It was the celebration of Rosh Hashannah (literally "Head of the Year") yesterday, September 29, 2019 which is the Jewish New Year. It's the day of blasting and shouting.

Wow! The Jews celebrate their New Year ahead of everyone. That's wonderful. While we Christians and Catholics  have to celebrate many holidays and festivities first before the New Year such as: Thanksgiving day, Anniversaries, Feast of the many saints, and of course Christmas which is the birthday

 of Jesus Christ, the Saviour for Mankind.

 Today, Monday - September 30, 2019 in a different calendar also celebrates ROSH HASHANNAH.

Okay, that's weird. Which one should they follow? The Sunday event or Monday?

Evil Amongst Us

There are caselots sale at Overwaitea. I don't know what my husband is waiting for, why he's not buying those caselots. I'm craving for muffins and cupcakes. Their bags of flour and bags of sugar are on sale. I have to bake something sweet.

Barbecue (bbq) is farthest from my mind right now after watching that new television series EVIL. You know the story of demonic possessions? So the story goes like this: Kristen Bouchard is a forensic psychologist whose assignment had taken her to prison to investigate on one of the prisoners accused of multiple murders. Her job is to know the prisoner through series of psychological test. There is really nothing sort of strange about the killer and rapist whose hands are tied by chains on the table. She asked questions that are normally asked. However questions were asked differently and with intensity after Kristen met the paranormal investigator Acosta summoned by the Catholic Church (turned out to be a priest according to Townsend), the intensity of Kristen's bout with the psychopath almost lose her life when the accused jumped on the table and trapped her, not letting her go only when the prison guards arrived and rescued her. Her hands got bruises when he was grabbed by the accused. Her own 4 younger daughters noticed the bruises on her hand. To cut the story short, something weird happened that night. She had a dream, well sort of a nightmare when a very strange being came at her bedroom. A personification of a demon? I don't know what a demon looks like. It was the form of human being but dark and ugly and scary. Horrible. It was terrifying to see such entity. I almost screamed and then I laughed... it could be an alien. So we keep on watching until it was past 10:30 pm. More interviews with the accused and more stories from Acosta and another nightmare. The horrible, scary man came in her nightmare again but it's almost real. This time he told Kristen that he is George and he was holding a knife and asked Kristen to answer his questions if she can't answer correctly then he will cut her fingers, one by one. George told her if she knows Popular Mechanics. Then George vanished when she glanced her eyes on the piece of yellow poster with words in red ink: CAN YOU READ THIS? That was taped on the ceiling of her house. To think whether it was a nightmare or somebody is just trying to scare the hell out of her is one of those mysteries and suspense that we have to watch. It's not that I'm trying to divulge their secret of the story when it's my first time to watch the pilot episode of that television series that night. I don't have ESP to know what that series is all about. It's about EVIL so maybe there are evils in this world that they have to tackle and let it be known to all skeptics that there is EVIL.

What? Right there in my mind was the magazine I had in my collection I was thinking then that George is probably an alien not the demon and definitely not evil. Or somehow, we have distorted thoughts that evil and devils are actually aliens? Only God knows. So strange indeed eh?

Next day, the psychological testing with the accused again. Kristen was shocked to find out that somehow the accused killer/murderer/rapist knew her nightmares about George when she's the only one who knew about it and ...the psychologist/therapist at the clinic. Later they found out that Townsend had stolen the documents from the psychotherapist that's why. What is Townsend's relationship with the accused?

Now what? The devil you know is an alien? Read Popular Mechanics then. How are we to survive when aliens invade us? When will the invasion begins? is there a body snatcher in your community?

Existentialism

SAD as in Seasonal Affected Disorder? Wow! So sad, Madam Tussad. I happened to watch the latest episode of television's show Superstore, minutes ago. Amy Sosa asked her boyfriend to do some guiding and fixing on the store's new robot named Glen. The robot has no remorse on where it's going or what his function that it never see the mess its making and the Superstore staff were pissed off. Well, you know robots should be programmed properly. The function of robot should be for the good of helping the rest of the workers, some of which are somewhat "slow" or working not according to their job category. (Great acting dudes).  It has to be "programmed according to its function." If the function is reverse to do something bad then the robot will do it as it was programmed. So it depends on the "program." By the way, Mateo was taken by Federal Agents to Federal Prison. At the end of this 30 minute episode, the whole Superstore management and staff/clerk took the robot up on the rooftop and one of the Superstore clerk pushed a button and the robot fell from the roof down to the ground. However, surprise of all surprises, the robot managed to get up and robotwalk and said "it was just accident." That's what it is with robots they never get sick, nor hurt and they don't get tired and no wage for them. No salary for robots. No benefit but their work is also needed not to threaten the works of other workers but to help. That's what it is for and that's how and why they are build to HELP humans. There are heavy loads that humans cannot do or carry and robotic machines such backhoe, cranes, tractors, vacuums, lawnmowers, military robot soldiers,  drones, hospital equipment are God-sent.

