Happy Chinese New Year!

Traditionally NEW YEAR is on the first day of January. Then fireworks symbolized  the beginning of the New Year so that it's loud, clear, and lively. It's the beginning of the new life, happy, wonderful, beautiful and prosperous. Then once again New Year is celebrated according to the zodiac sign (animal logo and animal characterized the presentation of such very special year), a bright new lunar beginning symbolized with more fireworks, abundance of food, floral and fruits festival. Why is it? There are three calendar years being followed. Gregorian-roman calendar, Jewish calendar and Chinese calendar. Thank God, we don't follow the Aztec calendar anymore. Long time ago, our ancestors followed the Aztec calendar and every year they had offering of sacrifices being thrown at the mouth of the raging fire of volcano.

What calendar we have to follow so that the demons in this world will go away?

We had fireworks here in Canada when the clock struck 12 midnight for the New Year 2017. You probably cheered on and jumped. You probably held on to your coins in your pocket and you were wearing polka dots shirt, pants and skirts? You had thrown fire crackers on the ground and had enough feast of great food on the table. You are Chinese! If you follow such tradition you are probably from a Chinese family, clan and at least your blood is tinted with Chinese blood.

At the time of Jesus, there were only 3 known human source of genes. It's either your family belongs to or originally from the tribes of the Israel (Jewish)(White Race) , China (Chinese)(Yellow race), Egypt (Egyptians)(Dark race).

Only from these three known tribes. The population of people grew and grew because of inter-racial marriages. There are billions of Chinese in our world. Their dominance when it comes to population is overwhelming that segregation is emphasized and followed during the 1900's. At this point in time, Chinese couples are allowed to only have one or two children. In the 1900's the smart Chinese people "subdivided" themselves, they became Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Filipinos. Why? They have to produce more than two children.

Then year 2000 happened. It's not the 1900's. What became of these smart intelligent people? Well, people you have to be an intelligent historian to find that out.

Anyway, it's year 2017. Protect your Rooster! Protect the 2017 Rooster because majority of Earth people love " sperm eggs"  from the proverbial Rooster. Rooster giving the eggs to the special hens. Too many beautiful HENS waiting for those sperm eggs. How many ROOSTERs out there who are blessed with chicks? You think the Rooster laying eggs?

What comes first? Chicken or egg?

I don't know what happened at my Google + Views. After the last count of 812, 458 Views then it's gone! Why? Wow! So weird right? So unbelievable that Views count can be stolen. Where the thieves hid the views or what are they doing with those views count? Please tell me even if anonymously...

There are too many thieves in the internet. As a matter of fact my BLOGS were hacked by Wordpress users. I don't know those users because they blog anonymously. Huling-huli eh! I videotaped them.

I don't know why these "beings" like my blogs. There are too many interesting blogs out there. So many beautiful blogwriters and their blogs are superwonderful, they are too great to be hacked and their blogs are everything that you could have hacked, so I wonder why my blogs have to be hacked and stolen?

I LOVE MY BLOGS! Why don't you blog and make your own story. Why you have to choose my blog? For God sake hackers make up your mind.

It's For Entertainment!

Somebody said she is NASTY! Another woman said, "she will blow the White House!" Wow! That's shocking! Is she (that woman) high on drugs?

There is democracy in the U.S. A. that woman was not put to jail or prison. Or are they roasting the new President? Or was it because she is a very popular singer? Or because she has a reputation? She could be Madonna or the "double." Nobody could tell who is who. They could all be "doubles for the real ones."

Then I watched the WHITE HOUSE @ CBC News Channel. What's inside the White House. It was totally renovated since at the time after Pres. George W. Bush's tenure of office.

Every room has a giant portrait/painting of the past Presidents of the United States of America. The White House looks like a MUSEUM for the preservation of all the PRESIDENTS memoirs since Washington to Abraham Lincoln to the present President. Then former Pres. George W. Bush said that if something happened to the White House, his portrait/painting's on the wall...then he laughed and everyone laughed including Mrs. Laura Bush.

Right! Is there another Dolly Madison at the White House?

The best US President America could ever had. His sense of humor is one of a kind. Actually out of this world but everyone could laugh out loud because he is really funny. He worked so hard for the good government of America. Sad to say, he could have captured Bin laden instead and it should be under his government not at Obama's reign. You know...

So, if POWER BACK to the PEOPLE then VVE the People should employ the former Pres. George W. Bush again because I want to be entertained.

