ASK ME! Oopss! My blog is not available for any commentary, opinions and reviews. I can perceive whatever you ask or whatever is inside your mind I will tell you and will answer such inquiries. I'm not a psychic. I think we are in the same constellation where our minds meet and think alike. Just as when I'm typing the word "psychic" the glass of half-full pop just moved and the cube of ice breaks with the sound of melt. Huh!? Strange! Oh my God! That is so weird. Coincidence. It reminds me of the Quija board we once played with my siblings way back in the 60's.

The snow on the ground has melted which is good. Drivers are happy. It's January for God sake and the heather's are blooming outside on the front yard garden and young sprouts of daffodils almost out from the ground.

It's Monday and my daughter are looking forward to a new episode of  "The Good Doctor." The GIFTED tv series has finally ended and will return next season. Of course we are also a fan of the Murdoch Mysteries which is shown almost everyday on Channel 100 and sometimes at Channel 106. I think Murdoch Mysteries is a Canadian made series and the cast of characters are mostly Canadians.

When it comes to fake news? I don't know what is fake news nowadays. We rely on daily news from our television and news network and internet news. Whatever is featured on TV and in the internet all we can do is read, watch, listen and comprehend. News reporters rely on their sources of information without knowing whether the news are true or not, accurate or half truth that's why further investigations are made to do the right way of broadcasting. Even the FBI Agency are having problems with fake news because the sources of information are not reliable. So how could we find out if the sources of news are reliable? For God sake please leave the investigations to authorities. You don't have to stir and create more troubles to the troublesome world.

Snow White Has Returned!

When you think that Winter is followed by Spring, Snow White has returned to the Island. The Snow White without the seven dwarfs.

So what can I write here? Another snow white blanketed the grounds of the island of Vancouver and you bet so many people are unhappy. Why? First, because its cold and they don't feel like wearing thick clothing. They hate wearing thick coat and sweater. They hate wearing boots, mittens, gloves and toques. Some people do not like shoveling the snow on their doorways, parking spots and sidewalks.  The highways will be very slippery and if you are not careful in your driving you end up in accidents which we don't want to happen anyway. Nobody likes to jeopardize their health and the cold weather means fireplace will be on fire, more firewood to burn and heating expenses and heating bill goes up.

Anyway, do you like soup? Any kind of soup especially when it's hot is super duper good to have for breakfast. I know. My son loves Lipton soup or any Campbell soup to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have labored to cook something delicious and yet he would prefer the canned goods. Thank goodness, there was a caselot sale at Overwaitea (Save-On-Foods) days ago and my husband bought cases of canned goods. I don't need to cook then. Ha ha ha.

Well, that's what you think. My husband and daughter are not in favor of canned food. They love roast beef, roast chicken, prawns and shrimps. While I would prefer crabs and lobsters and if there's tuna or salmons I would like them too for dinner.

OMG! Robota!

I hope you know that it was Saturday yesterday and Sunday today. It's the 21st of January 2018 and if you are aware and awake that there are two days off for regular workers. Most of the government employees worked only for 5 days a week, unless of course if they are having overtime. Most of the government offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday except the parks and museums and other departments of the government that stays open whenever there is a "situation" that needs redone on such particular time.

What establishments are open most of the time whether its holidays whatever time is? I think jail is open for criminals every time and they are locked in so that they can't offend anyone again.

The Church is open on Saturday and Sundays. The Churches in Philippines are open most of the time because the people who worship have the right of access most of the time.

Private companies are open whenever the owners want to. Department stores and malls are open for public, for their customers and clients.

So many hardworking workers who worked so much and so hard in their lifetime that they forgot that there are "rest days" allowed for them to think that there are "off days." Their off days or rest days are not paid and they should go back home and return on Monday regular hours of work.

So why some workers worked so much in the first place and stand by at their workplace even if they are on off days? OMG! Why oh, why?

Are the workplace air-conditioned and computers abound? It's not that they are trying to be workaholic or what but maybe they have the right to be in a workplace with air-con and privilege to use computers to their advantage. You know computers should be in a very cool place or if gets heated then there's a tendency that it will malfunction or gets hacked. Computers are spoiled brats you know. Robots have the same kind of attentive and maintenance care.

