equal pay for equal work is simply not the jurisdiction to set things straight. There is that "seniority" of being ahead to that kind of work in the workforce. There is that special skills that govern such work.

We cannot be equal. There is no such thing as equality. It's always been the result of your work that matters. It is the end result or finishing of work that values your work if the work is done or not. The ending is WORK is paid in Cash or cheque. Done! Food is not the payment for work. You are not a dog or a cat to be paid with food.

We all have to eat whether we work or not at home. So thank you Mother. Thank your Father and Mother because without food we wont be able to live and we wont be able to work.

Say your grace. The Lord's Prayer is still effective 'ya know.

Anyway, when work is done it is DONE! Food is served. You ate the food. You had fun. You enjoyed every bits and pieces of that food so CHEERS!

Problem solved? If the problem is not solved... not satisfied with the food? Find another chef. Find another restaurant. Find another home?

The Rat Race

Remember this image above? Cartoony image. Introduction to Psychology book featured such image in it and I found it so cute. Actually it is funny can't help chuckled at the thought of its message.

What's the maze? What's the puzzle about?

Intriguing as much as it's controversial. That's why it was chosen to be part of a Psychology book by Atkinson and Hilgard. I love reading books pertaining to such  Psychology subject. Philosophy is great too and any Science fiction books but mostly about anything that tackles the truth on what's happening now and in the future. Clairvoyance for one thing is interesting.

In that image above another mouse is offering a map. Helping another mouse. It's hard to get out in such maze or puzzle. What about in a T Maze? T Maze is way too easy. You get in and out in such a manner that you only get what you want because it's not complicated. Reward is just right there for you to see right away. No conflict straight to the point. There's no crook. Don't be a crook!  It's simple. It doesn't complicate anything. Just be straight. Wag kang magpaligoy-ligoy pa. Wag kang madrama. You can't find what you are looking for? Find another T Maze.

What's the maze in space? What is your goal and purpose in space? Is that your job being there? Saving the planet? Fixing something? What's really the work of astronauts?

Have you learned PLATO? Who's not paying the payload?

It's the rat race and there are always faster rats than you. You wont believe that even babies are competing with the race! Imagine?

To My Loving Father With Love

According to the survey the best place to study is where there is tight competition so that you and the examiner will eventually find out who amongst the best have the ability and capability to compete and end up winner. The winners are the educators of students who gained knowledge from them and winners are the students who learned enough and gained knowledge from the educators. But for the most part the educators who received incentives and rewards including their students who are financially rewarded as well. BOTH educators and students are the recipient who else would be? Did you forget somebody else? Don't forget that you have parents whom your natural biological genes of empowerment came from. They are your first source of education. You wont be intelligent today without your parents who nortured you during the times when you need those natural educational background and brain endowment. It is from your parents from whom your intelligence came from no doubts about it. Intelligence learned or acquired through years of study can also be a part of the whole integral system.

An old photograph of my loving and caring Mother carrying me here, holding on to the piece of paper. In the photographs also are my grandmother, my sister, my two brothers. My two younger brothers are not born yet in that period of time. What could be that piece of paper I'm holding on and what was written on it? It could be one of my doodles, my drawing, list of grocery for my Mother to remember. It could be a prayer because we were at the front porch of the church. We went to attend the mass in Antipolo Church. At the background is the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I remember the Hinulugang Taktak (Pagsanjan Falls) near the church. My Father not in the picture was on tour duty which I don't need to elaborate. How could I remember such memory? Could it be every time that my Mother showed me the photograph she used to tell me the story again and again? Could it be the repetitive storytelling made me remember stories of long ago? What could be? It could be a secret.

