The Past Is The Present. The Present Is The Past.

What will happen if computers are ban or will be banned in the next two years in our generation? What will happen if there are only chosen few who can and are allowed to use computers? Do you think it will affect technology and the way educators teach the rest of the student population? Do you think higher priorities are given to students who can afford high technology? Would it matter in how grades are made? Will the ban in technology affect the economy?

QUALITY, GREAT SKILLS, PERFECTION will be affected of course.  It will be so tad boring and slow. There will be lots of work opportunity for everybody but naturally only few workers will have fair advantage and you will discover that without computers some workers are not that really geniuses, nor even average. You will find out that some students were actually helped by their knowledge in the way they copied and pasted answers within seconds so it's a sleight of the hands. Without computers life wont be that easy and maybe people will have that "relapse" and millions of population will find their way to depression as in psyched dep. It will be a long duration of wasted hours staring at blank space.

That's sad! Just thinking about it leads me to lalaland. No, not really because I am very creative and resourceful. Remember I have an arsenal of skills. lol.

The mountains will eventually go bald, there will be flash flood due to overused of logs, wood, all kinds of wood and the rain-forest will lose its wildlife habitat and nature wont be the same as it was before. The use of paper and other forest products will be non-stop and the recycling business will be productive but only leads to water pollution.

Without computers, economy will fluctuate or maybe will suffer the GREAT DEPRESSION and there will be wars everywhere. It will be the return to rural not urbanization. There will be mass boycotts, rallies and protests everywhere. The roads and highways will be filled of people sad people doing their mass protest. It's gonna be noisy and billions of dollars will be lost from mad, crazy people who will break- ins just to use other people's computers. Or there will be power outage everywhere because if only chosen people gets access to computers these radicals will get even. No one will have access to technology. Prophecy of some sort? Or it happened already before?

Dude, IT HAPPENED already before. It happened before and those people who were computer literates rallied and boycotted up to the next countries, to the next borders and they even arrived at the doorstep of the universities in the Philippines. How could they do that? Landlock? What route they used? The undergrounds that were destroyed during WW II were back to life? The railways can pass through the borders without guards? Or the tunnels were opened for such access? To better understand that kind of situation you must do your research. I think Encyclopedia Britannica had that story. A movie was made about those tunnels. One of those tunnels also was featured in the apocalyptic television series the Walking Dead. Not really a myth. It was a part of the global domination at the time of Hitler.

If the past is the present we can all just hope that the present is just a gift. Rather being optimistic in times of uncertainty.

Keep Doing IT?

You keep doing it while others stop doing it. Whatever! What's wrong? Mind your own business.

Look, doing nothing is the work of idle hands. We all know that and we must encourage children to do what pleases them and make them happy and it's the same thing with what they want to pursue in higher education. Encourage the children to be more active, be educated and keep them busy to be more productive in the society where they live.

EDUCATION is always a big priority. It's the ladder that leads them to succeed and discover themselves and their potentials to achieve great things.

Education is the stepping stones to future endeavor, the stairs to higher accommodation, to the future, to acquire better employment and higher status in life.

Adding more knowledge and experience is the way to go. Computer knowledge helps to advance to chosen skills and it pays the biggest interest if you are in the I.T. or Information Technology.

Just keep do I.T. Believe in yourself and in your specialized skills. But don't forget that to pursue higher education, to achieve great things requires capital and you only succeed if you attain the happiness and contentment. But then will you be happy if you are full of debts?

Unhappiness and feeling the inadequacy and emptiness means failure. Meaning... you are successful only when you achieved happiness and contentment. That's reality for you. Nonsense? Well, it's really up to you.

I.T. only encourages people with specialized skills. You don't have IT? This is not the place for you. Wow, that's to discourage someone eh? Better to encourage someone to develop skills >> that's the role of teachers and educators not to forget the role of parents to educate their children if teachers can't do it or lack the mental capacity to teach but really it's upon somebody's interest on developing their potentials to be of benefit to others after all KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

Photography & Artworks

How about a large size photograph of a rose on the wall of  the living room? The color of the rose doesn't match the sofa eh? Whatever. I will try it on red roses or any other variety of flora anyway. Wait...

Okay that's it. Good enough for today. My obsession with arts and photography is becoming a crazy obsession already.

