The end of flyfishing season at the river is over! Summer is over thank God. We had so much fun enjoying the sun and it's heatwave that caused so much fire and stroke to individuals who were choked by its hotness. Forest fires here and there also houses on fire, oh what an incredible summer we had in Canada. Turning anew leaf will take sometime maybe not. Foliage has its limit and before you can even imagine the leaves are starting to fall one by one. Well not with our maple tree here. Our tree still bears the green opportunity.
Many fishermen had enjoyed their time flyfishing and caught plenty of fish. Lorne and Romy caught so many bundles and knowing the whole family, the clan and friends love salmons, plenty is never enough. Off they went to try and sail the boat to point of destination along the passage way where several boaters and avid fishermen tread to dare the life at sea. How many times they caught nothing. Too many boats, too many fishermen and the school of fish probably changed their position on the blue waters. When water is never still from daily routines of mobility the fish and other marine animals will look for some other area where they can exist longer and have a habitat designed for them to swim freely. I know you heard stories of people who fortunately boast about catching the biggest fish such as sturgeons. Sturgeons the bearer of the high price most coveted expensive black eggs called "caviar" which according to old wise sayings is an "aphrodisiac." Really?! No wonder caviar is costly! So they let go of the sturgeons no matter how large they are almost the size of big canoes so that these prized sturgeons can produce more in their natural habitat, the Canadian ocean where else.
At the total drama island: Reality is not fantasy. Real fish with true real people.
The duo went to try sail the boat to different route this time and managed to catch four big salmons. Chinook variety's not bad. Two salmons for my sister's family and two chinook for us. One measures 29 inches long, 20 inches wide (diameter-chest) and another one measures 27 inches long and and 19 inches wide. That big eh? I can't even lift them. It's heavy. I mean I have problem lifting them together. Great for smoked salmons of course.
So Cheers! to the duo brave fishermen for their expertise. They are now the skilled fishermen of the Lemonade River.
Bottoms up. Bottoms down. Cheers again! Oh my what a peach coolers you have there. Anybody with a peach vodka?
Now let us have soya for our pewter.
Nakakasuya na ba? It's great to end my blog in fireworks but nobody's buying such goodbyes. My blog is not a shooting star nor a haley's comet so bear with me until the end of time.