Anyway, what's the true relevance or essence of this story? Just to let go show the world that my memory is awesome and amazing? Ha! Who cares I heard so many rants from so many people. They don't really care. Who cares? Nobody cares but those people whom my Father helped during the war in Vietnam. He was in the Medical Team. The Medical Team: International Red Cross, American and Philippine Red Cross joint forces to SAVE soldiers and civilians who were injured in that long battle in Vietnam. To further tell you the very long story is just really incredibly long. Long memory. I have a very long memory. Longer than the Nile river. Higher than a mountain. So really no need to remind me nor you about this but because it's my Father's birthday today; therefore I am more than grateful that I have a good, great amazing, awesome father in the world. There is no one like him. My Father the hero, the smart one and who's talent unequal and most of all his courage and bravery as a veteran is simply unforgettable and remarkable.

To you my dear Father

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Wishing you many more birthdays to come.

Also to you my dear
MOTHER

HAPPY MOTHER's DAY

You are loved
TODAY, ALWAYS and
FOREVER!

It's The Price Tag

What to expect today? The unexpected? There are so many un-expecting moments yesterday. First, I was able to have my daughter get out of the house and we went shopping at the newest shopping mall called Target. It was at the location of the old Zellers store. The main entrance door has been changed farther away from the middle. It's now at the left side of the building. Why not eh? Their color motif logo is in red. Target circular logo is of red color. Red polka dot.  Not bad really for it calls attention. I mean it's bright and striking. At the front main entrance they have those big red round concrete boulder? Or just that its concrete cemented adornment best suitable for sitting and patrons of that big box store really have fun sitting on them. Across the store is the view of the ocean and harbour.  We went inside the store and there were two middle-aged women who stood there at the front with the cart and not moving. The aisle is free of barrier, she can go and move but she just stayed there blocking us. I moved my cart to the right and moved forward. We're not there to sight-seeing tour or something. We're there to buy and compare commodities. We are regular shoppers good consumer with the rights and privilege and we know what good quality commodities are. My husband went straight to the men's section which is farther to the right hand side of the women's section. He was quick and fast to choose which one he likes to purchase: denim pants and two polo shirts. Better quality? Good price? When it comes to quality it is simply almost the same quality as Mark's and when it comes to price tag I consider fairly that is affordable although they are in a regular price, these items you can purchase at lower price at Walmart. Remember they have that deal wherein you have to show a similar item from another store and Walmart will compete with lowering their regular price marked items. However it depends though. Would you haggle for such price and quality? I know of few people who's into haggling in department store and it makes it inconvenient for other customers. If they want to do this kind of system they should have a special department or section of the store for that kind of service. It wont be called Customer's Service but Haggling Service Section. Name it "Tawaran." Just like what's happening in Divisoria and Baclaran. You like the item? But the price of the item you like is expensive you can ask the vendor or store keeper to lower the price for you. I know it's bizarre but that's the usual situation in a bazaar or open stalls or even in the wet market where buyer and seller have that similar tug of war with the price tag. Then in the end they settle fairly to what is best for both of them. It's fun eh? That's the kind of laizzes faire, common trade done in pleasing both buyers and sellers. Amazing!

My husband left us after he's done choosing his choice of clothing and he told us to take time and do our shopping. We moved around the mall and what can I say? Yeah, it's no longer the old former Zellers, of course it's another store with nice and neatly arranged goods and services  quite pleasing. They have polite sales clerk and everyone seems happy and attentive to their job. What stuck to my senses when it comes to their clothing's brand name is that of Roots, Merona and Mossimo. Brand names that Walmart and Zellers have them in their own stocks. I kind of think that they are just a branch of Walmart. I could be wrong. When it comes to shoes...I'm not really impressed. Their cosmetic section is neat. Not much to see. I mean it's not what I expect. Or simply the first opening of Target in Ontario had its negative ad campaign already and that messed up things. Bad. Maybe because they are still waiting for their other stocks to come in and they only opened their store last Tuesday. So shoppers give them time to feel wanted and besides they employed some of your kids here in this city so what the heck right? Don't be so mean.

Maybe we all want to be surprised and happy because there is not much to see in this boring city. Right there I'm so mean.