For The Greater Good

Every leader, every President or Prime Minister should have a "damage control party." They should have their own "Media People" as much as own a News Network.

That's the only way that they can be productive without the hustle and buzzle of negative news and negative information. NEGATIVE INFO is negative info!!!!!!!!

They should have the "fire department" every time there's a wildfire the firemen are always ready to put off the fire.

I think that's what happened during the Marcos Administration. Pres. Marcos did a lot of productive work, infrastructures of bigger and taller skyscrapers,  longer bridges, large dams and housing, plus schools and universities were built. All productive work because they have damage control. It's all for the good of all the GOOD PEOPLE!

Tell Me What Have You Done Lately?

Why Pres. Ferdinand Marcos's regime lasted for 20 years? Maybe even more? He could be the first and only Emperor in Philippines.

WE had a Philippine President that was not only very intelligent but the person in power for twenty years was a man of talent and intelligent skills. He was a soldier, lawyer, great orator, he is handsome, he is very smart, he authored books, and he is wealthy. His family belongs to a prominent family. Then the rumor of him who discovered the golden Yamashita treasures: gold bars and diamonds add up to his very interesting life.

Look, just being a lawyer can make anybody rich in Philippines. Even without those gold bars and diamonds, he was and  still very wealthy.

Being a President in Philippines and living in the Malacanang Palace with all the great benefits entitled for a great leader what can you ask for? He was the Commander-in-Chief. His security is overwhelming and he has control of the armed forces, tele-communications and PR Relations is strictly for the First Family and the many cronies. Cronies who are also wealthy and have businesses in Philippines and different parts of the world. ECONOMY under his administration was great! The best economy the country Philippines ever had (1US$ = P5 in that period of time) Is that great? It was great and it was good! Why? Employment. Millions of Filipinos were employed under Marcos administration in Philippines and abroad. He helped so many leaders around the world. He lent financial aids to these world leaders. He was very generous. These world leaders who are frequently visitors to the Palace as if the palace belong to them, used the Palace as their hotels and do not want to go home to their own lands. How long a man's wealth end up empty?

Then what happened after 20 years? Another PR relations and another tele-communication entered the Philippines governed by other countries. Infiltration set in. It's hard to determine who are true Filipinos from these new arrivals of "refugees." They speak the local language? Not 100% . There were flaws. You wont believe some of these refugees can communicate better in Tagalog. Hard to believe that eh? IT happened. You can speak another language maybe better than the locals and set your goals and to your priorities for as long as your goal and purpose in life is for GOD SAKE!

FOR GOD SAKE what is your purpose in life? Do you have ambition? Leaders and heroes are born and what have you done lately?

Power Back To The People?

I hope everyone understands the message of President Donald John Trump at his Presidential Inauguration this morning in Washington, DC.

 CONGRATULATIONS President TRUMP!

I think you should know the English language to better understand the message.

There is nothing wrong with his message. He is patriotic and he seems to be protective of his country United States of America. Every leader should be like him when it comes to "prioritizing what is important for his country (America) and his people ( Americans). It's normal, natural thing to do for Pres. Trump to do his duty and obligation as much as his responsibility. You don't have to be a rocket scientist not to understand a leader's aim and goals when it comes to ECONOMY. His priority is the ECONOMY.

It's the same thing that we the people here in Canada would like the Prime Minister of Canada to prioritize the importance of the needs of Canadian people first! CANADA FIRST and its people, PM Trudeau.

Because it's the right thing to do! Do we have interpreters for that kind of loyalty? Because if your leader owed and pledged allegiance to another flag, another country and another citizens of another country you can be a "candidate for treason."

About borders or wall? Canada and the USA is in a "landlocked situation." British Columbia's upper North border is Alaska then Southern border line is the Seattle. Is there a problem at the border? The problem is when you don't follow the rules and regulations. Watch BORDER SECURITY TV Show and you'll find out that  the Canadian Border Security is more stricter than Americans. But that's great because when the security guards are strict then we are all safe and secured.

Now power back to the people? What will the people do? Are they righteous? Righteous people, good people do not join a movement towards violence. Righteous and good people only join  movements towards peace and progress!

If the protest and rally is illegal and constitute to harm, uncontrollable and panic that its purpose is to dismantle a united, peaceful and order arrangement of things then these people are not righteous. They are BAD PEOPLE or people used to infiltrate and maybe part of the "PURGE and CULT MOVEMENT." Think and do no harm nor attend or join a rally that will result to injury, accidents or death. If it leads to harm then probably there are people who are in search of organ donors. Please don't be a part of violence. Don't be  part of suffering, cult  and sacrifices.

