Saving Up

It's good to know how resourceful some Filipinos are. Just from empty cans of milk they can use them as planters. Good idea. I wish I could do that here in my place. But I can't ....I'll be the laughing stock here if I do that.

Before my blog is supposed to be about tourism and travel. Taking photos of the picturesque views here and posted them in one of my blogs. What do you think I gained from it? Praises? Awards? You wont believe this, but some obnoxious people here vandalized our vehicle and even nasty rude threats were uttered over the phone by these anonymous individuals. What these people want? They don't want any tourists in this city. They only want to turn this city as a retirement place for seniors so that they can all go back to work at Zellers and Superstore. But please let them be courteous and cheerful when they entertain their customers at the grocery stores because most of them are grumpy!

There is this "higher" kind of mentality brewing in this community where I live. On summertime I would like to hang some of our clothes at our terrace to conserve electricity. Knowing our electric bill is way too much for a month. I tried that one time. Hung some clothes at the terrace to dry them. After a week, I don't know for some reasons that there was a page there in the local newspaper about neighbours complaining about their "view" is blocked with those linens, etc. Oh what a complainer! Too rich for their own comfort I guess.

What else? They whine, they complained almost about everything. What about if we just shut down the whole mill in this province? Then there's no need to conserve electricity for one hour. It would be for months and months. Peste! The real GREEN SAVINGS!