Mostly seniors I'm seein' there at the mall. Some talked so loud and can hear what they are saying  makes me laugh. One older guy was asking, "is it really San Jose?" Is he talking to me or what? Oh you bet there are more old people in this city than any other place in the world. I think it's because of the Retirement Program that the former mayor had it planned for this big city...for the retirees. Not bad. I don't like being mean for such a nice, clean and orderly arrangement of things inside the store. However they should mark their price a little bigger for customers to see. Remember the shoppers are mostly old people. The seniors of these community would like to see that every items are correctly marked with price tags that they can see right away not hidden or blurry. It could be tacky but it's best to let them see that price tags are easy to see so that they wont get furious at the cashier's desk. Just an observation. I should be a sociologist eh?

We went shopping at Walmart and we received a different kind of welcoming effort when we asked one of the sales clerk for the small electric fan for my computer so that it wont get heated due to hot weather. You know computer esp. laptop and notebook should be placed in a very comfy convenient location in your home. Expensive computer, device, tech gadgets should be taken care properly by providing enough air. As much possible you should be in an air conditioned room. Wow! Hmm...just like good people should have that kind of care, attention and nourishment. Computers are like a plant that need constant appreciation, upgrading, you must talk to it too when nobody's talking to you. Isn't that's what's happening now? You are talking to a computer.  By providing its utmost care especially when it's the source of employment. Yeah just like that. Your computer is the source of employment for so many of the new generation of today.

Oddity

I missed my computer notebook. I was sad and lonely for about three days unable to log in. I don't really know the cause of sudden "black-out." It could be the hot weather is doing it to my machine and to the television. What could be? The television set that we had for about three years , could be a guarantee that it will only last for 4 years and you need to buy a new one which we already did. Nothing last forever. While my computer notebook... I have too many reasons why my notebook had that sudden, abrupt black out and there's nothing I could do but push the button to set it up again and again. But nothing appears at the monitor screen. The screen is black for days and days. I was thinking it was hacked. My data inside my computer was hacked. I could be wrong. It could be that my notebook was overheated. It could be my notebook is already full of data from blogs, from Facebook, from images but my notebook has enough space. I used to check my notebook space and I have enough space because this notebook has enough 500GB. Unlike other computer my Notebook is real good. It's been my companion for my blogging and my artworks.  Really it's been one heck of a shark out there I think. If they only knew who is San Jose eh? Hahahhahaha!

I think it would be a miracle for Vancouver Canucks to win. They should have a trip or pilgrimage to the Miracle Beach if they want to win the Stanley Cup. I feel sorry for the Canucks team.

Anyway, my husband thought I was bitching too much and he sent my Notebook to the technician for repair. Know what? There is nothing wrong with the Notebook. Really?!!!!!! Hmm...there my suspicion is alive and well. There must be a reason, right reason why it happened. I am a very suspicion human being and when somebody said there is nothing wrong with my computer after I tried so many times have to on and off the log in button? I'm not dumb nor stupid but it's the same kind of reasoning they told me. What is so good with my Notebook that it's like a magnet that some entities would like being attached to it?

I'm happy now because my Notebook is the same Notebook that I had for about a year. Yes it's only ONE YEAR old Notebook. Happy but still sad at the thought of the "reasoning behind my computer Notebook's situation." It's weird.

A lot oddities out there but my story about the bizarre happening to my computer and television is one hell of a kind.

Super Mayo Cinco:: 5 For Fighting!

May 5th is the IRIS Festival. Only in Japan that they celebrate this very special festival of the Iris flower. It is said to believe that the long stemmed flower which is symbolic in nature while the long narrow leaves are symbols of swords. The Japanese have symbolic ritual of changing the boy's bath with  iris leaves to give him the strength , courage and  martial spirit. It's meant to be preparation towards another chapter and brighter disposition in life. It is only strictly for boys. Sort of baptism? Bar Mitzvah? Hmmm...same ritual?

