Leap Day For The Leap Year 2020

February 29, 2020. Another day added for the month of February. It happened every 4 years. Yeah, it is Leap Day and it's Leap Year!

Merong kasabihan sa Leap Year na kailangang may "kaloveteam ka na this year" or else tatanda kang dalaga or tatanda kang binata. LOL. Uso daw ang pikot pag Leap Year.

Well, don't want to interpret that statement above in English.

Supposedly the weather forecast is not sunny but hey, miracles do happen and I believe in miracles.
Thank God! Thanks for the sunny weather today.

Ginataang Langka

Jackfruit when it's not ripe is considered as vegetable and can be cooked in several different viands. For myself,  cooking the jackfruit in thin slices with coconut milk and dozen shrimps is one of my favorite dishes. My daughter likes the shrimps only.

Ingredients for this very special exotic dish : 1 can of young green jackfruit in brine, shrimps, ground pork, 1 can of coconut milk, garlic, onions, ginger, black pepper, salt. I used sriracha sauce for spice. You can have chili pepper for option.

Alternative for shrimps: prawns, tuna, salmons, crabs or lobsters

Patience Is Such A Virtue

The SUN also rises in this part of the world. I'm wishing an early Springtime actually. Why the need to wait for the official Spring? Okay, that's a sacred VERNAL EQUINOX.

Sometimes, I wrote in my own vernacular lingo (language). I'm talking to myself as in soliloquoy ikaw ang siokoy.

I've been busy. Planting sunflower seeds on small plot for the germination process. It worked before, don't know if those seeds will sprout. It will take 14 days though. The first batch of seeds were planted earlier sometime on January 23, 2020. So that's 9 days to go for sprouting. Patience is such a virtue in planting and gardening.

Patience is also a virtue in cooking because you have to prepare the ingredients on desired meals for family. And it depends on how many viands to cook which is usually two viands and several platter of viands when there are visitors.

Patience in the making of springrolls (lumpiang shanghai). Anybody whose been to Chinese restaurants probably have ordered springrolls or eggrolls, however, the lumpiang shanghai or springrolls I usually rolled to perfection are longer.

 The size of these springrolls are amazing. Each springroll measures  7.5 inches long (19 cm.)

Yummy, yummy springrolls! Delicious of course.

Springroll ingredients: Ground pork, ground shrimps, garlic, onions, chopped celery, chopped carrots,
chopped cilantro, ground pepper, salt, grated cheese.

Heat & Bond

 It's time to try something new. Husband bought this 22mm ultrahold iron-on adhesive HEATnBOND
for the newly arrived draperies ordered from Amazon. Instead of sewing it using the sewing machine he wants to try without sewing the edge of the draperies (curtain).

 He followed the instruction provided through the back of the Heat n Bond.

Then the ironing starts...

It didn't work! I think it doesn't work on heavy material. The heavy, thick material of such fabric for that curtain with that Heat n Bond? Forget it.

I decided to just hem the edges using grey thread and sharp needle. It's a needle and thread process, the hemingway, lol.

Maybe that heat and bond will work appropriately and properly on light fabric materials only.
Well, something works perfectly and sometimes not. The draperies are for our tenant's glass windows.

What To Do?

Once a week, I have to clean our beddings and coordinates (linens, bedsheets, pillowcases) in the laundry machine and dry them in the dryer machine. The heat in the dryer is hot enough but maybe because of such paranoia of coronavirus, better to iron bedsheets, linens, pillow cases and iron clothes too even if they all been sanitized and dried in the machine. Too much?

Soap and water and other cleaning supply such as the "Big Blue" for all household cleaning purposes. You probably are using hand sanitizer most of the time but you never clean your house, your kitchen and most especially the bathrooms. Use or wear gloves in cleaning your bathrooms using disinfectant (toilet bowls, bathtub, faucets, counters sinks, door handles). Everyday. Housecleaning should be everyday. It could be very costly because cleaning supply is very expensive but it's better be safe than sorry.

