The Plant Kingdom
It's Friday night and I'm feeling right, oh what a night! ))) OMG! Thank God it's Friday! Probably Toronto didn't sleep last night because of the euphoria brought on by the first final battle between Toronto Raptors vs. Golden Gate Warriors. First of 7 basketball Championship game and Raptors won its first. Looks like the whole Canada cheers with them and other people from other countries. Great! As I said before it's long time coming and they deserve to win. I don't know why it takes many years to realize that.
Here we are again admiring the freshly manicured lawn which takes an hour of lawnmowing. Keeping the yard nice and pretty to look at and it's time to sprinkle water to keep the bermuda grass healthy.
More flowers bloom from the violet clematis.
More healthy blooms from the burgundy/red petunia.
Geraniums, heart-shaped fuschia petunia (hybrid) and dainty smaller pink petunia in a hanging planter.
The sunflowers are just growing slowly but surely, maybe need fertilizer. The tallest sunflower is now 20 inches in height. I'm getting impatient waiting for the outcome and see the huge sunflower head which boast about 14 inches (flower head) in diameter. Wow! Ants, slugs and maybe worms are the pests to get rid of. The loganberry probably been shocked upon replanting. At least not bothered by ants. Why ants like the sunflower leaves? Don't tell me sunflower leaves are sweet?
The young cabbages that were shocked from replanting are now growing happily and soon to have that round circular preparation to grow its heads.
Another petunia planter.
The violet clematis has its tendrils growing at least 4 inches per day. I can't wait for the tendrils to cross over the top of the fence. Or meet the pink clematis on the other side. However, the pink clematis hasn't climb yet to the strings provided for them. I watch their growth everyday since at the time of its pruning after winter time. The pink clematis plant was the first to grow its branches and leaves including the first to grow its buds and bloomed its flowers first. One flower first. The next flowers bloomed after 2 days. There is nothing happening with the violet clematis. After the pink clematis bloomed 12 flowers then suddenly about 52 buds came out like all at once from the violet clematis. It took a week before all those 52 clematis bloomed all at once. Then suddenly the pink clematis looked kind of sad after. I used to talk to my garden. OMG! It's like a chess game of attack. Yeah, even floral or plants have that natural sense of strategy. I was amazed of their style. Clematis species are very smart plants from the Plant Kingdom. I should have a book entitled THE PLANT KINGDOM written by E. Verna Turner.
I talked to my coconut palm tree too. I hope this tree survives. The palm tree survives in hot climate zone why not survive here. The weather is hot here too during summer.
Here we are again admiring the freshly manicured lawn which takes an hour of lawnmowing. Keeping the yard nice and pretty to look at and it's time to sprinkle water to keep the bermuda grass healthy.

Your Choice Maybe Not My Choice!
Some individuals have easy way out. Other had it for a long duration of time to master certain subjects, well because of certain issues that are complicated. The only way to pass is to choose easy subjects and choose subjects that you really like to learn. Do not push your limits. Everything has a boundary.
If you excel in Math pursue a career that will make you the top of your class. You want to be an Engineer, Physicist, Architect, Math teacher, Astronaut, Chemist, Businessman/woman, Accountant or other Math-related work you should excel in Mathematics. However, a warning that because you excel in Mathematics you should cheat. Accountants should therefore be cautious in their assessment. Why the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer? Unfair!? What could be the conflict? Why people who worked so hard get to pay tax? Why law-abiding citizens get to pay tax when they belong to the low-income bracket? Why the Government doesn't imposed tax and collect taxes on these group of millionaires and billionaires? Because of loopholes and percentage they received from those millions and billions of dollars? Let's be honest. Don't be so hard on incredible hardworking workers who are just living on paycheck to paycheck and those who are working on minimum wage. I think workers who are paid the minimum wage should not pay tax. Most of all there's no reason for pensioners or seniors to pay income tax because their medicines (health maintenance) are taking the toll on them already. The blood pressure medication is a monthly supply ($$$) that cripple them financially.