Then on May 5 brightly colored paper or light cloth carp (which is a species of fish) should fly gaily at the front porch of every house with a boy living in that house. How nice eh? The Japanese culture and tradition is really very rich, beautiful, charming and colorful. While reading the history of Japan I am amazed. Truly amazed that's why I was inspired to write a novel about it. Remember Jack Lobster? That's my main character in that novel of mine. Cracker Jack Lobster.

So let me show you what I made right there above image is the species of carp. I should have a kite instead. Let them have loran and shoran. I should have four flags there flying gaily just to have a double-double. Let's have carp, salmon, whales, and tuna. How's that? Isn't that a bright, cheery disposition to brighten up your day on May 5? I know it's also is a celebration of Cinco de Mayo in Mexico. Cinco. It reminds me of my Economic adviser in FEU my dearest witty, dedicated professor and kind Miss Concepcion Cinco. The most intelligent human being in my alma mater. Nope she never give me cinco in any test or class card. I'm too smart! Ahahahahaha! Yabang. Just kidding.

Let's eat. Want a rich, creamy garlic ravioli with olivieri alfredo sauce? Never again. Don't use alfredo in ravioli, not good. Anyway no harm in trying such sauce. That wont happen again. It should be marinara but I'd like to know the opinion of my kids if they like that sauce. Once in a while you have to cook something which one  your will  family choose or rather prefer to have for lunch and breakfast or supper. Ask them what they really, really want so that you wont waste your time and effort in preparing what to cook for them. Besides your house is not a restaurant and you cannot have brunch all the time.

I seldom cook curry and it will take months before I cook it again. For one thing it's my husband's favorite viand. It's not my favorite nor my kid's favorite that's why. I cooked it the way I learned it from my employer in Hong Kong. Chicken curry is delicious by the kind of curry spice being used. There are few to choose from such as: indian vindaloo, masala, goa, chao thai, Bombay, etc. Adding lots of seasoning, shredded ginger, garlic and crushed jalapeno pepper spiced up the whole entire curry chicken with mucho gusto.

Pork with garlic bean sauce is one of my favorite viand. Easy to cook and the food is tasty you have to add more servings of rice on your plate.

A simple plate of simple food. Delicious pork chop pan fried to perfection, rice and sautéed zucchini with oyster sauce, good enough eh? Dip sliced of pork chop on thai 's hot and sour special sauce and you'll enjoy it's exotic taste. Have a refreshing glass of ice cold coca cola and you'll forget your problems. Whatever ails you will be cured.

You are not you when you're hungry and you are not you when you are not the cook. Only when you are eating, savouring the flavor of somebody's cookery you'll find out that LIFE is  GOOD!

The television we had for about three years is toasted! Gone! We cannot revive the television. Whatever happened to it is simply unforgettable. It's the same kind of thing that happened with our first plasma TV during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Game and it was in timing with the guy, the athlete carrying the torch of light while riding the snow board down the mountain and entering the dome for the opening of the Olympic Games and just right there when he entered the dome and with all those sparkling lights and special effects our very own big screen television destruct right instantly. Call that self-destruct plasma TV. Shocking! I can't see anything. Black out! It's like a laser beam hit the television screen and that's what happened to our television in our room the other day watching The Voice.

What could be the reason? Laser beam again? From the sky? Up from the sky to our roof, to the ceiling hitting our TV?

Sounds like a sci-fi thriller but these accounts are real. Can light travel from the sky through the wires? Now that's comedy. Of course light travels through the sky to the appliances and this light is called electricity.

I have television in our living room. But I seldom stay in my living room. Now what?

The life span of plasma TV and LED TV is short compared to the square TV with big picture tube at the back.

