Just For Fun! It's Halloween Time

I think am not scary enough to scare anyone on this Halloween day.

I should have tried to make a Vampire costume or a mummy enveloped in plaster and or wear an all-white costume to make me look like a ghost or perhaps a goblin, you know something of a freak or spooky costumes that will let them run away as fast as they could.
But I am already happy with the costume I made with my own hands plus of course with the help of the sewing machine.
Do I look like Queen Nefertititi?
Perhaps Queen Hatshepsut?
Aahahhahaha!

I sew something beautiful for my daughter to wear, sort of a party gown fit for a princess however she had chosen the boyish-look outfit from the Harry Potter classic.
I tried to haul-in the many costumes they had from the old trunk at the garage and found some of them still okay for children. It might fit several grade schoolers but wont fit my teens, not anymore. They outgrown so many, all of these costumes (Superman, Tuxedo man, Digimon, Pikachu, alien, Batman, Padhme of Star Wars, Fairy, Tiger, Vampire and Dracula, Grim reaper, the Monk,Voltes 5, and the Wizard).

The weather is uncooperative today don't know for sure if there are knockers or door ringers who will ask "trick or treat?" but whatever the situation is we usually open doors for kids who would like to celebrate the fun time, once a year celebration of  halloween. It's for kids, its for the young at heart, it's also for the old people who feel young and like to be being a kid just for this event.

Thank goodness it's only once a year!

Walang magawa kundi magdrawing so heto ang Halloween card ko to greet everyone HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Have a safe halloween celebration.

Have more fun on halloween! Be good and don't be evil.

The Right Of Consumer Is The Right Of Every Human Beings

Just as I finished with the food preparation for our supper ( marinated beef on special sauce made from scratch of the finest fresh pineapple, spices, soy sauce, garlic and onions blended together, mixed them up and presto that's the sauce for the beef). I should have lemon juice or lime juice but forgot to buy from the supermarket. Oh yes! We have to shop from the nearest supermarket for our raw materials in order to have nutritious food at the table. My husband worked so hard to be able to provide his family the basic necessities and essential supplement and to survive this so called "life." Life that is sometimes a bit tad boring because we are in the rural area, sort of country life where houses are made of bungalow, ranchers and few buildings up to 2 to  three or four storeys. There's no skyscrapers here. So, my work at home was halt for a while from a call at the fabric store offering half price sale of  so many textiles they have at the store. Wow! Goody. It's great to know. As a club member the store usually sends me an enveloped mail with their flyer in it to let me know that they have sale items for the time period designated. A call from one of the clerks  is something unusual. I don't know if I can go there after hubby paid two miscellaneous bills: eye check-up, opthalmic lens and frame >eyeglasses for my son which cost him $329.00 and my other son had a dental check-up the other day and the cost for cleaning (without the filling) is $240.00. There that's the expenses we have to deal with here. Eye care and dental care is too expensive in Canada.

I bet there are too many kids here in this country that are in need of eye glasses but can't afford them or kids who need dental check-up and dental or dentures replacement. I watched a topic of debate actually a documentary about dental office and their dentists and clerks who were caught cheating on their patients, trying to lure them to pay so much for an ordinary dental problem. So be beware of this. We want to let them know that they cannot cheat with us. That every time there will be hidden cameras or hidden investigators to investigate on what is being sold out there: whether goods or services. First of all we don't want to be a victim and that's good enough to protect consumers' rights.

What Else Is New?

Oh my God! I was screaming at the top of my lungs when my husband arrived home with a box on his arms only to find out that he bought me a brand new sewing machine. Well , I was actually in need of a new sewing machine and I only wish for a not so expensive brand name or just the ordinary machine and to have a computerized sewing machine is really a big surprise. Imagine it has 80 unique stitches and 8 variety of ways to have buttonhole setting. The advantages of this new sewing machine is its special features: At my age my vision is not that good enough so the LED lit to see how threading done is a great advantage plus the LCD screen to set the stitches required for sewing. It has many designs and styles of stitches to choose from, the needle threading system is easy and fast. The quick set bobbin drop is extra-ordinary, handy and it's really good for its purpose. This machine is great for quilting too. Wow!

