Our trip to Courtenay is more of a surprise. We were surprised that they didn't have much snow on the road. They plowed the snow out of the road. Or it's just that they have a busy traffic going on the highway that the road is almost as dry like the summer road that we had before. But not on the horizon. The site on the side of the road has more snow and not melted yet. I was able to capture the Black Creek area of course through the help of my camera. Snapping pictures here and there on the way. Black Creek is a farming community with herds of cows, sheep, horses, chicken, goats, and other mammalian species. I missed other views and a group of wild ducks frolicking on the beach along the shore on the way home. It could have been a great subject for my photography. Knowing their feathers with tantalizing depths of colors in peacock blue, teal and brown and mauve will move everyone's vision. We had a good shopping spree. We bought items that we really need and whatever is on the list. Hoping whoever will receive those presents will be happy enough to express their gratitude. My daughter saw some familiar faces at the department store and it made her smile. But those people cannot seemed to remember or have no reaction otherwise they have blank facial expression. Uhm, never mind maybe they cannot recognize facial images or something. While the man on a visionary rotation checking something within his grasp made some funny reactions and his sign language is somewhat un-comprehensible? Then we heard loads of laughter from the clerks at the Customer section desk office. What sign language is that? Well, you know the American sign language is different from Canadians. What about the Filipino sign language? Must be a difficult one. Ahahahha. Yeah they were playing sort of a bridge I think.
Then somebody from the speaker said something like " Tell us something we don't know about."
In my thought I said, "YOU'RE FIRED!"
Still thinking about missing those wild ducks and albatross which I should have them snap with my camera. Anyway, back at home when there is much snow at the terrace and looking at the dump of snow on our barbecue makes me wanna wish for springtime to come as quick as a snap like magic. Ah, time will tell. So back to feeding my kids thinking I should have bought hamburger and fries at McDo so that there's no need for me to cook on that day. I checked the fridge and saw that there is a food plate of spaghetti good enough for my daughter. For me? I settled for fried egg. To my surprise I was shocked a bit when I cracked the egg on the cast iron pan, the egg starts to spread forming like a ______and that's what you can see on the picture in this blog. Showed it to my kids and asked them what they can see on the plate. Okay they replied the same way. Kinder surprised? The spirit is alive I can tell 'ya right now!