So whoever is responsible for these kind of experiment and the laser beam hitting my house I want you to pay for all these irresponsible experiment. If its not the life span of television that is causing such trouble, then it's laser beam is the only probable cause. It could be the big huge SUN out there or who ever is at the ISS. We all know that SUN is the giant large haldron collider not the sun that you know through Bible study. The sun is a giant bulb up there that's why if you are in other parts of the world you are not seeing the sun because of the huge tent covering your country. That if you warned about the no fly zone it should be no fly zone in that area or risk your country as the next inferno. People using laser beam and aiming them in the sky should be put to jail. People aiming their laser beam in my house should be put to jail and pay for the damages they've done to my family.

Also, I want you to investigate on who are experimenting on STANLEY MILGRAM EXPERIMENT which is a NAZI EXPERIMENT. Investigate on these people who are the Neo-NAZI in Canada, America, Japan and other parts of the world. We don't want NAZI experiment. We hate their experiment. I hate their fraudulent scams. There is no such thing as using human beings to satisfy the outcome of experiment. Don't you have pigs?

Aurora Borealis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because we are in the Land of Cherry Blossoms let me tell you about this very strange happening at my place. I was watching The Voice television show the other day and it must have been the many light effects of that said show that our room is filled with such incredible halo effect like as if pulsating lights of aurora borealis is in effect from the ceiling to the floor to the walls. Somehow it impaired my vision and I went outside my room and I feel like having a heart attack. I coughed and coughed real hard and started pounding my chest. My son looked at me like as if I'm crazy or something. My husband just looked on probably watching me that there is something wrong with me.

There is something wrong! Very wrong! I was dizzy! I felt like my surrounding is spinning and I first thought there is that strange sensation of tremor happening. I washed my eyes with lukewarm water and splashed some more water to my face. Thinking what did I eat or drink that made me feel like being dizzy sort of I'm having a stroke or what? I don't drink wine or beer. I'm not an alcoholic. Am I having a low blood or high blood pressure is going up? I'm 50 years old and OLD and sure this kind of situation is normal for my age. PMS? What? Why all of a sudden?

I walked and walked, wiggled my legs, my arms, jogged and run around the house while those people around me think I'm crazy. Then later on I went back to my room and lie down on the bed and watched the rest of the television show as if nothing happened but feeling nervous that somehow it was sign of a stroke. It is. I know my medical book. I'm not stupid when it comes to medicine. I have knowledge in medicine, health and psychology. I'm not crazy. I worked in pharmaceutical company before and everything that I encountered in this life time is not crazy nor dumb.

Then yesterday, when I was about to take a nap and before that I noticed my daughter is looking at the back of our TV, she was trying to find out what the hell happened to our TV. I helped her find out. Switch on and off the main switch button but no light coming out from the TV. Even if I changed the battery of the remote control. So I manually switched the button required yet to on it wont work really. The black box , yeah BLACK BOX provided by the TV company wont help either to have picture flash on the screen. Gone! No more TV. It's black , all black on the screen and no light. Unplug and plug the wires connecting the TV to the wall socket didn't help either.

Last night, I was reading my encyclopedia book, brought to you by the letter J. It's a JK actually. From letter J to K. I missed my TV but reading is more fun too of course. Once in a while I glanced at the TV and the many borloloys around my room. I noticed the mirror of my closet, the vanity mirror of my head dresser, the mirror at the middle of my bed's headboard. Mirror, mirror and my daughter's laptop, then I looked at my TV and right there was a spectrum of light. Jesus Christ!!!!!! It was like an Einstein's experiment! Shocking! What the hell, it was HELL! Somebody is a hellraiser! I couldn't help scream bloody hell!!!!!!!!! That's Physics for you if you know what Physics. That's p62696 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were born in 1919 or you are old enough to understand what happened in the year 1919 you'll know what I'm writing here. It's hard to explain this phenomenon to those who doesn't even know simple Science and what more if you explain to them about Physics?

So there you go with the experiment. You can kiss your halo and aurora borealis to the max and by the way, I'm still alive to tell you that this story is real. You can ask Einstein about so many things about his experiment and let all the dead roam freely in our generation. I should have been dead today if not for my own rescue effort of trying to stay alive and survive. My own survival skills have taught me to be alive today.