Time to  throw that old sewing machine now. I don't think somebody will want it anyway because it will need a repair and for somebody to repair it and its service cost ? Probably it is really advisable to buy a new one. Yeah my husband did a good job of buying a new machine. THANK YOU! You're the sweetest, loving, caring and generous husband in the world. Thank you very much.

Uhm, thinking...maybe that's my advance Christmas gift from him. lol.

Happilly and delighted to continue my sewing. At first had a small problem on how to use the machine. You know when it's new and computerized you really have to read the manual, the whole book of guidelines. There inside the manual I have to remind myself of using the "bobbin" designed for Brother sewing machine. No other bobbin is allowed to be used for this machine because another kind of  bobbin be of plastic or metal bobbin will damage the machine.

I made few runs of stitches to find out what kind of  stitch is needed for the fabric and its designated number on the computer screen. The tension is the first problem I encountered. Then realizing the thread from the bobbin is not hooked properly to its hook line. I went over the book again and read. That's what it is have to educate ourselves every time we use new machines. The do's and don'ts matter. Learn from mistakes and value every minute from the things and stuff  that you learn every day. It takes an experience to be knowledgeable and it takes an experience to upset a theory.

This is the last of my work from the old sewing machine and hopefully I can make better crafts and clothes with perfect stitches with the new Brother sewing machine after all it's brand new, modern and it is computerized.

Just In Case

I found this telephone directory book  very informative and educational. Telus telecommunication guide includes maps and emergency guidelines. We had this book > telephone directory many years ago and this is the only book they have complete with good stuff you need to know in emergency preparedness.

Shake, Rattle and Roll?

7.7 Magnitude Earthquake is HUGE and can be felt in areas where old buildings are not sturdy enough. However if the ground is solid it's hard to feel it. Or maybe the seismologist had an error in its machine recording of its mag. in its richter scale. Whatever? Are you a seismologist? Tell us the truth.

What types of earthquake is known to man? Let's figure that one by one:

SEISMIC. Waves of energy that travel through earth and transmitted by the P wave and S wave.

TECTONIC. Rocks in the earth's crust break due to the geological forces created by movement of tectonic plates.

VOLCANIC. Volcanic activity. Volcanic eruption.

COLLAPSE Earthquake. Small earthquake underground caverns and mines.

EXPLOSION Earthquakes. Brought on by nuclear and chemical explosion.

Another kind of QUAKE brought on by Quaker oats.

Quakers and shakers bring so much changes to planet earth and so we keep a vigil to whatever is situation out there. We hope and pray that the broadcasters on TV and Radio and other communication networks out there should provide us with effective and efficient news.Honest to goodness news please!  Calamities are not to be used as a source for their trick or treating innocent people. Be very aware!!

Don't use it as a source of your GAME Changer or game changing escapade.

What else?

N. E. W. S.

We had a wonderful hot summer this year of 2012. Actually summertime started so early this year and if the weather is getting upsetting why blame the forecaster? This is just the same as last year as if you don't know Canada's climate. Thank God we have four seasons to choose from unlike other countries who are to deal with only two seasons: dry and wet.

Farmers knew what to do with their crops. They knew what crop rotation is and most of all farmers knew how to provide shelter for their crops through "green house or hot house" or covered shelter shape of a lobster trap. That's to avail of an all year- round vegetation. That's the answer to whatever harsh season they complain about. Although the problem is this huge shelter is "costly." The only possible way to store your harvested crops are thr. canning, fermentation, drying and smoking (fish) (consider your fish as a "crop") and keeping them in freezer and other well ventilated storage for future use.