If you are also obsessed about colorful  posters with beautiful objects (nature, landscape, architectural buildings, animals)  or prints on canvas, you wont see anybody selling bright colorful objects of your own desire because ... I don't really know why those traders never print something that everyone of us will be delighted or fascinated, instead we end up disappointed because what's available in the market, shop for prints are mostly artworks in "pastel colors." Think that ink is really very expensive and by the time you add the cost, the total manufacturing or production cost will leave you breathless. The printing should always be a "wholesale" or you should have at least tens of thousands of orders. Good paper quality is also the culprit. Imagine a "mural size print of the subject that you like to produce." SEARS company sells "murals" and the cost of their mural size wallpaper cover ranged from $100 to probably $200 + tax.

Sometimes, I wish to own a printing press. Print my own copy of books and produce my own wall mural. Wishing upon a star...

I could only imagine.

Wall Decors For Living Room

 Maybe because I am artistic or have that sense of artsy-techy gene running my veins that I always envisioned any artworks to display on the wall of our living room.

Problem is... my husband doesn't like to adorn our living room walls or any part of the walls with portraits, frames or canvas or any kind of artworks.

So, what I did is to just decorate the walls through digitalized copy & paste posted on my photographs with photographs.

It's Movie Time

How I entertain myself? Well duh, of course aside from my normal hobbies that sets me apart from the rest of the hobbyists who are also busy in their own world.

When I'm finished with my household chores that start from early morning after breakfast then after lunch or before lunch and there's that special hours that I can use to do that spare time. Spare time sometimes happened after dinner when there's nothing to do because I'm done with house cleaning and organizing things, done cooking, done cleaning the kitchen, laundry done,  done with everything and it's time to rest.

Then time to relax and watch TV. When TV News are suffocating to see and listen to because of redundancy and because it's boring and seems untrue or fabricated then time to watch a movie.

There are so many new movies out there. Just one click from the Optik and you can order from the screen of the television. How nice eh? It's comfortable that way. I remember when I first arrived here in Canada in 1992 when my husband and I will drive to the nearest video store and rented videos or laser discs. There were thousands of movies to choose from that video store. We love watching movies wayback then, newly produced movies are watched at the big cinema and missed movies are rented to view on Betamax, DVD, or laser disc machine. That at one time we ordered a Moviechannel that broadcast a non-stop movie viewing 24 hours/day. It's cheaper that way. That's amazing right? Then it becomes boring because the channel featured the same kind of movies over again and again. This time TELUS has that Optik TV that leads you to rent or order any movies you want to watch at anytime, however don't over do it because you can get addictive to their buttons. Don't just press buttons because you want to watch such movies because every movie has a price. Yup. Every rented movie has a price tag. The price range: $6/movie for newly released movie and you can watch it for two days. They are movies that been watched in the cinema by millions of  movie-watchers and been shown at the cinema after 6 months or years, meaning previously been watched by at least hundred millions of people.  There's that movie that you can rent for just $2/movie or $1/movie (special offers).

Anyway, it's MOVIE TIME: How about 400 DAYS?

400 DAYS of Mystery & Suspense: Starring Brandon Routh (Superman), Caitlyn Lotz, Ben Feldman (star of Superstore), Dane Cook,  Tom Cavanagh (star of FLASH), Grant Bowler.

The Story: Four astronauts (3 adult men and 1 adult woman) were chosen to board the "ship" to do the simulation test for 400 Days. The make-believe space ship was located underground provided with air and oxygen to breath and certain specified diet food to have for their daily  meals until one by one used their own body fluids called urine for their drinking fluids. Although the space ship is clean, sanitized and well taken care of there were too many problems that arised from their stay-in simulation. 400 days seem endless because only 4 of them have to converse, play cards, and do whatever it takes to keep themselves busy while they wait for 400 days end time game.

400 Days is equivalent to ONE YEAR & 35 days. LONG, LONG, LONG DAYS counting! Shocking! Who could live under the ground without communication with the outside world? With tele-communication in the  outside world force or  communication with their families or friends through computer there's a possibility that everyone could survive the ordeal. Then suddenly what happened if there's no electricity and the air no longer passes through the tube for the 4 astronauts to survive? What could cut off the simulation process?

The movie is not terrible and it's not that bad. Their acting is quite impressive for their roles or parts. Their sense of shock is believable.  If you like the man who portrayed the SUPERMAN in one of the famous Superman movie then you would like to watch this movie. Looks like there's a sequel for this movie.