The Media, The PR Consultant, The Leaders & Followers

I'm not an upstart! I'm not social and I am not sociable!! Like most of blogwriters out there especially in the BLOGGER blogsite not too many like us are sociable. Like most writers: Stephen King, JK Rowling, Wilbur Smith, Dan Brown and the many highly popular, well respected writers they are not what you call "sociable." As much as possible they don't like being seen or socialize with others. They are not outdoorsy, they are introverts and they wont tell you their whereabouts. They wont tell you what they eat or drink. Their hideouts are considered private. They only come out when the BOOK is ready!

However, when you are known as fashion outfitter or product tester for clothing and accessories, brand name shoes, designer bags, and cosmetics you must be seen and photographed almost everyday. Photographs can do wonders. Photoshopped can do wonders and magic. You will only looked like mannequins without pimples, skin tags, no moles, no wrinkles, like mannequins that can be attached or parts re-attached to stand or in a sitting position. Transformer? More than a transformer? Not really.  Do you really have time to blog? Unless of course the company you work for has special writers that cater to your needs. There are certain people who organize your entire "closets" and PR Manager that answer all the questions and inquiries by your loyal readers. These hired PR consultant knew what to do. They can stop and hinder what's comes in and out without the need for the models to encounter unkindness and controversial issues. They don't need to answer personally what is being thrown at them and those models wont land on hot water. It seems that their "protection" is better than what politicians get in day to day battle with the Media. So if the PR manager/consultant is doing a great job in building the beautiful rapport of pleasantries within the entire package, the finance of such product and production only goes to the PR Manager/Consultant. It's a "fake made up publicity stunt." After you've been photographed with all the new glitzy fashionable clothes you can GO and hopefully you are paid. Or the company could be paying you with the clothing and accessories you already worn and used during the photography or pictorial. Or you could be the owner of such product you sponsored or endorsed. How nice!

You don't get much of such massive PR management at the White House. When the Media attacked the White House and the people inside it the President gets the hot water most of the time. Then one by one somebody is being fired or terminated. So, how powerful is the MEDIA? The media is powerful by the amount of financial aid they received from donors. Who are their donors? What are their motives and agenda? Whatever! I don't care. It's the battle between people with lots of money. But they are not as powerful as GOD. OMG! In GOD WE TRUST!

The FREEDOM IS SPEECH is an individual's right. It's the special rights of all the people on planet Earth. Human beings can speak and allowed to speak. Animals cannot speak or talk so to speak is a fundamental right of human beings.Talk whoever can talk. Write whoever can write. Paint whoever can paint and back to the drawing board.

The Backyard

 Snow covered backyard. We didn't really get much snow coverings this time of the year. I mean at winter time when it's supposed to be colder than usual because of the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Then I realized South Korea is really way too far from our place.  Thousand miles and miles away. LOL. Whatever! Compared from last year's snowfall which you probably had noticed and observed that heavy snow, tons upon tons of snow were dumped on this part of the earth.

I don't really know if we have to blame the global warming as the cause of lesser snowfall this year. It's good that we don't have to shovel the snow or you wont have problem driving on snow covered highways and streets. Less burden for the city government workers to plow the snow, less work for them.

Then the awful snow melted.

Here's the awful site of the backyard's woodsland... watery pond and I think there are few more logs down there probably the beavers did it again on expanding their horizon. Few more days in the future we'll be listening to the fiery  sound of toads and frogs and maybe other creatures.  I hope and pray no creepy creatures out there.

Work With Pay! Work With Experience!

Certification is nothing when you cannot apply your skills at hand. Demotion is the word or be terminated from the job you are certified to do. So many workers who cling on to their certificates, seemed valid as shown they are graduates of prestigious Universities but when asked on how they can do their job meaningful and productive they have problems with and the "application" of such skills the more problematic employers are because these people with certificates lack the necessary skills to prove their worth.

Experience is the best teacher. Theories are nothing but theories only! Books are full of  theories and you cannot bring your books at work and read them first before proceeding for work. Skills on doing the work properly, diligently and doing the work alone without the need for assistance. In other words, employers would like to see workers doing the work without the need to train them. To train them at the actual workplace is extra work and budget for the employer. That's not how it's being done in the workplace. The employers want the experienced worker who can work diligently with much enthusiasm, prepared for work wasting no time, work professionally as required and make sure they can perform perfectly in their chosen field of work and hopefully the business can maximize profit. Business for profit! A business without profit is a non-profit charitable organization where workers called volunteers are not paid.