People who love Science are those individuals who wants to pursue a career in Biology, Botany, Earth science, Astronomy, Paleontology, Pathology, Chemistry, Zoology, Archaeology, Environmental Science, Medicine, Physics, Dentistry, Nursing, Medical Technology, anything pertaining to all living things and living entities and Autopsy for the dead.
While those human beings who excel in almost everything should take Economics because it offers a whole wide knowledge of everything from Mathematics, Statistics, Calculus, Social -Science & Technology, Government (Governance), Education, Business, Liberal Arts, Languages, Political Science, etc. If you think that Science is the never-ending and limitless of infinite know-how and why's? try Economics. All future would be > Presidents and Prime Ministers should take a mandatory special education regarding the study of Economics to better keep the country and its government afloat. Less politicking, more Economics.
The rising tide keeps all boats afloat. Mag A&W ka. The earth is tilted on its axis as it should be so that there are waterfalls. lol. Joke lang. You want to break even, you get the flood. Take the hot rod with you when you get the flat tire ... all the time. That's what it is for.
We had enough of flat tires! You had flat tires all the time? Best solution: replace all flat tires and buy new ones. Check! The world doesn't revolve and rotate on that one specific favorite or one specific choice of yours. The world doesn't revolve in just one name unless of course if he is God or he is the son of God. Nobody else could take their place or we'll go back to the crucifixion again and again.
Be happy with what you have. LOVE and HELP YOUR OWN CHILDREN they are the future. To love and cherish other kids? Are you that crazy?

I'm superbly happy and my husband was absolutely overjoyed when our eldest son Tyrel called to greet his Dad a "Happy Birthday!" That was last Sunday afternoon, my son was at work and can't join us for the celebration. At least he didn't forgot and found time to make that important call.
If only am the wealthiest woman in the world he doesn't need to work as a line cook. He is smart! He is intelligent. He can study without working his way to College. He is working and at the same time studying, dreaming to become an environmental scientist someday. I know he loves Science right from the start. I noticed and observed that when he was in Elementary and when he was in High School holding unto that "make believe guinea pig." (Don't know for sure if I want to post that photo here. That's one thing that you have to ask with Canadian people, you have to ask their permission first. It's not because I'm the mother and I have the right to post their pictures. Maybe when they are still young then maybe it's just okay. Courtesy always plays a part. Unlike with Asian people...nvm. lol. Some other entities or other races would be happy or happier when their names are mentioned and or being posted for bragging rights or for purposes that will land them in better light of days).
Anyway...
I first thought he would pursue a career in golfing because he started so young in golfing. He likes golfing at the age of 4. His Dad brought him to the golf course and golfed with him. Before he graduated from High School he was fortunately found a job at the local golf club and I thought that would be his vehicle. However, his role model Tiger Woods suddenly was involved in a scandal and that was it... he lose his ambition. I think he got upset and disappointed. I was disappointed that also happened. We have high expectation to think that role models (so many of these role models) will do that to young generations of millennials who looked up to for inspirations. Anyway, teachers are role models too. Maybe there are higher expectations and golfing as a sport is not the only options because there are many different options to take. Working and finishing a university degree is one of those options and the expectations to make, only time will tell.
I once asked my son to just have the ambition to become a teacher. Be a teacher. There is nothing wrong with being an educator. Educators are well respected and honored for their exemplary work in educating the younger generations and thus help propagate knowledge. He told me that the workplace for teachers are somewhat hostile and dangerous. Well, it's true as we are aware of that stormy situations that happened in the United States where radical students took matters into their hands and the schools become a hostile environment. It must change. Children around the world needs changes that will lead them to better understanding of a great education. Education as an enlightenment is a must see and that's how a certain race becomes the guiding force to eliminate racism and other obstacles to growth.
My son just happened to have liking for work and having more work experiences lead to better understanding of what knowledge should be distributed and how it should be shared and how to learn from those experiences. Why finish University education when you already have a job? You probably had asked that every time when you see these College dropouts who are millionaires and billionaires. Truth be told that having a valid certification set the trends and thus will help you attain higher goals in life. Certifications from university lead to better understanding that you persevere and you become a role model and inspiration in acquiring higher knowledge. It is the theoretical aspect to finding better employment and it's the company who will be pursuing your input into the workplace. You have more options and you get to choose better quality job when you are a graduate of college and university. It's you who will choose your salary and you can make other demands such as valuable benefits. You always have the choice.
