We have so much ham for the month of November. Shocking! However so many different kind of viand and soup that I produced, created and made into recipe for special kind of ham. Glorious!
Right there above, is the photo of shredded cabbage and carrots sauteed with ham, garlic and onions mixed with oyster sauce and teriyaki sauce. Good for plain steamed rice or kaiser buns. Simple interesting meal.
Tired of the roasting of whole pig or chicken? Try roasting pork loin. Pork loin's good substitute for the ordinary lechon kawali. Loin's always tender and meaty. Prepare your bottle of "mang tomas lechon sauce" or make a simple sweet and sour sauce from scratch.
Awesome combination: Pork tenderloin, steamed brocolli, steamed rice, boiled potato and small bowl of tasty creamy mushroom soup.
If you are looking for recipe? My blog is not for such thing. For the most veteran cook or chef, just by looking at certain food on the picture they can manage to cook the same kind of food. Every cook has that special technique or method on how to begin with first thing first.
Just let the veteran cook know if the viand is to be prepared or cook in the following procedure: Saute', skillet, fry, boil, steam, simmer, stir-fry, deep-fry, roast, broil, bake > and they know right away how to begin.
For the beginners it's always from the beginning of teaching them from the top to the bottom of the numbered procedure then to follow and remember the right ingredients (from the small spicy ingredients down to the main ingredients).
I should rename my blog: F O O D instead of The Conscious Mind (Mind Over Matter)
