I had a lady surveyor who phoned our home today and asked the same kind of question every 3 months. How many vacancy in the townhouse and how much is the rent? That's the usual question of inquiry. We seldom have no vacancy in the townhouse facility and this time there is one vacancy and it's under renovation mode. The rent went up this year from C$804 to $825/month for a two bedroom upstairs, 1 bathroom (upstairs and half washroom downstairs) 5 appliances. Utilities are not included in the rent so extra payment for the utilities. It was a modern townhouse located in a peaceful progressive community where it was closer to all amenities in the area. Actually the townhouse units are great for a couple with only one or two children. It was a safe and secured family-oriented facility. The water is safe to drink, bathe and of good quality source of anything you can do with water.
So you think that's the best place on this area to be in such safe and secured community? I think so! The only reason why we moved out from that area is because the place is too small for my family. The space is not enough for my three children and all the furniture we had it's impossible to move around. There's no workshop for all the carpentry tools my husband owned. The allocated parking space for tenants is one vehicle only. Where will we park our boat and trailer and tractor? We cannot get rid of the boat because we live in the island surrounded by water and it's adviseable to have a boat, one for each family in the island. It's more of a necessity rather than a luxury. Man has to go fishing, relax and enjoy the sea and the fish ofcourse. catching a big fish is a man's reward or the biggest prize of hard work. While the boat is a man's trophy for his hard work and cease the day that life and love is fair in all its angle.
My husband is the resident-manager for that townhouse. The manager since 1997. 17 years to be exact managing, doing the over-all maintenance of that 31 unit-townhouse including yardwork.
Reality! Practicality!! Live in a home that is safe, secured and offers a lot of good advantages for your family. A home you can afford and live in a thorough harmonious happy family life.
To live, rent and pay mortgages up to C$ 1,500/month is too much I think especially when the utitilities are rocket sky-high. Like paying for something we never use or why we have to pay for somebody else's mess? Maybe the mortgage rent is okay but thinking about adding all the utilities because of how the house is set up then that's the problem. It's probably good to rent a $1,500/monthly for a three bedroom house only if the house is NEW. An old house and a house that's not been fully cleaned, fumigated and inspected is not the right home for us. It should have been properly cleaned, inspected and fumigated first. Well some realtors never really tell the truth about what's inside the house and they never reveal who the first tenants who rented the place and worst of all they never fix what should be fixed inside and outside the house. So be very aware out there. Open all your five senses before renting or buying a house.
Moving out is stressful and it costs a lot of money and to find out the many creeps about the house that adds stress, tension and pressure. It also an emotional and psychological burden. WEAK? Not at all. You are weakened by not able to conquer what comes up and weakened only by the strenth of negativity however when positivity is at greater length and greater impact then the opposite weakened and there's nothing that they can do about it. They had fallen.
