I wish to prepare and cook the food that I really like, however life on earth do not revolve and rotate on just one person alone and knowing that I am more than aware  have to realize that there are very special people in our lives who are fuzzy and choosy about food.

My baby Tyrel is one fuzzy eater. Just like his Mommy, I am very choosy about the kind of food that is being served on the table.

There are certain food I don't really like because of its taste and smell. I don't like certain meat such as venison, meat from wild boar, moose, rabbit, dogs, goat, turkey, chicken and so many meat that should not be taken or eaten for food consumption. Meat from wild animals will surely make your sweat stink like a plague. So beware, be very aware!  I know you watch too much Masterchef wherein the cooks are to prepare and cook food from wild animals. What could be the reason behind that? There's not much meat from cattle, pigs and chicken that they have to have outsource the ordinary source of food? I think the Food Inspection Agency should better have a bigger tag for such food like if they will sell "pepperoni sausage and other sausages" they should mention in the tag that the meat that was processed in the making of those sausages are mechanically processed meat from such animals. Why there's such reason for that tag? Simply there are millions of people with certain allergies. There are people who are allergic to certain kind of meat and within that kind of meat might trigger certain allergic reaction and might cause harm to that person.

It is not only about meat we are concern about, take for example about any kind of fish. There are individuals who are allergic to ling cod, rock cod, sole, and many other shellfish. There are certain seafood that can be harmful especially when these shellfish are gathered during red tide. Fish like tuna, the most delicious and expensive fish in the ocean has that quality that affects certain individuals because of its mercury content. I have read from an old magazine about the mercury in tuna can trigger autistic behaviour. Really? I, myself is surprise about such story. I like tuna, the trouble is there's no tuna swimming around the territorial waters of Canada. Blue fin tuna where can we find you?

What To Cook?

 There are hundreds of recipe to look at the recipe books I have but I only cook something that I like or mostly my favorite food. Having to choose the right meal for the day is a pain and heartache especially when nobody likes the meal that's been laboriously prepared. They have their choices too most of the time. MOST OF THE TIME!

I must always remind myself and the "others" that the house is not a restaurant.

 

 I wish my house is a restaurant. In a restaurant the cook is praised most of the time for the food that's been prepared because cooking is an act, it is a special kind of WORK. It is work! Cook are paid for their hard work. In five star restaurants cook are paid higher than anybody else in the kitchen because of their experience and knowledge in their "cookery." They also have special privilege and receive higher tip from customers who appreciate gourmet food. However, when gourmet food is not what they prefer but the "fast food." Right, they should go to the fast food and have fun with it. Cheaper! Economical! Most of all no need to clean the house and the kitchen from all the mess. Less garbage. No need to clean the oven and stove. There's no need for fridge. There's no need to shop for raw food, no need for veggies, meat and dairy. All food must come from the restaurant.

Less work. No sweat!

You bet the BUDGET will suffocate anybody from all the restaurant expenses.

 

I could just be an artist. I would rather be an illustrator, creative artist rather than be a cook when those people don't really appreciate what good food or viand they are having for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I could just paint the food and then add magic making all those food real in just a matter of one click. One click, one flash! Voila! Eureka!

 When I feel like I'm being so kind to others as if I'm being pushover then I realized I have to be kind to myself first and foremost because truth is you really have to look and care after yourself first because in today's world when there are so many posers and so many unreliable people or you have to think twice whether they are really your friends then better think twice. Use your five senses including your third eye.

 True. So true that your senses play the most part in seeing what you can see for real with your own eyes. Your sharp vision. Having five senses: sense of sight will see what is bad and good and what's evil,  sense of smell will determine your sense of well- being, sense of touch will help you determine how soft and or hard an object and let you know the texture of surface, sense of hearing will let you know how loud and low the volume of sound, your tongue can sense the taste and texture of food will help determine your health.

DESIDERATA. Always strive to be happy.

What makes your day? Seeing what others cannot see because you have the gift of all the senses you need to live in a very competitive world.

Everyday Is A Discovery To Learn Something New

 I discovered something new and I tried it through digital painting. The background which is the wall of our house used a s a medium for this kind of art form. I have seen so many stencil art or rather wall paper art from the shopping arcade however there is nothing like this. It's more like a mural. The color that I have chosen is absolutely refreshing and cool. So many images and symbols hidden like a puzzle.

What's really the point of having this art on my photograph? Right why bother have those art forms in the background?

 

You wont believe but while taking pictures of me I noticed that something is being changed through the "buttons for webcam and suddenly the chosen light features keep changing its natural mode setting. It moves. Meaning somebody is having control of the webcam? How could that be possible?

It seems like a psychological thriller right? Sort of supernatural occurrence of something or paranormal activity? That's absurd it can only happen in movies not in real life.

 

I keep on taking pictures even if I noticed some movements. It could happen that maybe, maybe there is that so called "remote button or control somewhere from above space or from nowhere.

I don't know. I am not a computer savvy.

