Officially, Autumn Begins Today!

In my own opinion AUTUMN has begun after the windstorm that toppled down so many old age trees in Vancouver mainland and other trees within the island. Due to the summer heat wave causing so much wildfires million of trees were savagely burnt to ashes and trees who were left behind whose leaves have turned from green to yellow, yellow to orange, then orange to red and some of them turned brown and had fallen due to the wind and heavy rainfall. Almost the same case scenario year after year. So what is not normal in this part of the world?

Fall Season would be the best season ever for Fall Sale in some of the major stores and department stores in Canada and the U.S. It is the time of the year when most of the retail stores will have to sell their summer products: garments, clothes,  shoes, bags, accessories to have them all out from their stockroom so that they can be ready with new arrival stocks of new season products for the long duration of fall and winter season extravaganza.

I had a chance to drop by at the Dollarama which is a retail store for anything economically approved household items, kitchen gadgets, a store where you can find most of your crafts and art goodies, art supplies, chocolates, candies, biscuits and cookies, greeting cards, costumes,  and anything of knick-knacks. Whatever that is. Dollar store has started its business of providing low priced items of "one dollar" per item actually. What a bargain right? However when Dollar stores were then approved for the Stock Exchange then the price of their retail products have increased in its value. Seldom you see a product tagged with C$1.00 nowadays. The highest priced item is worth C$3.00 (one product/ worth C$3).  Then rumors had it that the value of product will increase up to C$4.00

Before that price increase happened,  I bought some pretty scarves. I'm collecting scarves, shawls  pashmina, and winter bonnets and or toques. So far,  I have at least 30 scarves and shawls to choose from which some of them are accessory to enhance solid color dress and blouse. Well of course these scarves are not only to make fashion statement,  but because when its cold,  scarves brought comfort,  joy and warmth to your neck, head and body.

Some of my scarves, shawls, and wraps bought from different Canadian stores. My first scarf was purchased at Air Canada (flight from Canada to Philippines). Two of the wool scarves were bought at Ardene, two scarves bought from People's Drug Mart, some of those pashmina shawls were bought from Zellers and Saan and 6 from Dollarama and wrap-around from Philippines bought by my sister and one scarf given by my sister-in law from Sears and one winter scarf  was a gift from my good friend. Five scarves I personally made (sewn) for my satisfaction.

Have a Happy and safe Autumn Season!