Your indispensable TV or television and computers are robotic machines. Your cellphones are small gadgets robotic with features. So...

I know that's unfair right? Humans get hurt, get sick and in order to live and survive must be paid for their work so that they can pay their bills, pay mortgages, and be a part of the good society. Humans are humans, they are people with feelings. For humans to exist and co-exist, work is much needed and wages must be paid by employers. It is what it is. We are living in high-tech universe and we have to begin to understand that we exist because of these "robots."

The existence of robotic machines maybe seen as a threat but the overall  usage and functions benefit mankind. So be it.

Stir Crazy!

Nothing to blog at this point in time unless I get mad at something. I get headaches every now and then due to changing weather patterns which is abnormal however can live with cooler temperature than hot temperature. Hot weather temperature seems to increase or rise up blood pressure. Stroke and heart attack frequently strikes at summer time.

I don't know why I blog when I don't even receive wage from doing this. So many of us blogging without pay.

This morning's news informed us on TV that there are 84,000 people in BC with mental illness. Uhm, really? How accurate is that latest news? LOL. Ha ha ha! I  think if you are working so hard without pay then that's insanity. Who wont go insane?

There are many volunteers in British Columbia. That's justified that there are many humans here who are practising loopholes? Or just that they are crazy like me that working hard without pay is a mental illness.

OMG! Ask somebody where he is going? Ask somebody where she is going... the usual respond is GOING CRAZY! that's right. So 84,000 British Columbians are crazy.

Autumn Flavours

 The Fall season brings forth the coolest wind and breeze and it's hard to wake up at a very early morning because it's dark outside and you know that's what it is...

During Autumn season we tend to eat more. Humans are like care bears you know...

More hot foods, more hot soup! More delicious chicken dumplings to savor the flavor.

Never Ending Environment

Planet Earth is still a beautiful place to live no matter where you at. Have you been to Sweden, in photographs? Have you been to Sweden in person? It's probably cold there now just like here in Canada. We don't really know what life is... in Sweden. At a very young age, heard of Sweden, first thought it was an "ice cream." There's only one ice cream that's Magnolia. To add Sweden ice cream? Okay, that's good too.

 Europe, have you been to Europe? Europe is one of the best tourist destinations in the world.
I don't know what life in Europe nor in Sweden. We can't compare life in Sweden than our life here in Canada. But if you are in Sweden you can travel within European countries without the need for visa.

Why such a "smart" little girl Greta is being used in a way that leads to hatred. Where are her parents? Why she is not heard in her country and she is mad about other people's reaction on everything that leads to something like "money." She hates money? Do you think I will stay at home all the time, everyday if I have money? Some people can travel anywhere, everywhere because they are financially affluent. Nobody is a freeloader. You are called a freeloader if you travel for free or you eat free food. Somehow, we have our own food, clothing, and other basic necessities to stay alive and survive. Why would somebody get mad when I said that money is necessary to change climate. It's true. Have you studied SCIENCE? What have you studied? It's not what you studied but what have your learned? Little girl, everybody needs money. Volunteerism is good but working with pay and accepting wages (salary) is the reward of good, decent, honest WORK. You can't pay tax and be a part of a good community without paying tax and taxes are paid in the form of money (in cheques or through credit cards). You cannot pay toys in buying chocolates (as in advertisement for Cadbury chocolates, cute television AD though) because you have to keep the vendors or shop owner survive. If you keep paying in terms of barter, bankruptcy is the next big thing. Is Capitalism better than Communism? Countries who never use cash in the form of money? Why? Is there WAR? Countries without gold standard?

If I have to complain about how hot the earth or how cold the temperature do you think I will just raise my wand and say, "AH go away from me, take your hot asshole away from this land." Do you think it's just like sort of magic? Or pray to God, the Father Almighty and change the climate. Did Jesus prayed to God for climate change?

Once there was a girl, she's so smart and an environmental activist who also had a voice in the U.N. Everybody was all ears when they heard her powerful voice on how she sees the world as if "dying." At the end times. Severn Suzuki also was a word of mouth with her vision of "end times because of what she saw about environment being destroyed." I don't know if she and other activists went to the exact locations of where those environmental hazards were and what has been destroyed or they just watched them on TV. Somehow some news are real, some news are fake and hoarded from long time ago. Props? Don't know. Seeing is believing. We all should look at what is beautiful in our planet. Instead on focusing on what is bad and  ugly! If you think ugly is beautiful? Something is very wrong.

