Because the totality of solar eclipse happened only on certain designated areas of Canada, in Ontario & Quebec. Then in certain parts of USA and Australia, Mexico... it is best to watch the news on TV. At least we wont damage our eyes and vision, not that I wished that for those who watched the sky without protective solar eclipse sunglasses. I just hope they used or wear protective sunglasses when they watched the T. S. E.
I know it happened last Monday, April 8, 2024.
But would like to post what we saw on our TV.
Thanks CBC NEWS NETWORK for providing such one spectacular or once in a lifetime event in the sky.
The next totality of solar eclipse to happen in Canada will be in the year 2044.
I wonder what happened to those "animals at the zoo" whom they observed during the eclipse.
I remember what happened to the cat we are babysitting when the partial eclipse happened in 2017, the cat just "dropped dead' ( lol, jk) the cat all of a sudden fell asleep on the ground in our backyard.