Id, Ego and Superego

Don't you love being called egoist? Or heard from somebody that you have a big ego? Don't worry because ego is part of your life. Actually ego is something that makes you complete.

Everyone has ego. Tell me of somebody without ego?

Let me first tell you about ID.
Id. What is an Id? Is it an identity? It identifies the bearer of personality?

According to Dr. Sigmund Freud,  Id is the untamed passion. It is the original core and all personality emerges from it.

Now what happened to ego? Ego is the external reality of your personality. It serves the id's repeated demands. It protects the id. It has the task to protect and insures your own health, sanity, and well-being. With ego you are self-aware about the stimuli that are coming towards you. Ego is the one that defends and balance your personality. It has a defense mechanism to block any obstruction against your Id. Most of all Ego has the  power to stand for reason and good sense.

Superego is part of the structure of Ego. This is the judge, sensor over activities, thoughts of the ego and moral code is  implemented. It's about consciousness, ideals and self-awareness and self-observation. Superego makes you a keen observant and with superego you are more sensitive and your sixth sense is working to the fulfillment of  a goal.

Now which do you prefer to use more than ever? Id, Ego or Superego?

Be a complete human being, have an ego!

NOBODY likes Sigmund Freud. He was a psychiatrist, psychic and a very intelligent human being. In his time when a human being with a high IQ just like Sigmund Freud people always looked at that human as either sorcerer, evil or witch. The ancient people especially the uneducated and poor always tend to create a big stir, they created so much havoc and burned these intelligent humans at the stake. In our time, do we have poorly uneducated people in our time?

Let There'll Be Light and Flash

 I bought this gorgeous blouse from Ricki's. Although it's over-sized gotta to have it and pay for it right immediately. It was the only and last stock, nothing else. I could ask for another size like a medium size perhaps but that's the only one available.

Notice that the color of the blouse is more prominent, vibrant and brighter on the above photo image. The importance of light and flash of the camera is the factor for better image of photograph.

Then what happened here? The photo image of the blouse is blurred, gloomy, looked old. There is presence of light but I didn't use flash when I snapped the image. I used Sony digital camera not Canon.

I think Canon digital camera is better when it comes to photography. Quality is what CANON is known for.

Last night, I was thinking about what I have viewed on THE FLASH television series. You probably watched last night's episode of The Flash. Barry Allen is the fastest man alive and he is the lead character in the series. There was that old Flash and he needs help from Flash (Barry) which you know that Barry is a good man, always righteous. Then here comes Wally who just suddenly arrived into the story to make the story complicated or what? Wally was so ambitious, proud, and trying to be just like Flash. Why? Why not Wally just do his own thing not overpowering or taking over somebody's lead? Is it a competition? Or it's a race issue? Is that what calls for the story? Race or color issue? Is Barry boring? I don't think he is boring. What is boring is his affection for Iris. Give Barry a new gorgeous, sexy, photogenic  girlfriend. Maybe sign up stars such as: Victoria Justice, Elizabeth Henstridge, Jade West of Victorious, Victoria Song, hire new starlets or a newcomer maybe there's a new star that can act and better be even if somebody doesn't talk but her presence lights up the screen. Look at ICE FANTASY. I don't understand their Mandarin but their presence on the screen are enough for us to watch it every night at 10 pm. Look at Ziva of NCIS, without Ziva at NCIS it's the end of watching that TV series.

Let say blogging is a competition and somebody wants to be ahead of my blogs (which I don't intend to compete with anybody) I like to compete with myself not with anybody else. Blogger Google is about being fast. Really? Are you sure? Who can be faster and what is the stake? Is it about rockets and rocketship again? No one is faster than a speed of light and you can't be faster than me or you are probably dead and your spirit is out there in limbo.

What To Do With Hackers?

How about a ham and egg omelette for breakfast, bagels and coffee? That's our breakfast for a change. You know that I would rather have a simple breakfast of just cup of coffee not because I'm on a diet but because I am not able to taste food properly as of now. Worse colds ever.

I told you before that my family used too much paper towel, bathroom tissue and boxes of tissue are not enough. Many families are probably using these day to day products.  I wish the price of these products: paper towels, bathroom tissues, facial tissues will be lowered because if its in demand the normal regular price should not be that pricey. It's the law of demand and supply remember?

What topic for today? Any suggestion? How about hackers in the internet? Who are they and what is their true aim in life? Are they considered armed and dangerous?