You keep wearing masks on your face but make sure you also brush your teeth using toothpaste and mouthwash. Brush your teeth after every meals is a must. Taking a bath everyday is necessary. No water? Use hot wet face towel or sanitized lysol wipes. Imagine a world without water. That's what is is...the problem of  NO WATER or absence of clean, safe water for some people.

Thank God we have water. I don't know how we can survive the  outbreak if there's any if there 's no water. It is for this important reason that an infection or outbreak is easy to defeat because WATER is the most valuable element in cleaning and cleansing.

Using chlorine or bleach in disinfecting towels, dishcloths, clothes, linens and other kitchen utensils also is  a part of  trying to avoid germs and virus. Use your dishwasher machine to totally annihiliate whatever that scares you.

Keep yourself in check. It is not only your dogs and cats who should have their grooming and personal hygiene in check. Human beings also need those personal maintenance. You don't wear dirty clothes and wear it the next day. Perspiration and sweat can be very annoying so better wear clean clothes everyday and use deodorant. Not because you don't smell you are not to wear deodorant? How confident are you?

If your sick, make an appointment to your family doctor. If doctor's not in, then try the walk-in clinic. Not all sick people have virus or flu virus or coronavirus. The question would be, Have you been to WUHAN? Are you from Wuhan, China? You only get that coronavirus from Wuhan, China or somebody from Wuhan infected you directly for whatever reason. Not because you have cough and cold you have coronavirus. And not because you have cough and colds mean you are infected. If you don't have fever, do you think you have flu? The answer is NO. You probably have allergy or asthma. Dust can also the source of coughing and colds. Eating spicy, hot foods such as kimchi and wasabi in sushi can also trigger cough. Some people get cough and colds from inhaling harsh chemicals. You get sick from chemicals in soap and cleaning supply.  Hot and cold temperature can affect your health. So stop those wicked evil of rumor-mongering trying to inflict fear on the rest of the population.

If you are sick whether you are sick of coronavirus or not,
 but because you are sick of another ailment...better not to travel.
It is for your own good and good of other people.
SAVE YOURSELF & SAVE OTHER PEOPLE.

Okay enough. I hope that coronavirus scare will go away.

One Hour Without Water

ONE HOUR WITHOUT WATER from the faucet , from the water tap on the sink, from the bathrooms...felt like one year without water!

SORRY for that panic mode.

Who wont panic?
If the news network is non-stop with the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19)
then without water? Chaotic right?

By the way, a VIRUS THAT KEEPS CHANGING IT'S PATTERN, CODE & COATING?
THAT'S CANCER!

Time to sweep the floor with super WET SWIFFER. You don't have to mop the floor using bucket of water with this brand.

When Evil Lurks

WHEN EVIL LURKS!

Yesterday my topic of discussion was about WATER and its importance to mankind.

Today, there is no water running from our faucet! WTH!  Our BC Hydro (Water) is paid religiously.
People in Canada pays water and the bill can be staggering but CANADIANS PAY.

For whatever reason that the water was cut off without any warning is a cause for alarm.

Is there a civil war happening in Canada that we are not aware?

The water in Canada is supposedly free because we have several  dams of water within BC and too many waterfalls and water reservoir where water is contained. The ocean has water, the river has water and so as the lake, too many streams with water where those salmons swim.

So where's the water? Something's  crazy and something evil lurks. Politics is really very evil and wicked.  I don't know what kind of experiment those people working at the HYDRO and the water system are doing. You should have announcement or warning that the water should be cut off for that certain period of time.Okay peeps or perverts, you can laugh your asses off but this is not funny.

Is there an on-going water pipeline cut off in this city? So WEIRD!

Maybe another NAZI EXPERIMENT and where to find out those NAZIs?

WATER

SPRING is almost here? Really? I would like to believe because at 10 d.C. today AND SUNNY AND WARM OUTSIDE kind of feeling it.

Then suddenly you have television hosts who thought that it's the climate change that the earth needs. Have one million people at the North Pole and eventually the icebergs will melt. It's the number and volume > population of humans and animals that melt icebergs. HUMAN BEINGS ARE THE CONTRIBUTORS to climate change. You blame so many other people but PEOPLE ARE HUMAN BEINGS...they move their bowels everyday. Don't tell me you don't have behind? It's not rocket science.

