Sunflowers

It's hard to believe but what can we do if the sunflowers already have flowering buds? Even if they haven't reach 10 ft. to 16 ft. in height yet.

Yup, to see is to believe.

Sunflowers are only 4 ft. tall and the shortest are just barely 3 ft. tall in height this year of 2020. What happened? Last year, the sunflowers' flowers bloomed end of July 2019 to August 2019 and their height measured over 10 ft. to 14 ft at least. Strange, because I didn't use "miracle gro" for fertilizer this year. Maybe because the swarm of pollinating bees came too early this year or maybe because of the weather temperature.