It's just me alone in front of my computer and webcam. I know how to use my computer and webcam. But having somebody taking control of my computer and gadgets? That's absolutely crazy! Invisible creature trying to change the setting?

 

 

 

 Anyway, when the picture-taking was finished there are so many of those lime green stuff on the wall or background of my photographs.

Contrast? How could that be contrast of light when I already set the mode and feature setting and save the setting? So, that's what happened been splashed with lime goo-like stuff.

I know you hate me. Why that bitchy creature hate me? What's wrong with her?

However because I am more than creative compared to  those ghost-like creatures stopping my creativity so here are the result of their anomalies. Their bad unruly without sense and what can I call them? Without talent and without remorse jealous and envious ghosts ghoulies are probably shaking their booties in madness because they can't stop me. The first three photographs of me above with the "mural-like images" are the result of the lime green goo-like splash seen on two photos. Just think of it as lime or avocado splash delight. Yeehaaaaaaa! Figure it out!

Stroke & Tremors

You know what a heatwave can do to you if you're hit by that awesome amazing heat? STROKE!

So many suffered heart attack from heatwave years ago. Every year there are at least dozen people suffering fro heatwave and mild heart attack. You think you'll just get mad, be angry with the hot temperature? When the hot weather is unbearable it can suddenly change your mood. Mood swings are frequently the symptoms. It's natural. Some people get angry at some small things even if there is nothing to be angry about or it's just that it's hot. The temperature goes up to the head and then headaches arised and if you're not careful enough will give you a sudden pain in the chest and a feeling kind of indigestion and heartburn and blood rising up to your head causing mild stroke. Symptoms, symptoms that you must be aware of just in case.

Heatwave's the number one cause of stroke. It doesn't choose any age nor gender.

A neighbor who went on vacation with his wife down in Kelowna has suffered a stroke. They thought it was just mild sort of heart ailment or BP rising up in synch with the mercury rising and it can be resolved with medication. It turned out he needed an operation. Shocking? It's a "double heart by-pass operation." Really???? How could that happen? Bizarre eh? That vacation turned into nightmare. Hopefully the patient and his wife are in good condition now.

Prophecy, prediction ...who's got sixth sense? Do you have 6th sense? Extra sensory perception is not common amongst men nor women. Nobody has sixth sense except ANIMals. That's why they are called ANIM(6)mals. Only animals knew the movements of the earth and its environment so clear that when suddenly a tremor or volcanic eruption are to be read by machines the animals are the first to perceive such disaster. Before the machine and before experts can even predict. In the books that I have read before pertaining to ESP or 6th sense there are very FEW people who are gifted with such incredible Extra Sensory Perception. The ratio is ONE in 5 million people. Or probably 1/10,000,000. Shocking? ESP is not common therefore if there is one trying to predict the future you have to double your watch. It could be some kind of fraud or scheme to annoy, fool, or discredit your sense. Bad people will do anything to spread pandemic, disaster and many global problems around the world and the result is more disastrous obstacles where the ones who spread the problems become the recipient. It's true that it is HOT, hot weather we are having in this period of time. Other countries have that problem too. What's causing the hot heatwave? Do you know? Or because we are not use to having hot weather because we live in the cold region. It will be cooler soon hopefully by the month of August. From there will find out if Canada will really be a part of the cold front including other European countries.

What to do with these people predicting about the future? Be skeptic! Don't believe them. It can all be coincidence. Or it is just that person has first hand knowledge of what to be the cause of the upcoming events because the disaster is probably manmade not natural or there is that benefit of the doubt that science can explain them in such a way that the truth is more prevalent or more so the best structure to believe in. Believing in truth and scientific findings instead of guessing game trivia that is unworthy of a cause because there is presence of graft and corruption .

Double your watch and double your faith.

Beautiful Talking Parrot

Suddenly my daughter's interest about parrots was reignited. I know that she likes the movie about Paulie, the talking parrot but what seems to fascinate my daughter is the ability of that one of a kind parrot that tells about the future. Imagine a parrot that can predict the future? That's totally amazing right?

We're watching the BTR show, rather the Big Time Rush and one of the boys band named Carlos was talking to the parrot and he was like subservient to what the bird says until one day the parrot said something frightening and he doesn't want to get out from Palm Wood's condo headquarter. It's funny though how these special kind of birds can talk or rather mimic. How in the hell they can mimic or repeat words at least they have that marvellous "memory." Parrots can sing and talk according to bird experts but you really have to teach them diligently, repeatedly until those birds can repeat what you are saying.

Maybe the best option is for the parrots to listen to a radio. I think that's the best thing possible but wonder what kind of words they will learn.

So my daughter and I asked my husband if he could buy a parrot for her daughter. At first her Daddy was surprised. Me too. I would rather have her a puppy like a maltese or shih tzu to look after and care for. But it was the talking bird that she likes. Google information from the internet how much would a parrot will cost her.

