Your Country's Economy Is Better and Growing Because Of Your Loyalty As A Good Consumer

 I WON! I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh My God! I'm just kidding! I WISH I WON the lottery. Actually I won a DOLLAR. One dollar last week. Hahahaha! When will I win the lottery? How lucky are those lottery winners. Remember the past I used to win from the Jai Alai games in the Philippines and the biggest win I had with 6/49 is just a hundred buck. C$100 only and that was long time ago.

Anyway, I will keep on checking whether there are numbers I missed looking and need further staring at for few moments. Just like those scratches where you have to find three identical numbers or symbols and then when those numbers matched with the three winning numbers then you are a WINNER.

But it's okay if you and I are not winners or our tickets are not the winning lottery ticket. Know why? READ the MESSAGE above.

You and me are helping the province of BRITISH COLUMBIA whenever you purchase TICKETS from the BC Lottery Ticket Booths. British Columbians are all WINNERS when they patronize their own economy.

No further explanation needed to add. Knowledge is power so be it.

Cheers and be happy. Chocolate makes me happy!

Let Us All Be INspired

Random Acts of kindness is being felt around the world which is a great good thing in this time of the year. Bravo! That's how it should be promoted and it began throughout the internet community. It's random so from the net to the route where there are human beings who would like to extend their humanity and goodwill even just a simple gestures of greeting each and everyone a warm and jolly words of  "hello, how are you? merry christmas!" It's not that hard to utter those words. Words of encouragement and words of recognition of good deeds and the special words ," thank you!"

You'll be hearing those phrases "how are you? and thank you" at the supermarket, at the shop and malls everywhere because shoppers will flock a queue to shop at your place. Simple courtesy that it's gonna be busy and economy will turn around. Then phrase of "be careful now, the road is slippery, drive carefully." Right, it's snowing outside once again so its a time of chillin' once again in front of the fireplace, hugging cushion with warm blanket and holding on to a cup or mug sipping hot coco or hot java. Hot tea is great too especially after having sweet dessert or croissants. Hot tea is good for flattening stomach helping in the digestive system so that you wont get bloated from eating too much food with lots of carbohydrates in it. But don't overdo it because tea can also make you suffer diarrhea. Something that is too much is unhealthy.

I started my gift wrapping the other day. Every time I'm done with wrapping here comes my hubby with gifts to wrap. More boxes arrived: big, medium, small boxes to wrap again.

My plan is to have that simple decoration for our Christmas tree year 2012. Choosing only two to three colors as motif but a good suggestion from my husband is hard to resist because it wont look Christmas if only two colors ( gold and silver) of ornaments are placed or on display on each branches and twigs of the tree. So be it. Let's have sari-sari store. Let's have different colors, all colors ...because each color represent race. Each color represent gems and flags.

Hopefully our Christmas is filled with all the wonders of what the good Lord God intends us to do and all the warm wishes each one of us hope and let it be a fulfillment of all good dreams. Consciously...unconsciously.

Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, oh how I love thee! LOL. OMG! Ten days to Christmas. WE don't have the christmas tree for 2012. Yet...
Husband doesn't like artificial tree, he wants a fir tree instead the true real one that smells fresh fir tree. Fir tree or cedar tree which you think smells better?

I know some other families in the neighborhood have their christmas tree already because they are artificial that they have to decorate every year with special ornaments, be of star topper or beautiful dressed angels on top of the well-lit decorated trees.

Hubby bought x'mas wrapper for the presents he intended to give on Christmas day. I must admit not done with the shopping. It's hard to shop on this time of the year when the prices of goods are really high. To wait for the big sale? Rather wait for the Boxing Day which is on the 26th and probably you wont get what you want and most of all X'mas is over. So what's the point. Besides what do you want others to tell ya that you are so stiff and stingy you are buying cheap items for gift-giving.

Well, the truth is it is better to give than to receive as the saying goes. What about not receiving anything not even a cent? How would you feel? Totally disappointing right? How disgusting that would be especially if you are receiving every year and suddenly you did not receive anything.

Then how about this awful situation of you only want to receive gifts when you don't even give anything. You don't give a x'mas card nor any gift worth one dollar and you expect to receive gifts? That's very selfish right?

You know what? There is something I am proud about my children, my teens they are not choosy nor they ask me anything for Christmas. I have to ask them what they want to receive from Santa Claus. That was before, years ago when they were so young. Unlike other children who will go berserk or will get so upset if they don't receive any. Of course in this time and age when they know already that Santa is not real but fantasy they know for sure who's giving them presents every year at Christmas time.

I don't feel the spirit of Christmas in Canada. It's totally different here. We may have lots of food, gifts and decorations but surely it's a matter of one day celebration and after that it's back to normalcy as if nothing happened. The spirit of Christmas and its joyful celebration is lively and wonderful for a movie where people act towards the fulfillment of their wishes, towards a deeper meaning based on its plot and story, otherwise it is a get together of families and relatives plus friends in merry- making jolly kind of Chritmas. My christmas is not based on Chevy Chase's movie. Not that complicated ridiculous kind of lampoon's where too many unexpected happenings here and there. My Christmas is just simple and almost predictable. My Christmas is not based on evil unexpectations. Christmas is based on the truth, love and goodwill brought on good deeds. My kind of Christmas is a triumph over evil. I wish not to deceive others and hopefully no one deceives my good intention.

Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ the son of God. The baby Jesus born at the manger in Betlehem, where the first star of David rised up above heaven. The only son of God who will save us from all our sins and be our guide and saviour. If the SON is the first SUN up in heaven who are we then? The language is deeper beyond our grasp to comprehend. I am in humility not to gamble with words and express my own understanding of what really is the mystery behind what true God intends us to do in our lifetime.

Let me greet each one of you the very best of the season
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Love,
E. Verna Turner

To Live, To Write, To Enjoy and Relax

Lotsa future forecasts but what the heck! I am not here to become Google's fortune teller nor do I want to be a wizard and perform at the circus. I could be an illusionist. Hwaattt!!!!!! Oh my God! There, I'm joking again. Who would believe me if I become a comedian?

Charlie Chaplin was the first famous comedian in his time in the time of Hitler's Nazi rule. The rule was known to the world as chaotic, brutal and bloody. The ethnic cleansing is more than what you can bargain for. In brutal realities of the worst disaster > the great Depression era too many great plans were adapted. Comedy of error's one of them to resurrect the emotional disturbance every human beings felt during those wars of "infrastructure." The era of asbestos and drought plus famine brought hunger and destruction. Charlie Chaplin created "a funny comedian Hitler for himself"  to settle disputes and harmony in Europe and America. The rest of the world had a different view. It was more than survival of the fittest based on skills and relationship with those who governed. Who won the tragedies of war were to write history. It's up to their own hands and their genius to maneuver what really happened according to the dictates of their conscience just as Holy Bible was written through the help of the Holy Spirit.

To end World War II an atomic bomb was made and used to settle all the problems incurred by such conflict brought on by "miscommunication and time difference." Truth was found and to make it complicated the Psychology book published its finding that after World War II, the Japanese youth have higher IQ's than the rest of the people around the world. That's what AB can do to you? Hmmm...sounds intriguing eh?!

Now let us watch Shogun and the Last Samurai. Maybe it will show you how the turn of events lead to that kind of intelligence.

Sushi? Suzi? Oh Uzi! The cast of the Amazing Race found the mausoleum intended for Da Vinci. It looks more like the small church of Saint Joseph where Saint Bernadette was buried. Why in Spain? I first thought it was in Macau.

History repeats itself. Great writers may or may not complicate things up however it's astonishing for readers and researchers... the more twisted plots are, the more readers want to read a bewitching novel and moviegoers love to enjoy complicated, twisted and mysterious movies.

Why? So that the next generation has something to do in their time or choose to die early as in suicidal mission  because of boredom.

I could have just STOP my blog where the Google Team and the computer love the Einstein's image but this is my blog and I'm not Einstein. They thought I have a "male brain and my words seem like Einstein and his genius." Aahahhahahahaha! You guys are out of your mind. That's what happened when the tent has been lifted off space and you can see all the bugs and stars from up there. Remember the giant cavern can enclosed 12 baseball stadiums. That's how giant, that's how huge that area. It's no secret! That is not a secret if you know how to read. Books have them. Books have the complete story of that cavern found by Jim and discovered the ins and out of that cavern. Carlsberg beer was named after that cavern to identify that area that comprised so many countries around the world. How to guard those areas? Have you seen those bloodhounds? All ports are guarded tightly by carnivorous animals ready to devour your flesh.

