Long time ago there is no such thing as orientation or seminar for would-be writers. At least I know that most of the prolific writers who were born to write in the 17th to 18th Century do not need such workshop to write. They were BORN TO WRITE due to their blood connection. It was actually a sense of CALLING. They were HISTORIANS, EXPLORERS, TRAVELERS, SCIENTISTs, PHYSICISTs and their WRITINGS are essential for their work. Who called these writers to write you wont be surprised if you know those famous authors just by reading their autobiography and based from their knowledge acquired through many years of educating themselves. Wish that you are just compared to Abraham Lincolm the US President who just studied in the library without a teacher, self-study acquiring knowledge and he became a president. Is there another president in this world just like President Lincoln?
Since there were few genuine writers who can write and knew the right language to be used during the age of Enlightenment there's really not much of competition. Unlike today of course in our present generation wherein the competition is highly exaggerated at the most. Every writer and every blogger who is trying to make blogging a living or occupation will do their part to be in a circle of writers and then the orientation, workshop and training becomes a fad and as if socializing in many social networks are not enough. Okay socializing is one way to securing yourself of being known to the other circle of friends and acquaintances. Be known. Be popular and from there you'll be accepted as a professional blogger or writer. Well, twenty years ago writers have to use disguised and pseudonyms to look mysterious. It's about their novels, their stories that are important. The readers are only after for the story. They never question what the writer does, what that specific writer looks like. Really I myself was not concerned who the writer is. Nobody cares. I do not care about those authors of book before if I have to remember those books I read from Grade School to College. I don't care about the author of those textbooks for as long as I know their stories and the messages they implied and what's the relevance of such messages. Well for code crackers it's the message the only most important in this world. Understand?
Now that I'm part of those blogwriters and writers who really write ( hopefully they are the writers not the agents) (wink!) I have to do something worthy not to embarrassed them eh? LOL! Ha ha! I can't help laughed at what I have written. Anyway, the key to happiness is BE YOURSELF!
