Movie Time

Tam's watching her favourite television show and then all of a sudden the trailer of the movie Mockingjay, starring Jennifer Lawrence> was on TV screen ; her eyes widened and looked at me saying she wants to watch the movie in the cinema. How long ago we watched a movie at the cinema? The last time was Star Wars : Attack of the Clones. Then the last movie that my sister and I watched at the cinema was the movie " Knowing." That was it and I decided just to rent a movie every now and then.

How long ago is that? Long, long time ago. I don't need to sing "bye bye miss american pie eh?" So KNOWING was shown at the cinema in year 2009. I think had the story told here in my blog in Year 2009. I am the kind of person just waiting for new movies to watch on VOD. Economically cheaper I think. I don't even know how much is a movie ticket. Wait, have to ask my son.

I couldn't believe that a movie ticket is worth $15. That is incredibly shocking! Then if you will buy a bag of pop corn and cold softdrinks? tsk! tsk! Prepare $30 for a trip to the cinema. Now you know why I don't watch movie at the cinema and better just watch or rent a movie and watch the movie at the convenience of our home with free refreshments. lol

Movies I 'm waiting to watch once they become available at VOD: Maze Runner, Mockingjay Part I and many other new movies for the year 2014.

Funny how it made me watch the Filipino movie of Sharon Cuneta. I never watch her movie , then all of a sudden I watched it last night and my daughter Tam can't help laughed at the ending of the movie "The Crying Ladies." What is so funny with the movie? The movie is filmed in the Philippines and the language is in Tagalog and Chinese. The movie revolves around three crying ladies who are paid to cry at funerals for wealthy Chinese families. Hmm, I think it was really humorous with portions of drmatic sequence. Full of sarcasm and irony. Totally weird movie or drama episode for "reel life." Sharon's singing voice is not as good as before, although she looks chubby in this "movie" her skin complexion is almost flawless. Parang Japanese beauty sya not Filipina. Her acting? Puede na rin. What Drew Barrymore and Sharon Cuneta have in common? They are good actress.

Hmp! Time to wear my toque, malamig kasi. Dami ko ng toque collection.
