Question Period

Do you know that wise saying "if someone throws you a stone, you have to throw him or her a piece of bread? Who do you think  followed this kind of doctrine?

Something hard over something soft. Do something good to somebody who did you wrong?

I think in Buddhism you are not to believe somebody after he fooled you or you end  up like a fool.

However some people believed in second chance. I think it depends on the level of how sins are committed. For God no matter how much you sinned, His teaching taught you to forgive 7 x 7 x7 and 7 for as long as it takes? It would be hard for a human being to forget and forgive. Humans are humans not God so the pressure is different and the psychological and emotional implications varied differently.

So really it depends of what kind of offensive situation or on case to case basis. Letting go of the past is the only way that can heal all wounds and if you have amnesia and debilitated by alzheimers disease it would be easy for them to forgive because after all they don't remember anything.

Do you think God has forgiven Adam and Eve because of what they did in paradise? Hard to tell right? Who knows that the original sin is just that of picking the fruit that God forbids them to eat. Disobedience is the sin they committed. Why God do not want them to eat the fruit of the knowledge of the good and evil? Do you think that if Eve has taken the fruit of life instead it would be a different outcome?
