The great thing about quilting is in this community of only few seniors indulge in quilt making and for me to join them might lead them not to join. They might think disturbing their own "quiet time." Ya you know I'm all that into curiosity when I ask a lot of question. I'm like a curious child asking too much questions. Well not those stupid questions I'm not stupid he he he! I am always politically correct and they don't want me to question them leading them to troubles.
That's why I concentrate on doing my own sewing at home. Just me! Alone by myself working on my project that goes on and on trying to keep me busy all the time. I'm on my double quarter life. My uranium plutonic power is at stake. OMG! Okay don't let it alarm you. It's just a mere expression. Nothing serious. My mild use of expression is sometimes out of this world not because I watch too much "Big Bang Theory" or I read Newton and Einstein's books. I am not trying to be bookies. I am just mentally and psychologically alert of my environment. I wonder what the Minister of Environment doing nowadays? See that kind of intriguing question. My inquiry always lead me to change the weather. Ooppss...not me changing the weather. It just happened. Ask GOD about it not me.
So my continuation of my sewing project minding my own business. Measure to be sure. Fit in to the skirt, shorts, dress...later shop for more fabric. Going to the one and only fabric store is such a pain. I frequently go there and every time they asked if I am a member. I was a member last year and the card expired. Membership is only good for one year. Twenty dollars membership good for one year only. Too many discounted fabric for perusal. Lots to choose from actually. Problem over there is looks like sales clerks cannot remember names and face of their customers. I am a good customer. I don't know what's wrong. Can't blame them if they always ask. Maybe that's a strict compliance to the nature of their business. I like their fabric even if they are expensive so I decided to be a member again. Just for the "fabric." The textile. That's the only thing I missed in the Philippines, you can haggle with almost everything until the clerks and vendors can lower the price of commodities (with few exceptions). One thing that I have to advise the sales clerk of this community to BE GOOD WITH YOUR CUSTOMER. Customer and consumers are the buyers of goods and services. Without them your business is nothing.
Here is a picture of the pants that sewn the other day. Oh my I look like a surgeon. lol I also finished two head cap or bonnets made of knitted fabric material with bow at the back.
- Just timely to the point of my sewing project and the vest that I'm wearing coincide with my next plot for my story-writing project. Yes it's always called PROJECT. My idea.