There are so many farmers here in Canada than any other countries in the world know why? Canada has the second biggest land surface in the world that is arable and rich in minerals favorable for farming. That's why Canada values the agricultural and other natural resources within this land. It is also the largest country with rich heritage and cultural endownment. It is because of this that other countries would like to benefit from it. Let say Canada is the new Egypt under King David and under King Joseph. What's in the King's dream that Joseph was able to decipher? Well is it the same code at this time and age?

Anyway, what's in the news at present time? 7.7 mag. earthquake rocks Haida Gwai area and off the coast of BC. Tsunami warning is raised from Alaska to Victoria, BC. that's according to the news on tv. Even the tsunami warning was heard in Hawaii. No television show has provided "scenes" of the earthquake's damages. I think the buildings are strong enough and because there's really no skyscraper in this area where the magnitude is. Provide steel in all buildings and if there are steel and sturdy materials with all the buildings no amount of earthquake will shake these structures.

Anyway...

I was shaken but not stirred of an old friend who had a complete make-over: breast augmentation, dental surgery, and nose lift and that brought a quake whether that person is still the same person after all the "surgeries." Shocking!

Spinning Yarns?

" The devil you know is better than the devil you don't?" Really? Are you sure? I don't have a clue. I haven't seen a devil yet. You can tweet that to those who care. Oh my what an awfully bad weather we have for the past few days and know what? Stupid rain for the whole week is predicted but you good spirit of sunshine of the eternal spotless can make a thorough change by having a reversal of fortune.

Besides little drops of rain wont really make a flood here on the mountainous part of BC. The mountain province. So if you are wondering why so many Tagalog-speaking entities here in BC is due to the fact that they probably learned their GEOGRAPHY before Google map the whole world and map the whole universe. Even Joan Pilsner had mood swing because of that. I can't blame her. It's been thirty years since life on earth stop spinning. So---With sturdy strong houses that can withstand gusty winds, typhoon and other calamities...well God forbids that hopefully we wont have such calamities not here in British Columbia. We're not so much of religious people here, I mean not too much of the so called devotees or showy religious sect but God knows we are so fortunate here. Meaning religion should not be a cult, pretentious or showy. God knows if you pray or call Him for help and you don't need to be elaborate and deeply religious freak just to call for an attention.

That's if you know what I mean.

Tell me why small creatures, the insects knew where the food is and where it can be located right away? How many times in the past that mankind seek and search for food only to follow where the insects roam. They are tiny creatures yet their "nose and sense of smell is beyond compare."

Following the dance of the bees is more ancient than it is modern. But their "civilization progressed through centuries and even if they had their rise and fall they were able to stand up on their own." What makes them tick and rise again is due to the fact that they have so called colony.

Let's drink orange juice to that. Cheers!

Lemonade? So many lemonade stories and lemonade games. Lemons. lemons why are you so popular? Let's have iced tea okay? Refreshing iced tea is good for colds. The Vitamin C in lemonade is also a cure for headaches and colds. Cheers again.

Mesmerizing and Daydreaming

The best cinematography can always be seen in fantasy movies but of course they are unreal yet sublime. So if you will watch Cloud Atlas of Tom Hanks let me know if the sceneries are beautiful and remarkable.

Whenever I see stunning, joyful and panoramic views I can only breathe as if breathing 100% pure oxygen. Mesmerize and lost to its subtle colors of life. Overwhelmed with the most powerful aura of what God has given to us naturally. Sure thing is natural wonders are truly magnanimous and really overwhelm any creatures great and small.

What I haven't seen myself doing which I love to do in the future is having photographs along rows of lively flowers as bright as sunflowers. They are so pretty to me. Lovely as if smiling in awe , splendor and wonders bringing much happiness to whoever visualize its "floral face." Kudos to the photographer of this exquisite colorful sunflowers.