Have one million cows and bulls and they eat and pooped every hour. The water can get contaminated. It happened before in Alberta. The water supply got contaminated. It's not all those poop get into the gas and oil industry. The creation and production of gas and oil need an incredible amount of water. WATER.

WATER is also most needed in the industries you don't know or aware of such as the pulp mills and where the production of steel, aluminum, all kinds of metals. Even the building of houses, condominiums, bridges,  recycling and garbage maintenance used water. WATER is not only for drinking, bathing, laundry and cooking. The irrigation system must have great supply of  water so that farmers can start their planting. Shipping industry also in need of incredible amount of water or else those ships, boats and other water vehicles wont be able to float and wont be able to run or else they would be stranded on the dockyards. WATER. WATER. WATER.

Climate change again? Where it should start?

Some couples start having less babies. Other couples start their family planning or plan not to have babies. It is what it is. Don't be so greedy on sex. BILLIONS OF PEOPLE who are in great need of water. Don't let the population of the earth into TRILLIONS. You and me cannot afford such humongous amount of  feeding billions to trillions of people when you and me have problem to survive.

Do not blame other people when you don't have water. Do not ask water from those with water when they try to conserve and save their own resources. There is nothing wrong with protecting WATER and SAVING THEIR OWN SUPPLY.

WATER is more important than GOLD.
WATER is more valuable than OIL & GAS.

 I love my new nail polish. I'm obsessed about the new nail polish I bought and it looked good on my nails. Why are we getting so obsessed and narcissistic ? I don't know. Maybe it is the sign of times when some of us try to impress one another. While there is that obsession that make us human being that what is trendy and what is in demand for that time being we have to be a part of it, just like those "tik tok advocates."

Curious about that "tik tok" as if it's the latest trend in the networld but it was actually old.
TIK TOK was already done long time ago in the 60's to 70's. Maybe those teens of today should watch FORTUNATE SON the new television series on Ch. 100 starring Smallville's
Superman TOM WELLING.

  I don't have those app because that's for mobile phone (cellphone) and if you like the tiktok app you know that your video will eventually be shared around the world by strangers. 

I'm no longer a teenager. I'm over 50 for God sake! I don't care much about tiktok. But you as mothers, just like me should forbid your kids to do such tiktoking, you know. But who am I to stop those teens when they want to flaunt their curves for the whole world to see.

I'm Just A Noble Blogger

 Day dreaming? I don't know. I want to be a " knownothing" human being for the time being. I get so stubborn sometimes when I become so emotionally devoted about certain subject and cannot control to speak my mind whether it's politically or with religious intonations. It's hard to be in troubled waters or getting into troubles as if there is no escape but to swim away, dive, float or let go of the flow.

I could just go on and on not minding on what others feel or what hurt them the most. Thank God,
 I am not the "gossip queen." LOL.

It's not all about you that I have to discuss in my blogs but to discuss myself every time then you think I am that self-centered... I am not!

Texting  or blogging is the next best thing simply because "too many deaf people now." Did you know that? That's the reason why computers and cellphones with keyboards are invented to keep the disabled  have that special access to modern technology. Besides, shouting and yelling is rude.

I'm contemplating on something new but to reveal that not would only lessen the msytery.  Whatever! Misery loves mystery. lol. Ha ha being dramatic here.

Shop Like A Mother!

There are many festivity during the month of February yet we don't really celebrate it just like the other human beings in another province. To think that it was the national Flag Day last February 15, which is the celebration of how Canadians had chosen the "Red Maple Leaf" and was introduced to have for its National Flag. I think only for those who can remember...

February 14 which is the Valentine's Day has been celebrated time and time again and the whole world participates in gift-giving and sharing of love, flowers, chocolates and maybe some are too wealthy to splurge on expensive jewelries for their loved ones and dinner date in the most expensive, fabulous  restaurants ordering the choice of costly gourmet food.

