Christmas Day 2023

 Expect the unexpected, NO MORE! I don't like surprises. It's almost like an ambush! Although it is what it is for some people still not too great for majority of the people involved especially those "organized people who valued privacy and respect for the occasion."

Anyway, past has just passed. It is just a matter of accepting that some surprises are just part of customary for ethnic people and paying homage or let say sign of respect for certain families and clan. 

If they want to celebrate Christmas Eve on the 24th let it be but Christmas is actually on the 25th of December. Hey, Christmas is being celebrated the Orthodox way which is later. You can never be too advance or too late to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus. 

My Sister and her family had a surprise visit last night. We're caught off guard!! Darn it! Thanks for the surprise visit. Thanks for the gifts!!

Sunday morning was my dialysis schedule which was supposed to be on Christmas Day but the hardworking nurses have to celebrate Christmas that our schedule was moved to Sunday instead. 

SOMETHING WEIRD HAPPENED THAT DAY! 

I hope it's not a social experiment or else... Because you know that is obvious sometimes that it's hard to differentiate one from the other.

That's right, my schedule to cook for the festive season is today on Christmas Day. My husband usually helps in the kitchen. He's the chef for roasting the turkey. Our 2023 butterball turkey is young and smaller in size than previous years because I don't really eat turkey. It would be just 4 of us here at home and my eldest son wont be coming home for the Holidays. He might try to come back home for the New Year. Whatever! He went on a holiday in Japan for 2 weeks and spent so much and now he's to work so hard. As usual.  I know that's the most common usual reason why some kids cannot come home for the holidays as in "too busy working hard for the money." Too many bills to pay, insurance,  and loans to pay or something wrong with their car or something wrong with the axle,  etc, etc. Or some kids are turning into being practical, responsible and frugal which is actually good. Nothing's wrong with being frugal. Some millionaires and billionaires were frugal that's why they passed their wealth down to their next of well deserving members of their families. Those who think they have "limitless" end up empty.

My husband is turning very frugal too since he retired from work. Having fixed income, the value of money is very important especially when the high cost of living is astronomical. WE should live in Saturn for the great spin. Not kidding you but not so many families can afford the standard of living in Canada. If you are working at present time, one job is not enough to support a family. You live here in Canada? You must have at least two jobs or 3 jobs to support your family. For the unhealthy, you can only have one job at the most or else you'll end up at the ER or Hospital. You wonder why too many sick people in Canada its because think of the harsh environment and the many obstacles that surround it. High pressured workplace is very common here. I know that for a fact as in too much evidence in those high pressured too much hypertension moments. Kaya nga high blood ako noh! As if you are working in "Hell Kitchen" all the time. Worst than that! Have you seen flying mayonnaise bottle hitting the kitchen wall.  The loud swearing and cursing and angry crazy workers aiming and scaring you with sharp knife?

OMG! It's Christmas what am I ranting about? LOL. Sorry to make your day not as bright as it would be. Just look at what's happening between Israel and Gaza. Even in the birthplace of the most Holy Jesus where Christmas celebration is cancelled because of the war. In solidarity, our Christmas is just very low key. We don't even have our Christmas tree this year. The real tree is too costly! I can't afford it. There are too many beautiful trees, perfect for Christmas trees along the sides of long highway from Jubilee Park to Parksville to Cumberland to Courtenay up to Nanaimo but it's illegal to cut those trees. You can buy a tree from the Christmas tree farms or buy at the supermarket. A new friend suggested to buy a fake tree or artificial tree on Boxing day. Hmm...

It's Christmas already. We can get by without it. Look at what's happening at the mall, as in they already stocking up the shelves with New Year stuff for the New Year festivity. Commercialism is real fast here.

Expect The Unexpected

 Until now the high inflation, the high cost of living is felt like earthquakes and succession of tremors all over the world. The pressure of buying and selling during the Holidays add up to the malady and to think that no matter how the conflict affects everyone still is some people are to celebrate as in being optimistic to whatever situation is. Great! Why not? Christmas Day happens only once a year. New Year's Day is once a year too except if you are Chinese you have to celebrate it twice. 

In search of Roger's sugar? I know sugar is hard to find in leading supermarkets and stores but that doesn't stop some people from baking holiday cookies when they can purchase cookies in supermarkets and bakeries. I can only think that those bakers would like to take matters into their hands of creating their own brand or signatures in those traditional cookies based from hand-me-down old recipes from their great grandmas or great aunts. Let them be for having such customary and traditional way of celebrating Christmas. As in mind your own business. If they want to have lavish dinner of festive roast butterball turkey bigger than their table... it's okay! Who cares?

You want to have a large chunk of roast ham with pineapple slices and sprinkles of raisins on top that's also much better if you don't like turkey. It's how we celebrate it that makes us happy is more important or what fond memories you are creating for your family. Every family tree has a sap, no family is perfect as in imperfections always a part of every occasion. You just cannot please everybody. Everyone has personality different from one another that complicate things in any given occasion. The promise of an enjoyable happy get together sometimes is more futile and to expect the unexpected is part of the anxiety every family has to think about. Pressure, too much tensions... what else to be worried about? The gift-giving of course! Who will be happy receiving their gifts and who will be unhappy and who will cry in disappointment upon receiving the gifts they will receive. OMG! The possibilities are endless.

Never, ever annoy or make fun of the host. Never ever, ever, complain about the foods. Just be thankful you are invited. Be grateful for the blessings. Never even start with a conversation about politics because some people cannot understand much of politics nor know what they know about and still want to be in control of the situation only if you allow that  being to be  right even if he's wrong. Politics is always the cause of disagreement in every lighthearted  situation then it becomes a heated debate turned into ugly war. Next thing you know you forgot that the Christmas tradition was actually been ruined and then regrets after regrets...

Long term care is beneficial for the long term care health providers and health care workers! That's the truth about it.

A conversation at the Operating Room:

Surgeon : Nurse who do you think is the most important person here at the OR?

Nurse     : You are Doc! You are the most important person here.

Surgeon:   NO. You are wrong! The most important person here at the OR is the patient. Without the patient, both of us wont be here and we wont have a job.

Can you just imagine if all the people on Earth are healthy, nobody gets sick and nobody dies? Who & What do you think will be affected?

Here are the list of establishments and workers who will vanish or disappear as in no need for them as part of the workplace for HEALTH CARE:

1. WHO or World Health Organization, Ministry or Department of Health and its workers

2. Hospitals & Clinics: Administrative staff, surgeons, anesthesiologists, doctors, resident physicians, nurses, physical therapists, laboratory med-techs, radiologists,X-Ray technologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, dentists, social workers, ambulance paramedics,  dietitians, kitchen staff, cooks, caregivers,  porters, janitorial services, maintenance services, electricians, security guards, etc.

3. Pharmaceutical Companies & Pharmacy: Scientists, laboratory technicians, drugstore pharmacists, clinicians, medical representatives, brand specialists, promo/salesmen/woman, etc.

4. Companies supplying demand for medical supply and medical equipment: inventors, technician, sales people

5. Publication or publishers of Medical journals and science research: Publishers, Scientists, researchers, writers, field workers, etc.

6. Health Care specialty stores/supermarket catering for special drugs and special herbal medicines

7. Long Term Care facility: Facilitators, doctors, nurses, caregivers, staff, cooks, etc

8. Distributors of health care specialty foods for seniors and people with disability

9. Insurance companies and their workers 

10. Medical, Science & Nursing Schools & University: Professors, Administrative Staff, Students, Janitorial Service & Maintenance Services

It's a very long list of workers in the Health Care System who will lose their jobs and their much needed income to support their own families and their livelihood! So it is a matter of setting priority of how important those patients are.

Of All Surprises: This Is For The Record

 This happened long time ago: It was mid-summer afternoon, hot and humid. I was too early for work at the restaurant, husband told me that his Mom and Dad asked him to attend a gathering somewhere near the beach. I told him why not, it was nothing sort of to do in that spare time aside that of work. So, we went to that venue, a cottage closer to the beach surrounded with large, giant sequoia trunks of trees with those old roots  attached to them. Hmm...what those hundred year olds doing there placed as if it's a collection of giant trunks of trees? Each trunk probably been more than 500 year olds based from those visible prominent rings. I should have asked more questions from my husband and should have brought my camera to have photographs of those cut giant trunks being there on the shore as if displayed there like in a gallery of majestic arts.

