Happy Or Not, It's Labor Day

LABOR DAY? Labor Day or Labour Day is a holiday for most of the workers in Canada and the US. I don't know if you work today or work with double pay but really it's up for your employer to do the payment of wages. Workers who are unionized have pay on holidays even if they don't work. Automatically, it's a work with pay and if you don't work on that day then no wage for such worker. Every company is different from another company or corporation. Simple rules are followed in small business transactions and complicated rules are followed and must abide in big corporations because of "contract." With written contract all the rules and regulations are there and you just have to read them one by one.

There is another form of labor and that's the delivery of babies. It is also called "labor" and in this situation Mothers are not paid for their labor no matter how painful and excruciating the ordeal of having a baby. The normal delivery or normal labor is a traumatic experience for most of the mothers in this world. It is a situation and condition that is extraordinary for that someone to bear all the pain. Normal delivery is the most hurting, bloody painful labor although epidural is also used by doctors to be administered to the expecting mother still is the pain wont stop until they are healed. There could be complications. The caesarian operation in giving birth is not painful but mentally nerve-wrecking even if there is anaesthesia involved. Epidural is used to induced labor and pain is minimal however the opening of the stomach, of the womb is more than traumatic for some mothers simply there is that extra long scar on their stomach, there's blood ...  and they have to bear with the pain for days until the scar is healed. Only those who had experienced the operation can speak of their hurt and pain. Every pain is different and every degree of pain is up for those who can manage the pain, really it's up for those who can can bear it.

For the sado-masochistic (pseudo-masochistic) it seems that there is no amount of pain that can stop them to bear more. These people are lovers of pain.

No pain, no gain.

I hate pain.

Happy or not, it's LABOR DAY and it's better to celebrate work with pay because you benefit from it and your families benefit from its cause, rather than working without pay, because we are humans and humans have greater needs more than what animals  need. Animals are not paid for their work because they are animals and they are used without consent or permission for any kind of work. Now you know the difference. Thank God for work with pay!

THE GOVERNMENT believes in the WORK WITH PAY.  Workers pay their taxes and taxes are used to do the work of the government.