Then today, February 17, 2020 and it is Monday today,   warm inside the house but still cold outside with temperature of 5 degrees C. By the way according to the calendar, it is Family Day in British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, Saskatoon, Ontario and Heritage Day in Nova Scotia. FAMILY DAY.

Everyday is supposedly FAMILY DAY. Duh. lol.

My husband didn't wait any longer to shop for that rice cooker. I told him we can do without it. However, he shops like a father. He went to Walmart and bought what he wants in a flash, that's it and come home with that rice cooker.

 Yeah, the same brand name HAMILTON BEACH.

 I looked at the manual...
The rice cooker looked the same as the previous rice cooker we had for 8 long years. But not quite.
The old rice cooker had those 6 big buttons and one button for timer display. You have to plug the wire to the switch socket, then it beams up and just push the button for rice to cook and it automatically cooks and warm itself automatically. While the new rice cooker you have to plug the wire first to the socket then the beam lights up on all buttons then you have to push the button for "select mode" to whatever kind of rice you have whether white rice, quick rice or whole grain, then push START and it beams the 45 (for white rice) minutes timer. From 45 minutes time of steaming the rice, the countdown begins from 45 minutes to zero and the rice is cooked. Then it starts to warm up after and the time starts again from zero to 2 to 5 if you like it heated up.

 Good thing there is that steamer for veggies, siomais or any dumplings. Another plastic spoon and
measuring cup.

 How to shop like a Mother? There you go...lots of receipts. LOL. Not that I like those grocery receipts but if you shop once a month for monthly supply of food, cleaning supply, clothing and accessories, beauty products and other miscellaneous products you get to shop like a MOTHER!

Happy Family Day everyone! Now got to be happy with what I cooked. Steamed rice, steamed brocolli, samosa, shrimp and vegetable chopsuey, meatballs with chili sauce.

Our Valentine's Dinner

Who said we didn't celebrate Valentine's Day? Of course we did.

 I think my family always have special treats on having the best gourmet food because I'm the Chef at home.

 However, first thought we wont have bowl of steamed rice after I found out that the rice cooker we had for 8 years malfunctioned. Suddenly the rice cooker didn't beep or beam up its red light. Nothing. What's wrong? I checked the plug and the socket maybe the problem is the switch and socket. Nope. I checked the inside part of the rice cooker so many times whether its wet inside or something has  clogged the seating round tray, no not that. Well, it's been such long years...eight (8) long years. It has guaranty of 5 years that it will work for five years. 8 years been such a very long time for Hamilton Beach rice cooker to have functioned really well. Okay that sounds pleasing, but at a time when I'm trying hard (th) to be thrifty and wanting not to spend because December was the month when overspending for gifts got in the way for the festive celebration of Christmas. Brand new appliances such as convection/toaster oven and the vacuum...darn it! And now the rice cooker!

 Anyway, look at what I did. I cooked the rice on stainless pot, on the stove and it turned out perfect. Do we really need to buy rice cooker? Maybe not!

Note: My hands are clean. The stainless pot cover been messed up with "steam."
The only thing with cooking rice on stainless pot on the hot oven you have to watch it for the long duration of 30 minutes and you have to lift up the cover when it's boiling time and  have to lower the heat button to "warm & simmer mode." Unlike in rice cooker that automatically shuts off the heat.

Roast chicken for dinner.

The chicken wings were too hot and flaming spicy for my kids that I have to roast the chicken instead. Just that simple meal of roast chicken, steamed rice, vegetable salad with dill dressing, spicy chicken wings and western pork chow mein's good enough to celebrate the happy heart day. For dessert: ice cream and turon. Turon is a banana wrapped in eggroll wrapper and deep fried in a  wok of  boiling hot cooking oil.

10th Year Anniversary Of The 2010 VANCOUVER Olympic Games

It's the 10 Year Anniversary of the 2010 VANCOUVER WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES. What really happened ten years ago, do you still remember?