Anyway, we walked through the cottage and there we are welcomed by a very distinguished man dressed formally for the occasion. Suddenly, I felt cold. It was windy and cold, felt like shivering. My husband and I dressed in casual attire, it was hot summer day outside but cold inside where the gathering is being held. The mysterious gentleman offered his coat which I reluctantly resist. Mom (my mother-in-law) just standing near the main entrance told me to accept the coat. I respectfully obliged and wear the coat and said thank you to the man who offered it. How nice of him. Husband and I were ushered to our seats and there stayed until when refreshments are offered and before the function is about to start it was time to leave because I will be late for work. Husband took me to work. 

Many days, weeks and almost a month later, husband, me and my children had been invited for dinner at my parents in law. I noticed a brand new book placed on top of their center table at the living room and curiosity had me wanting to see it closer. (Me always curious whether Dad has new subscription of Discover magazines, Time magazine or any Science magazine). Front book cover it's the "prominent eyes of Mona Lisa" of the famous painting in Louvre and back cover "The Last Supper." Then to my surprise the author of that book was actually the mysterious man we met at the gatherings at the beach. OMG! I should have known better. I could have the chance and opportunity to ask for autograph but I didn't. Darn it! I didn't know that he was the famous author of bestselling books. It's too late chocolate!! lol.

Strive To Be Happy!

 I wish can blog more about myself and all the people I met in every walks of life and be able to write their own stories. Here's the problem though, don't know if they would like being blogged about and read all over the internet. I should have started an anonymous blog wherein everyone will be incognito or codified. I can do that, however it is not in my system talking about other people especially if they love their own privacy and because they are not celebrity that needs public output or public scrutiny. It's okay to blog about showbiz personalities simply they are public property and the more news about them help them with publicity thus help them with popularity unlike those people who I would like to include in my blogs whose stories are more interesting but have to worry about their well being and their privacy so better not. 

I have other stories to tell. It wont be that much of interest because it's not "gossipy" rather it's not for those who are after controversial issues or intrigues.

What about sports? My favorite hockey team won again! Yey!!🙋🙌💓 Right on!! Something to be happy about. 😄

You Can't Handle The Truth

 Is it better to communicate in English than in my native tongue which is in Tagalog? Hmm, actually when I first started my blog the communication or medium here is in pure English. It's hard for me to blog in Tagalog as in having difficulty in many words or terms to use in many of the subjects required for blogging and my readers are mostly "White people." Actually some of my readers thought I am not a Filipina. When they learned that I am a Filipina then suddenly the communication fizzled off. LOL. Which freak them out or rather they became very, very afraid. Ha ha! Right on beware! I know your language so much that you can't hide anymore. You wont be able to handle the truth. I AM THE TRUTH. I can't lie. Have problem lying. I know so many are liars out there! Liars, liars pants on fire!!! LOL. J/K

If walls have ears, what you've got?

TOTAL INFORMATION HIGHWAY? Not really! I tried not to dwell in so many aspects of what an AI is capable of. We would have problem if the AI is starting to mimic us or try to learn the ways of our presence here on the internet and our own personal existence would be copied and the rest of us would be cloned. They cloned Dolly many years ago. What you think had been cloned?

Are you still human if you are cloned? Seems funny right? It wont be funny anymore when one day your clones will replace you on your job and the workforce will be full of the many clones and drones. There will be no union, no strikes, no complaints. Nobody gets tired and nobody gets sick. Humans will be in a certain designated place living in harmony with other humans? Or they will be in a retirement homes being fed by the clones. Don't know really what's the plan by those people who invented the AI, the drones and clones. 

Maybe there will be another genius like EINSTEIN and there will be another group of people (human beings) capable of the existence of the Lazarus effect just like the television series LAZARUS PROJECT that can bring back those group of humans who died unexpectedly trying to stop the event that led to doomsday- end of the world.

TIME PERSON OF THE YEAR: TAYLOR SWIFT

 The most bankable concert queen Taylor Swift is the new TIME PERSON OF THE YEAR 2023! Well good for her. She's the latest, newest billionaire to top it all. Money makes the world go round and money can move mountains too.

She's a billionaire and making millions upon millions of dollars to billions of dollars with sold-out concert tickets and million dollars record breaking music thus making millions of payments in the form of taxes.Taxes! Great for the economy.

I hope she's great with paying income tax unlike those who are being sued for not paying their income taxes. Shakira was in the news recently for tax evasion and will face jail terms if she wont pay. In the news on TV and in the newspapers and internet news. 

For those who are jealous why they are not chosen as TIME PERSON OF THE YEAR? I don't know why.Why MAX VERSTAPPEN, Elon Musk was not chosen or Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg or some other billionaires out there. What are the requirements, qualifications and criteria in choosing who gets to be on the cover of that prestigious magazine? Who is the most popular person this year? Depends probably on millions of votes and surveys. The relevance and what that person has contributed to the economy, to any charitable organization, any loopholes, any goodwill or any contributions and beneficial works that person had done for mankind.  ?

AWARD GIVING BODIES too busy these Holidays in their nominations of favorites. From choosing the best of the best in CNN HEROES, NOBEL PEACE PRIZE Awardees, GOLDEN GLOBE's Nominations (Awardees) being nominated is already an honor for so many of them, and many award giving charitable organizations still looking forward for more...

Angels or Demons? Endless Possibility

 INTERNET is the place that when you post, write, or used a certain code link or interlink or to connect one after another. Somewhere, someone along the way something will link or interact with you in so many miraculous ways or somewhat angelic or devilish way.

Holiday Spirit Of Practicality

 Sure is, the difference in the heating of the house is gas vs. electricity. It is a lot warmer if the house is heated with gas or if you have a gas fireplace compared to the heating of the house with hydro or electricity. 

You don't know the difference? LOL. Live in a house with gas fireplace and electricity intensified house then you'll know the difference.

I know that's double billing. A gas fireplace is great during the long Winter months. However, when gas is the most expensive commodity nowadays you wont be happy about it. Electricity is not that cheap either.

Just last night, that man who works for the biggest supermarket in Canada informed on the surge of more costly household products and basic commodities nobody feels his sentiments. He is one of the highest paid he doesn't care whether there is high inflation.To boycott and make protest about the high cost of living when there are other ways on how not to patronize those supermarkets, thus making people learn to be smart and use the Food Bank for Free Food. That's what it is. Be practical. Use the Food Bank and lock your horns. lol. That's what smart people do as a retaliation to what those in the HigherUps are doing. There are millions of people looking forward to avail free foods at  Food Bank and million recipients now that's the only thing... what's left for you would be remnants. 

I haven't been to the Food Bank. Where is it located anyway? My family usually buys discounted products. There's nothing wrong with discount coupons and discounted products for as long as they are safe for consumption.

Learn the smart ways to be practical, doing the right thing as in boycott supermarkets who are known to sell overpriced products. Still, some people will pretend how rich they are and maximized their credit cards and spend lavishly and the next year worry about how poor and indebted they are. Yeah that "one day millionaire" always been the sole motto for billions of people.

Christmas? What is Christmas for? JESUS CHRIST the Son of GOD was born in the lowly manger. Was he that poor, in poverty? Adaptation? The Holy Family was surrounded by farm animals in a manger together with those kind shepherds who allowed Joseph and Mary to stay and witnessed the birth of the Saviour.

You wished the Saviour and redemption will be for real. Maybe wish for Santa Claus then.

Desiderata

 Everyday is a brand new day as in everyday is a new beginning. There are so many good stories and so many bad stories to write about. Here's the problem, I don't want to stir or create a conflict. Right now, would like peace of mind. However, it would be a different situation if I'm provoked. lol

For now, better to keep quiet. Give peace a chance!

It's better that way. Keep calm, stay safe and strive to be happy.

Don't like to change the weather. Let us all be on the safe side.

How Fake Are You?

 Sometimes, the most cleanest, sanitized, kindhearted  humans get sick most of the time. Not because they are clean and kind, almost angelic they get to stay on planet Earth for the rest of their lives. Nobody knows who God will take away first or who the last human on Earth to stay and propagate. All we know that there will be a time when you and I will pass away at certain time, nobody knows when. Not even doctor knows when unless they decide to end their lives as in they become an angel of death. What to do with angels of death? Do they need to be the first ones to die? Because they have NO CONSCIENCE they deserve to die first ahead of everybody. ONLY GOD DECIDES IF YOU DIE NOT SOMEBODY ELSE.

What about those in grave pain? Would you like to be in pain? How much pain you want?