Many movies and novels were made to portray such cavern in the past. Still is consider mysterious by people everywhere. It's like opening a box and you'll be surprised on what's inside it.

Surprise! Surprise!!

What's My Futuristic Vision

Whoops! You're out of space. You are currently using 100% of your 1 GB quota for photos. Upgrade storage
Photos are stored in your Picasa Web Albums account and are included in your 1 GB free quota for photos. Additional storage you purchase is shared between several Google products and is in addition to your free quota. Learn more

^ There the explanation to the FREE Photo storage via Picasa is over! I didn't know that the photos being uploaded here through blogs are stored in Picasa.

I can still blog for free but cannot post photographs. Unless of course if I purchase GB for storage. Still is they will ask for payment of blogs no matter what.

What's good a blog without photos? Incomplete! So I will stop blogging just like so many bloggers here at Google. I'll think this over. However...

I think it's better to start another brand new blog. Leave this blog for now. My computer has lots of photo storage. I will keep on taking photographs for my photography and my computer hard drive will be able to carry what I'm doing for this special task.

It's kind of sad that I was able to help Google from all the strategy and all that made them billionaires while I'd been taking for granted. It's weird.

I'm giving them the brain to think if they have...maybe they will know how valuable are the many "players and taskmasters" who are spending so much of their time, money and effort to provide innovations for their company even if these players and taskmasters are not paid. See people this is what is taking a toll on being "volunteer." It wont give you anything in return.

Boycotting the company?! What? Oh, that happened before, actually in the past. Look at what happened to Yahoo. It was boycotted by millions of blogwriters. Even the Yahoo management were reshuffled and others just quit. It 's messy though. Well hoping Google and its management will think twice about this because computer is not cheap. Hard drive's not cheap. Digital cameras and photo memory cards not cheap either.  Connection or connecting our computers to the internet provider is not free. To pay for the blog and photo storage? Holy sh--! I think that's greed.

To boycott the whole computer and electronics and machines? It happened already in the time of Watson and Einstein. All machines burnt to ashes. War broke down. There that's what happened in the past. Back to writing with paper, ink, pencil and pens.

Such A Very Sad Story

"Whoops! You're out of space for photo storage."  There 'ya go! Reading that message is like a fatal blow. I can no longer post photos here at my blog. So sad madam tussad! Wahhhhhhh!
He he he.

Imagine after I bought so many photo memory cards. 16GB + 8GB + 8GB + 8GB. Darn! Oh what a life!!

Hmm, sure thing is this would be another blow to the economy. LOL! I first thought I'm helping economy by buying memory cards, batteries, renewing digital camera. Three hard drives gone, one laptop burnt out, internet connection, and what else? Adding all the many purchases in the making or owning a blog is worth more than you can imagine. PRICELESS!

Am I the only one experiencing this kind of message? Or another blogger received that message too from Google?

Wow! Totally weird. I'm gonna go crazy right now.

Ahahahahaha Whaahahahaaaaaaaaaa!))))))))))

According To The Myth -O- Logy

It felt like springtime in winter time. How could that be? I'm still having my ceiling fan on working while I'm working here in front of my computer. Reason for this is the temperature is hot not cold. The island is located in the Pacific rim and it should be included in the ring of fire. What does it means? The island should have a tropical weather or climate just like tropical islands in the world. So why the hell we are receiving snow in the island during winter time? Wow! Good question. The wind sometimes carried the snowflakes down on the island naturally but sometimes the artificial snow blower can do such justice. Oh let say the fairy uses her magic wand once in a while to sprinkle snow flakes so that you'll have the Christmas spirit of goodwill and merrymaking. Yeah sometimes costly wishes from so many children wishing for snow angels.

I have so many wishes too. Maybe hundred wishes. How about you? What are your wishes? What are your dreams? What is your ambition and what is your prime ultimate goal?

Last night I happened to watch the old movie of Kevin Costner in his movie role as Jim Garrison, the district attorney in New Orleans, who was the prosecutor in that movie JFK. A movie about the conspiracy theory and assassination of the former US Pres. John F. Kennedy. You probably knew the whole story so let me just conclude and tell you what I understand in that story. The story revolved in the evnts leading to the time of the assassination of the US president and who are the many suspects. Lee Harvey Oswald was the leading suspect, who was an ex-marine and worked for the Russian (Soviet). In this movie HLO killed the police men not JFK.  He was killed though by another assassin named Jack Ruby (name seems made up or codified). What is Clay Shaw doing in the court house? He was accused as one of the conspirators? What Shaw got do with it? Well we all know that Shaw is a Boulevard and it's a television network. Was Clay Shaw (played by Tommy Lee Jones) a TV mogul? I don't know. What really very interesting in this movie is Kevin Costner's monologue. Hear and listen to Kevin's voice. Voice that is as mild and calm like Ann Medina of History channel. The voice that you will listen to even if it takes an hour. He is an eloquent speaker and probably won championship in debate, oratorical contest. Distinct voice with a calming effect, the long speech which is the last deliberation for the judge to openly announce whether the defendant and his client  is guilty or not. In Jim Garrison's speech he mentioned that the real story and the whole complete archive of JFK will be open for public viewing at the national museum in the year 2039.

What?! Am I hearing it correctly? 2039! Why in the year 2039?

2039  20 (twenty)  thirty (30)  9 (nine)

2  0  3  9

When Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner) played the video of the assassination scene in Dallas, Texas he keeps mentioning back and forth, the words " left and back." Left and back! Slow motion of the "scenes." The former first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy was seen pulling out something from the seat of the car. Then she was holding on to the body of JFK. Then the scenes were repeated a lot of times again and again on the screen.

Why they have to wait for year 2039?

Can I just reveal it here that they need modern TV in year 1963?

Rocketry and missiles + booster were accomplished in 1969. Apollo landing and launch,  astronauts walking on the moon popularized the beginning of modern warfare called TV. Television sets on every households brought on much needed boost to American economy. Less gossiping and less population. Actually television and other modern gadgets helped millions of families around the world. It is the most modern contraceptive according to a chinese genius named Mr. C.

The world is mysterious and so is the Earth. Human beings are as mysterious as God.  When God said, "you are the reflection of God if you are doing the right thing." Is Jesus Christ mysterious?

Movies, Movies, Movies!!!!!

TRUTH IS we are all responsible for our own blog. I AM the ones working in my blogs nobody else. I am multi-tasker. I don't need anybody to do it. It's just blogging writing as simple as that. I'm not that lazy because I can do my housework: cooking, house cleaning, laundry, ironing clothes, sewing, grocery shopping with husband and blogging, drawing, short-story writing, photography ALL these work I can do with my own hands. Honestly writing esp. blogging is just peanuts to me. I can blog without any notes on hand to tell me what to do next. It's all in my mind. I have a very long memory (Bragging rights extended. No expiry date).

Sunday today and supposedly it's time to have a great relaxation but look at outside how gorgeous it is. Wrong weather forecast again at the weather network. Unpredictable weather is highly regarded as "women thing." It keeps changing all the time. Thank goodness I am no Kathy Bates (Misery) the actress, when it rains she had this compulsive manic behaviour wherein her mind gets haywire and she needs to inflict injury. Yeah it's only a movie. That old movie is so intense you wont believe it's unpredictable situation.

Last nite we watched a new movie of Will Smith, "Men In Black 3." I watched the first Men in Black  and Men in Black 2 to compare the three movies? The first one is the best I think it's because we all haven't seen their weapons and all those weird aliens. So that's the better deal. When it comes to 2 and 3 we have seen some of those weapons from previous movie so it's not a matter of surprise. Then 2nd movie more aliens to watch and another surprising plot. The third movie is finding secrets and revelation plus a spoof in the restaurant nightmares when the chef is a crocodile and how you can mess up time travel and warp. What introduce in the third sequel is the modern cycle similar to South Park. Will Smith didn't grow old here but Tom who is represented by a younger Tom who looks like either  Bush or the oo7 (Josh Brolin) guy then when it's the real Tommy Lee Jones again at the ending he looks like Walther Matthau. Hmm, what's wrong with my vision? Or what is so wrong with the movies and their make-up artist? Or what is the reason behind the lighting effect? That's the secret of the Illuminati. LIGHT plays a huge part in the making of special effects and it can be deceiving.