Unforgettable as it is because it was the OLYMPIC GAMES! It was completely and fully recorded through many channels, on different mediums of telecommunications. It is what it is that Olympic Games is the greatest show on Earth. No doubt about it. It had its origin from mythological, ancient religious sect of King Zeus to the many mythological gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. How can you not be a part of something that reminds you of the ancient civilization, how culture and tradition blend with the way of life of today at present time. It hard to resist the origin of the past whether you like it  or not we evolve and through evolution something out of nothing is here to stay.

Absence of snow was one of the problem during the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
The accommodation was so great and warm  however, there were limited options to stay for millions of tourists and that also the huge conflict during the Ancient GAME in Greece and volcanic eruption led to something epic of gigantic proportion which is part of glorious History for this Event. No volcano in Vancouver so nothing to worry about but absence of snow on the ground for Winter Olympic Games? That was uncalled for.

If there will be future event such as OLYMPIC GAMES, the host country should be able to accommodate one million of people and should therefore have housing facilities for this one million human beings including the Olympic athletes and their families.

Valentine's Day is another special day of celebration. To celebrate it with loved ones, your family, friends and  relatives. Only for those whom you really love and care not that you love everyone. Do you?

Anyway... to bring happiness and goodwill to folks out there is one sure thing of showing how good a person you are. You don't have to be over dramatic about a day that popularize commercialism but you know it's good for the heart if you can be a part of the economic system. When you trigger that sense of  demand for labor and supply you end up helping the economy. You are helping not only the economy in your community but the whole global communities, everywhere, anywhere, and everyday. Thus, that make sense being helpful and kind. Cheers!

Are You Aware?

There is that internet stalker called tracker. Just like you health gurus and followers of tracker on your wrists as if you want a system that tracked everything about your pulse and everything that moves. The quarts in many clocks, wristwatch provide the rhythm movements of time. Synchronized. That's okay, no problem with that. However a tracker wristwatch is your companion with the alert system. It's great for people on the move.  How about having your wrist tracker bracelet/watch clasped on your ankles? Right, you think you'll like Wanzhou. Weng Wanzhou of Huawei. lol.  Or perhaps Washoe. Washoe is the chimp and maybe he passed away already and nothing to be tracked and watched and the vet got nothing to be experimented. Nothing for experiment. What could be the health hazard of electronic gadget  attached to your wrist and ankle? Maybe for the long duration of time they will find out the cause of effect. Maybe there are certain limits to the space of place where you can have access. You are not allowed to go in certain places within a boundary or else you get a pinch strike on your body that can cause an alarming heart rate equal to double heart attack. Or the alarm could trigger a shock.

There's a house somewhere in the island that has that shock therapy that triggers a "strike." You get to live in that beautiful house complete with all the modern electronics, gadgets and you get to live a rich lavish lifestyle, living a millionaire and billionaire lifestyle...  however the SHOCKWAVE that penetrate to the inside of that house is something you have to say foul and inhumane. For those who are not inside the HOUSE OF SHOCK, and a wide range of population would like a massive shock for all then they got it. Those A-HOLES should pay for such experiment. NAZI.

OMG! Are we all getting to be experimented or subjected to many experiments? Who are conducting these experiments? If you are paid for such exploitation maybe you must be very thankful but those who are not aware and not paid of such experimentation then please cry out loud. DO SOMETHING!

It is a criminal offense, it is criminal, a crime when you are subjected to experiment. Not that you don't know about it.

Sleepyheads Sometimes Need Introspection

I never watch MacGyver television series until recently on its premiere telecast for this year's season. Mac was in a traffic jam on the way to University where he works as a laboratory professor (maybe he is a Physics instructor or what) because he was late already he had his lesson aired aided by modern technology gadget  to his class in his classroom. When he arrived at the classroom, the students didn't even notice that he was there in the room because his students were busy staring at their cellphones and laptops, and one student was "busy sleeping." He was there in front of the class in the classroom and nobody was aware of his presence. So, he poured  a small portion of chemical in one of the laboratory flasks and then BOOM))) Yeah, that's it EXPLOSION!!!!!!!!!

That wakes up everyone in the classroom.

Strange and fascinating how explosion sometimes do wonders for those sleepyheads.