The usual asking of pain. Are you Dr. House who is always in search for Vicodin? He will steal, he will lie to steal Vicodin." He's a doctor can't he afford Vicodin? What about those nurses who are stealing pain killers? They are paid good enough, why they have to steal painkillers? Tylenol's not good enough? Only your co-workers who obviously know what you are doing.

Who are always in pain? Do you know of people who are always in pain? OMG! Those pressure tactic!

Do you have arthritis? Rheumatism? Osteoporosis? Cancer? Headaches, migraines, toothaches?  Humans who are always in pain are friends of healthcare workers! Why? They are also in pain. They also need medication for their pains. Athletes are in pain most of the time and so as too many of the old people. Once I had arthritis at age 50. You know what I did to cure it? I kept on spanking my knees and legs until the pain goes away and what happened after that? Arthritis didn't come back again to bother me. I know some of you massage your arthritis pain on knees and the pain keeps coming back. That some of you decided to have knee surgery and the pain keeps coming most of the time and no amount of painkillers to relieve the pain. Sometimes it's like exorcism the cure for something devilish out there. Learn the Latin version of prayers to cast away demons. Magpalaspas ka. Burn the holy palm and let the smoke from the "palaspas" to fill the house with its scents. Baka maraming tikbalang at demonyo sa bahay nyo.

If you don't feel the pain, you are not "part of their circle." Wow! Whatever.

I CAN FEEL YOUR PAIN. But I don't need to feel the pressure tactic set upon you by  those who are in the higher ranks. Just because you are pressured, you are to pressure somebody else. It doesn't work that way.

Some people should stop lying, should start to be more caring and conscientious. Only few people or only few humans who are acting up as humanely as possible. I know life's so hard. Money is the source of all evil but also beneficial to pay those workers who think they are working for the common good. We cannot blame them if they have to suck up just to make money and pay for their mountains of bills. 

Those fakey humans so fake that its showing on their faces how fake they all are!

The Devil Conspiracy

 It takes tens, hundreds to thousands to more than hundred thousands to millions to have people's power.   Power to the people who are on strike, on public grievances due to high cost of living, high inflation and so much more that affect the normal flow of life.

Recently the people's power has something to do with the factions that air political disputes or people in general wanting to end war in Ukraine or end war or at least have a ceasefire in Gaza. Israelites airing grievances and wanting justice be done accordingly. Let the Jewish hostages be released as soon as possible. That's all what Israel's leader Benjamin Netanyahu and the people of Israel for Hamas to release their loved ones being held hostage and victims in Palestine. Is that too much to ask?

Using public hospital as Hamas headquarter and using all the hostages and innocent patients inside could be "staged." Who are the Hamas members inside that hospital? Infiltration is one of the darkest strategy done by the wicked, evil beings out there. Conspiracy of the devil! Have you seen the devil yet?

You know when group of people had enough. Enough of the suffering and the struggles. If you know or familiar with the Russian History: The Russians suffered so much under the Czar Romanov's reign. What happened is next to impossible and the whole Russian people revolted and massacred the whole royal Romanov's family and clan. The whole family and clan were murdered bludgeoned to death. Except that one member of the family escaped. Anastasia! Hmm, where is Anastasia?  Enough poverty, enough suffering and enough power play the whole people in Russia can no longer suffer the pain of hunger, ailments, homelessness and all the malady of poverty. That's what it is death to the cause of their pain and problems. Russians are known to have been victorious in dealing with the cause of all the pain of atrocities. READ HISTORY books.

In the news in Canada: There are 2 million Canadians  who are recipients of FOOD BANK. Hmm...why not? If their rent or mortgage is over $2,000   $2,500 to $3,000/month their monthly salary is not enough to pay their utilities. Have you seen those living on mansions whose fridges are empty? Utilities alone for those who live in mansion could cost $5,000/month because of heating during Fall and Winter. What's in their basements?

There's no powerful storms yet and power outages are being experienced in many towns and cities of BC. You have to be worried about it.

You Don't Believe Me?

 I'm not sure if I told you about this story:

A shoe store company always sends their promo on my email address. The promo ad is within interval of 5 hours per day. I have to delete those ads or promo from such company on regular basis. Then I saw something from their ad that impressed me and I went to that shoe store and find out for myself. I told my daughter that maybe I could find some nice pairs of shoes for her and me. We found two pairs, one pair of shoes for my daughter and a pump party shoes for me. Two good looking boys were at the till so we waited for our turn. The cashier/clerk asked the two boys the two (teens) if they want discount. The two teens obliged for what the cashier/clerk asked of them to give information: name, address, telephone number and email address. They gave the information to get the discounts, paid their pairs of shoes and left. Then our turn next. The cashier/clerk asked if want discount for the shoes I want to buy from their store. I said, "sure!" She asked my name, address and telephone number. I told her you know me already because I always buy shoes there and she already have those information. She doesn't believe me. I told her to check your computer and my name and address and phone number in their list of customers. She wants me to prove it, she wants me to show my cellphone. I said the promo ad was on my laptop. You want me to bring my laptop? I can tell you the code, told her. Their promo ad has code numbers. She seemed not believing what I'm saying. I told her,  "did I ask for discount?" It was you who asked me, relentlessly trying to persuade me to give information when you already have them. Told her it's okay I like those shoes even without discount. I bought the shoes and my daughter & I left the store.

Know what? After 3 weeks suddenly that shoe store closed and shut down!! Not only that, would you believe their company's branches in Canada and US closed down and shut down! Maybe too many complaints from customers. And you wonder why so many department stores closed and shut down?

Sometimes, it's just the worker or employees  you have to reprimand or terminate from their job if they are being such a bitch (sorry! bitch means MEAN as in being rude to customers) not that you have to shutdown your whole company.

 I couldn't believe that Tom Clancy's JACK RYAN tv series is only 4 Seasons! Why?

I know, so many of you also would like more seasons and more episodes!

 Maybe it depends on who are the executive producers who are more than willing to provide and produce as in based on how much is in their purse string.

The SEAL TEAM has returned in normal viewing channel. Never before scenes or episodes I haven't seen but knowing I had seen the last episode when the SEAL Spencer (Max Thieriot) died from gunshot wound, shot by a trigger happy security guard... I lost interest already. I cried when that happened. The cast of the SEAL TEAM cried...I cried with them.

Why Oh Why?

 WHY? I can always ask that proverbial question why and why again?

Why not? You know that under former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, this wont happen ever!

Why Canada is very generous to countries with ties to terrorist groups? They helped the Syrians, Afghans and at present time they want to provide financial aid to Palestine ,  no questions asked they also helped Ukraine with billions of dollars  in financial help. Nothing's wrong with their generosity! It is a noble deed, indeed.  

However...

This is what it is reality in Canada:

If you are FIRST NATIONS (or Indigenous), CANADIAN BORN CITIZENS, PERMANENT RESIDENTS, CHINESE or FILIPINOS WHO LOOKED LIKE CHINESE: You are the most scrutinized people in Canada. Racism played a part in Canada.

You need help from Canada or help from its Ministry?

Carding is much needed. You are being scrutinized from head to foot. RACISM? How and why?

You have to provide all these requirements:

1. NOA or Notice of Assessment: Information that you are Canadian taxpayers or you had file income tax return (It's not enough that you pay GST & PST) Carbon tax? You don't believe? Ask the info from the CRA!!!!!!

2. You must provide two months of bank statements from your bank. Ask info from the bank!!!!!!! You are to do your work MINISTRY!!!!!!!!

My husband and I worked for Realty Company before, my hubby worked as a Resident Manager for townhouses/apartments we did our checking too of those applicants for tenancy. If they presented their ID cards, they presented source of income, where they worked or retired we had to do checking by the references they submitted. If they are working and had written down the company where they worked, that has to be checked. We are not  having that hissy fit like we are after them relentlessly as in pursuit. If the applicant is sponsored by the Ministry then we have to call the Ministry. Why would someone asked for bank statements? We don't ask for applicants on bank statements or credit cards nor their SIN cards.

3. You must provide information from your investment company or where the other source of your income. Being a retired person is not enough explanation. They want to know your OAS, CPP and how much you are receiving. (Retired people received fixed income). Not enough explanation. Go find it yourself to ask the Government of Canada why CPP & OAS IS TOO SMALL FOR CANADIAN TAXPAYERS & CANADIAN BORN who worked so hard since after World War II.

