My very own perception was challenged the other day because of the many images, multiple images that were scattered along the wall of this very special site. The view is captivating to say the least because of its color , vibrant color. The green and blue colors are soothing to the eyes. At least not the usual white paint on the wall that makes me float like a balloon or blimp. Yes the blue-green effect is very refreshing. I love it. It doesn't shock my nerves. I have to take good care of my eyes without them I don't know how I can write, blog and post pictures here. I don't know how I can find the way or the path best to tread on and stay away from the beaten path.
Not only my sense of perception was challenged but also my memory. I found myself being in a very strange room where too many strangers were invited and you'll never know who are strangers there or the regular occupants. I wish that the "regular occupants or the administrators and staff whould wear uniform. How much is a uniform to make that place a nice unified establishment of anything about acquisition of knowledge. The government should provide mandatory allowance for all the workers especially the admin. staff so that we can distinguish who are the workers from the subordinates. Let them wear ID too with their names. Uhm, maybe I'll suggest that to the officials of that building.
How to retrieve long lost memory? I myself have problem dealing with memeory. I am not afflicted with alzheimers yet. Not me although from time to time, with too many mental images and having a long memory in my mind (filled up and over flowing memory like gigabytes of data in CD Ram) it takes a while to reply from somebody's questioning of past events.
Now here comes the moment when I was holding on to the tong (not the thong, nor the tung, it's not even a tang) while getting food from the big container of sotanghon, a woman approached me while she was chatting with me i suddenly remember something, it automatically flashed a memory that I have seen a woman on that street walking through that street and I almost wave my hand at her realizing she is the friend I worked with in the MV. Then here comes the friend co worker in a different clothing but then when I was about to ask her something she decided to go home because her "cord or string was ripped." That was 6 years ago. Only to find out that I'll be seeing that woman again and she was there on a wheel chair. Uhm, they can't be two different woman. Unless if they are twins. However I know how to differentiate the other one from the two. Instinct. And hopefully 6th sense!
Anyway, retrieving memory is simply irresistible when there is a test. This week is a series of test for school children. And while I was in my own world trying to figure out what to paint this time. I am not really into oil painting. I usually use the digital computer painting for it's my choice of doing the process without too much hassels. You know that using oil paint bothers me. It gives me allergy and headache. The worst thing is it really hurts my eyes. Although this oil based pastel colors affect my vision also get in the way I finished my drawing. Not the kind of result that I want or least that I expect because I don't really know how far I can go with oil painting as a way to show how perception and memory affects us all.
Memory is featured in a pyramidal image the lower slope on the left is short term and the lower right slope is the long term. At the center is a place for encoding, storage and retrieval. Whatever codes are gained from this mental image is sort of an approach to simple psychology. The more complicated the place and the many symbols and images present in that area of concentration the more it gives you the complexity of your mind spell bounding effect and what human life is all about.
I KNOW you love to get the KEY from me. You'll have problem.