BBA

I know and  aware that the weather in Canada is very unpredictable. But sometimes you get to be the fellow who get so happy when the weather gets so clear and everything becomes bright and blue. So, today is a very misty morning, foggy on another part of the island at 8:21 AM.

There are certain group of people still practising or practice  the BBA for no apparent reason other than they probably want the stimulus outside the box instead of inside the box. A strategy that they tried to avoid the focus or target of attention. Looking outside not looking inside.

The rewards and punishment. Why that punishment when you can only get the rewards? BLACK BOX APPROACH is sometimes taken into action on popular games on TV. I don't know if they have to admit that it is a BBA or just plain reward and punishment contest.

SURVIVOR: Outwit & Outplay with $2 MILLION DOLLARS Prize for the winner is once again the most watched survivor contest/game on TV. All the winners from the very first episode/pilot, winners from 2010 to the year 2019 (10 years)  of SURVIVOR have returned to the location of such contest. SURVIVOR is one of those games with rewards and punishment. Punishment is not that bad as crucifixion.

In politics they seem to use such approach but they are not aware of such. I think there is that invisible imaginary line where participants don't even know it is happening. Mind boggling crazy.
Yeah, because the approach supposedly be in "unconscious state."

Funny Moments

It's not Halloween yet nor Saint Patrick's Day but some people are practising some kind of pranks. For  those who are used to pranksters beware. Beware that one day the pranks will land on you and hit you on your face.

Anyway, don't want anything bad happening to anybody. TO DO NO HARM is still my policy.
HONESTY is still the best policy. Although I don't have Honesty perfume because I have other scents or fragrance of my own choice.

I can't do my planting yet because Springtime is not officially as is not good to plant those dahlia tubers. The weather patterns keep changing. It is what it is when the weather is also a trickster. One day it was sunny and warm then the next day it is very cold. From 16 degrees Celsius to 15 C then down to 4 C yesterday and today which is Sunday is 1 degree Celsius only. I hope the temperature will go up to at least 10 C.

I checked my BC649 ticket and to my amazement, I am not the winner of the lottery. LOL. Maybe next time. Defintely, maybe. Ha ha ha! OMG! My daughter and I having a good time watching old movies of famous actor Ryan Reynolds. Just recently we watched his movie JUST FRIENDS. I think Ryan is a relative of Jim Carrey. The ending of that movie, with him singing the song "I swear, by the moon and the stars in the sky ))) He is a real funny guy. He should join SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.

Mixed Emo

Indeed! It is a beautiful day today because the sun is beaming hot and the sun shines so bright and the blue of heaven is once again looking majestically spectacular. maybe we could be experiencing an early advance spring. I could only hope so.

Then my husband was kind of surprise that the thermostat/thermometer  device records a temperature of  16 C. Wow! How could that be? He thought could be the result of the sun shines directly focus on the gadget outside. So I had the inspection outside and move the temp. gadget in another part of the yard. This time the reading was very strange. It has a double negative.  - -   OMG! WTH! LOL. No number just that double negative on display screen. That's for a moment of awe. Few minutes later, the reading is now 15 C.

I noticed too that there are things that need fixing at the backyard. Due to the many snowstorms, the harsh condition in this part of the island caused the canopy of the boat ripped open , the canopy covering the boat has been ripped open and fold up to the right side of the metal stand or poles. Snow is heavy that's why. Whatever you may call it.

My husband had the boat covered with heavy blue tarp before but then no matter how it was tightly wrapped around with tarp and nylon cords the wind keeps blowing it away. Stupid wind, stupid rain, stupid snow, stupid weather!

And you wonder why so many people are fed up with climate change.
It wont be long then it's gonna be Spring time and we'll be having outdoor barbecues...

Look what I discovered last Thursday ...PRINGLES Groovz jalapenos potato chips. Tasty! Great for snacks! Know what?  you should have ice cold iced tea or any kind of pop to quench your thirst because this hot, spicy, super spicy chips sure to shock your senses.

CAUTION: It has monosodium glutamate. Not good for your kids and not great for your dogs and cats. FIERY, FLAMING SPICY!