We know that Snowden was a hacker as portrayed by television media and his life story was filmed and Gordon Levitt portrayed his life in the movie "Snowden." What's wrong with Snowden anyway? He worked for NSA, he was once a soldier and worked for CIA? Then suddenly he became a hacker and revealed what's wrong with the company he worked for. Yeah, many hackers now and some of these hackers are too proud of stealing information from other people. Is that great? Answer is NO. These people has special skills of STEALING information. They are THIEVES. They don't know how to make a living in a good decent way. What else could these hackers are doing aside from stealing information? They probably had stolen bank accounts and your pin numbers and passwords to all your accounts and they live in other countries, hiding with all the wealth they had stolen from different people. In the SNOWDEN movie he had bouts with epileptic seizures of some kind what could be? Overworked/ Over fatigue? He seems to look like in poverty not showing he had the money or he was just being used by the "masterminds" to accumulate data and then those hideous people are the ones having fun in the Caribbean, in Belize, in Cayman. etc in other countries where they live in lavish rich lifestyle using all the money, all the wealth they accumulated from hacking passwords, pin numbers, bank accounts and other valuable information.

Not good! Nobody wants to be a victim! I don't want to be a victim of a scam, fraud, nor be a victim of a hacker or group of hackers.

Two years ago, I was informed by anonymous callers from other countries informing me about there was "something wrong with my computer." Then husband was informed the same thing.  We thought it was just one of those scams and we ignored the informers. Long distance calls from other countries informing us about such information that our computer was hacked. How could that be? ignore, ignore, ignored!  Then recently after the New Year, this year of January 2017 while I was browsing for another blog at Wordpress and read one of those blogs then happened to click on one of the links to her blog and to my surprise that woman's friend whose blog once clicked opens to my own blog setting. In that setting one can click the "buttons" intended to edit, change format, erase, delete my blog, the hacker can do anything to my blogs. What the hell!

Who knows? Maybe those hackers were also present together with those realtors who looked at our previous houses before. If that's the case the realtors have the list of their names whoever they are.

Did you check your blogs? It happened to me. Maybe your blogs are also being "in controlled" by hackers and thieves.

God Gave Us Brain To Think And Analyze

I didn't cook anything for breakfast because my daughter and I usually have bagels with butter. When asked if my husband would like to have breakfast he usually said, " no."  He wakes up early morning and had cup of freshly brewed coffee then another cup, and another cup that ends up to 4 cups of coffee before 7 am.  Who wants a breakfast after 4 cups of coffee? He loves gourmet coffee!

For me, the taste of coffee is still weird. Taste charcoal!

Then, I didn't cook at lunch time because we had ham and cheese sandwich. That helps us not inhale the steam/smoke coming from cooking our meals. At winter time when there's no  exhaust fan/vent that drives the steam/smoke vent out from the stove better have sandwich. At dinner? I have to cook, better cook or else husband will have to dine in with friends. Actually his friend gave him a "sample of a food" that he cooked. I didn't see what that food is.

I remember an Indian once gave him a "spicy Indian food" and after that something bother his stomach. It bothered him for such a very long time, more than a year. I hope he consulted his doctor about it.
Those Indians who had problems too with the kind of food they cook due to many spices they add in their cuisines. Not necessarily and that's why one of them had that severe problem and one of them had an organ transplant. It is the kind of food that can cause harm to your body.

At one point in time when a neighbor gave us a moist cake, polished with rich whipped cream/icing. Untouched! It was his birthday and he said that he doesn't care much for cake. It was given to him by his friends. He gave it to my husband and gave it to me which I divided, half of the cake given to my sister and half of the cake for me. The next day I went for a laboratory test and test found disturbing result.

Sometimes better take precautionary measures in accepting "food" from anybody whether you know that person or not.

Also when there's a party, better announce to your guests about the ingredients of the food on the table or if they have allergies better tell the cook about their allergies. If they are allergic to nuts then don't eat nuts. Always ask. There's no harm in asking.

You learned that poop of an "animal" was used for coffee in Central America are you crazy to consume that coffee? NO! Think. No one in human's mind whose such a fool to consume coffee made from animal's poop. Protect consumers' rights. Be a human being.

You learned that crickets, bats and locusts are eaten in Africa and you thought that's cool. Then those who consumed the fried locusts and crickets died. What now? Remember that those insects are bombarded with DDT and insecticides and infesticides harmful to humans and insects and eating those insects or pests are cool? Think again.