ASK THE PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA WHY CPP & OAS IS TOO SMALL for Canadians to enjoy their retirement?  The retirement benefits in Philippines is getting higher compared to Canada. While those who didn't work and pay single cents in taxation process  here in Canada are receiving $1,000/month in benefit. Unfair right?

And you wonder why Alberta's Premier Hon. Danielle Smith wants out of CPP and wants to change Alberta's Health Care System.

4. You must provide two ID. Even them (workers for the Ministry) not able to represent themselves who they are because they are "masked."

5. You must provide information that you are a house owner or tenant by providing Shelter/Rental Information. You gave them the info still not able to believe. OMG! Why don't you interview the house-owner? Doing investigative report, you must do your own duty to ask or interview the owner of the house!!

It seems that the Non-Canadian residents are more valuable than the people who live here in Canada. It seems that the people outside of Canada are to be trusted than its own people because they are not Canadians? Weird right? Who are these people working in the Ministries? Is the government of Canada under "infiltration zone?" Then we have to call the CIA & PENTAGON to find that out.

Is Canada CANADA? Are the true Canadians not Canadians because the people behind those Canadian Ministries are  infiltrated?

First Episode of Tom Clancy's JACK RYAN

 With chaotic non stop war happening in some parts of the world it's beneficial to watch TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN. 

However, it is better to watch the very first episode before you watch the second, third and fourth episode. Why? It's because you'll find out how Jack Ryan became a CIA Analyst and work for his boss James Greer. At first Greer underestimate Jack Ryan! Jack Ryan looked kind of shy, timid ordinary employee in Greer's office until he discovered that Jack Ryan was actually a Doctor of Economics and a highly decorated soldier with dangerous past. Jack was a survivor of a helicopter crash in war torn country, trying to save and rescue war victims. However, a boy relentlessly asked to be included in rescue mission. Too late though. The boy turned out to be on suicide mission holding a grenade, pulled off the pin and the helicopter crashed and exploded, only Jack Ryan survived.

The highlights of this first episode:

1. First meeting with Kathy (Cathie) who is a medical specialist, born with the silver spoon in her mouth. She's attractive, charming and smart. Actually both, Jack Ryan and Kathy liked each other and relationship started to bloom despite of their busy career.

2. Jack Ryan's first focus of attention was the suspicious acquisition of wealth by a Muslim "sheikh" Suleiman. Suleiman's wife Hanin was also very suspicious about the secret dealings of his very secretive husband. Hanin planned to escape by asking her uncle to get her and her kids "passports" to go to safer place. Hanin and her kids were able to escape through many routes and too many ways but with the vast amount of gold in her hands and arms where else she is hiding all the precious jewelries she and her kids were able to live a good life in the USA.

3. When Suleiman found out that his wife and daughters were in America (USA), he managed to pull a trick to the Customs. With the vast amount of wealth in financial ability mostly cash he was able to access almost everything without problems. Suleiman even employed himself in the Security division and into the American workforce as "paramedic." They used dead people as bags for weapons of mass destruction.

What's The Difference?

 HEALTH CARE IS FREE IN CANADA most especially in BC. 

From having CARE  CARD TO BC CARD.

Actually the CARE CARD is not free during the early years. You have to pay for your MSP. Your employer can pay for your MSP or if you are employed and earning above the rate and you are not low income earners you can pay for your own Health Insurance/MSP/Care Card. However that changed under former BC Premier Horgan when he announced that all BC residents can avail of FREE HEALTH CARE (except Dental Care) and he was also been helped with his challenging battle with Cancer.

Meaning: THE CARE CARD IS PAID FOR, the MSP is PAID  by the holder of such card. 

The BC CARD IS FREE! But what's the deal with FREE? 

YOU GET TO BE THE FIRST RECIPIENTS OF NEWLY DISCOVERED VACCINES!! ??

That's why having CARE CARD still is accepted in most hospitals in Canada.

I've Got To Believe In Miracles

 OH MY GOD!! Looks like your fervent prayers were answered! Would you believe that my blood pressure went down from 170/     to 100/75? You know the feeling of being in an earthquake zone? That feeling kind of dizzy and tremors keep happening after.

Then the price of gas went down as low as $149.9 ($1.49/litre) that day in designated areas in BC.

The lowest ever after the pandemic. Before the pandemic the price of gas was $150 (1.50/litre).

Anyway, I am adjusting to having low BP nowadays.

There are "triggers" on how HIGH BP can lead you to oblivion and I tried to avoid those triggers.

There are times when those triggers keep approaching me as if sudden bolt of stressful reaction that can lead to as high as 200/90. I don't feel dizzy but that's not good for my heart.

By the way 💓🙏THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS! I know you are so stressed out too because of the humongous, dreadful high inflation, unaffordable housing and almost unaffordable cost of living. Nobody is immune about the high cost of living that even the richer, powerful and influential people cannot cope up and how those poor, low income people can afford? Tell me...

Your Fervent Prayers Much Needed

 Coincidence or what? The price of gas was lowered to $164.90/GAS in full tank!! Wow! How that happened? ONLY certain designated areas in BC.  When another gas station has lowered their gas to 159/full tank you know there is that competition. I myself couldn't believe the changing tides, the changing signs.

Hmm... The price of gas is somewhat similar to my Blood Pressure Reading. It can goes  up to 200+.

Now that my BP Reading is decreasing to as low as 124/78 or 148/82 the price of gas is being lowered at SUPER SAVE Gas Station. OMG!! Sort of miracle. 

Thank God!

When the price of gas gets lowered from its previous below $1.50/ litre you bet that the price of commodities will eventually go down and everybody can afford almost everything from housing to other most essential basic necessities.

So pray for more miracles!!🙏🙋🙏

Happy Halloween!!

 I don't really have time to celebrate Halloween. It's actually for young kids and those whose heart are for the fun it goes celebrating it. My kids are grown-ups already. Sure is it's great to be young at heart or be childish and why not be joyous about this once a year celebration.

We had so much fun many years ago and many fondest memories how Halloween is a part of my kids growing up because they got to wear costumes in schools. It's almost like mandatory in every schools in Canada to have fun and honor this spooky, fun-filled event to add more vibrant colors to their students social ability to get along with other kids. It is more like an inter-active to socialize with other kids with an intention to keep the students acquainted with their school friends. It is almost educational, beneficial to kids growth and keep their personality at its strength when it is most needed.

So have fun and be safe!

It Could Happen To You

 Maybe I wont question so many things that is of not my concern and thus bother if I am not watching those medical series: HOUSE Medical series, THE GOOD DOCTOR, The NURSES, The Italian TV Series DOC - NELLE TU MANI regarding doctors and their patients, 911 Emergency. You know the "highlight of the last episode of NELLE TU MANI? The estranged couple (Dr. Andreas and his ex-wife) "pulled a trick one more time." The TRICK was sort of to cut the red tape in order to procure the URGENT need for medical supply that could SAVE HUNDREDS TO THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. That trick is meant as MEDICAL MISSION.👌Is that good?

 If I have no knowledge of Medicines, no knowledge of Pharmaceutical products, maybe if I am not educated and thus assume that everything will be okay through the healing power of Great Provider out there that there is miracle about to happen, that maybe no question asked assurance that everything will be okay. But you know what? Knowledge is Power! You have the right to know.

I am not superhuman, I am not super woman, wonder woman or anybody with super powers. I am a human being blessed with ID, EGO & SUPEREGO. The promise of SUPEREGO having to be the JUDGE with "moral compass"  having extra access to sixth sense if there's any as in being not skeptic of the powers that be. The judge protects the ID & EGO from being destroyed, played and manipulated. Truly not a form of narcissism. Please study Psychology.

Sometimes the way I think or the manner I think had sent some negative energy to few people who don't really like me. You know that I can feel it. I know who are genuinely happy to see me. I know who stopped talking to me because of my medical condition as if for no apparent reason keep on being a snob like I don't exist. There's that one individual who happened to be in constant appearance every hour on the hour on Facebook showing all her photos and how I have to react with her photos suddenly stopped texting, videocam or just plainly stopped chatting me. Wow! Strange! Another individual in my friend list told me to offer everything to God. She's the one who thinks and feels that she is the Virgin Mary. ((Don't get me wrong here. I AM FOR THE ISRAELITES!! 💓🙏I wish the very beautiful Gal Gadot is a real WONDER WOMAN so that she could help Israel and the Jews from all the malady and chaotic war against their enemies)). 