How big is our planet? Sometimes what you see on televisions are part of harsh climate changes during earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods in every part of the world. That's every year. When the occurrence of calamities is "every year" as in year after year...it's nature as its baddy outcome. It's "natural." It comes and go. It's a yearly renewal. After every disaster there is a build-up. It will take longer period of time for whole complete renovation because money is the problem. It needs tons and tons of capital to build houses and buildings. Where in the world that you can raise your wand or raise your stick to build a pyramid? They raised their rods to destroy everything. They used rods to create troubles, floods, and disaster, famine and pestilence. Wildfire in BC and Alberta that's unusual for the past 4 years. Why it's hot? Is it unusually hot? We moved houses from different parts of the island in the last 20 years and you wont believe that different parts of the island have different temperature or different weather changing patterns. Unpredictable. To think that's within the island. So weather changing patterns would definitely be different and unpredictable in different regions of the earth.

If you can't handle being in the kitchen, stay away from the kitchen. Hum, heard that from a politician. True, so true. If you cannot handle the pressure, avoid the pressure. You have a choice.

Not too many can handle the pressure in front of the computer. Computers give radiation and fallout. How long your body can stand the heat and hit of invisible bullet?

Have you watched the continuation of  FEAR THE WALKING DEAD? Episode Channel 5. The group of Morgan and Alycia  turned down the offer of Virginia. Virginia losing it made loud noise firing shots upwards and told them to holler them if they need help. Because of noise, the zombie walkers were out from the forest and started attacking them one by one. Only few of them fought the zombies and the rest of them managed to cross the bridge. They walked a long mile to the location they promised but to their disappointment the Humbulg Gulch was already occupied by zombies. Morgan and his friends apologized to their newly recruits. Option: To ask help from Virginia.

There will be rumors of war every time. There will be people who will scam other people that the world is ending. The world will never end. That wont happen. ever. People will die because they end up their lives or they died because of incurable sickness or old age. People will die because of murder, suicides, or because of accident and disaster if you happened to be at the wrong time and wrong place. But the world will never end just because of the forces of nature are unstoppable or uncontrollable.

Changing Attitudes Of Minds

It's only 15 degrees C. today. I hope it wont go up. Not necessary. It's Autumn remember? Problem is, don't know where to relocate the palm tree.

What about let the palm tree stay there outside the backyard until winter. Would be nice to find out if the palm tree will survive from fall to winter up to springtime.

Risking the palm tree in cold weather condition is just a matter of survival test.

Why not eh? I have seen a palm tree somewhere in another part of the island. It was a tall palm tree, older, maybe more than 10 years old. Then in another part of the island had seen another kind of palm tree (anahaw, which is native to Philippines and Florida and tropical islands). How could anahaw survives in 4 season climate outside without dying? It survives the long cold winter. It survives for such long years, how and why? How a 50 year old  rambutan tree managed to survive at the island? There could be a great explanation for that eh? Could be that part of the Vancouver island's ground is hotter or never been a receiver of snowfall. There are parts of the island where snow doesn't fall. Or the snow had a fall but because the ground is hot the snow melts right away. Whatever.

Maybe let the palm tree stay there outside and we'll find out if it will survive fall and winter. I don't even know yet if it will snow this year at the island. We had so much snow last year in December 2018 and tons of snow last January and February 2019 maybe less snow at winter time. That's what it is with weather and climate, we are not God so weather and climate is still unpredictable. We cannot choose where we have to live in perfect harmony and choose the  perfect climate. Somehow, scientists can only make predictions, some are accurate and sometimes inaccurate and imperfections are part of human nature. Climate change > they usually rally and protest as if it would help change the climate. It can only be controlled by the power of your faith and money. Money makes the world go round and money can move mountains. Changing attitudes of minds are detrimental to your climate change protests.

It's The Color Of Your Skin That Identifies Your Race

I told my husband that my skin is getting dark since we moved here, in this part of the island. The sun shines so bright here maybe because it's just closer to the beach and the wind is stronger, humidity is high,  and the heat is directly been hitting the ground because there's no forest surrounding the area.

I'm from the Brown Race but my skin complexion is not really dark brown. I don't swim in chlorinated pool just to make my skin look pale or pinkish in color. My husband told me that my skin color is not really dark, nor its brown. I have fair skin color and so as my children who were born here in Canada and whose father is a White Canadian.  Actually when my husband and I first met my friends and I noticed that my skin color is fairer than him. How could that be? Weird right? He should be whiter than me. The only reason why some humans are albino white its because it is through its gene or something hereditary, and some people are 100% white because of their parents are both white Caucasians. However, not all whites have blond hair or blue eyes. You really have to study Genetics.

