Christmas Year 2009

After having my ramblings and musings yesterday you wont believe what happened. The sky cooperated in giving a generous amount of snowflakes. Lotsa, lotsa and tons of it. Snowy winter wonderland once again in my old home town of 50, 000? I hope we are still in that population count eh? Or maybe the city only had 30,000 inhabitants and the rest are visitors, actually. Only the city statistics and bureau of census knew it all. Maybe, maybe not.

Great if the population exceeds to over 50,000 in this city. Busy street, busy malls, and more trading and commercializing which is good for the economy. I do not know if the same situation applies to the many seniors in this community. You know old people would rather redeem this city for themselves. Like the "Cocoons." Hehehe! Hahaha! A peaceful, quiet, no crime, a retirement place that is equal to utopia. I cannot blame them for they probably hate the big city with its bustling, hounding busy streets full of red light and the many crimes being committed by the juvenile delinquents.City life is fast paced, loud and has lots of loops and hoops. Not really good for those retirees. The urban vs rural life which will you choose when you grow old?

I am well adapted to an environment that has all the easy access to transportation, to the mall,  hospital and to the camp. Life here in country side rural area is boringggggggggggggggg! I will die here sooner than later. I found myself like caged in an island being in the set of  "The Lost" the hit TV show that me and my kids are waiting for to watch but never arrive on our channel. That maybe we might hook up with Telus TV instead of Shaw. Of course its not us connecting to the wires but the television cable duh!

Been peculiar with my Christmas tree changing ornaments, adding and subtracting then later putting them altogether but in different sides of the tree. Every time I took photographs of the tree made me upset that something is wrong. One side has no hanging ornament or not decorated properly or uneven. Ha! It made me sick. I stop for a while and gather  some of the items that we bought yesterday and started wrapping them. I first thought I had them all wrapped up when here comes my husband with some additional items so  wrap them all up, have some pretty bows on top and placed them under the  tree.

So here it is my family has our 2009 Christmas tree with gold and silver motif. Nothing fancy just the spirit and joy of knowing Yuletide is here.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

P.S. I'm just about to log off my blog when suddenly here comes my husband again with a bowl of home made spicy chili beans  for my son. Great!
