It's Monday today. One of my busiest day because it's the start of the regular school days for my kids. Preparing what clothes for them to wear. What food they have to eat for breakfast. I usually wake up before 7 am. Get ready with the usual pancake with butter on top. This time I copied my Mother's special pancake. I added slices of young coconut meat on the flour mix with one beaten egg and milk. Even my husband Lorne loves it. My eldest son's doesn't like pancake though. He settled for his favorite ham. He wants the crunchy ham for breakfast.

Why is it every Mom has problem with meal preparation? I have problems the same way as you do. If we all can just cook or bake anything that we really like without others being fuzzy about food. That we may conclude that we are totally different when it comes to our likes and dislikes.
We have favoritism. We have something in common and we all have food that we hate.

Imagine someone giving or serving you a meal that you don't eat because you have an allergy. Or the meal that is presented is a taboo to your religious belief. It is okay to be honest to the ones who invited you that you don't eat such kind of meal. Instead of bitching about the food that is on the table.

Thanksgiving Day is already over in Canada and Christmas holiday is fast approaching. That's why Canadians are busy looking for work (if they are unemployed). While those who are still working are busy saving money if there's any left over after they paid so much bills like mortgages, hydro (electric & gas), vehicle (maintenance, oil, gas, tire). The money saved for Christmas shopping and for the feast.

While in the USA, their Thanksgiving Day is on the 27th of November > Thursday. How they gonna count their blessings probably depends on who their country's leader is. What he can offer to the people in times of "bail out." Why I mentioned this? America is now a country of bail outs. I don't know their strategy under Democratic rule. Here in Canada we'll probably have Bailey's in times of Harper Row's regime.