I don't know why so many people are bothered and worried about skin color. Then before that color issues about PM Justin Trudeau who attended a costume party and wear the Aladdin costume and also had worn black makeup to cover his fair skin. Aladdin by the way is a comic character from Walt Disney's and Aladdin is an Arab. What do you think Arabs look like in person? Arabs have dark skin complexion, being people living in the desert land. What do you think happened to Moses and the people during the Exodus, 40 years in the wilderness, what do you think is their skin color being subjected to super hot, humid desert? You as non-colored humans will have dark colored skin because of the direct visibility to sun light. Have you gone fishing for five days out in the ocean on hot summer days? Why not try it and find out if your skin color will change. Cover your face with burka or anything that covers your face leaving your eyes and mouth uncover while you are at the desert and next thing you know your face will have pigmentation as if you had vitiligo.

WHITE skin complexion is the color of privilege. How a white person chooses another skin color could be a matter of blending in or he wants to look cool and inferior? Or just that the person has ADD.

I think there is something deeper sense within white people who disguised themselves as dark, black people. If its not for Halloween or costume party then it's about another somewhat darker side behind it. Colored people assumed it as offensive because of the case of  KKK that happened in the southern part of America, somewhere in Mississippi. You just can't see the person's identity or color behind those white suits. A movie was filmed in such racial portrayal on how races are divided and analyzed by critic. It's not it's offensive or a mockery of another race but because it denotes and connotes fear.

There was once an experiment of two families: black family vs white family. What's the experiment about? The black family has to undergo changing their colors, skin color and the other white family has to darken their skin tone color. It was not a taboo experiment. Actually those families loved it and because they were paid for such transformation. So, I think it's about choice and how educated those two families who accepted something of an experiment that helped both parties and educating many families about racial colors. It's nothing to be afraid of. It's nothing sort of political but because they want to know reactions and counter-reactions. It's just for experiment and for educational and socio-economic experiment! This experiment happened long time ago and was shown on TV documentary.

Love the color of your skin because it is the identity of your RACE.
You are born with it.

Sunflower Heads & Seeds

 I first thought it's better to just throw this 12" floret disk head of sunflower but then I realized the seeds are not really that bad compared with the largest floret disk given by my sister which measures 16" in diameter. Why not? This sunflower disk is a product from my garden. I planted it, raised it and it was a healthy sunflower given with  lot of care and attention.

Part of it is the seeds (for seedlings) are not so dry and the little moisture according to experts (farmers) will yield better quality of sunflowers. It's true. A very dry seeds would eventually yield nothing because once you open the seed's coating? It's empty inside. Strange!

 Better not throw this variety of sunflowers. Know why? I first thought it was black seeds on its floret disk. Truth is, the seeds are actually violet in color.

Violet to purple colored sunflower seeds. I didn't plant or sow any seed of this color in the garden. I wonder who planted this variety on the garden. It was sort of a miracle...perhaps it's a miracle. Very strange indeed. lol. Stranger things.

Time to keep these amazing seeds in the storage and have them ready for planting next year (year 2020) at springtime.

 Everyday have to think about what to cook for lunch and dinner. We have enough frozen meat and frozen fish in the freezer. I just need to thaw the frozen and cook whatever is available for the time being.

I don't like being redundant in my story and being redundant with what I prepare for meals.

Anyway, homemade cheeseburger is our family's cravings. It would be nice to get out once in a while and sit at the restaurants and fast food  outlet and savor other people's food. But how fast and easy to cook this simple hamburger anyway especially if I have the ingredients?

Beef patties, buns, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, catsup, mayonnaise, mustard sauce, ground black pepper and veggie salt. French fries from potatoes baked in the hot oven.

One of the easiest meal to prepare and grill and bake.

 Oh, you have noticed that the bougainvillea is now inside my dining room. Goody! We experienced storms in previous days and it was windy too and to stop the plant from swaying through the harsh storm and winds better have the bougainvillea inside, indoors or lose it. My bougainvillea is only five months old and it needs "tender loving care." Besides the weather temperature is dropping slowly but surely and Autumn season will eventually come within few days from now. Bougainvillea is a tropical plant and it needs hot, or warm weather condition.

 The temperature keeps changing outside, from 10 degrees celsius to 15 dc to 16 dc today.
You don't want those pretty flowers getting the harsh weather condition that keeps changing frequently every now and then.

I also noticed that the branches and trellis already have thorns. Spiky thorns. Some thorns are smaller than the others and be careful with their sharp long, sturdy thorns. Now you wonder why house owners built fences made of bougainvilleas in California... simply a beautiful fence with "barb(ed) wire-like thorns is a must."