I showed her some photos from the Google images and she likes the  Macaw with the bright royal blue color  wings with yellow feathers on its body. Or second choice is the parrot with the royal blue wings with red and yellow colors on its feather. Oh, they are so beautiful. Striking bright colors and I like to have one too.

According to a pet owner of a parrot it will take one year to more than a year to get the parrot to talk. Food consumption of a parrot ranges from $50/month or more depends on how big the parrot is. Then because parrot is a big bird the cage is costly, about $400 to $ 500's worth. Cleaning the cage? Will my daughter clean the cage?  Then that kind of bird bites. It's not a tame one. You have to tame a wild bird. Wow! Weird.

I think it's better to have a puppy instead.

I don't know what to cook today. Maybe spaghetti or any kind of Italian pasta? Then watch the GODFATHER where Al Pacino had a heart attack and then left alone in his mansion on his wheelchair. Shocking story of how life in the most affluent family and clan solve and resolve differences and how the Vatican played the role in this magnificent story of  too much drama, passion and religious affiliation. Tragic and enigmatic.

By the way, did you hear that Pope John Paul II will be canonized soon? They are waiting for few more miraculous intervention so that the process will be finalized.

So far, that holy intervention is not within reach as of this point in time.

Pedicure and Foot Spa?

I used to do my own pedicure. If I'll have somebody doing it at the nail shop it will cost $44.00 + tax. Twice a month pedicure service will cost double that amount which is $ 88.00 plus tax. I know and aware that the foot spa and pedicure service in town have experienced manicurist and pedicurist but because I am very meticulous about myself, my body, and my health. Besides, I can do it myself. I mean I have two hands to do simple task. Bigger complicated task? It should be in black and white...or be reprimanded.

Okay I know I am being an economizer. I am thrifty you know.

Or let say being thrifty is a great compliment it's not a matter of being meticulous.

Common sense plays a role to this task too. I have a daughter who needs twice a month pedicure too so that's costly right? Imagine having the two of us having pedicure at the salon. The cost is $ 176/month + tax + tip.

So why bother when I can do the pedicure for ourselves? That $176.00 worth of savings we can have it for something else like we can buy new shoes, new clothes, or any gadget for the computer or new game for her computer netbook. As a matter of fact I need some memory cards for my digital camera for my photography. So whatever we can save we'll be some other things or any miscellaneous things we need to make us happy in this part of the world. We seldom get out of the house. We live in a place where shopping is not that fabulous. The city where we live is not to be compared to Hong Kong, Singapore or Makati city. The city here is not the city or mecca for shopping. It's like when some people see you shopping till you drop they looked at you like as if you're crazy. The shopaholics in this sleepy area are mostly Filipinos. The white people or the Caucasians are not really into fashion or have passion for wearing fabulous clothes. Unless of course if they are models or celebrities. What they are after are having expensive vehicles for land  and sea and that's good enough. Not to mention they live in big houses so... They don't care about clothing. They don't care about ironed clothes. Once their clothes been washed through the washing machine and dried in the drier that's okay.

I'll Worship Anybody Who Can Change The Weather

I think the hottest summer is within this year 2013 however I could be wrong because simply cooler temperature now in Australia, the land down under. Actually it's already winter over there. While other parts of the world received so much storms and typhoons, other regions are experiencing drought and low tide on their ocean. Global warming is inevitable. How many weeks more to have showers on our part of the province? Provide artificial rain through jet propulsion? Ah darn that's costly! Wait for the genuine rain showers. No need to pay hefty sum of money to control weather. Let it fall from the sky whatever needs to fall. Of course water what else? How about snow falling on summer time?

I would like to iron some clothes so that I can hang them inside the closet but because of how weather, even if there is electric fan its really not of use because the air it fans out is also warm not cool.

I'd better go surfing heheheh. Let's go surfin' at the Lightning Point. Nah, just kidding. I could just watch those kids surf the wavy waves. I will iron our clothes later when the weather subsides to a temperature that is appropriate otherwise don't like being a victim of an oven hot environment. Baka maging pandesal ako. lol.

Air conditioned house in Canada? Hmm, why not? But we're thrifty here you know. Hindi naman ako sosyal. The house we rented before for more than a year has air con but we seldom use it because husband is not that convenient with it. We're not upstarts. Hindi kami pasosyal! As a matter of fact wala kaming housemaid. Hindi uso yun dito. Pang Philippines lang at HK ang mga maid. Pang sosyal lang. Para lang sa mga sobra-sobra ang kayamanan. Alam mo na yung mga millionaires and billionaires na who are paying millions of taxes ay, pulos loopholes pala. Pag pulos loopholes yabang lang pala ang yaman. Please lang if you have the power please change the weather...now na!

