The Olympic Torch Relay continues In Victoria, B.C. Katrina Lemay Dawn was the first one to be given the chance to start the hand to hand official torch run across Vancouver Island. So from the Parliament Building to Butchart Garden and across the many cities within Vancouver island excitement and joyful expectations are deeply expressed in their facial expressions. Wow! How lucky are those official Olympic Athletes able to touch the flaming torch. Campbell River residents expect to have the Olympic torch arrival on November 2, 2009 at the Spirit Square in Tyee Plaza.
Shaw TV had shown on television news announcement that the Spirit Square is ready to welcome the Olympic torch which is a symbolic gesture of welcoming the Torch Light Flame.
Not only this relay is very symbolic but the significance of this Game is unique and enigmatic. The enigma attached to it is a mystery, very mysterious indeed. The "symbols" that were used for this very long ceremony is not only awesome but AMAZING. The pride of every Canadian is at stake here.
I would be just a plain watch keeper for this moment of triumph for them and for my kids who were born here in Canada. I wish that one day Philippines will have the chance to host this wonderful dignified, the only international sports that were truly remarkable and respected by people around the world. It is not only a showcase of great athletes but also a brilliant ingenious way that holds true to your pride and race as a human being with great humility, aspiration, hope and dreams.
We'll have our opportunity to take part in the Olympics hosting ceremony maybe >> maybe in Year 2024? Who knows? Who knows what tomorrow brings?
Halloween Day the next day. Do you have candies and chocolates? Are you ready for trick and treats? How many will knock at your door? Last year we had about 54 children and adults who knocked at our front door. All saying the usual beggin' TRICK OR TREAT? I'd like to respond TRICK! Although would they be happy with what they will get in return? That's the feelin.' I would rather go with my kids in their quest hunting for great goodies. I hope they will give better selection of chocolates such as the white choco Lindt , chips and kinder surprise where small creatures are inside and you have to assemble them one by one. Don't think about gremlins. Not funny at all. I could hop and hop or jump after jump and follow few steps and hand over some real chicken eggs would that be fascinating? That throw them one by one on the road? OMG! That's very juvenile. I know not really my kind of fun. Just my very weird imagination.
Or waitcha, what about I wear a mummy costume then let the rolls of plaster fall on the ground. Yikkess! What a big joke that is. Oh goody, see the sun's smiling once again. That's right. That's what I want a bright sunshine at my place and outside our home.