Know Nothing

It's true, you don't get much to choose your vocabulary words in millions if you are to just stay in one corner all the time. The linguists penetrate the innermost remote area of many lands from down under to the bottoms of the oceans in many continents as possible. The possibility is endless when you journey around the world. You get to know the different culture, heritage, tradition and way of life of other people beyond your wildest dreams. When pictures are not the same in actual, visual images that are just in front of you, things you can see, touch, listen or hear, taste, smell and all the splendors combined of what those things small or large meant to you.

Once again I visited the ranch, the farm lands, the vast incredible, wide open spaces. Just as when I see those herds of cattle, horses and sheeps...suddenly I smelled something. WTH!!!!!! Why I can smell the manure?! That was uncalled for. My mind is different from yours. I absorbed so much and I can see and smell nature even from far, far away. Even in pictures. My God! What's wrong with me?

It is for this reason that sometimes I don't like travelling. I don't like the long drive and the outposts there on the long highways that leads to one town from another takes an hour, sometimes takes 2-4 hours to get to the next civilized city. It would probably nice if the long journey would be aboard a luxurious winnebago with built-in bathroom and shower room or a luxurious cruise ship. The hassle when travelling in an airplane. That too, I can't stand a 16 to 17 hours of such travel, very inconvenient. Up in the air for 17 long, long, long hours! That's suffocating as if it will stop my heart from  beating and it will stop my lungs from breathing. Marketplace had a recent survey on how clean the airlines (airplanes). With just five minutes cleaning time at every stop over, cleaning  agency had no jurisdiction how clean and safe the inside parts of the planes from its seats, chair pockets, seatbelts, trays, washrooms, door handles, etc. How about how clean are trains and bus? It would be just the same. Nothing's clean. Even hospitals are not 100% clean because you have patients who are sick and infections come and go like what? Is that a question? Of course nobody's clean anymore. Even if you bathe and shower. Even if you dip your body in chlorinated water pool. Whatever! I should not watch those documentaries. It just make me sick watching it.

I have certain phobias that made me cringe and just stay at home. Something freaks me out. Prick the freak out? lol. Jokers! I know you guys are afraid of clowns or Jack-in-the box. Terror: Infamy had jack in the bag though and Chester happened to have discovered the yurei. Wait a second, Chester looks like Angelina's son Maddox. ?

What will happen at FEAR THE WALKING DEAD? Now that the arrival of new villains would ruin Morgan and Alycia's mission. Alycia not stopping nor losing hope that Madison, her mother is still alive and not consumed by zombies. Not yet. We didn't see zombies biting Madison to pieces so... she seems to be alive and might appear in one of those episodes. I hope so. Madison is such a credible versatile actress. 

What happened at BIG BROTHER is something every BB fans should watch. Nicole the quiet, silent type girl who is frequently seen playing board games with Cliff won the POV after the Comics trivia. She's becoming fierce and as what everyone would say, "        ." Michie has no choice but to use Holly as pawn (after Nicole used the POV to save Cliff) and seated side by side with Tommy for eviction. What will happen,  break the bromance because individuality is now the main event?

If you can't find oil at your backyard, plant watermelons. Sunflowers can be a source for your sunflower oil but your sunflower variety is not the source. Maybe source of food for birds. Whatever! Who are they anyway? They should use their true real name instead of hiding their true identity. Part of which when you already have your identity revealed yet they don't believe. So you are being believed on how thick is your wallet and what you can give to the unbelievers. Same old story of Moses. Nobody believes God until they were to eat maggots in the hot and humid desertland without water. While the rest are happy with alligators and kangaroos' meat. Yuck.

Ah darn! Know nothing.

Harvest Time: From The Garden

Lorne came home from work and brought home some grapes. They are real fresh grapes from the vineyard at his workplace. Sweet!

 I can feel, touch and taste the freshness of these succulent grapes. He likes this green colored grapes instead of those purple or red grapes. There's a very distinct fragrance from this variety. I think you can make a perfume from its scented sweetness.  Grapes variation in taste. You don't need to make these grapes for wine for they are good enough as dessert.

 Another fresh pickings from the berry garden. Raspberries are sweet. For yogurt and ice cream, for pies and smoothies. Good for milkshakes.

 The sunflower head sure right for picking too? maybe...

 There's a stranger among the garden of sunflowers.  This is not the large russian or mammoth. I don't know how a strange sunflower with dark floret disk appeared at the garden. Mixed-up of some kind from the seeds in the sachet I bought from the store. My sister also had those weird sunflowers.

