Contemplating on what to do with my children this Spring Break. Imagine two weeks without going to school. Early Vacation starting on the 17th day of March, which is Saint Patrick's Day. Do you have your clover leaf? Then start of Holy Week, Holy Thursday on the 20th, 21st is Good Friday. The next day is Black Saturday. Easter Sunday is on the 23rd! Easter Monday on the 24th.
Now, I wonder why the Beijing Olympic Games Officials want to start the Summer Olympic Games in August of 2008? It is Spring here but Summer there already in Asia. Summertime in March! June to August is the typhoon season already.
Makes me wonder really. For them to start it in August is leading to Autumn when the cherry tree blossom is way passed over. You start boycotting the Beijing Olympic Games then what good you may have in the next Olympic Games in your country when most of your textiles and other materials came from China. Be fair!
Back to Easter Sunday when children will hunt for those eggs left by the Easter bunnies. I'm not sure whether I still have to practice that tradition with my kids for they've all grown up. How time flies.