On Recovery!

A refreshing beverage, a soda, with real ginger ale plus cranberry is super good especially for my colds. It has that soothing effect on my throat and finally I can taste the flavor.

Days of thunder and lightning (cough and colds) is almost thing of the past.

Well, hopefully. I have to be optimistic. Think more positive so that finally I can gain the strength I need.

Is It Really A Journey To The Unknown Dimension?

Truth be told that nothing lasts forever! Are you surprised at the local newspaper's special tribute to the many people who passed away last year of 2016?

Too many.

The population of Campbell River is less than 40,000 and hundreds of people who died due to illness, incurable ailments, accidents (?) and natural death is staggering. With the near-completion of a new hospital... then these hundreds of deaths within time period of 2016?

It's my first time to see such event. Very disturbing.

Condolences to those bereaved families whose loved ones left them to their journey to another world
and may the love of the Lord God bless their families in time of grief.

Another Chronicle of Life?

As if you thought I am not aware that you are using my BLOGS as your SOURCE of data and other info. LOL. Now I feel like the wind speed will be over 200 m/hr.

Let me tell you, my daughter and I cried last nite after watching the tele-series ICE FANTASY. Finally Liloo and Ka Suo were granted their wish to be united as "couple."

I don't know why Liloo has to wear a peachy-colored gown not a white bridal gown. Probably customary for her to wear peach maybe she is Princess Peach! lol. Or it's their custom, cultural upbringing,  maybe she originally came from the "Peach tree" family. Uhm, not a virgin anymore? Only VIRGINS can wear WHITE BRIDAL GOWNS. Or only the ICE TRIBE can wear WHITE gowns/suits. Traditionally! Customary! Or because it's a different kind of fantasy when women court the males. Females are males!? Weird! In the way they represent their gender on the screen.  As you probably know Liloo courted Ka Suo in this fantasy series. Tsk! tsk! I'm not an interpreter. The series is entitled ICE FANTASY which is an English word/title. But the medium of communication is in "Chinese and dubbed in Chinese and subtitles in Chinese."

So if ever having misinterpretation here or my own interpretation is different from yours it's because I am not a Chinese nor do I speak the Chinese language (Mandarin, Fookien, Cantonese).

How (we) I understand a "complicated Mandarin television series."  Lip-reading, facial expression, sequence by sequence. Maybe my own interpretation is better.

Consider the television series as another CHRONICLE OF LIFE that is tragic, sad,  and miserable. When immortality meets mortality. It's a beautiful story of love, friendship and magic and how not to use power excessively.

Well, it's like watching the silent movie of Charlie Chaplin wherein you just have to analyze what the message is which can make Americans laugh at Charlie's funny behaviour and attitudes and then suddenly Hitler waved and raised his arm and sound can be heard through the screen and that's what they hate about Nazism. They don't like sound!
Sound barrier is broken!

Friday the 13th

Remember that horror suspense movie "Friday the 13th?" Awful! Shocking! Just one incredible being who never dies to commit revenge after revenge until all those teenage kids died and everyone related to the next of kin of the first original victim died. Murderous! Unbelievable! Unforgettable! So many of Friday the 13th sequels. First movie was watched by me when I was in College. You know like to scare myself.

I like watching frightening movies so that they scare the hell out of me or it's just that scary movies are the most in-demand movies in Philippines. Cinema/movie-houses are jampacked every time there are horror movies are shown. Always that SRO and the feeling that the cinema is full of people then doesn't scare me much. Besides, I don't watch alone. I usually watched thrillers with my friends, sister or with my cousin.

"Friday the 13th" is just similar with "Halloween" movies, stories are based on revenge.

Is it really revenge or just that there are so many EVIL PEOPLE on this Earth?

Very evil, wicked, opportunistic people!

Well, it's Friday today, who knows what will happen the next day?

Nothing's perfect!

Today, I feel much better than previous days of harrowing excessive coughing and the pain that accompanies with cough and colds. First thought I have a small kitten inside my chest the way I breathe. You know that symptom of having asthma. My daughter and son had that bout with colds, they had medication and drink a lot of fluids. We consumed a lot of tissue and paper towel.

My husband has recuperated from the same ailment and thank goodness there's no snow anymore. I hope the last snow was days ago and no more. I hate snow already!

Husband has requested a hot palabok pancit with the shrimp sauce which I gladly cooked within an hour after having all the ingredients ready. We had palabok for lunch and what's next is the meal for dinner.

