Before the day ends let me greet you with the sweetest Happy All Saints' Day! Don't worry the costume and props just for the (1) day of the celebration.
I woke up this morning at about past 7 am. Kind of late but it looks too early because it's foggy outside. Creepy! Yikkess.
Prepared meal for lunch: Hot wonton soup with bokchoy and leafy green spinach, just for me and my family had cheeseburger instead. I tried to eat less because I'm gaining so much weight and have problem breathing. Looking at the salal evergreen leaves help me cope up. Easy on the eyes. He he he! I should have coconut groves here inside my home. Anyway, had shrimps with coconut milk for supper and they had malaysian chicken wings and steamed rice. After lunch and after supper it's the end of work at the kitchen and it's time for me to blog. Just like you I want to accomplish some other important things first before I blog or rant to heart's desire.
The Avon lady arrived this afternoon and brought the Avon brochures. They are always advance with their ads whatever the occasion is. Dunno yet what to order. There are so much expenses lately.
Fewer batch of kids, teens and toddlers knocked and rung our door bell last night for the trick or treats. Left over candies, chocolates and chips. Great! I guess it's because the weather is real bad for the whole week not too many enjoyed this once a year celebration. It's the time of the year that you would rather cramp inside your room and pretend you are in camp with a campfire outside sort of sipping hot coco and eating marshmallows. It's the time of the year where you would rather just wear comfy pyjamas and sit beside the fireplace and watch favorite shows on TV or watch movies.
It's good to know that another blogger cope up with her depression. It's nice to see you smiling again and back to blogging stronger than ever. Goodluck Lora. Then somewhere in the blogworld waits for her big break through Penguins.com will she be fortunate enough to beat the system? Dunno. Will wait and see.
I'm here in Canada where we don't visit the cemetery unlike in the Philippines where millions of people go and visit their deceased loved ones at the cemetery or loyola park. I remember all the dead members of my family: my grandparents, my oldest sister Zenaida who died of polio and pneumonia, my best friend who died of leukemia, my cousin who died also of leukemia, my parents- in- law...may their good spirit continue to guide us and may they rest in peace in the hands of our Lord God. Amen.
For all of us, the living it's time to rejoice and be at peace and fill our hearts with gratitude. Thank the Lord our God for everyday gifts whether they are big or small in whatever size, shape or form.