All Lives Matter

 Wherever, whenever and whatever you are feeling right now... we have to celebrate life,
LIVES MATTER.

We have to eat 3x a day!

 I really like siomai. I used to make my own homemade siomai instead of ordering from Chinese restaurant. I am not a Chinese but you know Mandarin cuisine is so good and because I can prepare and cook siomai, why not have it once a month. Amazingly delicious for lunch, dinner or snacks!!

 That's my lunch.

 Eggrolls for lunch. Sausage and egg if somebody in my family doesn't like eggrrolls.

Dinner: Fries, vegetable salad with dill dressing, grilled/bbq chicken breasts, hot and spicy sausage.
 As you can see, we love food.

However, nobody likes okra, zucchini, bittermelon and eggplant in pinakbet except me. At least my children likes the pork and prawns and the sauce in this exotic viand.

My house feels like a restaurant because everybody has their own favorite food. The point is the pressure and stress is within me when somebody likes another kind of food for lunch or dinner. OMG! Fuzzy eaters. No wonder why some families would rather have dinner out and have their individual choices in restaurants.

Hot & Cold

I woke up with a headache. I knew that I lower the heater down before I went to bed and sleep, then next morning the heater (thermostat) was on again. My daughter has adjusted the heater's temperature to 15 C. I looked out the window and there the snow has returned once again with a vengeance. WTH.

Wet snow on the ground not dry snow so it's slushy and could be slippery when you step on it. When you think that Spring is almost here then you get that weirdness.

Different calendars remember Vernal Equinox or Springtime on  March 20,  2020, the other calendar stated March 19. Why not just on the first week of March instead?

My headache has catapulted to migraine when I started cooking due to the steam coming out from the food I'm cooking. Then the loud noise from the vent when it is on can cause double the headaches. The smoke and steam circulating within the kitchen can cause not only headaches but it's not good for the eyes. The smoke and steam can circulate in the confined, closed room when doors and windows are closed and the vent doesn't much of help to vent out the steam.  I decided to open the window and the sliding glass door so that the fresh air can pass through inside or let the  fumes out from the kitchen. After I'm done (finished) cooking  I closed the window and the door or else the heating bill will charge us more. (I turned off the heater at the kitchen anyway before I opened the window and door). Whatever!

You think being a cook is just as simple as that eh? Imagine cooking inside a restaurant without windows and all doors are closed. Cooking has that "health hazard" and many cooks and chefs wont probably tell you their anxieties, worrying that they could be fired if they complained. I watched this show on tv about BELOW DECK and observed the attitude and behaviour of those workers. The workers had endured so much stress and pressures working in that environment away from the land, on floating, sailing boats and when the movement of waves can sometimes affect everybody's judgment. It affect their behaviour and attitude towards each other. Booze didn't solve their problems it only heightened their conflict. Watch HELL KITCHEN and why Chef Ramsey and other cooks vent out their grievances by uttering vicious words and swearing the "F word." Kitchen environment can be very toxic, alright! It's like being closer to an active volcano spewing hot gases and toxic ash.

To think that the kitchen is to be blamed for such conflict because the hot and cold temperature can cause to affect your brain's mind-thinking. It can cause alterations of the minds. Think about radon. radon is also or could be the factor. Who knows eh?

P.S. By the way, a TYLENOL capsule helps relieve pain caused by headache. Just one capsule! That's how strong that pain medication.

There's no doubt that the month of January is one of the most unforgettable months for this year of 2020. EPIC! Too much controversial news and too much epic events that will mark special events in HISTORY.

YESTERDAY, all my troubles seemed so far and away... OMG! Like a song eh? So many weird stories and if you are a novel writer this is your chance to meditate and make sure you have records of all the happenings during those epic moments of awe and wonder.

O'come on let us be honest. Let us be truthful. I know that TRUTH is the most difficult word or hardest word for some of you, not that I'm saying some of you are liars but let us make peace of the past so that you wont screw the future.

It's that time of the month and it's brand new beginning and FEBRUARY is also a beautiful month. February is almost Springtime but not quite yet; although a bit warmer than cold January.
