There's a contest about camouflage as a theme for special artwork and that made me worked on these samples. I recommended it to my son who's into arts and graphics maybe he would be interested in joining such contest besides it's for his age, not for me because I'm too old for this. I don't know if he followed my advice. Anyway, this is not for the contest it's just for my own self-interest after all I am very creative in so many ways.
Camouflage as way to disguise itself from beyond recognition, cover, incognito is simply natural for so many animals and insects (such as: chameleon, octopus, cuttlefish, owls, snakes, salamander, lizard, cat family, fish, ladybugs, crocodiles, aphids, birds, butterfly, moth, caterpillar) in order to survive and propagate. Disguises and camouflage is also being adopted (well duh, eversince) in the military as a tactical to practical in defense mechanism. It is considered as highly specialized skills.
Look at this spyro. Can you recognize it at first? Actually don't even know the name of that creature have to ask my daughter who has that memory intact when it comes to naming certain characters with the like of the pokemon and digimon characters which are difficult to even utter nor to remember them one by one is just chicken feed for her.
Then this statue of Venus de Milo. Not so much of an incognito. She is a zephyr. Beautiful Venus whose hands are missing or her hand was cut off naturally or because it was damaged when the volcano erupted in Pompei many centuries ago. Pompei a name also given to a certain malady in the movie "Executive Measures."

Lastly, the blessed palm or palaspas. When is Palm Sunday? Do you know? Remember the time had that "palm" on top of the one year and half laptop computer I had before and took photo of it and later something weird happened. According to the technician the laptop computer was toasted. Oh really?! Hard to believe eh? But all the photographs and other documents were recovered safely from that toasted computer laptop. hahaha. I think that's funny. It reminds me of Harrison Ford's "Indiana Jones and The Lost Ark."
Would you believe that the scene from that movie where they had the ark inside the six by six reminds me of our family's moving from the province to Fort Bonifacio when I was at a very young age. That was before Year 1970. Yeah I can still remember my life's history since age 4. Unforgettable! I cannot erase them from my very sharp memory they keep haunting me back.
