What if Canada is actually the moon and the moon is actually the North Pole? The ice berg melt down and then the land is ready for occupancy. Who should take over? Not because you put your flag on a land that belongs to another country doesn't mean it's owned by that country whose flag resides. There could be legal complications right? I think this kind of BS was tackled already at the time of Christ. Hasn't been solved up to now...

The first one who can mark it with flag then that belongs to that "country." BUT where are you getting the money for that plan. You can plant your flag there but whose money or capital you have to use. That's what happened to Canada. Whose MONEY you are using?