I know wouldn't it be better to get out and just dine in at the restaurant or fastfood? Just like those group of people who are more than happy dining out away from their home.

Could it be that the smoke coming out from the stove to the closed vent (without point of exhaust out of the place where it was installed) is the one that's causing us sick? The smoke/steam goes up to the vent and it spreads through the wired vent with foamy surface that stops the smoke. That's it? It doesn't work! Wont work that way. A smoke vent from above the stove/oven should have a way out from the vent out of the house just like a normal chimney. Weird! The vent's noisy and sucks the smoke up from the stove when someone's cooking then the smoke comes out from the opening in that same vent with exhaust fan and then the smoke spreads entirely out from another opening on that vent away out through the ceiling and wall. The smell of the food spreads all over the house especially above the room where my son sleeps. Who invented this vent? What the hell he is thinking? Then what the hell and who the hell install a vent that sucks the smoke from the stove/oven then inside that vent and then pass the smoke out in another opening and spread the smoke from the vent inside the house? No logic in that machine.

So think that the small openings or draught from the doors were actually on the purpose that air can pass through it. Because smoke from cooking and the fumes it create when trapped inside the house (without any openings) can lead to hazardous gas. The oxygen gets thinner and the vapor occurs and next thing is radon or bad gas sets in. Or the best to eliminate such gaseous substance is to cook but open the windows at the kitchen. However this is only good for summer time. At winter time there's that tendency when your hydro bill will be higher than usual if you keep windows and doors open even if for just few ten to 20 minutes.

Now I know why the PO Mail sent us a message that states:

Then another piece of message with warning ad about the dangers of RADON and how to be tested with radon. There's no basement in this house so nothing to worry about that. But based from what I read in the EB many years ago radon doesn't comes from contaminated soil alone, it can also comes from water. Radon can emits from old appliances.  Radon is a radioactive gas. Gas! GAS can pass through any kind of openings, holes, crevices. Gas is like air. It's just it is the worse kind of evil air. Carbon monoxide is worse I think. No smell, odorless and deadly! Scary!!


Now you wonder why some families have problems with hydro bills. Why some bills are higher than usual. Draughts on doors and windows. Or open doors and open windows at the time when they cook their meals at winter time. Which way we have to go on how we can be economically wise and thrifty when being thrifty can only lead to sickness or ailments hard to cure.

Cold Snaps

December 2016-January 2017 the coldest months and the cold snap is affecting almost everyone. The only thing that could melt the frigid zone are the hot news provided by the media people.

Who could be the source of NEWS out there? Who are the hidden messengers of news that keep the whole world spinning. It's great if the spin is as natural as rotation on its axis, revolution around the sun but if the spin is out of control then there's the trouble.

We can't lay stagnant and do nothing. Too many of us are unemployed and we are somehow in front of the computer, typing blogs, or you are writing books, you are a tele-marketer and being in front of the computer is your usual day to day life. There are too many occupations to be productive however that doesn't mean you can be paid for such. Hard competitive life. It's hard to be self-employed. It's better to be employed with an employer who will pay you wages or salary.



Then the retirees... there's nothing wrong with being retired. The problem is their salary called pension  per month is "fixed."

Stay away from too much politics. That too can cause stress, tension and stroke. It weakens your immune system and the virus strikes when you are at the lowest point health-wise. Viruses are smart organisms you know? Look at how virus do their infections from point to point of entry. Read it on Encyclopedia Britannica, it also features the illustration like when virus struck a small opening of an enclosed sac. The next thing you know the virus spread throughout from one sac to another. Yuck!

Ha ha! That's scary? Now I feel like having a gas fireplace is better to have inside the house aside from having electric heating system.

I have a limited space on my computer and when somebody tries to add more elaborate words then my computer shuts down. You know debate is such a great deal trying to prove you can reason out with somebody else that your opinion matters without offending somebody else.

Do I have to apply Twitter here? Heh!  Too much for me to handle. I have enough blogs to keep me busy.

I'm sick for the past few days and told myself that I have to give myself some rest, relax and plan. Do my household chores like most moms do. I can't be a bad mom. Are you?

Oopps, too late now because 42 minutes from now MARVEL Agent of SHIELDS will be back on its primetime. Let see what the "android" is about to do against the real humans and the freaks of nature (no pun intended it's just the roles they played for the series).

January The Month Of New Beginning

I think nobody is immune to flu because it is one of the most in-demand illness in the world. How it's being passed from one person to another is somewhat easy to pin-point.