What my daughter really wants to watch is the LIFE of PI. It would be impossible to have this movie in real-life situation. So I think the movie has its 3D moments , of many special effects brought to you by modern gadgets and computer generated mechanics.

NOTE: Lately Storms in the Philippines are named from male names. I wonder what kind of storms or typhoons they are. Are they stronger?

Mother Nature Plea!

22 Days to Christmas! Wow!! Oh my how excited are you? I for myself is very excited and always will be not becuse of the gift-giving and receiving but because baby Jesus is being born again.

I don't know how happy I'll become on fast approaching holidays but maybe there is that child in me...being so childish and Christmas is always the time of happiness, get together, potlucks, christmas mass (simbang gabi), delicious food and sweet pastry, children and adults dress in their festive stylish fashion, christmas decorations on the streets, houses, buildings, parks and shopping malls. Shopping spree knows no bounds for so many and it's shop till you drop gangnam style. Calm down and keep on funding! Hahahaha! J/K

How lucky are the very fortunate who have everything and unlucky for those who don't have anything. Think again. Those who have nothing get something now because of the many donations they received c/o charity or charitable organizations. You must thank the many generous donors who drop coins and bills of money on many kettles through Salvation Army. You must also thank the anonymous donors who just donate without their names being mentioned or broadcasted the whole world to see and know.

Nothing goes empty handed in this new generation. Nobody's greedy. Nobody's a grinch. He wont stole our Christmas ever.

What's new lately in this part of the world? The weather is nice. The sun is up. No rain! Yehey! Cooler weather though enough for us to have thermal vest or jacket and boots to wear. Snowy winter alpine. Yes! Our mountains here is now favorable for skiing, snowboarding and hiking. Super G and slalom? The would be athletes can do that on Mount Washington, even Whistler has enough thick snow for the athletes to enjoy. It's come of unusual we haven't receive snow here where I live, in this time of the year I wonder why. However it's great that there is no snow outside our home, only on top of the mountains. I'm not praying for early snow in Campbell. Not now nor on Christmas day. Maybe after Christmas. LOL. You hear that Mother Nature eh? You have to listen to me. Okay gtg now have something important to do. Ciao!

This Is Who I Am Straight To The Point

Pink is the color of life. It is the color of good health. But it is also the color of breast cancer awareness. Why? Why they choose such color? Pink is the color of feminity and pink is superbly 'feminine" no matter what. It is the color of cerebrum, the thinking matter inside your brain is colored pink! The thinking, tinkering, memory bank, for your thoughts, skills, mental cues and all related motor skills, language, speech and all that makes you a human being looks pinky. So I will resort to this blog color background because the bamboo and gray is getting obnoxious already. It's like hitting my face with greyish metallic effect and the bamboo background gives me the creep of its rough, sharp texture. It might lead me to relate stories that are so pinkie nourishing effect of feminity in its truest form. Maybe I'll be more girly in thoughts, in words and in deeds after all the blogwriter is a female not male. Who the blogwriter?

It's me!!!! Who else? Can you read? Oh thank God you can read!

I know I am becoming territorial here but all of us do. We all have to. I speak my mind and women have that common trait which they hate. They hate opinionated woman.

So for the meantime let me have this "pink sign raising my pinkie finger straight up to heaven."

What Could Be The Best Solution?

How to find out if the "news story" is legitimate or not about the rent payment for our blogs? If they will send a bill or receipt. Still not a valid reason to pay right away. We have to ask their business license. Right, they have to let us see their business license if they are the true, correct and legitimate business owner of Blogger Google who provides us with blogs template. Because after all we have reasons, million reasons to complain.

The announcement should be announced actually at their website through the main and they should have it broadcast on television news. There are so many unscrupulous fake news nowadays so the yearly blog rental payment of $10 for blogging is nothing although are we to pay fake owners? NO!

If they are making so much money from all the blogs we have here in the internet it's about time we see their financial statement and will take everything through legal means. That's how it works now.

I don't think the head honchos even know what's happening in all the Blogger blogs aside from those hackers who are really the ones to be blamed from stealing what we had worked here for so many years.

Take a rest, relax and watch old movie "Enlightened." A movie about technocrats, the people behind computer and their mechanics and what's really going on at the basement. Who are the "minions" and what kind of work they do?

Nobody's perfect. We all try to be perfect. We are not God. You are not God either. So what to do now? I cannot let my blogs stolen or pay for the yearly rent when they are the ones benefit from it all? That's totally unfair right?

On the other lighter side it's okay to pay yearly rent but we want the readers to pay what they are reading. Do you think the readers will pay? That will create employment and revenue. PAY PER VIEW. Is that okay? How's that to you is that better solution to the Blogging Community at Google?

ONE DOLLAR A MONTH !

ONE dollar per month blogging! How true is this? I have so many questions arising to the message on the computer screen while I had a visit to my old blog. Aren't they supposed to email us formally and told us about that information rather than a pop up message on the screen? I don't mind paying ten dollars per year in US currency or Canadian currency for blogging but here's the deal provided that they tell me how much they are paid for my blogs. Are they  making money from all my blogs? That's the million dollar question. It should work both ways right?

How we can reach the Google Blogger management because sometimes when they emailed us or inform us with new apps the headletter always stated: no-reply kind of message. What? We can't respond to them thr. email? Why? Who are the head honcho of Google?

What is their philosophy? Don't be evil, right? Who's th evil here?

Maybe we all have to consult our problems to Mr. Larry Page and Sergei Brin. After all they are Google's leader when it comes to this blogging inno business. I don't know if Kathryn knows all the pathways if she knows she should have told us but she's going on for a break so what could be the option?

Options in gold?

You've Got To Know This Info

Have you seen sarah lately? Why on earth she is everywhere? She's like chucky willing to devour us. She's no kiity kat but she's there where I can see her smiling like as if she has a hearst down the road. My God her awful grin is frightening. She smiles, grins like a lunatic. Thank goodness that there are private investogators, central intelligence unit and so many people willing to cover my arse. For God sake woman what 's with your lunar calendar? Uhm waitcha my chinese calendar doesn't have that clear indication of a full moon nor a crescent. I wonder what she's getting cuckoo about. Sounds a wonderful plot for my novel. I don't need to consult the Otis laboratory for her exam result she showed her face right there where I can see her. Right sarah is beautiful, looks gifted but there is something weird about her. I can read her mind and it's frightening to see her there. I found her a psychopath more than that guy in psycho the movie. Dudette you are so creepy! Aahhahaha! You should write more amytiville horror.

Your game? Footprints in the sand where sea anemone will carry you through the darkest path and fight with all the hydra knowing the anemone and the hydra are friends. They will sommersault or do the cartwheel and know what that's terrifying. Even neo is afraid of the hydra! LOL.

Jokes! Jokes! I'm no techie , technophobe either but I love writing and nobody can stop me. If I stop blogging and writing on this platform those hoodlums will ransack my house once again, burglarize my home just to get my written notes. While if I will have them written here they will just hack the info from my computer. Get it? Now that you my dear readers know why I'm writing here instead almost everyday.

Unpredicatbility in Newscasting

Too many newstories that can make your eyebrows arch a little further away from its original poistion. I think it's one of those strategies implemented to break some news so that it's not redundant. News around the world suffered redundancy and it is not a good thing for the world, for the earth that continues to stay alive. Everyone wants news story that will wake up everyone's senses. We all need something new even if its creepy, out of this world, crazy or unbelievable. Know why? It's just the name of the game in the "rat race."

Whether it's unbelievable or not news story make lots of noise to please their listeners and viewers and television networks would like to feast on these news because they are unpredictable.

Recently I heard and watched news on TV about the bid for the Palestine to be a "state" and votes were then passed in the United nations; 138 countries voted and 9 countries were opposed: including Canada, US, Israel and 6 other countries. Where is Palestine? Palestine is in Israel although they are small minority group of ethnic people within that country and they want a "state" of their own and it seems that they  granted statehood. More news to follow and if you want to know what the story is all about better study the History of Israel and Palestine (Canaan) through old books from the library and museums.