 I'm not in anyway overtly making myself the drama queen in my own life. I don't deserve this suffering. Why I have to suffer like this? 

I know of so many people who are delighted to see me. They are remarkable people (almost like angels) providing me with the wit and humor, the kind of wisdom I need during this agony. It is an agony of defeat. Feels like it when I don't feel strong. When I am of my weakest point crying in pain and all the negative bad news I heard from other people. 

IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU. What I experienced or experiencing could happen to you. It's not a warning. It's just randomly someone or somebody out there is out to get you. It's like a domino effect. What to watch out for?  Make sure you are alert or aware that your "Health Team" is trying to save your life. Just like the Honourable RCMP they have the powers of PROTECT & SERVE & SAVE LIVES. In all these struggles I can just trust my inner circles, my family close families, close friends my Health Team, and whoever is praying for my recovery.

Return To My Blogging Ritual

 Once again, I was absent from blogging for a while because I was so sick throwing up all the foods I was having for meals and even the meds, tums and gravol have been vomitted. It was randomly throwing up for 3 days so on Monday night my husband had taken me to the local ER Hospital and waited almost 40-50 minutes for the doctor to arrive but before that the nurse made sure that I had 2 tablets of Sofran to melt under my tongue so that I wont have nausea. After 12 MN, the doctor came to check on me, asked information and then told me that the medtech have to do the bloodwork and cardiogram. The medtech took or poked needle on my vein to draw out blood samples for blood work and she also administered the cardiogram on my body especially on my chest. Then the nurse came again for me to have 2 tablets of Sofran for nausea until the doctor came at 2 AM and told me, "there's nothing wrong with your blood." "You can go home!" What?  THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR BLOOD! She told me again. I was surprised. She didn't mention about the cardiogram's result. So, maybe nothing's wrong too. So my husband and I are back home after past 2 AM. Went back to sleep.

Next day, I was feeling confused. If there's nothing wrong with my blood why I have to be at the dialysis unit of that another hospital? When I informed the nurse about it in the other hospital, he told me "you should have stayed in that hospital and didn't come here."

It's weird right? They asked me if I still can pee. I told the nurses that I can pee 6 to 7 x per day (within 24 hours). My urine is light yellow, NOT brown or red. It's a normal, regular urine. It 's not even smelly. My bowel movement is regular and normal. Oh, well something so weird right? Mystery, mystery!!!!!

Anyway, after my dialysis last Tuesday we went driving home on a very stormy highway, and to our surprise Qualicum Beach, Cranberry Junction, Comox Valley had its first snowfall. It's snowing!!!!!!! OMG! It was like a wonderful majestic scenery of Winter Wonderland when all the trees: cedar, douglas firs, maples and birch trees along the highway were covered with snow. Then next City Campbell River, no rain, no storm, no snow!! Where's the snow? Oh well, that's weird? 

I am in search of Santa Claus and Angels actually. lol

I Have To Deal With This Over & Over Again

 Finally I'm home! Oh my God!!!! My daughter was so excited to see me, hugged and embraced me, her eyes twinkling when she opened the door for us and said, "Mom))), Mom))), Mom!!!!!!!!!and my husband who picked me up at the hospital. I'm glad and overjoyed to be back home. Atlas! I can be with my loving family: husband and children and Echo the puppy. Even Echo (Eko) was so happy, wiggling her tail non-stop, hugging and licking my toes and legs and jumping frequently as much as possible then gets tired and almost  breathless from jumping. OMG! My son, one of the twins are already asleep. My son in Vancouver doesn't know and aware of my condition or it will emotionally devastate him so we are quiet about it.

I'm feeling good, however my doctors thought I'm not. Why not? Oh, I know my Blood Pressure is so high, as in above maximum. It can go higher than over 200/   or lower than 150/74. It varies day to day on medication. 

You know what I love about being in that hospital in NRGH? All the medical staff: doctors, nurses, interns, therapist, laboratory med-techs, porters, laundry and janitors, dietitian, cooks, food delivery service, porters...all of them are so kind, compassionate, dedicated to their jobs. They are so hardworking able to work for long hours from 7 AM to 7 PM until their reliever comes to relieve them for the next shift which is 7 PM to 7 AM. The patients get their medicines on time, always checking Vital Signs (Checking blood pressure, pulse,  body temperature, weight). They measure your fluids (liquids) intake including urine. They will check on you every hour even at night. They are likened to BIG HERO 6 -  Baymax. At the scale of 1-10 how much is your pain?

When it comes to food ration for patients. The menu or meals on tray are deliberately portioned and checked. Dietary measures are simply strictly followed. My food is little bit bland because of no salt (bawal ang salt) in but the preparation and presentation of the meals are almost restaurant/hotel style. Wow! Thank you! I like those roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.

What else needs to mention in my blog of memories? So many memories... I am overwhelmed and overloaded.

Okay ciao for now because some other people might tell me to shut up as in am I being over dramatic?

Not actually. If I am overly dramatic I will cry every hour and blame myself for having to come to this situation when I am not a smoker, not a drinker of alcohol and my urine is clear light yellow. I peed 7 X everyday filling up a gallon. My bowel movement is regular. Doctors said my kidney is small. MY KIDNEY IS SMALL. She ( the one who did the ultrasound) didn't say that my kidney is damaged. My blood pressure is high and has damaged my kidney according to another health care worker. WTH?????????????????????? That's the reason for dialysis. When I was released from the first hospital, Dr P. said that my condition is stable. It has stabilized and I just have to keep my BP in check to lower than at least 160/-   The reason why I have to be in the other hospital it's because the kidney specialist "wants to see me in person." I was taken by ambulance to the other hospital without loud siren because  my condition is ok, stable or has been stabilized. However, when I get to that hospital swarm of bees approached me! lol. Medical students and nurses (student-interns) were all over me wanting to poke their needles on my skin, on my arm. They found a "target." According to one of the health care workers said that I became the pin cushion! These medical students and interns (nurses on practice) used me as training ground for practice!! How to  poke needles on veins, how they are trained to administered catheter, how blood work is done and how IV saline solution is administered...  and so on forth until my hand and arms looked black and blue. I am not a sadist or pseudo-masochist (are they?)  but what was happening is like WTH is this? Who are they? That was such a torture!  If I am in a very serious condition I will be in the ICU and the only attending physicians are the specialists, RNs nobody else. No medical or practicing student nurses. Because know what? I am not a guinea pig! I know! I had an OJT in military hospital. Then another stranger asked me if I have money or cash? What? Why? Do I have assets? Then they usually scan the hospital CARE bracelet they put on my wrist.   Is she begging me for money? OMG! Looks like everyday was sort of a nightmare. I'm glad watching vampires, vampire academy, zombie movies and comedy movies had helped me deal with this bizarre condition. Hmm, they really like  BLOOD!

THEY ARE VERY THIRSTY! TOO THIRSTY FOR BLOOD!

They  always asked me if I feel any pain and I'm dizzy. To tell you the truth I don't feel any pain or dizzy. Then they let me be on my own. Darn it. Should I be in pain? Tell me do I have to scream that I am in pain to inform them that I AM A HUMAN BEING? I was numb from all the pain they caused me. I'm glad the nurse just told me that they made me looked like a "pin cushion" not "pinhead" of Hellraiser,

I know if I'm in DR. HOUSE Medical Series, I know how highly intelligent is Dr. House and his Diagnostic Team will figure it out for me. I'm not in his medical series so be it. I am not Dr. House and whoever is Dr. House in that hospital maybe he is badly in search for Vicodin. ha ha ha!

Just recently, news in the local newspaper of a nurse (RN) caught stealing painkillers (pain medication) in the hospital where she was working for years and years. Probably been caught by co-workers! Her license was revoked and was terminated. Another nurse was caught. She was a "fake nurse." She faked her way working in hospitals for over a year without  being caught!!!!!!! Until one day... OMG! How could that happened? The hospital staff, the nurses who worked with her, the doctors in that hospital didn't even knew until the fake nurse was caught. Wow! How that situation is possible? To find those kind of news? Seek pages of newspapers within BC area or find it in the internet if you are   interested to know their names. Know what? HOSPITALS SHOULD HAVE DETECTIVES. Employ Magnum P.I. Have a local FBI inside the Hospital. Hope that helps.

 

 

 

The Right Way

 Don't let me be misunderstood. Yeah feeling like autistic! Nobody understand human like me with autism. Always having the freedom what's in my mind without thinking what others can fully understand what I meant. Being autistic is being straight forward on the things that matters to us not matter to them not overtly feeling self-centered as we don't really feel that way. 