I also would like being photographed here in this drawing I made long time ago. In a dreamy state of mind as my digital painting opened my mind to an exotic island filled with coconut trees, with enchanting black boulder with a unique weird image and misty mist and spooky clouds above the sky. I know sounds ridiculous just right in time for Halloween. Then have a combination of  the spoof from the movie of Jodie Foster's "Contact" and 2001: Space Odyssey. Wow! I'm not delusional or hallucinating. I have to draw something different right? Remember I have thousands digital paintings and it should not be the same with the rest of them. Differencing. Variety. Originality. Uniqueness. Ah...it's hard to be original nowadays. Though I tried.

Or would it be better being at the center of the rice terraces? I wonder if the famous rice terraces in Benguet, Baguio city still exist today? I can only hope so.

What about wandering around the vineyard enriched with plenty of grapes ready for harvest? I wish to have a picturesque photo memory while picking purple grapes and then make them into the finest wine of sort only to be kept for so many years until its time to open the bottle at the right time and at the right moment and place. Wow! Nostalgic. Romantic?! I don't have any idea of how romantic it could be. I just want a memory that I can hold to and be remembered in photographs not in drawings, not in paintings.

Photographs are accompanied with powerful light and to the light, truth can be found.

Smoking Busy! Eh?

I don't know if I will be wondering and wandering around without any point, goal or objective. I'm like this after I'm done with the laundry, after I finished cooking (cheeseburger with mushrooms without french fries). Having warned about fries last nite's news of fries being cautioned : harmful as cigarettes then no need for french fries. I'm also happy to inform you that I finished sewing the two ethnic designed prints. Two days of sewing. It took me two days because I told you that my sewing machine needs to be replaced. I know there is that wise saying that "if aint broke, why fix it?" If that machine was fixed so many times then it was actually broken. Let's make sense today okay? Not that I always tell you to have sense at all. The machine runs by magic of my hands.

It's good to know that my favorite bloggers can blog so many times a day now. Great so that I wont be the only target for "others" to gather info. lol.
Even Mr. Grumpy once asked how can so many bloggers can blog so many times in a day when he can only blog once a week or once a month. Well dude, you know what? There is that one guy who only blogs every 2 months. I think he is known and popular in London as an author of books. He probably pays for his blogs and that's what happened. While Bloggers? The blog is free for bloggers yet it's unlikely to receive payments. Are you paid to blog? We are almost like "lobbyists" here and our subject or topic becomes sort of sources for news out there while they earned money from these sources, you and me don't earn anything. Darn! Loser?!!!!Ahahahah. Sometimes it's good to be a loser. Remember the World War II? The losers were paid by the winners. How true? Any information about that? Uhm, have to seek and search that from History books. I don't think it's available in the internet. That's one thing here in the networld some of the infos are "fixed."

Husband's boat is on a standby, it's been two weeks without any catch. Where all the salmons go? Even other fish from the ocean are gone. What's happening? Is there any barrier anymore that stop the fish from staying on Canadian waters? Where all the giant algaes, seaweeds and corals? Any reef here in the Pacific ocean? I wonder. There is no natural reef in Canadian ocean? That I cannot believe and I wont dive deep down there just to find it out.

Probably this is the last of this kind of salmons for this year 2012. Lorne marinated them with just plain rock salt and brown sugar for two days.

Prepare the smoker machine outside.

Make sure there is enough bisquette with flavours of  maple.

Inside the smoker layered the marinated salmons on designated trays. The photo shows on how it's being done properly. Prepare to wait at least 10 to 12 hours of smoking those salmons. Watch and inspect every four hours just to know if the bisquettes are placed properly on its cubicle or its enough to smoke the fish.

If you don't have a smoker you can build a cheaper smoker of your own. Gather some firewood or buy bundles. But for you to use the forest as a "smoker" for your fish? Dude you'll cause fire. No wonder. I have seen one guy smoking his fish on TV and it's close to where the pipeline is. I don't know if it's sort of a satire or 22 minutes comedy act. Anyway I hope it's just a "joke." Maybe a gag or just to call attention.

Canadians are known "trappers." They are the new batch of fishermen. The hooks and hookers beware. lol. What happened to the huk and hulks of long time ago is a "passe."

