VANCOUVER 2010 OLYMPIC GAMES focused their own version of the ORIGIN OF LIFE. WE all know that right? It was a success game event and it's finished. All Canadians participated including the non-Canadians (Permanent residents, immigrants, athletes, and visitors).
What the 28th Commonwealth Games in New Delhi has provided the TV viewers? India's own version of the origin of life has something to do with a very exotic tree. From this TREE of knowledge their own people lavishly adorned themselves in luxuries and wealth, beautifully made clothing and accessories made from the finest quality exotic fibers. They learned to flourish abundantly in their cultural expectations within their country, they learned to dance and sing and they trade in , then centuries passed and they've learned to admire the religion Buddhism and worship a giant image or statue that they think could help them with their existence. What happened is catastrophic. They were atomized. That's why you are seeing so many of them with big face and big heads, the teapots and kitchen utensils are too big for them to even carry. Then the train and pedicabs abound the scenery. From such a beautiful paradise scene of tremendous wealth they end up in poverty. Then the man they mostly adored and admired came into the scene --Gandhi, the father of modern India > for them he is their benefactor and god (?). The one that they looked up to and who guided them to the "exodus." For them he is their freedom fighter and the "moses' for their strength and unity against oppression.
Well folks that's my own interpretation. You can have your own interpretation. My version of interpreting their presentation is based on how the Queen's baton was delivered by Mr. Kumar to Prince Charles. On the other hand before Prince Charles speech, a message to the people who attended the 28th Commonwealth Games, he mistakenly (?) placed the Queen's baton facing the wall with the big O symbol. What could be the meaning of that gesture? Loud noise was heard. See from that moment the think tank movement has their own reply for that symbolism. And it was done!
We are all different from outside. We have different face, and skin color but we are the same inside. We all have feelings and you may never know we all think alike. When we start to think alike , there are group of people who will try to contradict that opinion. For them COMMON thinking is dangerous and hazards to the potentials and principles of others. But...common good > yes for the common good and for the good and welfare of the population MAJORITY RULES.
All the while the Amazing Race of Jerry Bruckheimer came screeching non-stop in three TV networks or channels. The contestants trying to get in to the open air market only to sell pairs of sunglasses to the West africans. They installed television antennaes on the roof top for their shanties so that each family would benefit the modern technology through watching television shows. The rest of the contestants finished their tasks went to choose exquisitely designed coffins they've chosen lobster, piano, and other strange or oddly made coffins, funny it may seemed for those who will attend the funeral. I can't imagine what would it be like when their dead relative is placed on such a fantastic burial dugout. I mean one coffin could take so much space on the land when their own house is too small for them to live in. Hope you don't mind but it is really disturbing. However we have to respect their culture and radition for the love for their dead relatives meant so much to them that even in death they have to provide the best burial and ceremony that they wont forget.
It reminds me of my auntie who paid P50,000 the amount of a beautifully adorned coffin. The coffin is made of fine quality wood, mahogany fully varnished and painted that you can see how shiny it is. The inside part is made of fine satin fabric with ruffes and trimmings and lace with satin pillow and the whole ceremony was extravagant. Flowers not included in the bill. Wreaths alone are costly. Probably P10,000/wreath.That's how much she loves her own mother. The wake lasted for two weeks, waiting for the many relatives and friends and the food and drinks abound. Food are distributed to the many people who paid their respect. The whole ceremony end up with so much bills to pay. More than one hundred thousand pesos for the burial! That's why it is best to have insurance.
