Bon Appetit Or Have A Picnic?
Home made food or food at home cooked by my family's favorite cook and food cooked at the restaurant by a local chef. What's the difference? Do you think there is that big wide difference?
Hopefully there is that difference in the form of presentation, manner of cooking, the taste: delicious or bland, uniqueness and the technique that brings a good food looks exclusively tasty, very appealing and most of all looks professionally cooked by a veteran. It's the appearance that makes the food tantalizing no doubt about it.
Whatever! I hate the drama. I wish I could just cook based on my own whim. Just give me all the ingredients, complete and right ingredients to make things happen.
I don't mind being invited for a treat outside of my comfort zone. Dine in the most formal setting and or be happy and contented in my own home once in a blue moon.
A treat is a treat and I'm a Mother of three beautiful and handsome teens and hardworking husband who paid for the treat at the finest restaurant in town. I was surprised that the old restaurant's kind of menu is no longer in their order book. Maybe new owner or maybe bought by a different chain of restaurants. Who knew?
Wait, wait for the cheque to clear. Our fridge is almost empty and my family needs the supply. I couldn't believe that the paycheque takes time to clear. It will take 7 days? In Canada? Wow! What happened to the government's issue of abolishing the red tape? What happened to the banking system? Too slow! Uhm, what's happening Canada?
