Filipiniana Section

You know what I like in the Filipiniana section of Shoemart? The handicrafts mostly made from capiz or handfinished and polished seashells from abalone, oysters and other crafts made from other shellfish unknown to me. They're truly valuable piece of art. The ingenuity of filipino hands are shown in a very meticulous way of shaping Filipino arts and culture. After school my friend Luz and I frequently visit that department store for its product that are highly graded for excellence when it comes to product quality. Great for export that's why. Other Filipiniana section is located somewhere in Quiapo where handicrafts abound. In that area you can bargain for discount. Smart way of trading. No need to pay so much for the price that you can afford especially when you love haggling. Oh my love to shop. Shopping is normally a lady's thingy, it's a way of life.

Handicraft : Placemats, coasters made from the finest capiz and table napkins with embroidery made from the finest thread blend of abaca and jusi.

When to use the placemat is probably today? It's my brother Angelito's birthday today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear brother. Hope you have special pancit for long life while we're having pancit palabok the choice of my children for lunch. Uhm, not to forget it's the TWINS birthday tomorrow.
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADE and TAMARA. Wishing you more birthdays to come.