400 DAYS TIME-LOCKED?

Clothing

Who would have thought I'm wearing tops from Costco? Yup, the blouse above in fuschia red and royal blue colored tops are bought from Costco. I like the combination of 98%  cotton and 2% spandex of the fabric used in the making of these tops by Dalia. The trendy blouse is fashionable, simple, and comfortable. You can wear this type of clothing at springtime, summer time  and even on winter. The fuschia red skirt and black square pants are sewn by me.

The style of the tops is good for two occasions: casual or formal. Well, it depends on what kind of clothing you have to wear to match it in favor of pair of pants, cullottes, skirt, pedal, shorts, whatever it is and how you have chosen to be perceived. Clothing makes a human to be respected and valued. Better seen with clothes wrapped around your body than without clothes. Naked and afraid is not a way to humanity and civilized world.

Are People Humans? Are Humans People?

Do you think it's great to be a farmer? Owned a huge tract of land and have all the necessary tools and modern machines to cultivate the land and used the latest of the farming methods allowed by the government and then harvest the fruit of your labor at the best possible outcome with flying colors.

Long time ago farmers are hailed as heroes because of the tremendous amount of their produce at harvest time. They helped the economy when it comes to providing agricultural products wherein first and foremost the whole country benefit from the yields of their agri-farm.

God almighty also valued the farmers, the farm workers and the yields of their bounty harvest. Thanksgiving day supposedly not to be celebrated at one day or once a year but every time there's a golden harvest.

Agricultural products are the most sought after in the market everyday. That's why the stock exchange also have the agri-products on GNP of every country and their price index goes up on large scale especially because humans, billions of humans are benefited from these products. Even robots and machines are benefited from this source of income. If you don't eat you are not humans, you are not people!

Getting fat? It's better to be fat than look sickly, anorexic and have zombie-like features. Whatever suits your taste. It's better to be positive than being negative.

Life has value, and every human on earth is important in the web of life. Are you human? What to do with people? Some people I know hate people because when pronounced,  people could be "pee poll." Or fee pole? LOL.

What The 5th WAVE Means?

What's really the BIGGEST PROBLEM in Canada? HOMELESSNESS is a huge problem in Canada! Hard to believe there are so many of us looking for decent affordable homes. You know houses that are not over fifty years old, not over thirty years old. Some of us would like to live in houses without moldy roof top or moldy walls. Most of the houses are worth millions of dollars in Vancouver mainland wherein some of them it's not worth staying or living because they are "health hazard." Who wants to live in century old houses? Infested by termites, cockroaches and other unknown bugs? Houses that were there built during World War II. For God sake how many people would like to live in good homes with good  clean water safe for drinking and bathing. It's not about people have no money but there are not many homes that are sanitary enough to live.

In the island, right here at the island where there are too many empty newly built-houses where nobody can afford because they are worth half-million dollars. Who is here  paid or earning wages $50/hour? Are the politicians paid $50/hour for their work to sit on their ass and do nothing? What a lovely job! Everyone wants a job like that. I think they are paid over $50/hour for such respectable work. Everyone should be a politician and the rest should be lobbyists or lobbies.

Let say you bought half million dollars worth of house. Maintenance of such house could be very expensive, include all the utilities expenses, food,  hydro, etc. You must have to earn at least $100,000/annum. Look, you can't afford such house even if you are a PR Manager, journalist at CBC News Network. Mr. McDuffy can't afford to pay his house, what do you think an ordinary person with minimum wage can? You can probably afford an expensive house like that if you are a doctor. Thus, only if you have at least 100 patients who arrive at your clinic everyday. Or a druggie probably have the right amount of money to pay to live in expensive houses. Only them can afford great housing.

Some PMs can't afford to own their homes that's why it's the taxpayers paying for their homes. RIGHT? Thanks TAXPAYERS!!!!!!!!! You deserve the best homes actually. Do I pay taxes in Canada? I PAY TAX EVERYTIME I GO SHOPPING IN CANADA. ALL THE PRODUCTS HERE HAVE TAXES. Just the tax alone provided BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN REVENUE. You bought a new car and the government received the tax right immediately. That's swift justice. You bought a house you already paid for half year wages for one politician for such tax imposed. That's how important tax is. While I report this valuable info, another worker waits for this and he is paid for it and I'm not. I have the BRAIN and they don't have they just have the patience to wait and they are paid. How nice! Another politician copied all my plans, all my blogs  and he graduated with honors in ECONOMICS. Thanks! Congratulations you have masters in Economics now. Your conscience will bother you from now onward.