Flowers, flowers in bloom

I did enjoy the art of flower arrangement yesterday. My husband advised me to take some of the flowers from the yard and because there are plenty of blooms gathered some of the crystal vases and ceramic tea pot and used them as flower vase. It was fun alright. I like those dry twigs from the hazel nut tree which remind me of an ornament for my ikebana flower arrangement and it looked absolutely rewarding. Ikebana is the Japanese flower arrangement and it's popularly known as "heaven and earth." Some women will enrol themselves in school on this entertaining art to learn the Japanese way but my knowledge on this is based from a book. Besides it depends on the availability of flowers and other ornaments to make fabulous bouquet of flowers.

From The Giver To The Receiver or From the Receiver to the Giver. Vice-Versa!

It's really nice to receive greeting cards especially from the people whom you expect will give you the best of messages and gifts. How many of you still receive greeting cards from the post or are you receiving eCards from the internet via email? Sabi nila hindi na raw uso ang greeting cards. Well uso parin dito kahit anong sabihin mo. The good thing about eCards? You can send it direct from your computer to another computer via internet anywhere, anytime in a fast lane. Sobrang bilis ng dating within seconds lang. While it takes days and even weeks to send a greeting card from city to city or to another country.

Somehow accepting and receiving greeting cards the old fashionable way is still sentimental because of the effort the giver had shown for the most part it is more sincere and the value is priceless.

Whatever! It's the message that counts whether it's an eCard or greeting cards from the mail.

What kind of message you want to receive? Simply depends on what the occasion is. Message that fills the heart. Sentimental. Emotional message of love, caring and of gratitude.

Message of pure devotion, empathy and or sympathy for the loss.

But for the most part, the most admirable messages are the hidden symbolic messages of hope.

What about the cover? The front cover of the card is simply the first attraction.

Once you are at the card shop here are the most common things you should remember:

1. Finding the right card for the occasion: birthday, anniversary, wedding, welcome card for the newborn, shower party card,  baptismal, holidays, thank you cards, sympathy cards, graduation, get well soon card, etc, etc.

2. Finding the right card for that special person: female or male?

3. Front cover? Symbolic, mature, young generation, natural beauty, mother nature, animated, fantasy, real  or imaginary, cartoons, still life, something funny and outrageous, abstract < all these artworks represent the giver's best representation of their knowledge about you or sometimes the representation of the giver's taste to the receiver.

4. Whatever! Who cares?

5. Let's put it this way: A sincere message is the best of them all. Yung walang halong kaplastikan. It's better to give than to  receive? Or should be a give and take?

You give something but you expect that you'll be given a better message something better than you have given to the receiver?

I'm Becoming A Foodie Again

 Who said that you can ignore food? Bugs and people have one thing in common, they LOVE FOOD! Of course one has to eat to fill the stomach. Anybody has to eat, consume food for the process of growth and survival. In my own home nobody gets hungry. All the members of my family are taken care of when it comes to feeding them the most nutritious food well most of the time "gourmet food." Even without occasion. It seems like everyday is a birthday for all of us.

We usually have curry for a viand because my husband likes it. I think that's his favorite food. Well sort of.

 I should be thrifty. I should economize. Food or rather the ingredients for food, the making of gourmet food even simpler ingredients are costly.

You probably heard me of my disgust to find out how much is the cost of saffron; just the tiny little amount of saffron is worth more than ten dollars. With the bottle container another $5 +tax total. Just a dash of saffron is expensive. You may wonder why. The purple flowering plant yields tiny bit of saffron and an acre of those plants probably yields just 350 g. Very disappointing indeed. Good that we only use that special seasoning once a year for boullabaise.

I used to cook viand with bitter melon when it feels like my high blood is back to haunt me. This green veggie is sure a knock-out. I mean it's bitter but delicious, exotic Asian vegetable.

We had this last night for supper. Ground beef with zucchini and beansprout > stir fry with teriyaki and soya sauce. There is no available "patola" so instead zucchini is the best replacement. I cooked so much of this viand that we'll have half of it today for lunch with additional fresh deep fried salmon and rice. I could make salmon balls with some spices but have to be a chef for simple cooking. I don't mind having left over as long as the food is stock in the fridge and or freezer with the right temperature control.

Oh you know I had my FOOD SAFE CERTIFICATION and even without it I know how I should protect and make sure that the food is safe for consumption. It's common sense baby! But when you're in doubt about certain food? Throw it.

Bugs Bugging My Blogs!

SUNRISE is really very early today. I think the sun's up there at dawn because when I woke up at 6 am the sun is at the location when it should be 10 am. Bizarre eh? I'm not sure whether it's the sun or the earth that's having a weird re-alignment in the solar system. Or the island is moving like a clock. I know that's funny! It's not my way of thinking that's gonna bother you but the science behind astronomy.

It was last night when a television network interviewed the people behind at the NSF of the Astronomical Observatory in Hawaii which on top of the mountain. Well it was perhaps a coincidence that they featured them last night and what they are doing observing the stars and whatever that lurks within the sky. Its observatory and power lens aiming at those beautiful clouds it was amazing. Outrageous and outstanding!