Later, on another channel is the story about online scam where people from the Philippines used credit cards to order products from the internet. You know what? Why don't you people just order or buy your goods and other commodities from the many shopping malls near you? Too many department stores in the Philippines. Just a good advice from me. The reason why credit card and online purchase is necessary here in Canada and the US it's because not too many department stores here. No big or huge malls here in Canada that you people in the Philippines are happy about. The distance to travel to the shopping malls are way too far for comfort and if the weather is bad due to cold, snow and other hazards along the road it's best to shop online. And if you don't like being scammed online? Use pre-paid cards. Oh I know you would like to use credit cards because cash and debit's not available. For your own safety? Stop shopping. Just be thrifty. Don't buy anything except food and pay your bills on time and thereby you wont have problem at all.

Go Shop Around

So many expenses lately. Why in this month of the year? November the peculiar month of the year is not only the busiest it is the start of early shopping spree. It is the busiest time, month, second to month of December for buying and selling.

Videos I watched recently about people in the Philippines would rather shop now for Christmas gifts and raw food: meat, canned goods, juice boxes and softdrinks. Reason for this is it's better too early than too late. The most experienced shoppers would like to have the products and materials now instead of cramming up later in the month of December because by that time the supply is not enough and the price of commodities are too high.

To believe in the economist's point of view with the law of supply and demand:

"If the price is high, the demand is low."

"If the demand is high, the price is low."

Different countries have different idea and opinion when it comes to the supply and demand of products and demand for labor.

In the Philippines when there's greater demand for raw materials such as lumber and electronics the sellers would increase the price. It should be low price for those commodities right? This is also so true with food, raw food like rice and other grains. Then when the demand for some products are very low they will lower the price so that they can sell them right away.

The Chinese family that I know who owns a variety store offers discount on their products and less profit for every product they sell to their customers. Know why? They want to sell all their products right away before they expire. You keep marking products too high and nobody buys them until their products become useless and they gained nothing because of greed. This is so true with food, and other so called non-perishable food canned goods with markings of the date of expiry. Make sure you bring your magnifying lens when you're shopping so that you wont fall victim to those greedy shop owners. Label. Watch for the labels carefully.

Did you know that cosmetic products have expiry date too? I bought an expensive make- up and lipstick considering they are costly and of good quality compared with the rest of other low quality brand but don't be fooled of the brand for they might lead you to buying expired products that they keep selling for so many years. Expensive brand name products don't guarantee it's the best kind of consumer products. Buyer's beware!

My son will have to replace his eyeglasses handle. It's the same problem that my husband's eyeglasses' handle problem before. Expensive eyewear! Handles are cheap. Why? So that you can go back again for another one? Weird! I bought an eyeglasses in the Philippines for only P1,000 it's a good brand name but durable. The appointment, prescription and time of waiting to have it done in matters of one hour all included in that amount P1,000 only! I don't think there are optometrist or eye doctor who can do such good service here in Canada. That's one thing I have to thank in Philippines. You can ask for discount right at the time of buying.  They know the value of hardworking people and there are people who are not greedy to suck oxygen from their valued customers so that they can still breathe and manage to see the way where they are going.

Shop around. Don't just concentrate on one store. That's the power of consumers. You have the right to choose after all you have a mind of your own.

MY OPINION IS MINE ALONE Nobody Else!

Disclaimer? Every writer, author or blogwriters around the world and through the internet and their opinion vary differently from day to day and always depend on given situation and article they are writing. You cannot accuse anybody of being a "poser, impostor" just because their opinion is different from yours. I think I always tried to emphasize and elaborate that sometimes and its becoming such a detail but I can always repeat that same opinion again just to tell them and if you want to read what 's inside my mind.

There is nothing wrong with being opinionated. I bet so many of you are opinionated in a way that it clashed with the opinions of others. It's okay. We all have to think and we all have reasons. People are naturally born with a mind that can think for themselves but if they want to borrow what others think then it's fine. Others would like to play "bambi" and just shut up and keep secrets to themselves because they learned that if they have something bad to say then it's better to just keep it to themselves so that they wont hurt others with their bad opinion and intentions. Great! You'll have heart ailment with that. Good for keeping quiet you have no voice to reason out and you don't have a way.

I don't think my intention is bad. As a matter of fact my good intention is productive and creative. I think I helped so many people who don't have a voice. My blog is noisy anyway. Nosy? Uhm, that's another story and the spelling doesn't match. You know what I mean? Something works because there are two opposite sides. There is no angel without evil. There is no goodness in this world without wrongdoers. Nobody is right because everything's wrong. Our life is determined in a very philosophical way that life exist because we choose the way to live according to the dictates of our good mind with a conscience. We favored what is good and what lies ahead is the problem of the liars.

I have a conscience and I believe in the truth no matter how it plays in the end. About the fakes, fakers and superficials? It's up to them to live and what games they are playing but I have one word to them "F'> OFF!

Nobody wants to be a victim! If you want to victimize us it's up to you but I want you to end up in the slammer and pay the victims whom you victimized.

Holidays are fast approaching I hope the victimizers wont lure the sick and the dying and most of all shoppers and consumers who only would like to spend their hard-earned dollars. Shopping is great and would like the economy to turn around. If the economy is great good things follow and everyone benefits from all these festivity.

What's New and What's Old?

I seldom get out of my comfort zone rather getting out of the house is more than just buying groceries or fabric at my favorite fabric store, otherwise getting out is not my duty and responsibility it's not even in my point of order. I only find out what's happening in my small community through local newspaper and from old friends relating few stories of who are the newcomers or who died. Lately I decided not to order from an aquaintance because it seems that her news is always about people who recently passed away or those people who are already posted in the obituary of the local newspaper. I hate those sad stories especially in a small city like where I am.

Seldom there is violence in the city, or rather consider this small community as a town neither rural nor urban. In other words somewhere in between. But it's okay no matter how small the population still is it's peaceful here and I think am the only "loud" here because of my blog. The blog that never sleeps, always active and productive which is good. Alive and kicking. We actually need blogs like this to make the city lively and vibrant just like the metropolis and just like the main Vancouver island. There are so many beautiful people here and hardworking people with cheery character and optimistic view, well until the pulp mill closed down and the saw mill shut down it's business. Gone was the food fair were old folks, the seniors and club officers and members used to get together and have cup of coffee. Gone are the familiar cheerful character and seniors who were my constant customers for coffee, ice cream and cinnamon buns. Seventeen years ago when all is great with the economy and everything is good and happiness abound. The old shopping mall was closed down and then managed by new business people willing to boast new kind of trendy commercial atmosphere and maybe it will boost and enlighten the spirit of commercialism in this part of the province. Maybe if they can also use the shopping mall for food fair and craft fair and many extra avenue for the many city residents starved of pure entertainment especially in this time for the holiday season.

As if TV is not enough and so as computers. Whatever!

I know adding such extras mean extra pouring out financial expenses when times are so hard already. Anyway just my idea. My opinion is sometimes out of this world and it's up to you not to follow.

Know what? Canadians have seen the mad-rush of Canadians and Americans for the Black Friday shopping frenzy and that made so many business owners think and  have that kind of trend for next year. But of course Boxing Day is one of a kind here and it's bigger than Black Friday. So hold your horsies and make sure you have your finance in stability when those sales arrive.

If you want to wait for TARGET and discover what they have in store for you...you'll have to wait for next year because the building they are supposed to get in and display their products is under renovation.

Zellers out. Target in. You think it will be a NEW exciting additional and exciting shopping trend for all of us here? Let us see, watch and discover.

For the meantime Wal-mart and Commons the place to be for your shopping needs. The more stores the merrier and the competition? Stiff, tight, robust and extreme! Yeah maybe!
I don't know if you are also having problem with Facebook and Google. But most of the problems are in Facebook lately. I found that not only I'm the sole owner of my Facebook account lately I discovered there are so many using my account. For God sake! Who are they? I closed my first Facebook account because I discovered the same problem. Why I have to deal with this? Why other account users don't have problems the same with my situation? What's in my account that they are so interested? Are they hackers? Are they using my name and account for scam and fraud? That I really have to be WORRIED. My God! How could I sleep with this problem? I'm already having anxiety. Who are these HACKERS? What they really want from my account?

Would you believe that when I first started my account here in Google Blogger there is only one Verna Turner later on months have passed by and all of a sudden the same name had mushroomed all over the internet. Even on Facebook there are so many names just like mine. Hundred names same as mine?! That's unbelievable right?