The carrier of flu probably passed it from handshaking somebody, or through doorknobs touched by the carrier and the victims unknowingly what it could do to that person then just showed only few days to start up. It depends of how the strain of flu or how strong is your immunity. You could be using the infected person's glass or coffee mug or what could be? Could it be that the first carrier of flu has bad intentions?

I used disinfectant spray for the faucet, sink and toilet bowls, the bathrooms are always cleaned every time somebody goes there I sprayed Lysol disinfectant. It is the most overused cleanser/cleaner, disinfectant in my house. I used liquid/chlorine to disinfect all hand towels then washed in the machine and all plates, glass, cups and mugs are washed and sanitized in the dishwasher. The house is always cleaned so really it's not from my house the origin of such mess.

It is when I'm being paranoid about health and not being infected by flu then suddenly I was hit by this stupid flu. You know that kind of situation wherein the devil gets to act devilish to test me how good is my immunity.

Right now, I'm suffering from headache. I had 1 Tylenol capsule again. My breathing was bad last night. My chest was murmuring like as if I have asthma or chronic bronchitis. I was unable to sleep because of that noise from my chest. My cough is extremely bad. I can't taste the food, losing my sense of smell and taste. That awful!!!! Enough Buckley's.

Cruel January? Why at this month of January this worse, stupid things happen? I hope we are not being used as "test site" for the stupid flu. Is it a chicken flu, bird flu? Duck flu?



January is the calendar month of the year when saints and martyrs were born. Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Bernadette Soubiros, Saint Eusebia, the feast of the Black Nazarene, and the many unknown heroes out there.

 I first thought January is the month of a "new beginning."

Things to do

I have to do something worthwhile. I can't be idle. I know that I'm feeling so sick and tired but have to do my chores at home. I have to vacuum or no one else will. Do you like the color of the carpet on the stairs? I don't really like that color of "beige or light brown cream color for the carpet." I would rather like the color dark blue, grey, dark green or maybe mint color carpet. Because a brown colored carpet looks dirty no matter how many times you shampoo the carpet or vacuum it. Yeah, that's what it is, to vacuum the carpet everyday is much needed. Nothing will change except I bleach the carpet. Ha ha! I wont.

This is what I enjoyed, baking something. When everything's running out or out of stock for my plan of baking a blueberry pie-banana and suddenly when I checked the fridge for that whipped cream and to my surprise and amazement the whipped cream is gone! Husband bought a brand new sealed can of whipped cream and hasn't use it and it was empty? How that happened? Well, he found that out after New Year. Nobody used it. You mean to say the whipped cream evaporates just like that inside the fridge. I couldn't believe it. One of those days that my immunity becomes weak when something like that happened. Don't tell me our house has been burglarized again while we were away? Why the burglar had chosen the whipped cream? The burglar looked inside our fridge!? That person must be very hungry!!

Anyway, something new to bake. The fruit cocktail or fruits in can can be used for baking (instead of using fresh fruits). It's not only for fruit salad. A fruit cake that taste better than fruit cake minus the brandy or rhum.

Then the laundry task that never seem to end. I'm so glad we have laundry machine and drying machine. Without those helpful machines, our lives would be so slow like being in an ancient world where no one use modern machines and everything is done by manual hands. To clean the bathrooms? No modern machines yet to clean and sanitize the bathrooms, you really have to use your hands to clean them. Thank goodness we only have 1 1/2 bathrooms unlike in previous homes we lived in we had 2 bathrooms and half toilet. A 2  1/2 bathrooms are ideal for a couple with 3 children in Canada. While the wealthy families would rather have one bathroom each for every member of the family.

At The Onset of Flu

 For itchy, sore throat try Halls honey-lemon.

 Drink lots of fluids, especially a hot or warm cup of tea is good for you.

Buckley's best remedy for extreme colds, cough and fever? 

Try Tylenol caplets. Follow the direction or usage of medicine (on how many times you have to take medicine by the hour or 3x/day)

Eat warm chicken noodle soup preferably Lipton soup.

Or try chicken arrozcaldo with thinly slices of ginger.

Keep your house heated at the right temperature especially at winter time.

Wear comfortable clothing, sweater, wear socks for your feet 

and don't get out of the house when you are sick to prevent infection

If those remedy don't help you much, better see your family doctor and ask for better
prescription or Rx

Are You Running Out Of SALT?

Hard to believe that mainland Vancouver area is running out of salt. Only this year that problem exists! Nobody complains about it until yesterday.