DARN IT. Aurora Borealis inside our house. How that happened? Hard to explain to anybody especially if I am the only witness.  So weird right? Can aurora borealis penetrate through inside homes? Anyway, our TV has malfunctioned and cannot be fixed or revived after than phenomenon.

Go Fish

Thank God the temperature today was lowered to only 11 degrees celsius. In my own machine or device,  indoor  is 68 degrees F. It will eventually go up later this afternoon up to 15 degrees C. Truth is better to have lower temp. here at the island because there are too many fishing communities here and not to mention that there are too many fish running and swimming on the ponds, lakes, rivers, and big body of water called ocean. Soon it will be fishing galore out there from Campbell River to Gold River up to Port Hardy. Where  in the world  we can catch big fish such as halibut, blue fin tuna and big salmons? Add red snappers and rock cod? Uh, delicious fish!!!!!

With all those fishing accessories that husband bought recently include: big fish sliders or float stops (work equally well on deep fast flowing water) , octopus golden bat, treble hooks for chums, and many different variety of hooks and baits he is ready to go fishing. But wait, there are lots of work happening at summer time so fishing can really wait. Let other fishermen go fish first for herring.

Two years ago there was this helluviah of non-stop fishing at the river where millions of fish were released and people from everywhere gathered to have that chance to go fly-fishing, boating and fishing at our rivers and ocean. Fishermen's hooks got entangled with their hooks and got inter twined with other people's hooks. Whoah! Really that was an area where fishermen have only few yards of distance from each other because they were so many of them fishing in that particular location. Word of mouth and hearsays only made these people rushed to that particular destination and bingo there they go to find it out for themselves. No one goes empty-handed. Each one went home carrying at least two salmons and others were lucky to have the maximum amount of fish required according to their fishing license which they have to follow or else lose their fishing license certificate or their vehicle impounded.

So many boats, so many trolls and so many tourists flocked the area. Big boom of tourism. Yeah it helps the community back to its prime time original habitat as the salmon capital of the world. However last year was a disappointment, not much of the lively abundant fish were seen or caught. What happened? Over fishing? Noisy environment? Lots of movements happening on the water? The water is too warm for the fish to stay alive and stay on Canadian waters?  What could be the problem?

Whatever is the problem still is > we'll go fishing. There's nothing wrong with following the standard and rules of fishing. It would be a catch-release basis if the fish is not that tantamount to the required measurement, it's okay. Fishing is a great hobby for  those nature lovers, for those who love the sea and its splendor and the joy it brings to those who seek tranquility along the waves of  fortune, adventure and good health. Ocean air sometimes let you breathe freely and the salty water that you touch also brings forth a natural remedy for asthmatic. The soothing effect of salty water and it's odor can make sick people breathe properly and live better. Add zest to life.

For those who love to gather stones, or rocks...I know so many inhabitants of the island collect polished rocks at the shore. My daughter used to collect shiny stones and shells. Other people collect bigger rock something that you can sit on like a stool. Some people gather medium sized rock where they can sit like on a bench. What they used it for, really? They used these bigger rocks as garden ornament on display at their front yard. Japanese calming rock beautifies a Japanese garden. My neighbor has few of those granite rock and one is a big slab of marble along side so many of her yucca plants. Wow!

There are so many of those granite rocks at the camping site and I was thinking of collecting them but they are too heavy. Hahahaha! They are heavier than me of course. Or I can have that big rock right there at the shore at the SIHW's beach. That huge giant rock's been there since the island was discovered by Cook. In my mind it was Capt. Vancouver who discovered this island. Whoever is the first and what  history is to you in your own book its' best for debate. It could be the last samurai who discovered the island eh? It cannot be shintaro or daigoro. It could be me. Who knows. But you know what? This is just to us, I think that giant rock is the original golden Buddha.