There are things, attitude and behaviour and just simple humor that is too weird for normal people to absorb. Yeah, dude, my sense of humor is somewhat too wacky! You only laugh at last when you have the same kind of humor just like me.

Autistic people are so weird, frank and they don't worry about the reaction or the stimuli of how you felt but we have feelings too. We are too sensitive. We are not trying to be stubborn it's just there must be justified reason to everything. That everything should have a balance of power, responsibility and everything should be tackled in fairness, just and righteous. 

How fair you are in a matter of dealing with the truth, certain tricky situation, and how honest you are in your chosen field of work? How you deal with the best solution that favors the righteous? How well, smart and responsible are you to bridge the gap?

A Lot Of Foods

Wow! That's weird! My blog post suddenly gone even if I saved it. What the h- just happened? I couldn't believe it myself. It''s more like the robot machine didn't like those words. It's not a foul language. It's just probably has something to do with combat.  lol Jokers!

Anyway, let us start again. 

Being a pharma medical representative to being a line cook here in Canada is surely a matter of perspective. Changing a career doesn't mean it is a demotion because there are many benefits to such changes. I know of a friend who was a doctor in Philippines turned fish gutters here in BC. The higher salary and benefits she is most proud of. It is an honorable job. It's hard work. Electrician turned janitor, textile industry specialist turned into store clerk/merchandiser/cashier. Caregivers turned into nurses.  Then here comes a CPA from Ayala who would rather be a nurse here in Canada and the rewards are greater. Higher pay-cheque, bigger opportunity. I worked there too in Ayala as an accounting clerk in a travel agency on OJT basis for short period of time. I hate staring at those numbers my vision suffers with millions of numbers. lol. Actually my job description is double checking those numbers are correct for income purposes. 

Look how wealthy MAKATI is the wealthiest city, highly competitive highly industrialized financial city in the Philippines. They have so many skyscrapers, shopping malls and arcades: SM Shoemart, Landmark, luxury hotels, famous restaurants and bars, famous shops such as Louis Vuitton Gucci, Benetton, LEVI'S, Cinderella, Fairmart, Via Venetto, Rusty Lopez where I bought my fabulous signature shoes made by Rusty, at first thought wondering why when people looked at my shoes with frightened disgust and whispered "Ahas!!!!!!" OMG! I didn't really know at first that the pair of shoes I bought was created with white snake skin leather! Oh my! I first thought it was a jacquard decor style of the shoes.

Being a cook makes me better cook at home too specializing on different cuisines:

FILIPINO FOODS:

Pancit, Lumpia (Eggrolls, Springrolls, Fresh lumpia), Adobo, Pork tamarind soup with veggies, Palabok, Pinakbet, Paksiw, Pinangat, Laing, Fried fish (panfried or steam fish of all kinds), Pork and or Beef stew Pork with banana heart, Beef or pork stir-fry, mussels soup, crabs with lots of  ginger, or crabs or any other sea-foods with coconut milk and a lot of foods with coconut milk in it. Depends on availability of ingredients.

WESTERN FOODS:

Roast turkey with stuffing and gravy, Roast chicken with stuffing and gravy, Hamburger & Fries, Deep fried halibut, Meatballs, Shepherd's pie, Salisbury beef steak, Chicken wraps, spare-ribs BBQ, BBQ steak beef and pork.

CHINESE FOODS:

Chowmein, eggrolls, springrolls, wonton soup, egg-fuyung, deep fried prawns, 3 hour soup, garlic boneless pork, deep fried chicken breasts, chopsuey, Chinese curry foods, fish with taosi, chicken teriyaki, siomai

SPANISH FOODS:

Afritada, Caldereta, Menudo, Embutido, Empanada

ITALIAN FOODS:

Spaghetti, Rotini, Fetuccini Alfredo (Seafoods), Linguini, No Egg Yolk Pasta with beef and veggies, Lasagna

JAPANESE

Sushi (Seafoods or the California rolls) 

What I haven't try yet are Mexican foods, Indian cuisines and Thai spicy foods. 

Maybe next time when I have more time to deal with it.

 

The Will To LIve Is A Universal Right

 I'm still in a state of shock of my health condition feeling like I'm in one of the episodes of DR. HOUSE and the GOOD DOCTOR. Don't you missed those 2 medical series on your TV? Hey, you know what? I am in need of the best Diagnostic Team ever because my life is at stake!

It's not that I am battling wits with highly intelligent humans who are specialist, doctors and nurses but because just like you I can relate with your task, duty and responsibility because my own parents are also health care workers. My father worked in the military as a soldier/medic for Red Cross garnered so much medals including the Royal Purple Cross and other medals of valor and bravery during tour of duty in Vietnam and his rescue missions during disaster, typhoons and earthquake being there as first respondent to bring relief of food, medical supply, medicines and all what is necessary to save lives. He was under the leadership of platoon leader Capt. De Villa who had been promoted Secretary of Defense for the government in later years. Blas Ople was my uncle who was the Minister of Labor during the Marcos regime. Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is my cousin's aunt. My dear Mother is a nursing attendant worked in the Army General Hospital together with my father and had done rural service for health care. Passion and courage towards  this chosen kind of work also has benefited me when I became a medical representative for United Laboratories. It was the largest pharma in the Philippines too generous for affordable medical products and had helped and donated medical supplies and medical equipment to many hospitals and clinics in the Philippines. 

Now what? Don't let me misunderstood. I am battling with my own life to live and survive and that's a universal human rights. Anybody trying to outsmart me or had chosen not my partner in my willingness to live should be reported to the Human Rights Commission under Geneva's Act and United Nations Human Rights Advocate. 

Sure thing, you the health care workers are my health care partners! Support me for my second term of life. I died before at a very young age! Don't let me die again. I am not Jesus Christ that will continue to live forever. I am just nobody but you as in just like you I WANT TO LIVE & SURVIVE. Is that hard to understand?

Dietary Practice

 I woke up feeling in the subconscious state of mind or dream state, one afternoon when suddenly a lovely woman in brown cardigan woke me up real good. First thought she was the beautiful Cathie in the Jack Ryan's Prime Video action series that my husband and I used to watch. She's a spitting image of Cathie. Guess what she's the dietitian of the hospital. She talked to me kindly and in friendly manner about the kind of diet required for my health. She even gave me a list of what to eat and what to avoid, a list of healthy diet required for my health condition. Wow! She's really that nice and doing her duty like its a responsibility. She just make sure that I follow what should be taken for foods and what foods are not to be consumed. Fair enough. To tell you the truth the foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner here are awesome! I can't complain. Thanks a lot!

My God! I didn't know that mango, avocado, and bananas are not good for my health. 

Three weeks ago, I lost my appetite and I was always craving for fruits. I was eating pineapple, watermelon, melon or cantaloupe, apples, grapes and bananas. Then my doctor in CR told me that bananas are high in potassium and I should not eat banana. Gee, I like bananas and the cooking banana with coconut milk. I ate so many yellow bananas last week. 

Today, I'm scheduled for my 5th HD. But they want to show the PD how it works. I am comfortable with the HD actually. The problem is the transpo. Home to hospital. NRH is way too far away from our home. My hubby has to drive 2 hours from home to NRH 2 hours to get back home while my autistic child waits for him. I would like to have my HD here at NRH however the distance to my home is simply way, way too far. I wish there's a Dialysis Center somewhere in CR closer to our home. 

I hope that I am not being misunderstood with my way of thinking and blogging. I know that there  are too many sensitive people on earth. I am very sensitive too. I can feel more ad perceive what you have in your mind. I am not numb of how you feel and what you are thinking. I studied Psychology and ESP is part of my very good sense. I know what's in your mind. Tele-kinesis power? Hmm...I am not Carrie. Not yet. LOL. Ha ha ha!😀

Note: One of the health care workers said that this hospital is almost like PGH because of the many Filipinos working here (nurses, therapist,in janitorial services, porters). Wow! The Ministry of Health had chosen Filipinos to work here in the Health Care Industry based on  their expertise, work experience and skills. Why not? The Filipinos are hard working people! However, Canadians the White Race are also doing their excellent job in providing health care and support no matter what race you belong.