 Total of 1,801 seeds from the huge sunflower head. For replanting after Winter is over next year.

 Time to cook and harvested one of the 3 remaining cabbages at the vegetable garden.

Beef and sausage, cabbage stir fry noodles. Spicy & hot!

 Baked salmon with mayo plus seasonings: salt, black pepper, sliced basil leaves and sprigs of cilantro and fresh tomatoes from the garden.

More seeds from the Oregon giants (beans) and seeds from the squash for replanting next year.

It's right to give thanks and praise for the good, golden, and wonderful harvest.

To See Is To Believe

The largest sunflower head I ever seen, touched and held, actually holding it right here on this photo.
Before anyone get confused, the sunflower head is not a product from my garden of sunflowers but the seedlings belong to me which I gave to my sister Emmy.

The question of why her sunflowers thrive to be bigger, larger or monster-like in size proportion when those seeds came in the same package that I bought from the store. It's a very long story.

I planted the first seeds of sunflower direct to the ground on the garden last March 29, 2019 together with other plants such as the dahlias and loganberries. The ground is just the simple soil without any fish compost or fertilizer. Although I watered them with liquid fertilizer every week. I didn't follow the spacing which should be 15cm apart and the plant should be 24" apart from each other. I want the plants close to each other so that in "pictures" they will look pleasing to the eyes. For selfie purposes only as in "background." Pretty adornment. My beautiful garden.

Yeah, that's what it is... Now you know that if one sunflower plant is spaced out 2-4 ft. apart then it's not good for the photo ops.

The continuation of the story: First week of April, the island experienced some kind of storm and windstorm that toppled down a part of the fence. Neighbors also had their fence tumbled upside down. Then it was cold again. Frost not over yet. Sunflower seeds on the ground probably been shocked, however they survived the very harsh climate. Tough. I planted/sowed some seedlings on 2 empty egg cartons for my sister Emmy and kept them inside the house. On April 14, 2019 the seeds sprout out.

 Then on April 27, 2019 my family was invited for barbecue party at my niece's house.
We're supposed to held it at the beach but it was so windy and cold. Brought the new seedlings of sunflowers.

I gave the egg carton boxes of newly sprout sunflower plants to my sister. I think all those seedlings were 19 or 20, can't remember. My sister had it divided into two: for her and my niece Clarizze.
My sister's sunflowers died. The sunflowers at my niece's thrive to be the "monster size sunflowers." LOL. j/k.

My sister Emmy and brother-in-law gave this huge sunflower head to bring home for replanting. OMG! Their sunflower seeds are so big.

Slowly Getting There

My blog is not a charity. I'm not a charity case. My family pays for hydro (electricity) and internet connection. I have sets of computer and digital cameras to keep on blogging. I have a mind of my own. I am educated and I know my grammar. Blogging is not an easy task. If THE GUARDIAN writers are asking a PAYWALL should I ask the same thing?

BLOGGER IS FREE for blogwriters. How to make money or earn money from blogging is to follow directions for advertising.

Do I have to blog that way just to make sure that you don't get anything from my blogs and I should be the one who gets something from my readers? After all, BLOGGING is an occupation.

Seemed absurd. I tackled about this situation before.

You know that writers had the same kind of social dilemma with artists, artisans, painters and those people whose occupation are into ARTS. People who are into SCIENCES get millions to billions dollars in funding because they are wealthy... but the ARTS? I don't know.

Funding for here and there, funding for those who are in need most of help such as the SICK & THE DYING. The weakest human beings get the funding. Is that right? I know that's weird. The SLOW people get the funding. So we have to be slow, weak and what?

My computer is getting slow... my mind is sharp.

Primal Fear

Can you identify one apple from another apple? Only if you are the owner of the apple orchard or you planted those seeds one by one and then sort them out and identify it one by one. There are at least 30 different species of apple, so far. Bees and other insects help in the pollination process. Grafting also makes it possible to breed one apple variety to another apple variety.

Have you seen  peaches and nectarines that looked like apples?

Know what? I happened to see group of peaches that looked like apples. Of course inside those peaches, the differences would be the color of the flesh and the seeds (and stones) inside to taste the peaches from apples? Big difference.

It's true you can't judge the book by its cover and that too proves true with apples and peaches. Salmons and tuna? One particular salmon, the chinooks that resembles tuna in taste and flavour when its cooked.

How about to identify one variety of sunflower to another sunflower species? There are several species of sunflowers nowadays and the variation would be in sizes, shapes, colors and floret disks.

Nothing is the same, even identical twins have differences. It's just that some humans have sharper visions and other humans have poor visions.

