In celebration of Mother's Day got to choose what I want for my garden. As usual I was looking for a new species of petunia. A different variety, very different species from the previous years. I kept on looking and searching and I can't find what I really like.
There are petunias that are cute but the trumpet or bell shaped flowers are too small. There are two different colors of somewhat faded lime colored petunia but they looked withered due to the heat of the hot, hot sun. We bought something else. A nice, healthy, fresh palm tree suddenly looked so amazing and my husband was kind of surprise to see me holding and carrying the pot of palm tree.
OMG! As if the island is located in Hawaii and I get to enjoy the palm tree. Sure for the long summer heatwave, I will use it as an awesome shade and fan. lol. j/k
Right beside the amazing palm tree is would you believe a beautiful pot of fuschia bougainvillea!!!!! OMG! Now have to dream that I'm in Caribbean or at the isles of Greece or located at the Mediterranean island.
Here with me is my darling daughter who is also my photographer. We truly love the wisteria plant in this Garden Centre.
Got to hold it of course and touch and feel the wisteria and make a wish. Do you think it's best for them to have a wishing well or fountain?
Really, don't need to go to Japan just to visit their wisteria tunnel of love because there's also wisteria in this part of the island.
Then I realized we have to buy and plant some herbs including eggplant. My husband bought some younger cucumber plants, cantaloupe (melon) instead of watermelon. We can't find the zucchini plant.
One more time with feelings. Wisteria you are one of a kind! HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!
Wishing all the loving and caring Mothers around the world continue to love and cherish their children and may we all blessed as we accept the blessings from God above. Gratitude to my family and especially to my husband who gifted me with plants and flowers for my garden.