Latest News About Me

 How could I ever still do this thing of blogging despite my health condition? Simply the reason and ANSWER TO THAT IS when your mental health is still strong and never been affected by other health woes, worries and uncertainty then you can still function normally using your brain to think, analyze, solve problems, and if you can still use your hands to operate computer then blogging is not really complicated. However there is that limit to what you can blog. The limit to what you can see, hear. listen to, describe or explain could be limited in the sense that you are stuck in a place of confinement such as in the hospital. It would only be the situation within your surrounding around that facility and all the rest of the  interactions within you from doctors to nurses and everyone within your surrounding would be the access to anything that you can write. 

Here's the good news...my dear loving husband brought my laptop and instead of staring at the ceiling then I can use it. I can get into Facebook and chat with my friends, sister, aunts, brothers,etc. I wish could be with my family  back to our home. This bring me so much joy not to feel so unhappy about my condition. At least, makes me stronger. Also the good thing is I don't feel any pain. The doctors, nurses keep on asking me if I feel any pain. So far I don't feel any pain at all. Thank God! It's just felt uncomfortable being poke with needles for the blood work so many hundred times and for IV and dialysis. Wow! It feels like pin cushion here!Opsi! Not from me, the pin cushion word > it was told by one of the health care workers when she saw the black and blue bruises on my hand. (Don't worry my skin heals itself back to normal) Oh, I'm not complaining just that my hand got black and blue and had marks of all the needles  used to draw blood since Sept 29, 2023. Well, getting used to it now. No pain no gain. lol. OMG! Why don't you use TIDE, SUNLIGHT & ARM & HAMMER?

Just maybe they thought I don't feel the pain and no pain at all so they keep poking my hands to draw blood. lol. Not that funny. I know there are doing their great job. The health care workers are doing such amazing responsibility of providing the great care they are supposed to do. I know medical procedures and protocol as when my mother worked in the military hospital as nursing attendant and my father who worked as medic for Red Cross and chief clerk in the Admission Office for the OIC in the same Army General Hospital. I also volunteered in that same hospital at a very young age at the Orthopedic ward doing minor duties helping high ranking military nurses and doctors. I was a medic in the CAT program during my HS Years. I worked in pharmaceutical company as a medical representative conducting free medical clinic at DRTS Department of  Health in Philippines.Well, that was long time ago.

 I know for sure medical terminology and medicines but my own health condition is something new and overwhelming.

For  now, have to relax and keep my mind busy on some other things to keep me busy and not think negatively. I met my new kidney specialist with her therapy dog Atlas. To be thankful for all the blessings that come my way. The kindness and compassion of all the health care workers (hundreds of them, wishing I could post all their names here but I'm not sure whether they would like being read through blogs (I would inquire on that later) are providing is an assurance that I will soon return to my normal life. I wished. I hope🙏🙌💓Thanks everybody you are all God servants in providing so much care, attention, and being natural in your chosen field of work. The work of health care workers are the most remarkable honorable way of serving people in need of health support. They are like soldiers in a different field. They are the new heroes and hope they also receive medals for their gallant bravery, valor and kindness, compassion towards their patients. That was it ...not always for the money. They are of service to help cure the sick, treat the wounded, restore the patient's self-esteem, bring back them to recovery and make sure that they receive the best health care ever under their watch.

Beautiful Autumn

 SEASON OF FALL. IT's lovely Autumn and the foliage of the trees are so beautiful stunning!

 

Autumn is the most spectacular season of all because of the lovely beautiful colors of foliage: warm yellow, yellow orange, orange, red, maroon... crimson tide

I wish could be outside and have them for my photography and videotaping.

I wish could do all the things that keep me busy just as in before nature hunting, glorious and bounty.

Anyway, without much further a do let us just mesmerize and just be happy about the works of other people when it comes to nature tripping, artistry through their photography and video. Thanks!

 I wish it's already WINTER! We need fresh air in BC. The only solution to deliberately change the weather, the atmospheric hazy and toxic fumes to vanish... early winter should be the next best thing.

True Story Vs Fiction

 Heatwave after heatwave ))))))) Don't really know when will it ends. Wildfires and more uncontrollable wildfires!!!!!!! Too much wildfires and mercury rising ... is that part of the third thermodynamics going on around the world as in renewal for global climate action plan? I couldn't help ask such stupid question. Or is not really a stupid question rather out of curiosity.

You should be very inquisitive, more curious than you'll never ever before simply because we are in the year 2023. Whatever happened in 1923? After every hundred years? 

You know that famous movie KNOWING starring Nicholas Cage... 

With all the news on TV shown and featured right before our eyes as if the movie is being played again and again.

Wonder why catastrophic and devastation is happening and the question is whether they are real or just part science fiction. Whether they are made, created in the production for a movie or it was a real true story. What could be the truth?

Turning The Tide

 The weather temperature has dramatically changed in over 24 hours which is super duper great!Glorious Autumn here we come as early as possible? Good riddance. I like a better crispy freshness of autumnal season... the harvest season.

However, noticed that Eko is feeling zoommies and clingy today wonder why. The change of weather temperature from hot to not really cold makes her whiny.  It was a week ago when she had her visit at the vet. Bill amounting to $357.00 for that special dog visit/medical check-up. Veterinary medicine is really the best option for would be doctors eh? Vaccine  and oral pill for Eko to take for the price of $357. I think that's to make sure that Eko is healthy and having the best care ever. So more dog treats for Eko. Wow! She had the best time of her dog's life with her master and yayas who are willing to babysit her. Truth is she is more than a dog. She is a service/therapy dog. I hope she stays sweet, loving and adorable cute puppy for ever. 

Robots Are Better?

 I haven't purchased the platform sandals I like at Joe Fresh simply because of its false advertisement. At the time when it was advertised no supply is available in the local department stores nor the clerk even know about what type or what kind of sandals in the ad and that also was the problem as in clerks don't know what item is being advertised on their own company. Wow! That is so weird. That's how busy some people are. LOL. They don't know what goes around, comes around.

Anyway, I have other pair of shoes and many pairs of sandals and slippers.

 

Actually, I haven't wear so many of those pair of shoes because where to go and show off good shoes?

Where to go and walk like in a fashion ramp?

In Canada?

Canada is way behind fashion bliss. Canada is mountainous and being from a mountain or if you are that "promdi" you wont go wrong here. No. That's not an insult. It's a way of life. 

You can wear anything here on whatever colors, style or trend style of clothing as it depends on four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn. It is still Summer season and it's very hot and humid because of uncontrollable wildfires in the interior of BC as in Planet Of The Apes are in production. Yup, Canada is a FIRE COUNTRY and what else could change that?

We have a neighbor who happened to have problem with personal banking, asked help from her dad to take her to the bank to transfer cheques from savings to chequing. Clerk told them to do it online. ONLINE BANKING. They were only at the bank with the bank clerk to do the process with them. Person to person.  Nope. They have to do it ONLINE. Wtf! Really? What is the bank for doing in Canada? What are those bank clerks are doing? Totally weird right? Are the bank clerks not allowed to use their computer or machines to do the work at the bank and have the process done inside the bank? Are the robots through ONLINE BANKING smarter , efficient, effective and more trusted? You mean we have to trust online banking than personal banking now? Not all humans have computers, you know. Computers are getting costly EXPENSIVE!!!!!! Printers are expensive! Printing and ink are too costly for ordinary human being. It's not always that there's electricity.

Now, get this... even the purchase of goods and services are being done online and that's the reason why AMAZON had better business transaction its maybe because of robotic features lacking with ordinary humans. Humans whom you see in department stores, banks and government services and agencies don't really have the brain to do the task not even the multi-tasking required of them and termination of their jobs are imminent.  Hmmm... LET US FIND THAT OUT.

 

Live & Survive

 Wildfires. What to do about it? How many wildfires are too much?

This morning news, about 379 uncontrollable wildfires in Canada. What the hell is going on? Is that really lightning strike the cause of all wildfires? How about ghost fires? and kaingin system? Clearing the forest for human development or coal accumulation? What could be?

Hard to tell whether those wildfires are actually man-made, human errors or wildfires are just the term coined to certain epidemic. Hmm, what could be? 

You can see with your eyes, there are fires and there are smoke. It's crazy hot. The heatwave is suffocating the British Columbia regions and other parts of Canada, within the ring of fire, along the cordillera. To think that parts of USA also experiencing sudden heatwave above 40 Celsius, they are being baked.

I don't know why they cannot provide the cloud-seeding or artificial rain. The problem with that is the jet stream and the winds could blow the clouds in other parts of the world and the regions that need the rainfall don't get it. Unfair? Yup. Always unfair so expect the unexpected. 