It's not about table salt that is out of demand but the industrial salt or rock salt used for the icy ground. Well, that product industrial salt is very in demand now and the public wants to have their own bucket of salt so that they can sprinkle on their yard. On the surface of the ground!!!!!

Why not? It's slippery on the yard, backyard and on the sidewalk. You don't want to wait for somebody to do it for you when you get out of the house. Besides, how many government workers doing the sprinkle of rock salt on the roads and highways? Probably there are workers and volunteers doing such salting of the ground but look at what happened? No more salt!

My husband has only 2-3 small bags of industrial salt for salting the ground and how long those bags will last when the weather forecaster on TV announced that it will snow again tomorrow.

Now what? Stay at your home when it snows. It's better to be safe than sorry. Tomorrow is Friday and if the snowfall is heavier than expected all schools should be closed in Vancouver. It's only snow and you should close the school? This is to prevent accident. Have you seen those vehicles spinning uncontrollably on icy roads and highways? How many are victims of broken bones on arms, legs, knees and hips? We don't want you at the emergency rooms and hospital orthopaedic wards (well, better take care of yourself) Don't fall! Protect yourself.

 Most of all the Schools should caution the students and their parents early before it's too late. Prevent parents from suing their schools because of negligence. That's all, be safe. Prevention is better than cure.

Three days without mails from post office. We're waiting for important cheques that never come. Hm, wonder, wonder why.

Year of the Rooster!

Are you sure it's the Year of the Rooster? Great! What is the characteristic of a rooster? Proud? Brave maybe? Strong, a fighter especially "yung manok na pangsabong."

Rooster (Tandang)  is the male counterpart of a female chicken >hen. Matikas (proud), makisig (handsome),  matipuno (strong), magalang (respectful), masipag (industrious), mabilis (fast),  matapang (brave), yan ang characteristics ng isang tandang. Do you think year 2017 will be a reflection of the Rooster?

 Could it be a roster instead of a rooster? lol. Ha ha, not funny.

Rooster brand rice is the most in-demand rice in Canada because of its great quality. It's a sweet-scented rice. Although we usually have boiled or baked potatoes for our daily meal, I can't live without rice. Asian people would rather eat rice than potatoes.

Well, rooster we want you to do your duty of protecting this year as totally well productive, progressive, prosperous, vigilant, happy and healthy come what may or overjoyed.

Welcome 2017!

Sunny morning until this afternoon however it is cold, and at -9 degrees C. temperature there's no reason to get out of the house except for important task. Besides who would like to walk outside on icy ground? Not too many walk here. Most of the people here owned vehicles. There are bus and taxis. The bus here is not the same as the bus in the Philippines with stereo, strobe lights or disco lights or with DVD. The bus here is a public-government owned transit and it's slow. The bus travel from certain destination and must stop on scheduled time at the bus station or bust stop. It wont stop just because you want to get out on that location you desired. It will only stop at designated bus stop and station, so it is boringly slow. To ride taxi? Darn, so expensive! But if you want to enjoy the view of the city, the houses, subdivision, the snow-covered mountains, to shoot photos of what's on the highway and streets take the bus. You'll never know whom you'll meet. Because at one time riding a bus with my sister, on the other seat was a "Hollywood star" and why the hell he is riding a bus? I think he was helping a person with disability that time and he's taking him around on "purpose" maybe. It couldn't be a movie shooting because there's no presence of camera.

Anyway, I only get out when I go shopping. There is nothing for me to do outside. Nobody gets out except to work, shop, or dine in at restaurants or fast-food chains. Nobody stays at the mall and sit on the bench or window shopping. There is no large mall or large mega department store with food court same as Megamall or Landmark. We live in a rural fishing village. The rural area seems a close reflection of rural Japan but I'm in Canada. Actually go figure that Ishikari used to promote Campbell River as a sister city. Why not?! The city looks like Japan especially if all the cherry blossoms started blooming in Spring time. I left the japanese maple tree in Vermont and my husband planted the tree at the front yard garden. Maple tree is a beautiful ornamental tree. Every yard should be adorned with such beauty of a tree or much as well have cherry blossoms tree on every yard. 

I wish it's already Spring. I hate winter. I want all the daffodils that we planted to bloom abundantly and plant other garden flowers and maybe plant vegetables at the backyard. No tree here at the front yard of our house. The back is the forest of spruce, fir, cedar, pine and willow trees and shrubs of berries.

January is reminiscing of the past 2016 and welcoming year 2017. It's Janus. January.