Halloween's fast approaching...on Wednesday 31st of October 2012. We bought candies, chocolates and chips just to make sure we wont turn off the lights outside our home. Let the kids and people young at hearts enjoy the fun of spooky halloween. Obviously I like the Halloween idea. It helps so many business out there. Besides if you live in the northern part of the globe what else you want to do? Stay indoors most of the time and inhale the chimney's? lol.

So while I was out there in the shopping malls surprise of all surprises, the stores are already ready with Christmas theme decors. Wow! Okay I will be collecting few nutcrackers to add to my collection.

What nutcracker got to do with it? I love the story. Clara and the nutcracker is a wonderful story of  dreams and reality. It is fantasy and irresistibly executed in the most fascinating way. Mention of the tale of the Lemonade River reminds me of  the Old River in the province and my grandmother's almost fictional small island filled with watermelon, cantaloupe and jincamas.

Got nothing to do? Read pop-ups classic books: A Christmas Carol, Hark! The Herald Sing, The Nutcracker, A Child Is Born, >  to your toddlers so that they wont risk losing their vision to computers and other high tech gadgets. Read to them while they were young so that they will be able to remember you that you are their mother and they see you as their own family member not a maid or slave.

Hmm, it's good to know that maybe in the time of Jesus "high tech" was already in not out. The codes and decoding is somewhat similar in this time, in our age.

Twelve Years

DST or Daylight Saving Time began at 2 am last March 11, 2012 and will end on November 4, 2012. It's been three days in the row when I woke up so early only to be dismayed it's only 4 am or 5 am so I have to go back to sleep. But I slept the whole night soundly and in those mornings, peeking from the windows outside > was really dark and chilly temperature is giving me goosebumps. Yeah scary!

Yesterday I was in a bit of rush wanting to finish my project. It was sort of a personal project not from school or anything just my own task to do at home. While I was sorting out the thread I need to use and then trying to slip the thred to the bobbin a loud ring from our telephone was heard so many times. Then one phone rings from a survey. It was a polite, courteous student from Waterloo University asking questions for a survey regarding a restaurant and I stop her from her next statement hearing it was a "survey" make me quiver and impatient. Nothing's wrong except that a survey can take 5 to 15 minutes or more than that depends on questionnaires and many things we might end up talking. She seems really nice and being a student from a prestigious university WATERLOO is somewhat clicks to my brain that the one doing the survey must be very smart. Although the point is her question would probably be of course regarding to "restaurant" and I don't work anymore at any restaurant. So I told her, "I'm too busy right now, thank you, bye" and put the phone down.

At least I'm so nice to have said the right thing at the right moment.

My sewing continued and I have the materials: fabric, thread, needles, my sewing machine was oiled to make the runs smooth and stitches to be perfect but what the heck that the thread keeps breaking as if the thread is being cut automatically after just few runs. What's goin' on? Then how many times the machine needles got broken too. I was furiously frustrated. I can't hide my angry face. I keep changing the type of needles from leather/vinyl to just denim. The fabric is not really tough to sew. I first thought when those needles keep breaking splitting apart so fast than I could ever imagine then the fabric must be the culprit. Perhaps the needle point should be sharp and pointed so changed the denim needle because that too got broken. Later it was the "universal point needle" that suits it better. Needle not broken but the thread ? Oh my God! How many times I have to slip the thread to the hole!!!!!!!!! So many times!!!!!!!!! My husband can't help laugh at how mad I become so he said, " somebody's gonna buy a new sewing machine." Right there I smiled.

I had that Singer sewing machine for 12 years now. Yeah, I think it needs replacement. Twelve years long enough and that's probably the reason why its becoming a "troll." How many times that machine been fixed? I couldn't remember, maybe over five times and it's small bulb inside burnt out to say the least. The machine was cleaned and oiled so many times too. But when it's giving me a headache catapulted to migraines then it is really time to change that sewing machine. Fortunately in those twelve years of usage my sewing machine is indeed a good company in all my crafty needs and thank goodness 12 long years good enough for no other sewing mahine made it that long warranty and guarantee to sew better clothes and crafts.

