How time flies and birthdays too!? Whose birthday? It's the birth of the Philippine's Independence or call it anniversary actually that is being held every year of course. It is celebrated not as much as it spectacularly amazing as before. Filipinos are not that patriotic or loyal as before. The mix or racial mixture of so many race in their blood is hard to pin-point where their true loyalty.
Halo-halo na ang lahi ng mga Filipino. Five hundred years reign of the Spaniards in the Philippines is the sign of times that the Spanish blood is thicker. The heritage, culture and the language can attest to the many racial doubts you have in mind. The Roman Catholicism helps propagate the Spanish rule.
Then the borrowed customs and traditions including superstitious beliefs from the many ancestors: Indonesians, Malaysians, and the Chinese then you wonder what is really " Filipinos" in the inhabitants of the Philippines.
Then the government...the system of government and governance was borrowed too from the Americans. Americans calling Filipinos as the "Brown Americans." The great imitators? The Filipinos? Hmm, who said that?
Who are the true Filipinos? The Commonwealth Government during the American Occupation before World War II will lead you to believe that Philippines was actually an American Territory. Actually it is "American in nature." The Presidents of the Philippines from 1900 to 1945 are Americans. Hard to believe? For mestizos and mestizas to live freely under the scorching heat of the sun will leave them with brown skin in just a matter of one year. The Brown Race is a dominant race and the White Race becomes a conquest. However, the White Race wont admit that eh even if the biological Mother came from the Brown Race.
The secret is ADAPTATION. Look at this plant.
Kangkong
Do you think kang-kong will survive in cold country Canada? I think it will survive during summer time. At summer time, the weather in Canada is painfully blinding hot and unruly sometimes.

Time to go fishing? Not this time dude. The fence is finished, the paint is dry; what to do now? My husband and brother-in-law have to bring the propeller to the welder's shop to have it fix or replace? Whatever! I don't know mechanics and mechanical parts of a boat.
Butterfly on Petunia
While my daughter and I are watering the plants outside, at the front yard suddenly a beautiful butterfly flutters neatly on air and on the flowers. I chased the butterfly like I'm so crazy because I can't aim my camera properly because the lovely creature doesn't stop moving. It flew on top of different flowers, then stop on petunia for few seconds, then moved again in another floral after another. I was chasing the butterfly hoping I can catch it with my bare hands. Well, unfortunately the butterfly flew in another direction where I can't catch it. Then I saw one dragonfly flying and chasing it for a pictorial would be lame though I'm happy to let you know that at one time I was able to catch a big dragonfly lost its direction and landed inside the windows of our house years ago.
