Where All The Sockeye Goes?

Where did all the 2 MILLION SOCKEYE salmon go? I don't have a clue. I am clueless right now. Sockeye is the most sought-after salmons in British Columbia no doubt about it. But of course it is superbly delicious. More delicious than apples. It is the most expensive salmon in the entire salmon species. What you can see here on the photographs are pink not sockeye. There are more pink salmons in the ocean than sockeye I don't know why.

Let us conclude on the disappearance of sockeye in the Fraser Valley. Uhm probably they are losing their religion and sockeye can't be found? Or simply let us put it this way> BC's school of fish love cooler body of water. Salmons thrive in cold water in the ocean and river then end up spawning along the banks of the river at the end of their life span. Then you'll notice of their strange discoloration. The climate has a major part of discovering how salmons can add or prolong their life span. Anyway with two millions of sockeyes why the "authorities" can't find them? Simply mind boggling isn't it? Maybe the current has drove them away from BC waters and then traveled through other parts of the next city waters through the next country. Who knows? You cannot put every tag on salmons especially if they are in millions. Or let us say these 2 million salmons were already canned and now displayed on the shelves in major supermarkets. Or probably they are smoked to perfection for Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration. I don't really know. What am saying here are just "probabilities." Maybe or maybe not.

How much is a sockeye salmon in the market? Well, it depends on its weight I assumed. probably 10 lb. sockeye salmon is worth C$ 30.00? Or more than its value. Expensive!

Campbell River is known as the "Salmon Capital Of The World." It's true! We have millions of salmon and billions of salmon eggs in the Hatchery. Once these baby salmons are released in big bodies of water it will go through all the passages where water is abundant and where the current is. How to stop them from going through the passages where they should not be depends on close guarding them. You should have corals, sea weeds, natural reefs or man-made reefs to stay in BC's ocean and rivers. If you don't have those barriers then you wont have any fish in your country. Other countries would love to have them as much as you do.
