Whew! Drizzles!!!!! Gloomy days are here to stay I think until the 23rd of September due to low precipitation? Early start of Fall (Autumn). Numerous happenings every now and then but let's focus on the most important.
I was upset for quite a while. My husband went shopping alone. He used to ask me first every time he goes to Comox but this time around he went on a solo shopping spree twice in one month. He bought groceries for our monthly stock. I have my own grocery list and none of them are in his list. I guessed he drives to Costco whenever we run out of coffee. Why drove 25 minutes from home to that place when the supermarket is within reach in 15 minutes? My husband likes discounted wholesale items that's why. He probably thought the price of meat products are cheaper but it only reserved for pork, veal and chicken. The price of beef remains costly! Ree, tell me why beef is so expensive?
My eldest son has returned to stay in our home so our meal will be according to his choice. He loves beef but I can only prepare and cook spaghetti, hamburger, and beef stir-fry. No roast beef or beef steak for now until the price of beef goes down. Down, down, down.
Up to now don't know really what happened in the Mainland. Part of it was probably the windstorm that hit the city a week ago, black outs and falling trees plus the debris causing strange damage and what could be the effect of a snowstorm if ever hit that area? Power off? Then the lockdown drill? Weird!
He had to renew his license and insurance for the vehicle he drives for the past 4 years. It was okay, so glad it was in good condition unlike those vehicles that were damaged by windstorm and fallen trees as seen on TV news.
"Old stock Canadians"remains the topic of conversation around Canada for few days now. What old stock Canadians are? Are you an old stock? Old stock or old stuck?
I had that slipped of the tongue and said VIKINGS. Mr. Wayne Gretzky came to the rescue and meet PM Harper. Dunno really who is the highlander. Do you know?
Then the JEDIs arrived on time and in timing with the situation. Ciao for now.