Anyway, time passes by us so quickly and its already the 19th day of July. Many holidays have passed, important holidays and school vacation and students everywhere get this feeling of uncomfortable ...inconvenience because hey only few weeks and few days and they  will go back to school soon. We went to the mall and shopping malls and stores have ample amount of school supplies ready for back to school. If I were you I'll wait for the SALE. Then the pink ribbon arrives and they are really that crazy to have their supplies gone before that time period. Yeah right, because when its SALE time you wont get the right thing. Expect the unexpected. All the good stuff are gone and what's left are just simply "what's left behind or remnants." Pinagpilian na. Mga pangit na ang natira!

Of course pinky have to ignore you because you are suffocating my inner strength. Stop hacking my blog. Mind your own business because this is my blog not yours. Stop hacking my blog. Stop making money from my blog. Please have yourself a mind of your own. Ask God that you'll be given a head and a mind so that you wont bug me anymore. Ok? There is no error here unless you hack them and make my blog your own. Shame on you!

Entomology

ENTOMOLOGY- the scientific study of insects. In the world full of beautiful living things great and small there are insects who are harmful and or harmless to the living. Insects are considered garden friends and foes.

Are you a constant gardener? You probably have encountered so many insects around the garden. Some insects are cute, lovely and wonderful creatures and some are harmful, scary and can make you scream. Being frightened about their looks, their characteristic of being poisonous and several insects that can be very terrifying because they are really the group of what you called "enemies." Some insects can be very beautiful to look at but they are deadly. Anyway plants love insects because of the good things they potentially help them in the carrying-out of their offspring. Butterflies and bees as we all know that they help in the hybrid, pollination and cross pollination of their species. There are insects who created sense of panic, havoc and can destroy the life-giving process of plants. Several of those insects are playful and do no harm but create a balance of respect and interaction within the plant community. Plants and garden friends are mutually interactive and mutually inter-connected in the balance of life in the web of life.

First let me have that pretty ladybug.

 The great good thing about lady bugs they are harmless to the plant kingdom. These small red creatures with black polka dots on their bodies eat aphids. They cleaned the leaves and stems of plants from all the aphid population,  that's how nice they are. So please when you spot them on your plants don't kill them okay?

 The black-blue green beetle, sometimes they are cute to look at. One or two beetles at your garden wont cause much of a problem but when they populated your garden then you should do some tough measures to combat their presence. They are sort of pests when they over populate.

 Carpenter's ant? Sure there is that kind of ant that can be a nuisance if it gets out of control. You wont see them on cold weather because they like hot weather.

 Ants built their nest up on trees and can be harmful to the trees and plants. Of course they are a pest!
Who said they are the Antz, the movie you like to watch?

 Wasp's nest? Or the yellow jacket's hideout? Goodness! Terrifying!!!!!!!!! Shocking! But look how wise they are when choosing their home to stay at. They are like bees. No, not the movie you love. So for anything that bugs you? Don't eat bugs. Kill those bugs! Husband sprayed Raid on that nest for sure. Kiss Bugs life goodbye.

 Now take a closer look at this. How wonderful spiders are when they build their webs. Okay spiders help catch some smaller insects. Spiders eat other insects such as flies, noizzium, fruit flies, horse flies and some smaller spiders. Any insect that get entangled from the web will surely be the "food" for the day of that big spider. Thank goodness there is no tarantula. I hate tarantula. Eeekkkk!!!! I'm sure mosquitoes were trapped in that big spider web.

Bye bye Spider! I know you love her in the movie "James and The Giant Peach" but in reality spiders are very frightening. Yuck!

By the way somebody pulled a trigger on that hanging ant's nest from the tree. I first thought I'll be the one to dismantle it from the top but somebody is a hero and the nest fell on the ground at the yard. When I picked up the nest, there is no ants there; it was empty and the nest is already broken into pieces. I couldn't believe how soft and delicate their nest. It was so light, thin,  like a Japanese paper. How ants build their nest is so incredibly amazing. It feels smoother than the downy fabric softener. Smooth as silk. Wow! 

 

 

What really happened to the moth? You wont believe what happened to the moth so just let us close that story for now.

THANK GOD! I am connected with GOOD WORTHY FAMILIES, good mothers and grandmas who blogged diligently and  speak their minds. People who are not afraid. People who are brave, courageous and with the best decision and best intention for their own family, relatives and friends. My connection is always been GOOD from the very start. Corruption is not really my way. If its my way I should not be here in the first place.

According to a very wise man, "you have to be corrupt so that you'll be richer than you think." Just thinking about it makes me a sinner so why should I do it?

There are so many different opinion and many differences that may be out of control but please if you are a crook don't include me in your monkey business.