If they are copying my blogs don't know what they will gain from them I mean can they sell my blogs? Oh... they can sell my stories, my novella in La Taverna. Right, that's probably what these wicked hackers are doing. They can copy and paste the stories and make them into their own. That's what happening in the internet. The scammers and fraudsters can do that. They can rule my blogs and act as if they are "me" and sell whatever I have here without my knowledge by logging in here using my password. But how they can have access to my password? It's impossible to know my very long complicated password unless of course that hacker or culprit works inside the company who owns Blogger or Google or Facebook. It could be an inside job.

No. I should not think about that. My blogs are not "tower heist - the movie." My blogs are nothing compared to other blogs around the internet. Why they would be interested in my blogs? Million dollar question WHY? Why everytime my blogs and Facebook account is being hacked? What are your problems????????????????????????????? Are you so sick? What's wrong with you?

As I remember my computer was already been hacked, the whole computer was on "alert" because another anti-virus software infiltrated my computer when it has already had that anti-virus software. Why would another software can penetrate another computer when there is already built-in software inside? You bet that's another hacker's software trying to steal all the information from my computer and it act as an anti-virus computer software but from another person or another computer. Complicated?

Have you seen the movie Cliffhanger? Two planes (2 computers) one plane with bank money and another plane with hi-jackers. The hi-jackers trying to steal the money from the other plane. Weird!? Right it is so weird and so annoying you and I would rather have not to trust anybody here in the net. It's really better to deal person to person that you can see or talk to. Hear the right correct voice and see the right correct face without disguise.

However, WE ALL have to unite that no scammer or fraudster can strike again on us. We all have some kind of unity that will protect us from these stubborn hackers and infiltrators trying to lure us and steal our intellectual property. We will no longer fall victim to these hackers who don't have special skills because they only hack because they are not really skilled. Their skills if there's any  are for thievery only and that's a very poor, very poor wicked and low-life that no amount of forgiveness be given to these thieves.

All TV This Time

Everyone knows in Canada it was the Toronto Argonauts who won the 100th Grey Cup > National Football League against the Calgary Stampeders for 2012. The Stamps were also happy about the outcome to say the least there is no stampede happening nor any bad news of trying to argue with the result, unlike what happened in Vancouver riot when the Canucks lose its chance to be the champ during the hockey battle with Boston Bruins. That  was one of a kind riot made the fans real mad and gungho because it's Canucks chance to win and they didn't make it and everyone's questioning the result including me questioning so many of them. LOL! Okay past is past! Sorry for adding controversy.

The controversy is passed on to the Bieber's presentation or performance at the championship math singing "Boyfriend." Ha ha ha ha! No wonder they heard so many boos. Whatever! Then he sung another one that made the audience booed again because it's "Beauty and The Beat!" Where's the Beast? Oh well, where are you Raven?

No. Not really funny. I know what you are after now. Connection and connecting again. FGS!

OKay I know you oldies (J/K) would love Turner and Bach. The Queen or Nickleback. Perhaps you'll love Jacob Hoggard doing his rock and roll and or him playing the piano with loud bang of the musical instruments electric guitar and drums and rock and roll tunes hitting up to heaven. Next time you as fans of the NFL should have a say on who's who should perform. Ask a BAND. The band with the complete instruments to rock your soul. At least the half-time show will complete and satisfy your cravings. Right?

Now what happened in the Amazing Race 2012? The contestants and crew went to Amsterdam from Russia. Remember this small country of Holland or Netherlands? Amazing Race crews and the past contestants went here before and tried to cross the canal by jumping on the other side using the pole or rod. They went to the museum, they danced, etc. Abby and Ryan were eliminated in this leg of the race. Some other team had them "u-turned." People are asking why not the Sri-lankan twins? Because they did something naughty... stealing James and Abba's money when it fell on the ground. Maybe they thought "it's finder's keeper kind of game."  Dunno really if that's part of the script or what really is the motive there. But they let it happened anyway. Maybe James and Abba really want to stay there in Russia until Year 2014. Who knows eh? Guessing game. LOL. Phil Keoughan asked Josh and his partner if they would rather be eliminated so that Abby and Ryan can go on with the race but the two guys insisted they will proceed with the race. There is something weird with this race. It's up to you to understand the complications if you can understand the true meaning of this race.

Is IT Just Me Or You?

I am no desperate staring at wide open space and or blank space as if being hypnotized. I wont be like Patrick O'Brian the great author of books who posed for his book back cover with his right hand on his face and chin. I'm a blogger who never run out of subject to discuss or relate to even if I talk to myself, think alone and tinkering about so many things that need answer.

I know you are all madly in love with your favorite games, favorite sports and favorite television shows. It's been more than a week now that almost everyone's gaga over the GREY CUP. It's the 100th Grey Cup! The star studded sports event will be aired today. Venue: Toronto, Ontario. What is so fascinating about the Grey Cup? Football is a national sports of Canada and is the second most popular sports second to hockey. Revenues created for football games and other sports in the country Canada has brought in billions of dollars. It provided millions of employment and millions of workers. It's great for the country and it's so great for the economy!

From what I heard and saw on TV that the Grey Cup was 4x broken because it was sat on four times by people I don't even know. Really? Then the Grey Cup was stolen twice and held for ransom!! Really?! I am not aware of this wild information.

Anyway, Canadians around the world will be watching the sports > Football Championship: Calgary Stampeders Vs. Toronto Argonauts. Today. Sunday.

Half-time show provided by the senational hearthrob of the young generation of today: Justin Bieber of "Baby, baby fame" and the Call Me Maybe and Hole in the bucket, female American Music awardee Carly Rae Jepsen (had her intro to the musicworld via Canadian idol).

What happened to the Lions? They still have the bridge and the lions they are still the kings of the jungle and still sit on the pedestal of a massive structure and at the concrete stairs at the Vatican. All is well and everything's okay what else is there to be unhappy about?

Extra Vehicular Activity

OMG! I can't hardly breathe. I tried so many of my new dress, pair of pants and blouses and some of them are either too tight or just right without any allowance or space to breath. You bet I have to reduce. I have to watch my diet and eat only little bit, tiny portion of food. Eat more leafy vegetables, less carbohydrates, less meat, and less carbonated drinks.

I will look after my body the way I see myself in the mirror. Too bad! My vision seems my enemy right now.  LOL.

While I watch "The Lang O'Leary show arguing about financial aspects of consumers, it made me laugh when Kevin said all over again about MONEY and CASH. He prefers cash transaction rather than be a slave to debit and credit. Also not a good idea to withdraw your hard earned RRSP because that's beneficial for your old age security. He's so right about that. With cash you tend to appreciate the value of money and you watch your spending and you become so thrifty and economically wise. You don't buy things that are not important. But you know what? Men are like Kevin's their opinions are "manly" when they buy something that they really need they will really use those product, commodities or whatever tools or toys they purchased from the stores. Unlike women who are not only picky or choosy but they used to buy on impulse. Impulsive buying due to commodities that they collect or because their girlfriends have them. Women go with the trends. They are fashionable. Whatever is in demand in the market they will buy right away so that they are not left behind. It's more like "girl issues" and women are girls, they all are shopaholics. I mean ALL not some or few. Common denominator. Women have that kind of special traits of the purchasing power that's why they are always the contributors to the fashion world, family values, maternal rewards, economy, politics, science and everything that's happening in this world. They are the curious, meticulous full of sense group of females leading the world in the 21st century. Hardworking women do what they want because that's their duty, obligation and responsibility in this world > to be the trendsetter. They set the trends, and they make things "happened". If you know what I mean.

Now what? Another EVA?

Sleepy Hallow?

A lot of differentiation happened in the past two days let alone meeting unexpected people. If that "people" is a jewelry store it would probably accumulate more gems than one could ever imagine. But you know what it doesn't help the weather. Only few sunshine and more showers in this part of the world while other countries are so dry that they always resort to some sort of "air raid" to produce dark clouds. A different kind of "air raid" is made in other countries hostile to big immigration. Another exodus is not their prime target.

Low pressure? High pressure? Blood pressure or bad press-sure?! Not in this time of the year because I'm not buying it.