Poor visions become a hindrance to many of us especially those who are working in the Bureau of Identification. There are high-tech machines that are being used for face recognition process and that too is not 100% accurate. In all these cases, TRUST is something we all have to live by or we all are subjected to wiping out the human race. You have to learn to identify humans from animals. You have to learn to identify people as humans not machines. If you cannot identify your own kind then there is something with your mind.

Mental Health issue becomes the conflict in every assessment and if you are starting to act as animal you are to become part of the ZOO. That's primal fear for you.

What's Up?

Labour Day's over! It was a happy day for most who had a holiday in their favourite, happy place and sad day for those who cannot have a holiday.

It's the beginning of the School Year 2019-2020 for Canadian students. I don't know the lives of other students nowadays in Elementary & High School nor in College but in Canada their student work loads are probably over the top. Just by looking at their textbooks? OMG! Are they all geniuses? At one point in time when teachers and  educators should also receive the same kind of tests imposed on students. Why not? You know why? It's been unfair competition. If they can pass the test imposed on those students then there's a fair chance that those kids will really pass or they are teaching them the methods of passing the grades required to move up.

In the movie BAD TEACHER, Cameron Diaz portrayed a bad teacher role but actually she's a good  teacher who made a difference in making her students pass the right way. She made a point to get through the bureaucratic process and what happened is a "lift off." You know what I mean? You don't know?

When I was in HS my teachers did something to that effect. If UP students are using the textbooks for their scholarly students then we had those textbooks too. It should be integrated right? What those educators are teaching their geniuses in HS we are being taught the same kind of lesson plans. Why not? In other words what "genius Sheldon" is absorbing through textbooks, encyclopedias and computers every students should also experience the same kind of learning the process. If they are having those testing, other students should experience same amount of learning process. Standardized test for all. It would be unfair if one school has all the textbooks and lesson plans given by the bureaucrats because they have certain favoritism. Fair, Unfair? It's not a game!

In College? In University... tell me the bureaucrat's  favourite schools and University in Canada? How about in the US? HARVARD University is probably the favourite among the wealthy families. Difficulties in getting to Harvard? Yale? Oxford? I think to get there is "whom you know" not what you know. Then the experimentation begins. Rat Race.

Now that my setting is for BLOG AUTHOR only which is activated and saved for my eyes only do you think lurkers and stalkers and hackers can still hack?

I don't think so.

It's impossible.

I will make sure that I will guard my blogs and catch those hackers and stalkers.

There is that LONG entry of a blog composition here. About 5 paragraphs. But it's GONE! I don't want gone in sixty seconds so why oh why?  It was one of my wonderful, beautiful compositions ever! It went blank. Wow! What happened?

I don't keep silent. I am not that kind of being silenced. I was born this way...

Survival Of The Fittest

The clematis started its withering heights. Flowers bloomed abundantly before August and when mid-August comes no more flowers for them, nothing on its branch, nothing on its trellis. The petunias are dying in August. Yeah it was August! But look at how radiant those bright yellow-orange sunflowers. Marvelous. They are truly amazing sunflowers! August is the month when radiance of sunflowers started blooming one by one, to think that dahlias in different variety, colors and shapes are also in competition with them. However, there is one remarkable plant that never stop blooming since the month of May, that is my favourite flower > Bougainvillea.


It was a 20" plant that I bought from Canadian Tire last springtime. Who would believe that this tropical plant will live and prosper until now. The most stunning part of this floral,  it grows so fast, so swiftly and its crawling stems are very sturdy and branching out like an elephant trunks. From being an "elephant" its crawling trellis seems like "octopus" now. I know, using weird description for this tropical flowering plant. I'm just fortunate to have this plant and wishing it will survive until fall and winter and hoping it will live like it used to be no matter what the weather is.

I was away for an hour from my laptop keyboard. It was an hour episode of Fear The Walking Dead: Episode: Ner Tamid. Story: Charlie was looking for a permanent place to settle and found a synagogue and met  Jacob the Rabbi. Charlie helped the rabbi by contacting John and to bring a battery for the ceiling lamp at the synagogue. When it's time to go, Charlie would rather stay at the synagogue with the Rabbi instead, however, group of zombies came to attack them and they rushed towards the rooftop instead for safety. When they can no longer wait, John and Laura used a ladder to get down and moved from one vehicle to another to reach their vehicle, however there are too many zombies surrounding them. If only they have the right tools sort of a harpoon or longer knife, sword or bow & arrows they wont have a problem but what they have are guns with limited supply of bullets and small knives. ((They could use the ladders to defeat those zombies. Ladder? Yeah, Jackie Chan  used ladder during his fighting scenes in one of his blockbuster movies)). Charlie opened the door of the synagogue and the Rabbi made a noise using an ancient biblical "trumpet" to let zombies in and they managed to get out after and join John and Laura (Naomi) . Dwight and Sarah was about to be harassed by Logan and his company only to escape when they saw John's coming/driving the SWAT truck. It turned out Logan was also out of gas. That's what big trucks are always asking for loads of oil and gasoline. A Rabbi is another new cast of character to make a difference in FTWD, but where are Morgan, Grace, Alycia, Victor, and the bunch of kids?