Wish that the GOVERNMENT can build government housing (3 bedroom houses with 2 bathrooms) and it's not for welfare recipients, it's for business where people, Canadian taxpayers will have to pay their rents. TAXPAYERS paying RENT. Government officials are paid by taxpayers have to pay these people to plan, work for these people. This kind of urban planning was done before they can try again because I might end up homeless and we might have the 5TH WAVE FOR REAL. For welfare recipients in Fort McMurray, the more that these people need the help. If I myself can't find a decent house no one can afford such decent house in the most modern, urbanized high standard of living in Canada. Toxicity? It's affecting me already.

While some people are happy giving wedgies to those they can bully as usual bullying is really rampant here in Canada and the US. Why? I haven't seen the platoons of Canadian ARMY and NAVY in Canada. Where are they? ARE THEY ALIVE?  Can we call those thousands of platoons so that they will taste the aroma of VIETNAM? In Canada? You don't want it to happen that's why you have to warn government officials that they have to do their work properly. It's no laughing matter what's happening here in Canada. You can do your yoga and laughed as if you are the most loved person on earth but it's not true. You can give that job to Clarkson.

Do You Have Immunity?

When sometimes a very clean house doesn't mean you wont get sick. Clean, sanitized house doesn't guarantee that you are immune to bugs and virus. Actually humans are people, every individual is  not that strong enough to very strong disinfectant or chemicals mixed in with cleaning soap, detergents or cleaning ingredients. Chemicals have strong scents that are too heavy to be inhaled by humans, strong enough to kill germs, bugs and virus. Humans get affected too from strong scents or odor that circulate on the air; because humans breathe air (oxygen) every seconds of the day. The risk of airborne.

Over cleaning can do more harm than good. Breathing problems? Respiratory problems? Asthma? That sometimes it's best to use simple cleaning products. Industrialized product that is too concentrated is harmful that you have to add extra water to whatever formula in such cleaning liquid solution.

Everyday, cleaning the house with certain simple solution of proven effective commercialized product that you seen on TV and promoted to public can do more risk if used almost everyday. However you don't know what you are allergic  into something until you used such product for household cleaning. I was not bother with "Sunlight" dishwashing liquid before but now they have that too strong scent that can make me dizzy. I think it's best to use Palmolive instead. Or use hand gloves and face mask when using the cleaning products.

Right now, I'm sneezing, having colds, runny nose, I feel so sick. The weather contribute too because in the morning it's cold, then the temperature goes up, hour by hour the temperature keeps changing from cold to hot. Outside our fence at the backyard are the many wild flowers, dandelions, queen anne's lace, wild chives, scotch brooms, and other unknown plants with flowers and these flowers will soon dry out and the wind will carry them one by one and will cause toxicity to the air.

Anyway, take care people and stay away from the cause of disturbance and stay away from chemicals especially during summer time when bugs are stronger.

I have notes in my journal and I don't know if I will transfer the message here at my blog. I'm too angry to blog something good and my readers might think that this blog is about hatred and musings of nonsense. I could only just say in plain words... I'm only human! I am emotional, sensitive and when I'm mad with "some people that are unprofessional with their work" I feel obligated to report their wrongdoings.

However, due to my forgiving character of being so kind I will let this pass for a while and let God avenge me and you know that when the true real God gets mad then you get something you wont expect in real life. Karma!

I don't know if I will have to return the enchanted pachyderm on my blog for my template. You know what? I took it out for a while just to know that it's not that elephant that's causing all the SHOW & NO SHOW for the house. I was thinking that's the reason why the house is for sale after the agreement made to Lucky has been made last year.

Well, I'm so pissed off really because the house here is becoming a SHOWhouse. I thought the pachyderm is the cause of such show like as in the CIRCUS.

Anyway, so pissed that I told that man it is better for "those curious" to see the house everyday for their own curiosity sake.

This time I think the BUTTONS proved that there are people so annoying that they want to know the buttons here and where it is located. I think they don't have buttons of their own. Please touch your NOSE and push it. You can pull your nose too for your own happiness. Ang babaw ng kaligayahan ng mga ito!!!!!!