November-December should be the months of productivity and spending. Although economists would like to resonate it is also a time of  budgeting. True! Be careful. Impulse buying is something we have to stop. BUY only goods and services that will be of benefit to you and your family. Of course FOOD is the number one priority if you have a home. A home that is safe and secured. A home that is equipped with all the utilities and tools needed for all kinds of season. Your home is similar to vehicle with all the equipments needed to turn the wheels and ignition, with all four season wheels to move on and not to drive you insane.

A home is a vehicle? Well don't think of your home as a mobile camper. It's not what you think it is. In your home it's you moving around. When you move inside you get to exercise and boost your immune system instead of just sitting down and doing nothing. You know what I mean?

Linking yourself to others by family and friends is a matter of hello and goodbye and simple greetings if you are on  a budget. For the well to do? Giving gifts are better than having nothing to give. While it contradicts a wise saying "it's better to give than to receive." Really? Or is it better to have exchange gifts instead? Give and you shall receive. Whatever!

I'm just trying to change the weather and that's my goal. My prime goal since I arrived here in Canada. I'm here in Canada for the past twenty years and I'm still a HAPPY Filipina! I'm helping Canadians to be enclosed inside the ring. Outside the ring? You'll be in sleepy hallow.

Expect The Unexpected

There's no amount of budget that will stop anybody from doing the things they love or you'll just let them die. Which is better? Don't move! Is not moving the answer so that we wont spend anything? We wont eat anymore? Let the wind blow us away from our stagnant life? Only lifeless body wont move or adjust to any given situation. To budget is not the only way to a good economy. But you have to be aware of what you are buying nowadays. Be conscientious. Be very aware and most of all "caveat emptor!" Let buyers' beware!

That's a constant guide to economics.

According to the Finance Minister the economy is in budget deficit until year 2016 to 2017. Okay. Economists knew how to predict the ecotrends. They can see how economy and economic condition of other countries in the world. The terrible economic downtrends in the US makes economist like Minister of Finance worried about the Canadian economy. How a very powerful nation can be vulnerable to the Depression era? Dude that happened in the past already under Roosevelt. We all have to tighten our belt. You can either have roost or feather duster, but who cares? No one is immune about the rise and fall of the economy. We all know that. One day you're happy and one day you are sad. One day you are rich and one day you are poor! lol. Standard and Poor?!! I know of so many millions of people who are unhappy even if they are rich. So what the hell.

Well first of all blame all the calamities. Are they man-made or natural? According to the genius in another website some of these calamities are man-made. OMG! She knew. She had lots of apples around her hometown. Maybe it's time to plant coconut trees. Yeah right, you have millions of coconut trees only to be polluted by coal plants. Oh weird science. How on earth we are back to the time of our ancestors? Are we in the time machine and we have this so called revival?

Industrialization of a country helps produce commodities at a faster rate but will only help the machineries get employed not the people. Great for the manufacturer of these helpful machines eliminating the power of millions of people unemployed. It should be good right? You don't need to work let the machines work. Machines wont work without people attending to them. We all know that. There are machines that cannot function without the hands of people pushing, clicking the buttons or pressing the buttons for them to work. In other words, machines still need the basic control to work. However, less workers are needed. Work that employs hundred people is now being manned by ONE person. How's that? Is that good?

Go to the biggest supermarket near you and watch how machines can do wonder to your convenience. Let group of people queue at several cash register to have their goods scanned by the scanner with the help of the cashier holding the scanner of course. Then on another aisle let you scan your own items and five more lines with people scanning the items of purchase. Did you know that there is another stall there watching what you register on the screen and pressing your next task to do at the till. One cashier tending to different stalls which is not a fast lane actually because she is also attending to other four stalls. Sounds too good to be true as a way to minimize line ups at the mall or supermarket but the issue is not all convenient.

We tend to go in the fastest way to accelerate at a distance so that we can be on the top only to be disappointed. Life is like that causing so much imperfections. Nothing works and nothing is perfect. We all have to be reminded that in order to satisfy our needs we have to expect the unexpected!

AC/DC Code? Bulok na yan! Laos na. Change your code. An old code doesn't work anymore in today's time and age. Learn from your mistakes.

Tomorrow is Wednesday. Thank goodness. All what's rubbish and garbage will be collected. It seems that there are so much garbage and the collection is only once a week. Compost maybe is really the answer. Compost bin outside the yard is acceptable and maybe appreciated.

What's today news as it circles round the globe? Oh, the CIA director's affair? Really? I think that's how to make a book nowadays. The more controversy the more it will be talked about even if they are sometimes mere "fabrication." Produce a movie ala-James Bond where all the G7 members are all disguised superheroes Vs. aliens.

Fabric yeah textile hehehe. I love textiles. Sewing again? Uhm, maybe next time.

Breakfast? Would you believe my son and husband had lasagna for breakfast today? Cinnamon buns and bagels all consumed and they don't want the tasty bread. According to my son he woke up at 5:00 AM at about past 8AM that lasagna is already his lunch meal. Okay, that's a reason I can accept. I will worry about lunch for me and my daughter. Simple meal is better not to over eat at winter time.

Right now, it's a message from Finance Minister Jim Flaherty I was listening to on TV. Budget, budget, budget! BUDGET...to balance the budget. What to worry? CANADA has a strong economy compared to other countries. All you need to do now is breathe and calm down please.

Monday Today, Tomorrow Is Tuesday

Monday, oh Monday! Back to work for so many of us either at home or work outside. What's the work here in my community with so many volunteers? I know that the city employees are paid for their work whether they work or not but because they are on the payroll. The workers, sales clerks are at work but are they really busy? Now that the biggest retail store Zellers closed down their business probably that lessen the competition and big box stores Staples, Superstore, Walmart can rebound and its business as usual without much competition or lesser. Dollar Stores? There are at least three branches in this small community of at least fifty thousand people. Small population eh? Not that small compared to the first city that I lived and first known what Canada is. That city has a population of only 12,000!
Imagine? You bet I was cultured shock wayback then being in a populated country when living in a community of more than hundred thousands and the next adjacent town where population is in millions.

If you are a nature lover you have to reside near the forest where the presence of evergreen wooded area is beyond compare. Watch and hear, listen to the daily chirps of birds, the commotion of forest animals such as squirrels, beavers, racoons, deer, and elks. No you wont hear the noise of your neighbors. People here don't make too much noise. Unlike living in the big city where honking vehicle's loud noise, heavy traffic, cursing of impatient drivers are prevalent. The non-stop noise from the on-coming back and forth of trains and other bustling sounds uncommon in small city and town.

Sea view, mountain view which one will you prefer. It's truly amazing to have your house settled in both worlds with two majestic sceneries. You will probably wont leave your house anymore just to admire what is there to see and appreciate all the amenities before you. Beautiful panoramic view helps any writer brings out great inspiration to their kind of writing. While a boring scenery brings out a different perspective and that view will only resort to a different kind of story, perhaps a horror novel designed for movie.

It is what you can see with your own eyes and perceive extra sense of stimulus out there that will help you compose the realities of what you are suppose to write. Sometimes when imagination doesn't help an extra perception and grasp with reality will do you a favor. A journey or travel around the world helps bring more adventure, twisted plots and seriousness of your writing spectacles. It is true that you can write more than hundred thousand words by borrowing other country's literature, borrowing their exotic words. Adding extra foreign language makes you different from the rest of those writers who only write to their own vernacular. Yeah just like me.

By being adventurous with borrowed vocabulary words from other countries helped blockbusters movie such as: Eat, LOve and Pray, Quantum of Solace, SkyFall, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Star Wars, Prometheus, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, etc.

What does it mean? English has limited vocabulary?

Truth is ENGLISH is the list of England's vocabulary and through colonization, exploration and expedition through hundred years, through centuries the language has expanded and the dictionary is now more than  five inches thick.

Oh no! I heard expletive cursing from somebody on TV. You should be ashamed of yourself. Those cursing is a barbarian's way of  opposing to what is written in the past. He is probably trying to be a highlander but he's always down! The Queen of England is laughing at his own bout with his primeval fear. He should be thrown to the lion's den. Ahahahaha.

Remembrance Day (November 11, 2012)

Supposedly it snowtime but our prayers are answered and the snow has turned into liquid. Cooler breeze though. It's better that way. Besides it's time to celebrate REMEMBRANCE DAY, the Day of the Veterans and a day to honor and commemorate those courageous veterans who died serving our country (ies), those veterans who are injured but still alive in this time and age, and the many military veterans who served and still serving as volunteers despite their old age, up to now. We also honor the brave soldiers who served not only during World War I and II but also those military enlisted men who served and worked for the Red Cross, those who fight the war in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.