Are You Driven To Change?

Back to the drawing board. When things doesn't make sense it's time to change. Right on?! Well according to the Economics book, economy is driven by the benevolence of the butler, butcher and the baker. How true? They can only think of food. Think of the cook will 'ya.

What happened to the teachers? the many educators?

Here at Google-Blogger the blogosphere is driven by many artists and artisans whose crafty novelty are very in demand. Several professional photographers and novelists. So many of them. It is highly competitive here. It's no longer fun...or are you having so much fun?

Most likely it's the amateurs having so much FUN here in the blogworld. They've got nothing to lose. The heartaches go to the professionals who keep hiding from their pseudonyms.

Am I hackable? Dude, you know what consequences are? You hack my work and my world you'll pay big time!

The economy is also driven by mothers all over the world who keep themselves busy in "universal duties and obligations of parenting." No one can take the roles of mother. However let's be grateful or thankful that we have loving partners who help us at home and how we can be busy with other kind of work aside from household chores.

Economy is also driven by seamstress, dressmaker and tailors. You cannot be naked out there most of the time. You need clean clothes and fashionable clothing to wear in all kinds of weather condition.

The economy works well with the carpenters to assure all of us of better quality homes, townhouses, apartments and condominiums. Carpenters are builders so we might as well include them.

I will concentrate on this  "leopard print fleece project"  in the next few hours. Thank goodness I finished the violet spandex fabric for my trendy fashionable outfit for Halloween. Four meters of fabric used in this project = of a long dress, party dress actually with a unique shawl, one fabulous blouse and trousers. Finished in one day heck of sewing. Unbelievable? Hmm, actually 12 hours only! I'm no superwoman when it comes to sewing. I'm just in the mood to finish it right away so that I can concentrate on a new task.

Would it be better if I just buy a costume at Walmart? A costume for kids is you have to either rent or just buy at the store. You can save lots of money and time by buying your children's costume at walmart. Besides your kids would like to appreciate a given choice, more choices to see and choose at Walmart store is better than you sewing it for them. Kids are choosy and picky you have to be reminded of that time and time again.

Make sure you have digital camera for photo memories so that when they grow up you have something to remember them and your children to look up to...who their favorite heroes are. ( I wonder why photos here at Blogger is clear and brighter than at facebook. What's wrong over there?)

Who my favorite hero? Uhm, secret!

Let There Be Light

With the oil, gas reserves and other natural resources available to Canada have you think this country is indebted? In what? Maybe other countries are indebted from this country.

I hate to say this nor state this fact to the whole world.

So why we cannot provide LIGHT up there? You may question me and I will answer you with the word CONSERVATION.

What's in the ozone layer? What is OZONE? Is that word derived from the word lanZONEs? It is widely open during September and closed down on mid October. What the hell is that? Is that Santa Claus's chimney? Aahhahaah what a joke! That's the "open manhole" of a giant. nah it's actually the mouth of an extinct volcano. From Babylonian myth. Canada receive solar light during winter powered by halogen or sometimes by satellites. Or you can ask your favorite scientist named Bob.

Canada has to conserve so that we have enough resources for future use. Not only resources we have to conserve but also TIME.

Remember the DST = Daylight Savings Time. That will take effect soon also.

CANADA is a STORAGE of  all kinds of food known to mankind. It is also the storage of all SEEDS, BULBS, and NATURAL RESOURCES available to mankind including WATER. Currents flow like great rivers and if it continue to flow unabashedly then you are risking your own country's resources. So slow down will 'ya.

Think of  the cooling period and the ICE AGE. It will do you good for the next few months.

Be very alert. Be always prepared just like the scouts do. As I'm writing this message  the bright sunlight appeared in the sky.

.

