FOOD is what makes family stick through thick and thin. FOOD is what makes family stays together for reunion or just plain get-together bonding for good cause or great occasion to share and celebrate the good old days.
We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, New Year's day, Valentine's day, Family Day and so many holidays and special occasions here and there... and food always part of the celebration. It could be lavish platters of delicious foods and mouth watering desserts.
However, there are too many don'ts and that avoidance-conflict with having those flavourful cuisines that it's almost like "caveat emptor happenings."
Caveat emptor has something to do with ailments and doctor & dietitian's order of limiting foods with potassium, phosphorous, and what else? Hmmm... foods with sodium (salt) and soy sauce. Foods that you eat in hospitals could only be the appropriate meals for me. lol That means foods without sodium and without potassium. Wow! What a hassle.
Anyway... for my family that's not really a problem for they can eat what they like without restriction.
