After breakfast this morning this is what my family watched, the Rosebowl Parade in Pasadena, California. This fabulous showmanship of artistry and creativity is held every year on New Year's Day. The gorgeous float above is what I like at that moment. I haven't seen the whole parade though.
There are many gorgeous parade floats with creative theme using fresh flowers from roses to all kinds of flowers and agricultural products.
Canada should have something of this one of a kind festival.
What happened last night: We had our New Year's Eve dinner at my sister Emmy's house. Lots of foods to feast on and be happy. After dinner, we watched episodes of "Stranger Things on Netflix." Home before 9pm. Although there are local fireworks here at the island and the blasting sound's noisy we didn't get out to watch it at 12 midnight.
We are already at bed at 10 pm watching Novoland: Eagle Flag. Episode: Yuran finally revealed herself as an "angel" and her aunt tried to stop her transformation. Jiye rescued her from being killed but he got wounded by aunt's loyal warriors and then unconsciously collapsed, to the rescue suddenly Asula arrived just in time to help them but the aunt seemed relentless about to stab Asula. Yuran didn't wait any chances and killed her own aunt. The aunt was happy anyway that she could finally be free at last, that in dying her mortal human form will be taken away but she will be transformed as an angel. Whatever! That could be the interpretation of that Chinese tele-series. To be continued tonight for another episode.
We also watched Bryan Adams and his band (on TV) sung their latest hitsongs to welcome the New Year in Canada.
Jonas Brothers were one of the special band artists who performed for the Dick Clark's in welcoming the New Year last night, hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
More fireworks were heard next after one another.
Wishing everyone a brand new, prosperous, successful, healthy HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Let us rejoice & be glad. GOD BLESS US!