The Latest Is Not Really Late

Forget about the jump. Let's have Van Halen do it or Baumgartner and other jumpers. My beautiful and cute babies had their jump too at a very young age using jumper and slides. I had a jump long time ago from the bamboo bridge and my siblings had their famous jump from the top of the bridge down to the river in Basur in Quezon province. We all have to jump on New Year's Eve as a sign of goodwill and well, to increase the height. I know that's ridiculous.

While some but rather few had their jump from grade school right away to secondary schools. Wowww! Genius. lol. Who that eh? Maybe "that BIG!!!!" J/K

Oh no! Not feeling potato here or peeling anything nor being couch potato 'cuz I really want a tub chair. Actually I wish for a walk-in bath tub you know those tubs frequently advertised for seniors. I like those efficient effective bath tub with a sit-in or built-in seat. That's the most relaxing bath tub I've ever seen. Great for old people with backaches and pains and other disability.

My normal day is back to house cleaning and preparing food. Sometimes my kids can make their own food if they want they can just heat the food in the microwave. That's when they are over picky and choosy. They know how to use can opener right? After all my house is not a restaurant. I have to clean the garage and I did mop the floor. Done. Finished. Mr. Clean awesome fresh scent liquid cleaner is truly amazing. I like the scent of its freshness just like the mountain scent smell and open-window fresh for Swiffer Sweeper. They should have "pine scent" instead , next time. I don't like the other mop refill of febreze lavender and vanilla. I think "flowers" can really give me allergy. No doubt about it. I had two loads of laundry yesterday and none for today.

I'm supposed to start my sewing soon but you know me being moody. If its not in conformity with my mood or I'm missing some materials then I wont start with it, and so that's how artists are "very moody and artistically lazy." You think they are lazy but their minds are battling with other million ideas. That's why.

People with creative talents are perfectionist. I see myself like that of a painter who used to paint his obra maestra on canvas while the TV camera keeps rolling to capture his prowess and expertise on the stroke of his brush on his easel and palettes and the choice of colors are then magnified on what his aiming at his canvas and the result is totally magnificent work of art. Then what happened while he has extra time he re-examined everything and then continues to paint and talk on and on and lost with his art suddenly his painting becomes an excess. It was already perfect and then while he continued to work on it suddenly the aura of mystery is lost. He is a genius with his art and his style is like no other as if he was born with the paint brush on his right hand and an easel on his left arm. However he should have somebody to stop him from over doing it like overcrowding the space of the canvas.

So while I was at the garage doing the cleaning the phone rang so many times. It was a call from the school that all diplomas are ready for pick - up. The ORIGINAL DIPLOMA from the Ministry of Education has arrived. Thank GOD! Thank goodness. I also have to pick up  the DVD Grad. copy for my teens.

What else needs to be done? Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.....

The Day After The Jump

Yesterday we drove off to downtown area and noticed the awesome foliage on both sides of the road. Wishing I could get out of the vehicle and take snapshots of those colorful trees whose leaves showing its amazing colors but we are in a hurry to catch up something.

 This is along Dogwood area.

Then at Homewood area ... nice abundant colors in yellow, orange, red and greens.

The view today at this morning...foggy! Yuck! Spooky and creepy. Only in movies? Foggy scenes are always expected in the months of  September, October, November, December, January up to March. You may wonder why. What's causing fog? Oh I think have told you about fog and its definition right? So better not explain it here or I might get repetitious and you'll throw me rotten tomatoes. lol

Oopss, sorry my son,  have to post your artwork here. This is my son Cade's artwork about aliens. Could it be that there are aliens amongst us? How will I know? How I would know? There so many key questions. Who, what where, when and a question mark.

Suddenly I'm craving for lemon-o-lime.

Another artwork of him is this talented young girl. I have seen her before on TV. I think she is a musician, singer and song writer.

Eggs? Easter bunny for October? Weird but amazing! Easter bunny on Halloween after all it's a clebration of candies and chocolates on that very special day for kids everywhere.