In other words:

Training costs a lot of money. Employers and the company who will hire workers do not want to spend extra cost of financial burden teaching workers to do their work. You must have valid experience not only one but you must be equipped with variety of  skills to prove that you a  valuable worker for every company who wants to hire you.

That's why OJT or "On The Job Training" is a must and must be paid by the workers without valid experience to gain experience and it's for their own good. The University supposedly should be the one who should implement and emphasize the need for OJT before they graduate instead of the company giving the newly acquired workers to be trained. However, really it's about apprenticeship is the main concern of such employers and companies. I wonder what companies have the huge budget for such training of workers. Hm, the military: the ARMY, Marines,  the NAVY, the QUANTICO, the Police Academy. Fill your biodata or comprehensive resume with several skills and experiences that will help you land the job that you expect and wish for.

Watch and Learn. Watch and Learn is the normal way of the acquisition of skills and knowledge. For the writers? Beware of copyright's infringement. Beware of plagiarism and beware of stealing valued confidential information.

Mostly Purses

Do you like purses? I love different unique kind of purses. I have a collection of purses and bags: totes, handbags, shoulder bags and at one time when I was in the mood trying to create bags of all types because I have the necessary textiles to make it happen. However, the notions and accessories to make them become unaffordable and I stopped.

The above photograph are purses I had since I was single. The second row clutch bags I bought when I was already married and the red cute bag with faux pearls handle was given to me by my sister-in-law. I have more bags  and purses to show but some of them are inside the boxes in the garage and haven't touch them or unload since we moved to this house.

I'm hoping that there'll be a time when I can have the right time and right amount of budget for such kind of hobby, sewing and creating more purses and handbags.

I know you have collections too to showcase your purses, your favorite handbags and totes. Maybe your collection is more expensive and designer bags more costly than your vehicle. And if your bags and purses are more expensive than your car...I don't know what to say.

Unless of course your purse can transform into a super powered vehicle.

LOUIS VUITTON attache case can transform itself into a powershield, computer,  umbrella, a sonar and radar with GPS satellite devices.  Oh my! How large and long  a purse string would be to keep everything in order?

Enough Porky. Enough Beef.

TILAPIA! OMG! With all the chunks of pork and beef for the past holidays who wont be happy when fish is served on the table.

If only all the waves will bring schools of fish of different species on the shore. You don't need to go fishing, nor reel in your fishing gear, no more boating to get into the farthest part of the deep blue sea, no need to lure, no use of purse string or whatever baits you have there is needed... just let those fish, variety of fish jump over the sandy shore and we'll be happy to catch them by bare hands.

Wavy Waves

When suddenly all at once you have plenty of ideas then within a glance all those ideas are gone! Vanished to nowhere. When suddenly your perfect memory is gone and you don't know what to do.

Will you be in panic mode? Will you be very upset or when memory is loss, right there there's that feeling of nothingness. A situation that most of us has no power to control as if our minds are in limbo.

Maybe the people around us will notice what's happening but they cannot determine what is really the true situation or perhaps they also have no power to control the situation or they are powerless to something that they cannot understand.

Is that what we call dementia? Or the alzheimers that debilitating illness of the olds. How many times I read through many articles in magazines, newspapers, blogs, and news network broadcasting and interviewed celebrities whose family members are struggling to cope up with dementia or alzheimers. They have a deep-seated roots of battle in the larger than life silver screen and gross battle in true life situation.

Not that it is inherited or somebody who has problem with dementia will have the same problem as their parents, brothers or sisters or any among the clans.