It will be a choice not chance. I wish my dear son to choose whatever he likes. He is a young man, he is a good man who knows what he is doing. He can drive his own car, he is employed and if he is happy with his choices then so be it let him achieve what he dreamed of to success.

Hello Sunday!
Hey, it's Sunday today and the weather today is unbearably hot, 22C but the garden loves it. It is more like summer time temperature rather than spring. The 22 C rise up to 29 C in the afternoon. WTH! Yeah "what the hell!" We're being fried!
I did what I can do today such as gardening expansion (Part 2) of the floral bed right beside the wall of the house. It felt like the dahlias, sunflowers, daisies and one potato plant is being suffocated when it comes to space. The pineapple didn't survive. I first thought it would be a miracle if that tropical fruit will survive, but no...sorry. We're not in a tropical island for this pineapple to grow and thrive.
The two photos were from yesterday (Part 1) when I started the expansion of the garden.
Anyway, enough of those obstacles. What's for lunch?
Ingredients: Ground pork, chopped shrimps, shredded carrot, chopped celery, onions, thin slices of spring onions, chopped garlic, chopped cilantro, salt, ground pepper, add one egg and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. All these ingredients are the stuffings inside that wrapper. 1 1/2 tablespoon of stuffing per wrapper.
While having springrolls and enjoying its delicious flavor, better to watch news on TV:
So that's the morning news on Sunday. RAPTORS! RAPTORS! RAPTORS! Congrats Toronto Raptors! They really deserve to win and they WON.

In Celebration Of Mother's Day
OMG! As if the island is located in Hawaii and I get to enjoy the palm tree. Sure for the long summer heatwave, I will use it as an awesome shade and fan. lol. j/k
Wishing all the loving and caring Mothers around the world continue to love and cherish their children and may we all blessed as we accept the blessings from God above. Gratitude to my family and especially to my husband who gifted me with plants and flowers for my garden.

Homeward Bound
Now what is the best topic for today so that I can discuss it with you today. In previous tags and post, had it that computers' effect on our daily life (lives). In Canada and the US working on computers is much easier and convenience because it's within our reach and we don't need to travel to the public library and museums to do our research.
When I was in College, all my research works for thesis and feasibility studies were done through actual presence in the place of such "subject" for introspection, inquisition and actual eyeing or seeing is believing. Of course doing research through the national library which is located somewhere in Luneta and physical presence at the textile research institute or textile factory. I love textile and fabric of all kinds and thus, my choice of thesis had something to do with textiles.
Anyway, what life would be for the Millennials of today when it comes to research works other than being benefited through the help of computers and the typing/storing of data is much easier and convenient for them that they don't need to travel unless of course if what they had chosen for their subject need for them to travel around the world. True, a journey of a thousand miles lead to enormous and gigantic data for accumulation and the reward is far more greater than the outcome. However, the expense or expenditure amounting to thousands of dollars would be too much to bear.
You wished Ms. Elizabeth Warren would be there at your side to help you with elimination of all students debts. Great idea! Younger College/University students of today, the new generation of Millennials need the help more than ever. A stronger economy, a stronger future for our children need all the help that they can take so that when the right time comes its the older people who helped them will benefit from such give & take process. Gratitude always played the part in humanities. You can't live alone without anybody sharing what mankind and mother nature has to offer. I mean, human beings survive because we all shared the same kind of values that our own ancestors had shared before. Survival and life's skills are hands down from one person to another and that's why we are here alive to make a difference and similarities. No man is an island. We share the same common ground that life exists because of giving and sharing. However, when you have enough then it's time to stop.
It's time to stop when you cannot give anymore because you have a family of your own and your family is the first priority. Charity begins at HOME and Home ... where the love is.
Tell It To The Marines!