Sometimes, I would like to yell at L that he is being a pushover. He is busy at work and when he comes home he does work at home. I work at home everyday without pay. If the curious people will come here everyday to this SHOWHOUSE  those realtors should at least pay me for the effort of cleaning the house and for the cleaning supply. $100 cleaning supply/month would be appropriate. Look I can't concentrate on my blogs anymore because of this SHOWING tasks of these "respected, responsible realtors." Can I have my own security guards and the platoons of ARMY & NAVY   so that we can do the inspections of these realtors?

I don't mind if they leave their business cards so that I can know them better that their work is what they really sell or they really work at such business establishments. Being pretty or beautiful is not a matter of you can pass because the more that I will think that your motive and purpose is not about realty. Am I being judgmental or what?

I have seen so many of such technique in the pass. I saw so many movies, television series including FBI series wherein the good looking people are the most notorious in getting away with it. However, better think twice. Leave the "benefit of the doubt* just like looking and staring at leaves on this image down below. You wont know the inner beauty of leaves under you see them under the microscope. You wont know those lively plants under the sea until you digested them that they are sea animals not plants. I hope they are not toxic or flesh-eating toxic sea animals. Hope and pray "they" are not toxic.

Problem is they can't decide what buttons for Amazing Race , buttons for the Voice, Buttons for American idol, buttons for Canadian idol. You are looking for buttons here? WEIRD! BUY YOUR OWN TV!

So,  there will be another SHOW tomorrow. So glad I can still cook eh? I think I'm being a martyr here in this SHOWHOUSE case. For God sake when will it ends? Every year there is a SHOWHOUSE. I should name my blog SHOWHOUSE. I pray for the immediate pooling rather fooling around done by these people. Nakakasuka na. I once joked that maybe they never seen the house in a "dirty mode" so maybe it's best to trash down the house in so much filth and they wont bother dropping by at the house.

Buttons? Red buttons, blue buttons. For God sake, everyday there's that individual looking for the buttons. People, group of people, politicians, advertisers, cook, photographers, buyers, sellers always looking for buttons. Why the buttons?

Pressing buttons...what to push?

Mouse has button. Cars, trucks and other automobiles have buttons, all electronic gadgets small and big have buttons. Trains, airplanes, cellphones and computers have buttons. Your TV and radios have buttons. The stove and oven have buttons including fridge or refrigerators.

Buttons, buttons keep pushing, keep pressing buttons.

I think humans are really not perfect because humans are pushover. You should work for the telephone company or elevator.

Thinking Is A Human Endeavour

 Husband and I bought a small plastic box of fresh blueberries at Costco. Sure, their blueberries are bigger and fresher  than normal. I baked a blueberry-banana loaf bread as shown on the photo image above. The bread looks crunchy on top that I pulled a piece of it, later I saw my son took a piece from that bread too. You know that when the bread is hot  it looks delicious and better be the one to get and eat it right away.

 I think we seldom have wraps that sometimes chicken fajitas taste better once in a month. Fajita is a Mexican food and I'm a Filipina so we usually have Filipino food at home. Husband is natural born Canadian and my children are Canadians (they were born here in Canada), most of the time we eat Canadian cuisine, Western food and some Spanish food. Nothing's wrong with Mexican food. I like burritos once in a while but really better eat something that I have specialty in cooking such cuisine right? Or else it would always be a clash on ingredients and flavor.

Anyway, settle for something that you can cook for only few minutes or less than 30 minutes. Pizza answers to that less than 30 minute food-grab and instant chicken noodles, add other simple ingredients like veggies and pouched eggs.

Being lazy is not my kind, however when I'm busy housecleaning there are wise options to take.

The price of gas went up! The media called it Gas Hike. Long line up of drivers with their vehicles at Costco where the price of gas is cheaper compared from other gas stations.

Pray for the Fort McMurray residents who started their "re-entry" return to their homes, most of them shocked at what's left behind after the inevitable evil wildfire that destroyed thousands upon thousands of houses and business establishments. It will be a long recovery for them.  There's that awful sayings, " manakawan ka na, wag lang masunugan." Still is that's bad and worse to be a victim of thieves and wildfire.

"Thinking is behaving weakly," according to the book that I read the other day. Really? THINKING? Think when others do it already. Whatever! Are they successful?

Wisecrackers

Wisecrackers for a cracker? It is what it is in the label. This cracker is one of the best crackers I ever tasted.

It is thin, crispy, delicious to the last bite. One cracker bite, get another cracker again and again. You will always come back for more.

Thank God this cracker is low fat.
