It's hard to believe but I'm done, finally finished reading the novel LEGACY OF WAR written by the famous author of books Wilbur Smith and David Churchill. I first thought would finish it by next month because I was busy with something else. However, when I reached page 331 suddenly reading was kind of fun, faster and more exciting due to the adrenaline rush of the main characters in the novel. I cannot stop after then til the end of the fast-moving drama/action as if the scenes are movie-like. Bittersweet. I wont tell you the ending, just in case you want to read it for yourself to find out how good the story is.
But you know what? You should read the very beginning of the Courtney's saga, start with WAR CRY then COURTNEY's WAR before you read LEGACY OF WAR.
My hubby was quite surprised too and he was even surprised that I was able to sew the fabric that we bought weeks ago. I showed him the style and design and he was amused saying, " I should buy you more textiles for you to sew." Yey, he likes to see me in sewing mode rather than facing the computer I think. The sewing machine is computerized you know, so it's really a smooth machine.
Okay, sure buy me lots and tons of fabric. Ha ha! I told him that whenever I sat down on the chair and have my hands on the sewing machine, I wont be able to stop until the work is done. I have to finish a blouse (tops), dress or pair of pants. Hey, it took me only 4 hours to sew those two trendy tops.
When I'm in the mood, it will take a matter of 8 hours to finish sewing a beautiful gown, party gown. Well, it depends on what kind of fabric, color of the fabric, the quality of thread and weave.