I had enough of the many scams, fraud, schemes running here and there in the internet. Inside, outside the internet even in true real life story scams are so frequently been the headline every time. Enough of those scams. Bad news such as online predators and pedophiles are bad enough and bad people bad mouthing some good people with good intentions? Where to go from here? What kind of mind you have bad elements? Why there are so many crooks? What's wrong with those people? Nothing works for those scammers? There are so many good stories and you would rather like to hear the worst kind of stories? Foul! So many foul language out there and to add up to their foul mouth badmouthing? Maybe you have to drop a whole bottle of Listerine on your mouth to cleanse you mouth from all the germs.

My topic of discussion is about AUTISM and you think that its the worst dumb thing to talk about. What's wrong with the intellectuals who can think correctly and fight for the rights of those children? Is there really something wrong with autistic children who are smart and obedient to their parents? I think the definition of autism should change. For one thing autistic like me hate stinky. We hate anything that smells foul. We don't like seeing dirt. We love cleanliness and orderliness. For us the world is about a thing of beauty is a joy forever. We set to believe that all people are honest because God created human beings as His own image. We believe that there is God and we are created according to what is GOOD and those good will benefit all of us. Is that hard to understand?

Oh the English language that was used to construct this composition is low and has no depth? Why? You want to get drowned? God used David, a shepherd instead of a highly intelligent man to be the next King instead and God must have a reason. Do you know why? Nobody is higher than God. Just be happy with your own worth. Don't seek too much knowledge as if there is something missing in your life. What's wrong with you? You don't want being understood in the first place? Dude is there anybody who talks to you? It's time to clean yourself you are so stinky. You need to brush your teeth. You have bad breath, yuck! Yup we have five senses that we always use to observe and remind you what to do. Robots are so expensive in this generation. You can watch Terminator: Salvation if you want to become one. But because told you robots are costly they cannot tell you what to do and Hal? Hal is not here so please CLEAN YOURSELF please so that good people will really feel that you are really, really clean in thoughts, in words, and in deed.

GOD will be very happy when you can obey us. It's for your own good. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Don't you like being clean and in order?

I think even robots will go ballistic if you don't follow order of cleanliness.

Busy Mind and Busy Hands

 The latest photograph of me taken by my son Cade while I was at the living room beside our TV and the two cabinets. I love that corner of the house it feels cozy and comfy. To re-shuffle the many knick-knacks, frames, books and magazines plus albums in those two cabinets? Oh my God! Very tiring! Sure have to clean, dust the shelves almost everyday. How many times we move into different houses? So many times. Moving from smaller to bigger house. First of course we moved from the "almost remote region of British Columbia to an island called Vancouver Island. Vancouver Island has a unique history, actually one incredible but wonderful historical story. The discovery of the island is so great that it will sell like a hot cake once its made into a book. So many gratifying accounts of ancient history, great archaeology finds, fossils and ancient artifacts.

To gather more historical facts and findings,  the tasks should be given to the experts instead. Study genealogy and archeology be with the One and you'll get there. I am an expert! Would you believe?

To re-shuffle the content of my cabinets and shelves can take away the time I allocated from doing my blogging and house work. That's okay when I am not really busy or got no idea to work on but seldom I have no idea. My mind is always busy and I think there is something wrong with me.

My hands, my mind is non-stop. I am multi-tasker.

I'm a strategist for God sake!

 Here, my daughter Tamara whose hands are almost automated too. Autistic people are just like that. It's "normal" to be very busy. The re-shuffling of cards is nothing to my daughter. She likes it. It was a game of "busyness." It's a mind boggling too because it creates mind-creativity. She doesn't bug anybody nor being rude with anyone so ... to leave her alone and think for herself is necessary. Therapeutic.

Aren't you busy? Your mind never stop from thinking? There is something wrong with you?

 She looks like Angela that's why I named her Angela or Angie. She's one of my collection of angels.

 I was into photography session at the front yard when I happened to see a piece of white feather down below the cherry blossom tree. I picked it up and guess it might be from a certain bird up on the branches of the tree above me so I looked up. There's nothing up there. Even the ant's nest is gone. The leaves are all green, evergreen color leaves. It's summer time almost autumn in 2 to 3 months so the blossoms are gone way too fast even before summer begins.

My husband said it's a feather from a dove.

Delicate white, smooth feather. What to do with it?

How about the image above? Do you like it? Using lights and shadow with the feather and my hand taking the very essence of  what   ART should be and what creativity means to me and you in the most fascinating way.

You are blind! According to Jesus you must cover your eyes with mud in order for the blind to see. But are you really blind?

That's a parable. Don't take everything  seriously.

I think God and Jesus have sense of humor and if you are reading the Holy Bible like every word has a corresponding wrath ? The gift of words and the gift of understanding wont accommodate your narrow mind.

Happy Birthday My Twins!