We salute the courageous men and women who fought the great battle so that all of us can achieve peace, that there'll be no oppressors, nor there'll be war after all those wars and therefore tyranny should end. Great honors to those who triumphed over evil. Gracious and blessed for the gratitude of life bestowed upon us. We must all be thankful for them and we must always thank GOD for without Him there'll never be achievement and progress.

We will always remember. We wont ever forget.

Life begins because life is given to those who fight to survive.

Birthday Message

Orange flavor cake? It is yummy delicious. I wish my Mother is here with me so that we can share this absolutely delicious cakerie. I wish she's here so that she can see for herself what's life here in Canada, feel the cool weather, watch how life moves or how it comes and go slowly. Life is too slow in reality but life is too fast via the internet.

I wish she's here to meet the many Filipinos who are getting old and sickly because life here is now what they preferred in the long run because it's really different from what they had encountered in their own native land.Vibrant lively chat is what's missing here due to diversity. Diversity is a problem hard to correct.

I wish my Mother is here so that she can have her Bible study and readings and might eventually lead her to attend the Catholic mass instead.

I wish my Mother and Father are here with me but knowing life in the Philippines revolves around family get together no matter how the standard of living is, no matter how poor and rich are divided in their own meaningful ways still is the family is a core and the unit that makes the community as a whole.

When a family is broken by outside forces you bet it is hard to trust anybody after that. So the message is strengthen your family ties because it is the basic unit that makes all thing bearable. It is what unites us and therefore enough to topple any barrier or hindrance that comes your way.

A family that prays together, stays together. An old wise saying that includes GOD, the Lord God almighty in all our endeavours.

On this day, today and forever may the Lord God bless you and keep you away from harm and continued blessings as we always praise and thank you for thy gifts of wisdom.

LOVE is a prayer and this message brings you and me together, HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dearest MOTHER! Hope you have many birthdays to come.

Mother Nature Reacts

Last night's TV News are mix of so many mother nature unusual occurrence like no other such as the devastating earthquake in Guatemala, records 7.4 on richter scale which caused landslide as shown on television news network. Hours later, another earthquake struck off the coast of Vancouver island near Port Alice, record showed 6.3 mag. on richter scale. While in Edmonton area had traffic jam over heavy snowfall. 200 car crash accidents? Weird! Really?!

Hmm, what so shocking news nowadays. I didn't feel the tremor last night. It seems to me that the earthquake's wave is prevalent in Canada while the Prime Minister of Canada is away on his trade deals with India as he continued also to have sightseeing of India's famous mausoleum known as the Taj Mahal located in Agra. He's probably in Banglore now together with his wife. Famous people are awestruck with the beauty of Taj Mahal, who wont be? It's the most perfect archi ever built...after the Great Pyramid of Giza. Maybe the Mummy was buried in Taj Mahal instead not in the pyramid. I know sounds intriguing. Just stirring controversy over mystery. I should make a novel from that kind of inquiry.

Gorgeous weather here at the island. Clear blue sky. Lovely.

Time to continue my work at home and sewing. Ciao for now and have a great day people.

Stir Crazy! The Gods Must Be Crazy? I Don't Think So

IF it didn't work in 4 years why should you think it will work in another four years. The elephant, the sacred elephant knows the answer. The elephant has sixth sense.

The elephants had moved on. America is Africa and we cannot erase the fact that the elephants want another country of their own that they can live and progress.

Okay Philippines let us all be in Canada! lol. America is no longer America after Pres. Bush left 'ya know.

Stephen is in India. I hope they will ride the pachyderm. I don't want being bored for another four years. We'll have to add reality to our economy and politics. We cannot always tweet and blog and thought that's the economy of today. Tweeting and blogging is great if it pays. Are you being paid to tweet? That's what makes the difference in the poll. So are you all Americans now? Or Africans? Oh no! You're all Hawaiians in Chicago. Where's Adam now? Let's have him pose with Mr. Obama.  For another four years we have to determine his goal. Is he another madison? What is his next movie?

I watched the GAME CHANGE last night and CHERNOBYL DIARIES and ola two terrifying movies. Watching those two movies will make you realize that there are so many secrets out there that need emphasis, elaboration and answers. But who cares?

However, let HISTORY repeat itself as it always been in the past and in the future.

Let's move on forward to another boring years. Keep on buying memory cards, keep on tweeting and buy more cards for your cellphones. Billion tweets help the communication around the world. Who's getting richer and who's getting poorer?

GOD BLESS ALL OF US that the popular vote is not always the answer to all the troubles. Will the popular vote helps pay for all the debts? Let us pray. There, you'll need GOD to help Americans and all the people of the earth.

Merry GO Round

Is getting up, waking up a sign of aging? I can think of my parents who used to wake up at a very early time in the morning, as in 4 to five A.M. While other people will get up at 6 or 7 A.M. depends on what occupation they have. Yeah, I'm there aging gracefully and gratefully just like everyone else on planet earth. Nothing last forever! Nobody does. Even Cindy Crawford. Excuse me! Melon extract. She's just pretty and make up can do wonders to her face. There goes the story of the Melon Man.We all know that there is no such thing as Benjamin Button or Forever Young. They are all fantasy and fiction generated by genius authors of books and made into spectacular movies and directed by great directors with million dollar budget.

Three weeks of rain and some foggy scenes. Few hours of sunshine. What the hell this weather we had here in Canada? Oh know what? It's just like old times. AuTumn 'ya know. We need those showers every now and then so that the dams be filled with water supply for the time when we have to use them for reservoir and to generate snow. Think of a fridge and freezer altogether to make the whole earth fresh not barren and dry. 2012 is when nothing is sacred anymore because Science fills the void and Einstein made it happen that even though he is "autistic" he is a genius; he conquered time and space.

So the harmful idiotic weather has left us all suddenly when it was just so unruly lately. The last rude awakening of bad weather was yesterday when the wind howled and blew some twigs and branches down the highway. It tossed waves up and down the shore along South Island Highway. But my goodness, how many vehicles were parked on that side of the shore watching the waves roared furiously as it slammed its heavy water on the rocky side of the shore. Incredible mist out there too. Then a father and son put on their scuba diving suits without the oxygen tank, perhaps they will surf on the raging waves. Why not? That kind of high waves are potentially great for surfing and wave boarding. As you may know by now that foreigners would rather seek the all time high tidal waves along the coast of Hawaii and or wait for the great big storm in the island of Catanduanes to enjoy the grandiose waves. Yeah why not in Campbell River? During the storm, eh?! Shocking!?

Well, instead of sulk all day and night at your home and whine. Others have trouble whining and ranting they were the people who are diagnosed with SADs. What SAD is? Unhappiness? Too sad madam tussad? SAD is Seasonal Affective Disorder brought on by sudden seasonal changes. Depression. Individuals without close friends or any acquaintances to go and lead them or associate in times of need and distress. The unemployed have this kind of depression and sometimes can be categorized as melancholia if help is not attained nor no help whatsoever is given to that person.

Anyway let's make today a wonderful day of being with the Lord. The sun shines so bright and we must be thankful and happy. For we'll never know if the weather will be like that for the rest of the week. For the hobbyists autumn is the season of indoor quality fun games, sports that can make you active even without the necessity to get out of your comfort zone. Hobbies such as: sewing, embroidery, quilting, painting, cooking ethnic cuisines, scrapbooking, social networking, indoor gardening, thus if you have greenhouse that's okay. Play chess or scrabbles with your children. I know it would be hard for kids now to play the ordinary games such as those I mentioned. Because they would rather play these games and other computer games on facebook instead. Their companions are the computers, laptops and notebooks plus iPads whom they treasure much of their life, time and effort. How many parents are freaking mad about this technology? Millions?

We'll all wake up one day that although we are technologically modern yet the country that we are in belongs to somebody else already and that's one giant leap for mankind. One giant leaf for mankind and then cloverleaf happened. The cover was lifted off Yuri GAGArin becomes the hero and what's next? Gaga, radio gaga. Lady Gaga! California gold rush? Mckinley, Mackinze King, etc, etc, and the history of the world repeats itself.