The wave of newcomers are coming without our control because we are part of that makes it happen. It happened before during the times of Christ when the Romans came to uplift them economically, politically and in matter of times, they were salvaged, brutally disfranchised in a manner of overwhelming proportion that there is power in numbers. The Cro-Magnons had it coming when new breed of Vikings came into order. But before that, the Java men and Peking men were wiped out. The entire ancient men vanished out of nowhere. The Mayans, the Etruscans, the old civilizations were then wiped out, no life survive except those who are the strongest, mightiest, the bravest of them all with high powerful weapons. EVOLUTION had a chance to challenge each and everyone of us that human beings evolved. We thought we are the new generation already perfect but it seems perfection is just an illusion and perfection can only be achieved in those new kind of wave. I don't know what else is the NEW WAVE they are after. I know there is once a crazy dance called the "new wave." The new wave music and all those highs and lows, the movements of water on the ocean. The WAVE of the soldiers, the new wave or influx of population to populate another place. There's that new wave... of aliens and are they all green? Perhaps they are orange and blue? Could be the wave of the market stocks to affect the economy. Who knows what tomorrow brings? But I know who keep peeping in my draft mode blog. OMG! kahit hindi ko ipost ang blog composition ko merong naninilip para maipasa sa iba ang blog post ko for tomorrow. What if I post it now? Feeling siguro nila may ESP sila.

Is that what caused somebody's trouble and dementia has crippled his senses? He was called lunatic and crazy. What if that person don't care what you'll become in the next 24 hours because somebody out there is just as lunatic as the one you are bullying for the last 2 years? Now what? bullying and racism is such a broad term that needs good reason and explanation. One has to correct a mistake one from the other. In blogging...maraming copycats. Maraming iba ang reasoning at maraming pakialemera at higit sa lahat maraming hackers.

What's Next Wave?

The Seventh Day of January 2018

 Our xmas tree was out before the feast of the 3 kings and before the dry needles > leaves fall out of ying-yang on the floor. Hours later while the tree was down on the snowy ground I noticed those foot marks. Footprints made by cats or maybe chipmunk or could be raccoon.

There are footprints also on the snowy ground at the front yard so it could be made by the neighbor's cats. We bought another container of whiskas, chicken flavor for those two cats who frequently drop by to see my husband. One of the cats, Freddie's brother begged for more whiskas and he was there at a very early morning on a cold snowy weather, right in front of our door. He stays there by himself or sometimes Freddie joins him. Every time I opened the front door, the cat is there or sitting on the patio chair. How could these cats aren't afraid of extreme cold? Okay, that's lame question. It's just that their fur is not as thick as bear's fur.


Speaking of bears they are probably in hibernation already. Haven't seen any bear at the forest or along the woody area within the surrounding we are in.

Anyway, today is the celebration of the feast for the Saint of Lourdes France. Happy birthday Saint Bernadette Soubirous! May your kindness, compassion, faith and humility inspire many human beings in this world. God bless you and God bless us.

The Gifts & The Gifted

What can I say? I think am the happiest this Christmas because of the gifts that I received and the gifts that I expected. You know when a time when I was unhappy of the presents that were given to me because I can't do anything with it or not what I really like or simply it's not my first priority. This time the gifts that I received are mostly prioritized and I can use them wisely and effortless. I wished what those people given with  gifts also were happy or happier than me. I could laugh out loud at the top of my lungs right now.

A cute, chubby puppy would be nice. A pomeranian chubby like a ball or a hairy shih tzu so that we can go for a walk. But it's okay. Enough, I told myself I am so happy right now that I found the right pairs of shoes. Yey! How many pairs of shoes I should have to find the accurate ones; but I did able to have found the right proper, accurate shoes and the price is just right!

Goodbye 2017. Hello 2018!

Hello and goodbye! Welcome Year 2018. Time is passing by us so swiftly and smoothly. Imagine it's now January 2018.

The pictures above is me of course and my dearest family. We have few complete family portraits when my children were at the age when they love being photographed now at this point in time when nobody seems to like a family photos or portraits whatever. My husband doesn't like being photographed unless if its a studio-type pictorial. It's okay. I was like that before. My reluctance to not being photographed when I was very young because I was not confident enough of the photographer capturing the best of me as reflected in pictures or photographs. That the result of photographs were either blurry or my fair complexion has turned dark. I am not dark. Maybe brown when I spent too much time at the beach or spent a week of sunbathing at the golf course or if I dyed my hair black and then the dye was washed away and affected my skin color. Whatever! I am not ashamed of my skin color. I am from the Brown Race. My parents are Filipinos, my husband is 100% White Canadian and my children have our DNA and RNA.

It's now the 1st of January and what to celebrate on this beautiful month? Birthdays and Anniversaries + 3 Kings, Celebration of the Saints, etc. Have a blessed, prosperous, HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!