Helping out when they are the ones who need help. I think the idea of Morgan helping out using walkie talkies and all the driving here and there always get themselves into trouble. The idea of Charlie wanting to have a permanent home to stay is the best idea rather than looking, searching for survivors who are up to nothing but adding more conflict, multiplying troubles for them. Laura's idea of permanence is having to stay where there is water. They should look for a place closer to the beach, river or lake. Next week another episode to watch for. And tonight, another fantastic, incredible, "scary theme" feature for BIG BROTHER. Another game of endurance and whoever wins tonight becomes the Head of Household. Houseguests were left hanging up to an old ghost house and ghostly creatures tried to scare the hell out until they fall on the ocean (make believe like it was an ocean). The painter did an amazing painting of frightening landscape for such very costly, very expensive game of endurance, wit and skills.

Adverse Reactions

Heartburn and indigestion is just nothing sort of a problem. If you can manage to stay alive by breathing and coughing and if you can still breathe even if there's pain on your chest. Tap your chest as if you are Tarzan and scream like Tarzan (((AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)))) calling for his favorite elephants. If you think the pain is not a heart attack or stroke. Or could be that your bra is so tight almost unbreathable due to excess fat whatever then you're ok. Yup. You have to calm down. Ahahahahaha! Jokers!!

By the way, next time I go shopping never to forget TUMS or GAVISCON. Maybe I need it especially when I consume hot peppers, black peppers, chili peppers. I love hot, spicy  foods so maybe that's the reason why I had that severe heartburn. It never happened to me before until yesterday so next time I'll be prepared. Through all those pains, watching people on television - dramatic episodes of pain, anguish, torments and ailments feel like I'm also suffering with them. Their agony, their defeat and misery can only be felt if it happens (happened) to you.

Now what? Weather temperature is getting cooler which is great. I might concentrate on my sewing next few days and to think that our dryer is getting haywire. I don't know what's the problem this time. Could be the "iron" in its system. Supposedly dryer should have "heat" on it but no heat. Wow! You know digitalized high tech machines is powered by satellites so probably when satellites no longer in function up there in "constellation" or the warranty/guaranty already expires in orbit then time to change it. Darn! digitalized. So maybe the robotic sensor somewhere had malfunction again and sent that "code pattern on its display screen." Brand new pattern as code? Something new, Or maybe that's what is happening too in HK. So many skyscrapers, tall buildings there's probably ghostlike features in there that they cannot receive signals or latest happenings around the world. Or could be that "extradition and sedition are the culprits" what could be? OMG! They could be the new "IT." Please let me relax and tell me they are hoard news from the past or scenes from the new MATRIX movie of Keanu Reeves. I should not see or watch bad news they are overwhelming our daily turn of events. I hate bad news because they tend to change the result of stock market.

You know that commercial advertisement, of a mother who was awaken by loud noise outside. She got up from her bed and asked Alexa to turn on the lights outside and she checked from the window and saw her daughter practicing soccer at night. That could happen. Robots will turn on the lights and off the lights in your homes or buildings and the robots will dominate your entire life in everything digitalized. You could be inside the elevator and the elevator will stop because the robots were controlled and  programmed to stop the elevator and you were trapped inside. Because robots are programmed by humans who are not perfect thus, robots could be ruining your lives or hope that our lives will be inspired that none of us are really perfect. It takes one to experience what life would be in the future. And you are to experience them now. Why wait until later, right? In iRobot the movie which is a futuristic sci-fi movie when robots rule the world of an imperfect world. Will Smith, the actor who played the part of  half machine/half human made a mistake of sleeping while driving/travelling on highway  and when that happened the robots were alarmed and want to capture him. The robot told him he is a danger to himself and to others.  Robots are trained and programmed to do the work of police task force and they are doing their job properly, in a very strict sense however robots became too forceful and abusing their power that alerted the whole city and community.Robots programmed to do the work of police force or the military seems a good idea unless of course the program in their robot minds are changed into something else by bad programmers or whoever is in control.

Robots and androids are just your amazing prescribed medicines that can cure your ailments, however every medicine or medication has certain adverse effect on human bodies. Nothing's perfect and nobody's perfect!