There are lots of drama out there and if we try to avoid their drama then that's a win-win solution. Other people's drama maybe just a made-up dramatic sequences for the games they used to play. You know... it's obvious!
A year ago, one of my friends at Facebook once told us, rather informed us that in the next few months, every Facebook users will be used in the "games" being played. For whatever games whoever that someone will use your account is not for us to stop or we can't control because we are part of Facebook. You are using a website that is founded and belongs to the owner of Facebook What?!
When I first read the message I first thought that's a lie. It was a hoax or something or one of those Ponzi schemes. Nobody like Ponzi schemes. That's a very deceptive dishonorable cheating or about fraudulence. But who are we to control such game of our names being used and how we can stop when we are just using their page site for free? (I didn't say Facebook is under Ponzi scheme, maybe those who are in fraud org. are using facebook making that social network suffer the bad reputation done by badassholes!
I think that's what it is when it's FREE.
You are not paying for the download and posting of photographs and that load can cause a space and the storage for Facebook. So, that's probably where the conflict is. FREE SPACE. FREE STORAGE for your hundreds to thousands of photos therefore they have the right to use your photos and posts for financial gains.
I know that's absurd and crazy.
How our photographs end up going where? How are the posts are being scrutinized and subjected to what? Experiments? Analysis? Employers looking for employees? Strangers looking for strangers? People looking for their long lost friends or relatives? Search for logistics? Survey and research? And for the likes of games and sports.
Before, Facebook use statistics on how many counts of likes you get from your friends. How many pokes and hits per day, but probably that's only for those who are being hit million times per day. And if you are hit that much million of hits per minute or second you probably be in need of organ donor. That's million tags per day and the accumulation of radiation in your body is enough for you to be in the ICU. Just thousand hits/day your computer is already a bygone machine, and totally shut down because of CRASH and you are in need of new computer with TB or more than 1,000 Giga Bytes. What's the effect of those bytes? Look at your face and count your tags. Is there any space left for few hundred thousand tags?
To have someone blurted out that they have million tags per day and their face is like a perfect porcelaine without blemish, without scar? That with those million hits and tags per day that human still can operate and use her or his computer? that's baloney! Tell it to the marines!

It's Another Manic Monday. Wish It Was Sunday!
for whatever reason that the weather heatwave is affecting most of us that patience is highly recommended. Maraming mainitin ang ulo. Cool down please. As if you don't know that in other countries where the temperature is soaring up so high, mercury rising and they can't do anything about it and they fired missiles after another. Missiles reaching the sky, reaching as far as those thick clouds that maybe those clouds once reached with the + and - effect will soon create thunder and lightning and thus shower them with blessings. Rainfall is all what they need in the driest part of the earth. That's how it's being done in the past for many years. Missiles are fired.
Cloud-seeding effect through many air crafts with experts pilots dropping those chemicals to provide the weather induced of their choice. Water from heaven.
Not enough? The dam is dry and the land is affected of drought. What else is needed? The burning shore? I don't know, too risky for that.
Every year is a never-ending magic of precipitation and global warming and how to control the weather. It's on and on, on and on.
You let the music play. Let somebody sing for the duration of time maybe that person could bring the blessing of the weather and cool down the planet. The power of magic and talisman. The science of weather astronomy and the expertise of scientists.
Look it's not that really hot as in hot as hell. It is warm and sunny but it's breezy. The cool breeze helps alleviate the scorching heat of the sun and that's fine for now. You probably have air conditioning unit and electric fans at your home. Visit the mall with air cons to avail of free cooling effect. (Ganyan ang gawain nung iba, very thrifty. Because being at home using air con is much costly, very expensive). Stay under the shade when you are frolicking at the river, lakes and beaches. Cover your face with sunblock lotion and wear hat. Protect your skin from cancer-causing effect of hot temperature. Use your computer with a fan and let the air swirling around your room or have an air con in your room when operating and working with computers. Yeah, computers are spoiled brats. Otherwise, just relax and watch TV.
$1 movie @ Optik "A Simple Favor" starring Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding. Better watch it before it expires tomorrow.