Calamities, disaster, war and rumors of war, mass exodus,  your country becomes my country, my country becomes yours and the merry go round starts all over again. The south pole becomes the north pole. The west is the east and east becomes the west. Nakakapagod na.

Wide Awake

In order to be seen and be heard what will you do? That my dear folks I wont tell you but for the politicians to be seen and heard they will visit other countries. They will travel far and wide to the point of destination where trade is possible.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper went to India to meet India's leader and discuss about trade between two countries. The Prime Minister of Canada will also travel to Philippines and Hong Kong. It's about time that he needs to visit Philippines for he never been there or was he? It's all about the economy, trade and commercialization which is vital for his reign. Political? I don't think so. Canada is more on global peace and realization of a dream.

I was wide awake this morning at about 4:00 am then realized clock falls back one hour today so I went back to sleep only to wake up at 8 am. It's okay Sunday anyways. God bless you and peace to each and every one of you reading my blog. I know it's getting boring here without new news report or without anything that surprises you. Well, my blog is not jack in the box that once you open it will spring up a clown from the box.

Last night, my daughter and I watched the old movie of Ben Stiller's "Night at The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonians." Good, very interesting movie of all the many heroes and villains of history all put together in the museum in Washington DC. Ben Stiller had the task to find the password for the golden plaque rubrik style design for the rude and wicked pharaoh to decipher the temple's gate. In his role to save his friends he is bothered by the beautiful Amelia Earhart but later also helped him accomplished the tasks and saved all the heroes. Kids will truly enjoy the movie and all the mechanics and some of the hidden funny antics and misconception of their "roles" in world history. How good triumph over evil, wickedness and greed for power. But do you think the pharaoh is badly misrepresented? In the Holy Bible, pharaohs are good and kind and they are likened to God because of their power to dominate and his absolute power to rule his people. If he is such wicked its probably for the good of his own people. The building of the pyramid resonates with the prophecy of the coming great flood and in that period of time Egypt has no hill or mountain. It's the pyramid that helps them survive to the many floods brought on by the overflowing Nile river.

Well, you know movies and history there are good and bad people called heroes and villains. Without these two important characters the story is flat. It's likened to food without salt, pepper and other seasoning namely spices. There 'ya go the search for the highly acclaimed "spice" and the journey begins. The colonization never stop and it is still happening up to now. What have you got? Do you have something I can trade of? Hmm, I heard this familiar game play when my kids played pokemon and digimon cards trading with their friends. " Pikachu I choose you!" Or  Charizzard I choose you." Cha maybe.

Nothing really changed eh? And everyone's hands inside their pants' pocket as in being cocky! The same usual happenings from here to you. I went back to my cozy tiny  library and read USSR. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. Just like United States of America Russia has so many states. Continent is so big and wide and their land if subdivided = countries put together united for one common goal. Great but not so great because it's hard to manage millions of people all at once. That's why some countries would rather accept communism, socialism and other sort of religious cult to protect themselves from harm and invasion. Then there was the COLD WAR and famine, drought and scarcity of resources. I haven't watch "Chernobyl Diaries" yet. I should but maybe later. Or should I watch "Skyfall" first and Twilight's last movie to find out if the offspring of Bella and Edward becomes a vamp too?

Let us watch the continuation of "Amazing Race" instead. The cast of characters will race towards Turkey maybe in Istanbul. Is Turkey no longer ancient? Sophia, sophia. Wisdom is the knowledge you gain from discerning what is the truth and what lies ahead.

What's Really Great For Breakfast?

I have so many cravings for breakfast: I would like hot bagels with creamcheese and hot freshly brewed coffee. That I would say I'm already happy about it and will last until at 12 noon, meaning it will fill my stomach for good until lunch time. Or have fried rice with fried smoked salmon or any dried fish (tuyo) and fried sunshine eggs, scrambled eggs will make a better breakfast, by adding sliced onions and sliced tomatoes with century eggs? That's OK too.

But you know what? Having timbits is great! Unusual breakfast but good to the last bite.

Hey I first thought I'm on a diet. Yoga doesn't help. Fresh fruits are such a good choice when yoga and exercise wont lessen the cholesterol. Besides fresh fruits will relieve constipation you know. Old people, young people especially YOU should eat fruits every day. They are the most nutritious succulent healthy choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When you feel like I'm getting leafy on you try wonton soup with egg noodles, mushroom, veggies and shrimp. Delicious meal like this is good enough not only for breakfast.
My whole family cherished the love I have for them whenever I cooked their favorite food.

But lately, they are fed up. lol. My son cooks his own food. This morning he would rather have perogies.

I tried perogies before, years ago. It was frozen package of perogies bought from the store, cooked the perogies on boiling water according to its instruction stated on the package. Sample bits and pieces of perogies, minutes later  my head started spinning because I think it has something of an ingredient that is bad for my metabolism. I don't know what's the content or ingredient in it that I almost have a heart attack. Maybe I'm getting old and I need to be wary about the food I'm eating.

How To Be Happy In Our Generation?

We've done our part in the good society where we live:

1. House rent paid.
2. All bills paid: Hydro, gas, TV connection, internet connection, all utilities paid.
3. Paid the dentist.
4. Paid the mechanic.
5. All groceries, food supply paid.
6. Everything's paid.

How to help the economy in your country? BE A CONSUMER!

Buying and selling helps the economic condition of  your country. When the economy is good the whole society benefit from it all.

Getting tired of the whinies and rants all over the place? It's a natural feeling. Be happy that the rants are made through the internet not  great demonstrations and rally on the road which is very costly. Billions of dollars are lost every time there are demonstrations, that you have to remember every now and then.

However, daily computer activity is likened to facing the MRI Scanner. The radiation emits from all kinds of highspeed electronic gadgets so no matter how careful you are it's time to save money for your medical expenses once cancer strikes. So the good government will need to explain and give us more information on how to protect ourselves from harmful radiation...but you know what? It's too late! That's why what the government needs to do is to continue to provide us with the life giving support of HOPE to make us happy all the time. It's like giving us bar of  chocolate every time the pain is unbearable. This is the so called life in the fast lane.

Happy now?

To All The Saints (lol)

Before the day ends let me greet you with the sweetest Happy All Saints' Day! Don't worry the costume and props just for the (1) day of the celebration.

I woke up this morning at about past 7 am. Kind of late but it looks too early because it's foggy outside. Creepy! Yikkess.

Prepared meal for lunch: Hot wonton soup with bokchoy and leafy green spinach, just for me and my family had cheeseburger instead. I tried to eat less because I'm gaining so much weight and have problem breathing. Looking at the salal evergreen leaves help me cope up. Easy on the eyes. He he he! I should have coconut groves here inside my home. Anyway, had shrimps with coconut milk for supper and they had malaysian chicken wings and steamed rice. After lunch and after supper it's the end of work at the kitchen and it's time for me to blog. Just like you I want to accomplish some other important things first before I blog or rant to heart's desire.

The Avon lady arrived this afternoon and brought the Avon brochures. They are always advance with their ads whatever the occasion is. Dunno yet what to order. There are so much expenses lately.

Fewer batch of kids, teens and toddlers knocked and rung our door bell last night for the trick or treats. Left over candies, chocolates and chips. Great! I guess it's because the weather is real bad for the whole week not too many enjoyed this once a year celebration. It's the time of the year that you would rather cramp inside your room and pretend you are in camp with a campfire outside sort of sipping hot coco and eating marshmallows. It's the time of the year where you would rather just wear comfy pyjamas and sit beside the fireplace and watch favorite shows on TV or watch movies.

It's good to know that another blogger cope up with her depression. It's nice to see you smiling again and back to blogging stronger than ever. Goodluck Lora. Then somewhere in the blogworld waits for her big break through Penguins.com will she be fortunate enough to beat the system? Dunno. Will wait and see.

I'm here in Canada where we don't visit the cemetery unlike in the Philippines where millions of people go and visit their deceased loved ones at the cemetery or loyola park. I remember all the dead members of my family: my grandparents, my oldest sister Zenaida who died of polio and pneumonia, my best friend who died of leukemia, my cousin who died also of leukemia, my parents- in- law...may their good spirit continue to guide us and may they rest in peace in the hands of our Lord God. Amen.

For all of us, the living it's time to rejoice and be at peace and fill our hearts with gratitude. Thank the Lord our God for everyday gifts whether they are big or small in whatever size, shape or form.