 I wont ever forget how amazed and surprised my husband and I when my specialist-gynecologist  told us about the great news. I was teary-eyed, I don't really know how to react when he broke the news I'll be having twins. Poor me, my poor small tummy how could I be able to bear two infants in my womb? I'm short, small, petite young woman how I would be able to nourish the babies, precious delicate babies in my womb? I was unable to sleep that night and days have passed I was able to conquer all the fears and anxiety. I have to. I have the courage and determination to raise my babies inside my incredible womb and a very cute chubby baby infant Tyrel whose barely not even one year old yet. It was a tremendous life drama that was given to me by God. I don't like drama. I hate dramatic episodes in my life. Together with my husband who is more than happy about the good news we can move forward to our own destiny with a smile on our face. No anxiety, no worries and no obstacles will stop us from having three children.

 Children are God's gift to mankind. My husband and I are fortunate enough to have been  given  the chance to have cute, beautiful and healthy children. We are lucky to have at least three babies who are close together in age and thank the Lord God that we  managed to raise them up to the time they are ready to think for themselves.

Indeed  it was one incredible journey of parenthood and for my children it was an amazing journey of childhood and unforgettable memories.

 Cade and Tamara are fraternal twins. Look how cute they are. There are so many million ways to describe them, how they make me feel happy and contented as a Mom. You wont believe what it feels to be a Mother or a Father but of course almost everything is priceless when you have children.

It's the children that make a house a home and it's the children that completely brightened up every loving and caring couple in a good home. Otherwise, there is that unsatisfactory feeling of unhappiness and emptiness. Remember, children make the world go round and round.

 

So here's the best of both world for you my babies Cade and Tamara. I'm not sure you like the special fruit cake so Daddy will buy a new DQ ice cream cake instead (hopefully he remembers) also...you received your gifts and cards with $$$$$ hope you wont spend them quickly. Be thrifty okay? I cooked special pancit once again for long life, good hope, the gift of good health, and biko (rice cake) for vitality, honesty and prosperity. We'll have roast chicken with stuffing because you love chicken and many more viands to celebrate your birthday.

God's Plan

BOTANY the scientific study of plants. The kingdom of plants, its behaviour, characteristic, attitude and the whole life-giving process of giving in pure  oxygen so that all the animals can live and breathe freely. Fascinating as it was its origin and you might expect the unexpected.

In the beginning The Lord Our GOD has a PLAN. It was a great PLAN. t's not leche flan. It is a plan.

From there the word of priori to anti- priori.

Seriously, I love the study of plants. I don't know why. I love clothing of flowers. The beautiful coats and clothing of the many floral in my garden. It's not enough of a garden compared to Butchart's Garden in Victoria, BC but enough to make me happy just by looking at them. Babaw ng kaligayahan ko.

In my previous blogs before I used to tell myself that I wont have a garden nor I would be able to own one or have plants at the yard because its causing me some allergic reactions but time changes. The heck and hell with allergy. There are enough medicines to control allergy. However to completely stop allergy from coming back again is a matter of  having perfect medicine. Medicines without side effects. Drugs that are perfectly manufactured with no adverse reaction whatsoever.

Where can you find such thing? We all know that most of the available medicines such as drugs are in the market produced and manufactured by the biggest laboratories and pharmaceutical companies in the world. These popular laboratories have their own lab rats who were used as "testers" to those drugs. But where those drugs came from? There you have to know. Most of the most important drugs are made from plants. Plants have those valuable qualities and characteristics that are very unique that produce enzymes and isotopes for the required medicines. However there are few animals who are important too in the making of medicines such as "insulin." The experts produced insulin from oxen. How many oxen they have to devour just to extract insulin? Many. Plenty. Not just several but for one vial of insulin you need at least 66 oxen. Unbelievable right?

How about to extract medicine from a plant? I don't know. I'm not sure how the experts who have the expertise to do such testing can do it. For those who are sick of cancer and other terminally ill patients who are not cured because they are only receiving "candies" for their drugs or medicine because the real true medicines are unaffordable in today's time and age. You can use synthetic or placebo, that's it. Then continuation of prayers and vigil is a must.

That's absurd eh? Why the hell real drugs and medicines are expensive? Simply put it this way.. let me correctly emphasize the process of manufacturing such amazing medicine is like a pyramid, loops and more loops as if you are in a roller coaster. You can't get it until you are about to die or you are hysterical from all the  pain. Too many branches. Each branch wants to make money. There's always middlemen from the top to the bottom. It's almost like a bidding process. How could that process go unpunished? I don't know. Crazy!

For you to have incredible plants that are awesome and have the power to cure ailments you must have a license instead of going to the remote areas where those plants are planted legally. Plants that are just considered like "chilis" hot and spicy but effective.

Anyway, whoever grabs the opportunity to sell those chilis only make those plants in demand and profiteering never stop. But are you getting the real deal? What if those plants are fake? There are fake medicines you know. You are buying them on over the counter and you thought the store where you bought them have legal license to operate a store but some of them sell fake products. I don't think they knew whether their products are fake or not because they don't even know the difference between candies and chocolates nor candies and medicines.

Easy does it. Open your five senses. If you have extra sixth sense use it to your advantage.

Have you seen the movie "Dark Skies" yet?

