Yey! It's FAMILY DAY today. Of course we all celebrate family day every day, some celebrate it every year I think or only when they get together or have reunion like every four years or five years. I am not an OA or over acting about this kind of celebration. Old people are surely not into this kind of mind thinking. Maybe for people who are into movies and actors and actresses trying to promote a wholesome family.
To tell you the truth, we all live under one roof and if we have lunch or dinner, my daughter and I stayed beside the dining table, then one member of our family sit on his recliner and face the TV. Two members of the family sit and eat facing their computers. Natural way! That's how comfortable every one here at my home. I don't know what's wrong with our table. It could be because it's "Hampton's." The oval corn blue country table and arrowback chairs set was sold after we moved here at the newly built house. Two dining set wont fit in this house unlike in another house in Greystone but that's okay. My children are all grownups, they have their own mind and because we live in Canada when grown-ups over twenty years old have minds of their own.
I was asked to discipline my kids. For what? My kids do not have barkadas. They are not troublemaker. They don't drink wine or beer (maybe only occasionally during the holidays esp. at Christmas time and New year). My kids do not smoke and they don't have any vice at all. I have good kids. They never been into trouble. They are only into computers. They are handsome, smart and talented. Do they have friends? They have friends and I think their friends are also the same computer tech geeks. They are like "Robbie Shapiro's kind of geeky-nerdy attitude" The loveable smart guy of Victorious. Maybe they also are inspired by the billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. Who knows? He is the role models for millions of youth in our generation. There's nothing wrong with that. Remember, we are in Canada when children and teens are not that into terrorizing other people and property.
I know that's sooooo awfully boring for you. You would rather expect your children to be like "Luke" or Darth Vader. Or maybe James Dean? Rebel without a cause? Falling into the dark side is somewhat unreasonable just because you think Darth Vader looks cool. If that's the kind of future for you then something is wrong with you.
It's Family Day and at the same time it's the PRESIDENT's DAY. Last Friday was the birth anniversary of Abraham Lincoln and every president should celebrate their very special day today. How to celebrate it is up to them... they know what to do. Have fun whether you have a family or not and be happy because you are here on Earth because God wants you to be alive.