One day you'll just laugh at all these uncertainties and inconveniences. 

LIVE while you still can and survive.

The Rat Race

 It's hard to believe news about lightning strikes happened in one or two particular areas in Canada and how often it would be is unusual or just plain coincidences? How many times positive and negative charges happened in a lifetime? OMG! So weird already.

If there are lightning strikes the promise of rainfall is the next best thing but the result are wildfires.

Hmm... war  is different in our time as it has something to do with climate change, mental and physical fatigue. Challenging. Changeling.

The war is about race. Is it a game? 

IT IS ACTUALLY ABOUT RACE.

40 MILLION Population: CANADA

 CANADA the nation, the country has reached population of 40 MILLION people! Wow! Are they all Canadian residents or Canadian citizens or they also include Canadians outside of their country?

Just asking. Simply because there are Canadians who also worked or working outside of Canada, abroad in other countries in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and maybe in Mexico, Australia and in the Caribbean. There are too many Canadians in other countries MIA and studying in other countries. There are too many FIRST NATIONS in Philippines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How that happened? Hmmm...

I remember way back in my College Years: I used to wear exotic clothes, wearing gamoza-Indian shoes. Curiosity by those who were members of the Band, asking me if "are you with us?"  Oh well, do I looked like Apache? Not with my "small nose though!" lol. Ha ha! They thought I'm First Nation. That made me think how many indigenous in Philippines? Now here in Canada, my son was similarly been chosen to be in The Band. His teacher once told him that he belong to FIRST NATION. Wow! Really? I've been questioning my Ancestry. lol. So please do not burn the 1900 CENSUS. Note: News about burning 1900 Census in Canada had been broadcasted before the Millennium on TV. My sister-in-law studying Genealogy helped stop that crazy movement. 

JUS SOLI & JUS SANGUINI. If Filipinos are originally FIRST NATIONS then Canadians are more than 40 MILLIONS!!!!

Forty millions of inhabitants in a huge country Canada where millions of people have problem with housing. Actually not my problem. It is a problem by politicians who usually have debate on the same old cliche' at the Parliament on how they can provide better housing, better employment and how they can uplift the standard of living.

After the pandemic, suddenly the rise of the population as if the pandemic is actually an influx of immigrants. Not my problem. Maybe Canada is actually in need of the "manpower" for the natural resources that are bounty in this country. lol. OMG! With all the wildfires here and there and the evacuation? It is so weird right? It is a mystery. I like the air of mystery of  40 MILLION PEOPLE and where and who are they. The last census happened when? Hmm... 3 years ago? The questionnaires were actually out of this world. It seems like a survey made by researchers doing survey on genetics and what are they thinking being manipulative as if who they are doing census with are ignoramus? J/K. It was against code of ethics actually and would be against Human rights violation however knowing Canadians who are very obedient, law abiding citizens always following whoever their leader despite of consequences that violate human rights... tsk! tsk! Oh I know Canadians are known for being polite and always being sorry for themselves even if they are not guilty. Strange!

SORRY...sorry...sorry. Canada you are not always guilty! Do not accuse yourself all the time of any wrongdoing. You are not the cause of the war in Ukraine. Canada you are not NAZI. Canada you are not a Fascist government. Canada you are not the cause of war during World War II. Canada and Canadians you are not all drag queens and queer so STOP BEING SORRY. It's not your fault. No earthquake could shake your ground. Always off the coast.

Something New

 

We run out of Van Houtte coffee. Three boxes of Van Houtte in keurig cups for two months! OMG!

Well, better try a brand new coffee and we tried NESCAFE GOLD. 

Nescafe is great! At least something new for my taste buds.

WOPR = WAR OPERATIONS PLAN RESPONSE

 

You wished everything is just a scene from the movie. You wished it is just a WAR GAME!

I first thought I am totally done with WOPR when I graduated from FEU. However that WARGAME followed me everywhere I go. I opted the CHESS game using FEU as my Chess board. It was my not my first virtual reality chess game. But my Alma Mater was the perfect chess board. Too many thousands of them had competed with me through "virtual reality." Wow! I just couldn't believe that they also possessed the AI ability. How that happened? Nobody knows what's inside my mind. It was a SECRET OPERATION. It was a secret mission.

Are You Toxic?

 No end in sight to winterstorm? Know why? Who holds the key right now? 

California is one of the hottest state in the US and yet suddenly the state was in chaos because of the snowstorm that affected them recently/ Wow! First thought it was one of the sequels in Geostorm movie.

How climate changes abruptly and why humans cannot control such event? 

Remember the Earth is a huge, humongous, giant  volcanic rock in space. It is the giant atom. All its electrons, neutrons, proton and overall elements in its composition can mix with the ill-effects of the by product of humanities. It's like a negative (-) (+) positive result of all the madness and when mixed with certain elements can cause antimatter to expand, explode or what could be happening that is beyond your imagination? The war in different parts of the world sometimes contributed to all that is crazy within our world. War can cause contamination of land, water, food supply, the air we breathe. Are you part of that bigger problem trying to poison us with toxic materials?

Those geniuses sometimes are evil. They don't really care about what will happen when there's war. They thought war is just ethnic cleansing. WAR is pure evil. All those explosions are toxic. You get poisoned and if if you were able to escape and abandoned such place of conflict you are liable for any contamination in another country. You think that's what is all about. You are spreading to commit the unspeakable. Think again. Think again that nobody becomes refugees twice in a life time. The Vietnamese didn't allow themselves to be used again and again. How about the Ukrainians? Chernobyl not enough? The atomic bomb that hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan still linger with toxic, nuclear air that can cause cancer. The Fukushima had its ill-effects too causing cancer! If you allow them to use you for personal gain and opportunity for election process, maybe its time to send messages to the PENTAGON. Be brave!

WAR is never been an option. Nobody is as humanitarian as anybody else when you are part of the war effort and the process of continuous bombardment of any living entity or any place in the world.  All those smokes, all those wildfires and elemental process that goes with the air is a continuous toxic poisonous gas. When carbon emission is more than its limit compared with oxygen what could be the deep impact?

You can be a war hero for quite sometime but when the PENTAGON get into the specifics, you might end up from being hero to zero. How could that happened? Remember the war in Vietnam? American soldiers were tried as war criminals despite of their heroism. So... you'd better give the world the PEACE it deserves once and for all. Breathing toxic fumes, toxic gases and toxic water and toxic food supply is not how the world will end.

Think about all the damage control and financial burden that's causing each country and each leader to troubleshoot. I don't know why me of all people is concerned about this. Maybe because I am for the GOOD of humanity, I am righteous but I am not saintly. Sorry, I'm not a saint. Maybe Trudeau is a SAINT? That Harper is stingy? That a $40,000 owed from Mr. Right cannot be repaid and that fat guy has to pay for what he owed. Maybe because he is a human being and he is not a drug cartel and not a cannabis operator?

I asked myself why there's that Holy Pope, the Dalai Lama they are the saintly humans who are supposed to help the needy, the poor, the sick and those who are in dire need of the moral compass and yet those politicians are in the news accepting millions of refugees, illegal immigrants...feeding, clothe them, give them place to live and serve these refugees of its country's own  problems and conflict. Is it because these politicians from Canada are better or saintly? Or they are doing such humane ways to atone for their extreme grave sins we are not aware of? Too be good to be true. You have to be suspicious.

I'm sorry that I have to tell you this story of unspeakable truth. As a human being you have the right question anything that doesn't make sense. It's not my business? It's the business of every Canadian or living entity to feel safe and secured in a country where there is democracy. When that democracy had been tarnished and stained by cannabis production where is the safest place on earth?

Nothing is safe. Nobody is safe. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF.🙏

Weather Balloon Update

 UPDATE ON WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WEATHER BALLOON: It's because the Chinese weather balloon looks like a spy balloon and hovering on the airspace that belongs to the US, and posses some kind of hazard according to the news, an order from US Pres. Biden was delivered and the US Air Force shot the balloon down to the ocean. 

A comedy spoof of the nature of the weather balloon was shown on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. It was funny though. So true that Alexa is more than scary than the weather balloon. Or Cortesa and all those space junks from dead satellites floating in outer space. Don't know when will Earth turns into Saturn.

However, the event that the downing of allegedly China's spy balloon or weather balloon gives you a lesson on why is dangerous or risky to fly any aircraft, planes during at the time of snowstorm, blizzards and polar vortex.