Got a pink ribbon. Awesome! I'm always been a botanist. I have a license from God. Do you have a license? Is you house considered the "laboratory" by the government? Yes the GOVERNMENT makes the process of coming out to its original plan of using "people for testing incredible amazing garden of eden."

Right! Only in my novel. If you want to copy my novel and other novels you must pay. Or we'll be chasing you up to the end of time up to the end of the world.

Life Begins At 40, So They said...but I'm in my 50's!

I received a very important email from a lady who worked at the F.S. and according to that lady M.T. she is a media relations officer and she wants me to send a "proposal for the project" which is to be submitted by the allocated time and date which is July 15, 2013 to Oct 15, 2013. In this proposal I could be legible for a grant ranging from $1,000 to $20, 000. In dollars! $$$$$ Would you believe that?

I read the whole email from top to bottom. Again and again. I just couldn't believe it. What kind of grant is that? And what I have to do for that project? In that project I have to deal with animals. I will be in an observational research project analyzing the behaviour of animals whether they have feelings, emotions and cognitive abilities. To find out what kind of intelligence the animals have in that specific environment.

You know what? Have you seen Jane Goodall's documentaries with orangutangs? How she was able to learn the orangutang's way of life is to be there where the gorillas live. In the jungle she spent many years just to have that research be fulfilled in such a way that people can learn from their own existence. I watched the documentary and the movie that was made for Sigourney Weaver and in that movie the gorillas were killed savagedly. It was bloody. They were killed by the "people who would like to exist and be taken as important as human beings."

The weighing scale of justice. The rule of law for humans are different from animals. Humans have their own rights to follow whether you live in the urban or rural areas. Animals have their own rights too but its always the humans who think for their safety and security. Animals and human beings have feelings of course. But would you love to have a python, a tiger, a lion for a pet? At your own home? Hmm, you should live in a zoo.

Hold on. Maybe my teens will enjoy working in that kind of environment plus with that big grant? Who knows eh? Who knows what tomorrow brings?

I don't know why will I accept this certain project for what? Because it offers a lot of money? First of all I am not a Veterinarian. Sure I was offered a university course in UP when I was about to start my college but Veterinary Medicine is not my forte. That's not what I want to pursue. No one in my batch knows exactly what we want to be or it depends on trial basis whether we all should take first semester of college course first and find out where is the driving force that can make or break us. For sure if you are great with Mathematics pursue a career in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Accounting, Geometry, Geology and other college courses that deal with Math. If you love Humanities follow your heart in Sociology, Psychology, Social Sciences and all that deals with human endeavour. When it comes to Science follow your dreams in the field of Biology, Botany, Medicine, Medical Technology, Nursing and Chemistry.

One can only find out at the second semester of first year in college whether you'll continue college education. For those with enough courage and determination education is very important even for those students who would rather study and learn with just little bit of financial capital but with enough brain capital as an investment they can go too far and will achieve the goals that they deserve.

Herbs

 The aroma and exotic taste and fragrance of sage is simply one of a kind. We use sage more than often in roast chicken and many other viands that need extra flavour. Thank goodness my husband have them in our garden. Its the plant that has frequent visitors namely bumble bees, yellow jackets and hornets. What other uses for this exquisite herb is for garlands, in combination with other fragrant flowers to add beauty to any living room, bathroom and bedroom. It's purple flowers are beautiful. For art sake, many talented painters and photographers used sage for their paintings and illustrations + photography. Did you know you can use sage as an ingredient in the making of candles and soap?

 Fennel is the shrubby herbs that you can see right there above this text. It grows so fast I couldn't believe it. It is the fastest growing plant in our garden. It covers our stairs at the porch that my husband decided to cut it. We seldom use fennel for our dish. Oh I used it once for the spaghetti that I cooked recently. That's it, no big deal.

 Chives are lovely herbs. Chives are spring onions and they are great for garnishing special gourmet food. It adds color to a boring food such as soup, fried rice, steamed fish and meat.

 

 Curry plant? I couldn't believe we have curry plant at the garden. It must have been planted there by my sister-in-law or my mother-in-law years ago and that plant yields again this time. To make sure it's really curry have to smell it. Yes it is "curry" no doubt. It's my first time to see such curry plant okay? I only have seen curry paste inside a jar before.

 Fennel again? Yeah couldn't believe that at summer time mature fennel plant looks like a hairy Chinese algae of some kind.

 You are seeing parsley right now. I took this picture weeks ago so the dog hasn't touch this one yet. It's my hand on it trying to figure out if I will cut the stems so that I can use it that time or not for cooking or just to add savory flavor for salad. Whatever! Now, I'm reluctant to use it.

Cilantro or coriander. It's a Chinese kinchay. I like this herb. In the Philippines this is the most in demand herbs because we usually have them for pancit. Pancit or Noodles (vermicelli rice noodles) with cilantro on top of it as garnish is the best of all food. The flavour of kinchay is perfect for soup (sopas), beef and or pork stew, it is also great  garnish or seasoning for seafood
